Got this problem with backing up my new iPhone 5 from my other IPhone 4 data. After changing to my new IPhone 5 I haven't backed up my old IPhone in almost a year. Now I want to sync all the data of the old phone and I can't do neither backups. Help!!!!!
Every time I started to at least restore the little data left on the very last update I made in the old phone at Itune It continualy kept trying to restore and at the end a message will appear saying that an error had occurred and restore was unable to complete. Please I need help on this. I got over 2,000 songs in the old phone and I don't want to loose them. Thanks!

Hi! So I recently bought a new MacBook, but I've had an iPhone for years. I want to sync all of my music from my iPhone to my Mac's iTunes. Whenever I open iTunes and connect my phone though, it want to sync my iTunes library, instead of the other way around. This would erase all my music from my phone. You cannot synch the other way, with the exception of songs purchased on iTunes.
What you need to do is move the iTunes library from the computer to which you've been synching your phone and put it on your new MacBook. -

I copied my whole itunes folder to an external drive as id run out of space on my PC. I then changed the location of the folder on iTunes through preferances, but it gave me a warning which i just pressed no/cancel to without reading it, but i didnt realise that then it had not saved the new folder location. When i deleted the original folder, everything dissapeared from itunes meaning i had to reload everything from the new, moved, itunes folder. This wasnt a problem, except it had lost all memory of playlists and play counts etc. But now, when i try and sync my phone, it tells me there is not enough space on the phone as it must be trying to add all of the music from itunes to the phone as well as what is already on the phone.
Is there a way to upload everything from the phone to itunes, including play counts and playlists?

How do i just sync my phone to itunes without having to reset the phone and losing photographs, and without itunes trying to add everything twice?
Last question, why do Apple want to make this so difficult for me? What is wrong with plane old 'click and drag'??
Help me would be greatly apprerciated!! Thanks.Close iTunes. Click the icon to start it, then press and hold down the left shift key. Keep holding until asked to choose or create a library. Choose the iTunes folder on your external drive. That should bring back all your playlists, ratings, play counts etc. You may have to settle for removing and reloading the media onto the device again. That's not too bad, but what you don't want to have happen is your apps being removed and reloaded as then you can lose settings and data. If that looks likely backup and then restore the device rather than sync it.
If for some reason rebuilding the library the way you did has moved files around then the restored library may have trouble finding things. If so post back and I'll explain what to do...

Verizon needs to move their line off old pole. Almost a year now and they still haven't moved it!
I have submitted two tickets for Verizon to move their line off an old pole to newly erected poles since March 2013. We had new utility poles installed by Dominion Power and all the other utility lines have be moved, but Verizon will not move their line! We are going to start building a new house this spring and Verizon's line is in the way. No matter who I speak with, we get the run around and nothing ever happens. We have asked Dominion Power to intervene since it's their poles and they have sent them "NJUNS" ticket requests (whatever that means). But Verizon still hasn't moved their line. ughhhhhhh Why is it so hard to get though to someone in customer service that can actually help me with this???
We are now at the point where people have told us we should file a complaint with the VA SCC. I live in northern Virginia. We can't delay building because of this line, so something needs to be done ASAP. If anyone has any advice before I file an official complaint, please let me know. Thanks!

Because Verizon's customer service department's primary job is to handle billing issues, new customer sign-ups and package changes. They also provide some technical support. Anything outside of that is usually something they can't handle.
You most certainly should file a complaint with your local and/or state government. That'll get their attention quicker than anything short of the pole getting knocked down by a snowplow.

Go to Solution.Check Windows Device Manager for yellow cautions for all BB and Rim Drivers and try to update if so, try to update anyway if no cautions.
If the above does not help you should uninstall all drivers for BB or RIM listed in Device Manager, click View on the Menu in Device Manager then Show hidden devices.
The drivers are usually found in these places, BlackBerry, Disk drives, DVD/CD, Modems (Standard modem only), Network Adapters, Ports.
Once all are uninstalled unplug your phone if it was plugged in and power OFF your computer (not restart), power ON your computer and wait 5 to 10 minutes before plugging in your phone.
Once you plugin your device wait another 10 min. before doing anything, BB software is slow and Windows is slow to recognize it so time is needed for drivers to install properly. -
My iphone 3g wont load all comments from online newspaper. when I touch the "load more comments" button the little spinning spiral appears then nothing happens. Anyone else have this problem with some online newspapers?

First of all, the market is full of buggy games.
Secondly, R7770 is a mid-range (cheap) graphics card.
With only 128 bits memory interface, don't expect to play complex games at high resolutions, 8X AA and great FPS values.
To get an idea, GTX 560 is faster than R7770.
GTX 560 is a good GPU, but not a great one. -

Now I do want to let you know that your phone has a "main" gmail account. If this "main" gmail account was the one you deleted it may be best that you reset your phone and activate it to your new gmail address.
The reason I recommend doing this is all of your purchased application information is also tied to your gmail.

My husband got a new ipad and set up his own apple id without looking into the implications of that. Now I want to sync this ipad with our itunes so we can access it on here, but our itunes has a different apple id. Any way to do this?
You should be able to accept this message, it will cause existing music, photos (not camera roll) and videos (also excluding those in camera roll) to be removed and replaced with those from this computer. All other user data on the iPad will be unaffected.

You need to use the backup of your PC to transfer all the music files to iTunes on the Mac.
If you have no backup then you have a difficult task ahead of you as iTunes will only allow you to sync purchased music from the iPhone back into iTunes. Any music you loaded into iTunes yourself will not transfer from the iPhone to iTunes, this is to prevent stealing of music. To sync iTunes purchased music from the iPhone to iTunes, connect the iPhone and open iTunes, but when asked do NOT sync the device. then right click on the iPhone in the iTunes source list and select the 'Transfer Purchases' option, you will also find this commend in the File menu.
If you are in the US, you can use the new iTunes in the Could feature to redownload your iTunes purchased music / apps / books for free.
If you want to transfer all the content from your iPhone to you Mac then you will need to use Google to find a 3rd party piece of software that will do this for you. -
