'Credit account' concept in FD32 acts as credit delegation to parent account.
- this delegation turned out to be simple tool, but vulnerable to hedge group-wide credit risk.
In FSCM version, SAP has strengthen this 'week form' of risk management, which sometime has troubled us.
FSCM has two kinds of credit control models for group-level credit control;
one is main/sub model and another is business partner relationship
Suppose you prefer to 'business partner relationship model'.
* Scenario and expected result;
'business partner relationship model' is different from 'credit account' concept, in that it both credit- checks for 'BP A' and 'BP B'. However, I guess that you could achieve goal if you set as below;
firstly, map BP A and BP B as business partner relationship
(BP A is lower, BP B is higher)
Secondly, assign to different risk category; BP A to no risk category, BP B to high risk category
(I supposed both A and B has same CCA(credit segment))
Thirdly, maintain 'OVA8'(Define Automatic Credit Control) differently
eg. no risk category => no message, high risk category => error message

I'm trying to use connection overrides for universe to assign different CPU processing limit for different group members on the database side. For those with low CPU limit setting, they would need to schedule their reports. I'm trying to find out if there is any way for the database to know if the report is on demand or scheduled. If scheduled, there should be no limit. I did a preliminary test with both on demand and scheduled WebIntelligence reports and both passed the wiReportServer.exe instead of wiJobServer.exe on the database side as AppName. Does anyone have any suggestion to look at that can differentiate the two?

In fbl5n when i execute for all the customers and give print command its printing every new customer on a new page but i want to print the data continously.

you're case is quite common, because SAP displays the customer data in a standard layout, putting a page break after every customer and company code.
In order to avoid this, you may change the grouping criteria. For that,
1. be sure that you have not clicked on the header of any column in the list
2. click on button "sort ascending"
3. here you'll see that fields "company code" and "account" have an asterisk on column NG (new group). This means that, for every change in these fields, SAP will insert a page break
4. remove these asterisks
5. (optional) save this layout for further launchings of the report

We are using standard detail screen HRESS_CC_PER_DTL_BANK_DE for Germany, We have observed that even if the user changes/updates/creates the new record without filling Iban field system will not throw any error which is correct as per V_T588MFPROPC as we have not made it mandatory. but we have an option to populate Iban using specific button in PA30, can we have the same functionality in ESS? Can we implement HRPAD00INFTYDB for this purpose? Is there any other option for this functionality?

How to Query the Summary Name from Custom Section Row Header Information
I need a query that can help me retrieve the summary name from a custom section row header information. We have a couple of Denorm tables that when the data is denormalized, the row_name field is only showing the denormalized alias name. We would like to be able to pull the summary name from the row header information section? How can we use the denorm alias name and join it to another table to find the associated summary name?
The following query returns the row name as well as the denorm row name, for a given custom section, where we specify the custom section by the denorm table. You oculd do this in other ways, it just depends on how you want to retrieve the information. Is this what you are looking for?

Is there a recommended limit on the number of custom sections and the cells per table so that there are no performance issues with the UI?

The answers would be the following:
1200 cells per custom section (NEW COUNT), and up to 30 custom sections per spec.
Assuming all will be populated, and this would apply to all final material specs in the system which could be ~25% of all material specs.
The cells will be numeric, free text, drop downs, and some calculated numeric.
Are we reaching the limits for UI performance?

Temporarily Increase Customer credit limit for va01

My requirement is we want increase credit limit for customers for 1 or 2 days in temporarily basic or va01 order release purpose .
I maintained customer wise temporary credit & valid from and to dates in a z-table. How to solve this problem without using credit management FD32.

moon.Your requirement to increase Credit LImit of Customer for 1 - 2 days based on a Z-Table is not possible in SAP Standard. Also you dont want to use FD32.
Now in OVA8, Under Checks you have three Boxes for User 1, 2, & 3. There are the Enchancement Points give by SAP for you to implement your Z-Requirment in Credit Management.
You Requirement will have to be mapped in a Z-Development, speak to your ABAPer & he can write a code in User Exit which will refer your Z-Table & do the needful.

Productwise credit limit for a customer
Hi All,
Is it possible to maintain credit limit productwise (Divisionwise )for a customer.
we sell different products like Washing machine,Air conditioner ,Refrigrator etc which we classify as division in SD Module . we want to maintain credit limit for a customer productwise.ie seperate limit for Washing Machine, Air Cond and ref etc .
same should be checked at the time of creating sales order (VA01).
If some one have any solution for the above scenario please let me know.

There is no standard functionality available to have the credit limits at product level, but try to build the logics and process through the three exits available in credit Management.
Also,
You can do is set credit limit, Credit control area wise.
You can use multiple credit control area, and assign the CCA to separate sales areas ( That will represent the different Region / Products, as per your requirement).
The assignment can be done in the below path:
IMG> Enterprise Structure>Assignment>Sales and Distribution>Assign sales area to credit control area
Here for combination of Sales Organisation , Distribution channel and Division you can assign separate credit control areas.
While the Distribution channels can be defined Region wise, the Divisions can be defined Product wise.
Now in FD32, Set the Credit limit of the customer , Credit control area wise.

Is there a 2GB file size limit on saving a custom format plugin for a custom file type?
I have resolved issues on reading files > 2GB. Now when I save files >2GB, I get a popup that states there is a 2GB limit for plugins.
I an using photoshop CS6 on a MAC OSX 10.9 with 16 GB RAM.
The custom file type is what should be selected when the Save As Dialogue is visible.
I looked for a setting in the Photoshop preferences for Files & setting to PSB, but did not see one.
I tried modifying values in the PiPL for formatmaxSize and PluginMaxSize, but the only values that the code will compile in with:
32767 & 2147483647.
I saw a posting in previous years that custom plugins were limited to 2 GB.I would like to rephrase my question, now that I have worked a little more with my code.
Is there a 2GB limit per channel and 4GB limit for total file size for a custom photoshop format plugin? -

We have 100 Million records in a table on production database. We are planning to move the data to test environment for performance tuning of the databse and queries.
We have created a DB Link between these DB's to transfer the data between the database.
We are planning to move the data in the following fashion:

Flawed premise. What makes you think that the test environment will match the production with a 100% degree of accuracy!? - as that is what you need in order to
a) identify the performance bottlenecks
b) solve these
You are very much mistaken if you think you can identify actual performance issues happening on prod by mucking about on a test environment that just happens to have the same data volume.
Even data volume alone is meaningless as a copy of the data is logical - any potential issues with pctfree and pctused will not be reflected. Any potential hot spots on disk will not be reflected. The copy will not have the same number of segments and extents. Etc. Etc.
And this is just the data.. never mind numerous other issues ranging from actual hardware and operating system to Oracle instance configuration and production load and processing. -

Credit limit is maintained on payer level and you are not able in standard to split it between sold-to or assign N sold-to to one global limit. You have to extend the credit control functionality to check the credit limit additionally for the global limit customer. Unfortunatelly you cannot implement it without development.

Problem to edit Custom section for Italian users
Hi,
In our system we have some users are set Italian as UI language in their profile.
These users aren't able to edit custom sections when these Custom Sections are on a GSM spec.
But the same users are able to edit the CS after I change UI Language in English.

I’ll try to better explain.
Unfortunately I don't use SLE.
With the same user:
1 - I open a GSM spec
2 - I click on Extended attribute Tab
UI English: Internet Explorer opens properly the page
UI Italian: Internet Explorer shows me "error on page" (at the bottom left corner) but opens the page anyway.
3 - I add a Custom Section (System works both in English and in Italian)
the issue comes when I try to edit section:
- UI English = "Edit Section" >> the system works properly
- UI Italian = "Modifica Sezione" >> the system doesn't works and shows me "error on page" (at the bottom left corner).
