Government Collection of Student Account Reported

Hi everyone.  Earlier this year I received a letter from the U.S Board of Education about an overpayment that I owed from my previous school (that i didnt know about) that had been turned over to the government. I immediately called and paid what I owed and asked if this information would be reported to my credit. You dont appear to have an inaccuracy in what they reported.The assertion is apparently that they are bound by their statement that they would not report, In my opinionm, you have no inaccuracy in their reporting upon which to base a dispute,Since you paid the debt without prior reliance on a promise not to report, I see no contract term that was breached upon your payment. A dispute would, in my opinion, not prevail, and in fact might be counter-productive.Your normal path at this point would be to request their good-will deletion.  A dispute would most likely not foster their good-will.

    My fiancee and I have decided to buy a house in our area, we got a somewhat green light from our mortgage broker but he had stated there were some things that needed to have letters of payment or more information on them in order to proceed. The items are all regarding student loan accounts on my fiancees report. I did not know him when he took these loans and am not familiar with them at all but I am the one handling the credit issues because I have had a little experience with rebuilding for my family in the past. Unfortunately when I ask my fiancee about the items, he has ZERO clue how much, when, etc. So here are the items1. AES/NCT reporting a $ balance which was $19,759 and it says PAID but then says Charge off transferred to recovery. 2. Sallie Mae for $1333 original balance with a balance of $0 now Reporting as paid through insurance3. Sallie Mae for $875 original balance with a balance of $0 now Reporting as paid through insurance4. SW student services for $875 but with a balance of $0 now (this is the same account as the sallie mae above, not two accounts) Reporting as Transferred5. SW student services for $1333 original balance with a balance of $0 now (also the same account as the sallie mae above) Reporting as Transferred The SW student services ones were the originial lender for the two small student loans and they were opened in June 2003 and show as OK through October 2005 where they then stop reporting. The status shows no missed payments - He thought he paid these two small loans off right after he finished the program but he has no proof.  There are no other student loan items and or collection accounts on his credit so how do I find out where these went, how to pay them, how to get them removed.. anything? And since the SW student services and Sallie mae ones are the same as eachother shouldn't one set go away? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

    Just send a dispute of accuracy to the CRA, identifying the asserted inaccuracy and providing your reasons or documentation in support of your assertion.The CRA is then required under the FCRA to forward a copy of your dispute to the "furnisher," which in this case would be the heir in title to the debt.You are not required to name the current owner or who the CRA refers the dispute.  It is the responsibility of the CRA to make the determination of who to refer the disptue for their investigation and response. If the CRA does not receive verification back from the furnisher of the disputed information, that does not automaticaly require deletion.The CRA has the final authority in any dispute to make a determination as to whether they can verify the accuracy.Howver, in most situations, absent any verification from the furnisher, the CRA will be left with no basis to verify on their own, and thus lack of response from the furnisher will usually equate to CRA deletion as lacking verificaiton.

    I was looking at the Documentation for setting up GWMon to create Gateway Accounting Reports. It stays I need to create a external domain to collect the accounting/performance data. I have a single GW domain now.
    Do I have to install another MTA to do this?

    Hi All,
    I have to configure the student accounting related activity in SLCM. I am using SAP training material IHE-203. Am I refering the right material and how much it will be usefull for a person who has no idea about the FI-CA module.
    This material also instruc that "Student Accounting is covered by the course IHE200. It covers business processes in student accounting (ISPS-CA), fee calculation and sponsoring. This includes functions in master data processing, student
    accounting, collection activities."
    Please suggest so that I would able to configure the student account related activities.

    - IHE 203 is the new version of IHE 200.
    - Generally training material is intended for classroom training - it is not a self-learning material. So don't expect that this approach will be easy.
    - I will ask a colleague to contact you with information on the next planned offerings of a student accounting class.
    - IHE 203 includes the essential processes of FI-CA. However complementary FI-CA knowledge is usually required. Also you should have some generic knowledge about FI, CO, FM in case you have integration requirements to the general accounting system.

    Hi,
    I downloaded
    Windows Server 2012 Evaluation Version recently. Actually, I wanted to check whether i could run Windows Phone 8 emulator on Win server 2012 using my core2duo (Non-SLAT PC). Now i wanted to activate the evaluated version by using product key of my
    MSDN's student account. But its giving error when i enter my product key. I checked this article about converting evaluation version to full retail version. The article
    says :
    "If the server is a domain controller, you cannot convert it to a retail version. In this case, install an additional
    domain controller on a server that runs a retail version and remove AD DS from the domain controller that runs on the evaluation version."
    So kindly guide as to how I can install this additional domain controller and how to remove AD DS from domain controller. Currently, I have Dual Boot PC( win 8.1 and win server 2012).

    Unless you have configured a whole lot of things into the DC running on the evaluation copy (should never install production on an evaluation copy), it would be simplest to start from scratch and reinstall. 
    Or, you simply go into Server Manager > Manage > Add Roles and Features to remove the AD role.  Then you will be back to a workgroup server.
    The evaluation version is good for 180 days plus three re-arms of 30 days each.  So you can do a lot of experimenting with the evaluation copy without the need for using an MSDN key.

  • Profit Center Accounting Reports - New GL

    I've done the configuration and setup for the Profit Center accounting reports (new GL) in ecc 6 and I'm having an outstanding issue.
    If I attempt to run the reports via their transaction code, ie S_E38_98000088 I have no problems. Access/authorization is fine and the desired result is achieved. If I navigate the SAP Easy Menu to Accounting -> Financial Accounting -> General Ledger -> Information System -> General Ledger Reports (New) I don't see the "Reports for Profit Center Accounting folder.
    If I go to se43 and look at the S000 areamenu, the path is there. I've tried with a user account that has wide open access to everything and I still don't see it. Is there any configuration that needs to be done to get this menu path to display to the end user?
    Any help/suggestions are greatly welcomed.

    I think this comes with Enterprise Business Function FIN_GL_CI_1, t-code SFW5. Read the documentation in SFW5, those Reports are there.

    Is there any trick to identify from which layout the output is being dispalyed on the output file.

    4 Bucket Name
    5 risk option "Age"

    Could anyone please give some suggestion from which group/layout the above output is coming.
    If so i will try to add the field to that group and i will try to display the values.

    You are going to have to do this as a custom report. This is not one of those report exchange reports where you can change the format of the report on the fly.

    I ran the Rogue Account Report, and this report showed me X, Y users, to solve that user, I made a attestation, but the user had been showed again when I ran the Report, Is there other way to solve this problem?

    Note taht OIM OOTB reports already contains a report for Orphaned account. You can check that too.
