Got stuck on simple math

Question

FIrst of all I`m sorry for my newbie question,
but I searched for my answer in other scripts and didn`t find solution.
Script says that 100 not > that 2.
I think that the problem in:
var myStab=parseFloat(pal.num1);
I`ve tried to change parseFloat to parseInt, but that gave nothing.
What`s the problem here?
var pal = new Window("palette","Analyzer",[0,0,300,200]); 
pal.solidBt = pal.add ("button", [100,175,200,195],"Analyze");
pal.Al = pal.add ("StaticText", [10,10,100,30],"Is 100> than");

For example I`ve got this piece script:
