  • GP70 2PE Leopard Microphone problems.

    Hello
    I have a GP70 2PE Leopard but I have some mic problems.
It works, but it sounds like i'm underwater and the only thing i hear is wapwapwapwapwapwapwap.
Anyone has any idea how to fix it please? Or even knows where the mic is on this laptop?

Try to use a external headset and see if the mic has the same sound.
Also, try to update the latest audio driver from the MSI website.
    Realtek Audio Driver(6.0.1.7179)
    http://download.msi.com/nb_drivers/ad/audio_realtek_6.0.1.7179_0x29f517cb_81700.zip
If the issue still remains, then go for a check at the service center.
ok, I have downloaded it, and now I open it with Zip.
But which folder should I run to start the install?

  • Msi gp70 2pe leopard

i wanted to play dayz standalone on my laptop (gp70 2pe leopard) and i thougt it could do it easily.
But when i play dayz the framerates are very low even on very low graphics setting etc.
Any suggestions on this ? because i think it should be able to run it just fine.

Is your power light in orange while you are play DAYZ? Or it's blue?
If it's blue, that means your GP70 2PE only runs on internal (Intel) graphic chip and may not be fast enough.
To enforce your game running on external (NVIDIA) graphic chip, right-click your desktop and go to "NVIDIA Control Panel" -> "Manage 3D settings" -> select "Program Settings" and manually browse the execution file of the game DAYZ into customized list and select "High-performance NVIDIA processor" as your preferred graphic processor.

  • Equium M70-339: Playing video display freezes for second every 10sec

When I play a video/dvd etc the display sticks/freezes for a split second every 10 seconds or so. This happens when I play something online or from one of my own DVDs/CDs. It does it on all software (Windows Media, Real Player etc).
It seems to be a driver problem(?) but I can't be sure.
It is certainly very annoying! .. and seems to be getting more noticeable. Would appreciate any help as I can't find anything else on the web which explains why this happens.
    thanks
    Jim

The newly downloaded driver worked for a short time (I'm certain I have the correct one as it actually had a link on my PC to download the latest version) but is now back to the very annoying 'stick' every 10 seconds or so. I'm not sure what else I can do to fix this - it's very frustrating as it ruins enjoyment of videos, dvds and also watching internet tv, they all do the same. Any ideas?

  • Flash games freeze for some seconds every some minutes

I just had a stupid moment and upgraded from Firefox 22 to 30 yesterday. I know every version adds problems and removes features, but I wanted check what is the current status.
Now, Firefox 30 freezes flash games for some seconds every some minutes. Of course, with the 22 this never happened.
The computer is identical, only Firefox is changed.
Considering the level of the answers here, I in advance say:
    * no there are no viruses or malwares - I said only Firefox is changed
    * yes I cleared cache cookies and other stuff people say when they do not know what else to say
    * yes flash is the same version
    * I have no theme and the addons are the same of the old version
    * I could care less about safe mode. The old version never saw safe mode and it worked fine
Maybe there is some stupid about config setting for which Firefox want an useless disk access? something new in the version 30 I mean.
Maybe version 30 is become so inefficient that when it updates the cache it freezes totally?
I have last faint hope for some real practical suggestion, for which I thank in advance.
With FF 22 I could play flash games for hours without problems, with v 30 I need to close it every hour otherwise it takes so much RAM (up to 2 GB) it totally hangs. But hey they removed the download window, they say "use an addon". When the RAM is totally out, they say "you have too many addons". Wonder why. Next time we will need an addon for supporting images?

    Hi zzzz1,
This is a really good question. It has been a while since I have tried version 22, but you have mentioned most of the recommended troubleshooting steps including: malware, clearing cache(offline), updating flash, safe mode and no new add ons.
I wonder if the new version has different system requirements.
    [https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/22.0/system-requirements/ version 22][https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/30.0/system-requirements/ version 30]- No.
There are add ons that optimize cache size and block flash content, as well as Ad block plus which blocks some scripts running in the browser. These could minimize the 2GB of Ram.
In all practicality, have you tried reinstalling Flash or clearing the actual flash cache. This may mess with online game storage though, so maybe not.
Have you tried a new profile? [[Using Multiple Profiles]]

  • Game Freezing. Hardware Problem?

I have a problem that someone may be able to help me with.
    My Specs:
    MSI P45 Platinum
    Intel E7400 2.8Ghz
    MSI R4650 1GB
    2GB RAM
I have bought Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and every now and again it freezes and all that I can do is restart. This has also happened in other games and is rather frustrating when you have almost completed something.
I have a suspicion that it is a hardware problem because I have Dual Core Center and it tells me that my FSB is 134Mhz, my Vcore is at 1.24V and the numbers are purple. I'm guessing purple means that it is not normal and my FSB didn't used to be that low. I have tried changing both of them but it just crashes my PC and I have to restart. I have little knowledge of overclocking so I have little idea of what I'm doing  . If you could help that would be great. Thanks

Your mem V couldn't have been too high. Kingston's 1066 max rating on that mem is at 2,2V. Your memory's JEDEC standard's should include the DDR2-800 at 1,8V. This you have never confirmed, as we requested you previously to supply your CPU-Z SPD tab screenshot. Thus your memory can operate safely according to the manufacturer at 1,8~2,2V.
Safely does not necessarily mean stable.
Almost any (high quality) DDR2-800 chip with a heat spreader is able to operate at 2.1-2.2V
Now a less known thing: if you raise the voltage above 1.9V, they tend to run faster (and they become unstable at 800MHz).
Above 2.0V, you have two options:
    1) to change the FSB/DRAM multiplier and to make them run faster (5-5-5-15 at 933-1066MHz)
    2) to lower the timings (4-4-4-12 at 800MHz) and to make them with faster access.
Both operations are faulty, because you'll get 2 cents performance boost and 200 bucks troubles.
Now coming back to DDR2-800 chips, the best match is a voltage of 1.85 (anything between 1.80 and 1.90).
    p.s.
The above statements are also true for DDR3 and 1.5V

  • Is my game freezing a mb problem?

Ok, I'm still trying to figure this one out.  I am having trouble with Battlefield Vietnam freezing on me.  No other game does this.  I have downloaded updates for everything else except my mb.  I have tried posting on their tech site, but I think you guys may know more about my situation.
I have not downloaded any of the drivers or BIOS other than what came with the Neo. My system specs are:
    Antec "true 480"
    Athlon 64 3400+
    MSI Neo Platinum
    Corsair 1gb 3200XLPT
    Radeon X800XT PE
    WD 74gb Raptor
    Audigy 2 ZS
    Lite-On CD/RW
    Sony DVD
    Mitsubishi 19" DP 930SB
People have said numerous, yet unsuccessful, ways to correct the freezing troubles that I am having.  Could my problem be fixed my downloading something from the MSI website?  If so, what?

  • Msi GP70 2PE Leopard WoW lag

    Hello!
I have problem when i play World Of Warcraft my game sometime lag for 1-2seconds. I have optimazed my game in NVIDIA Geforce, i have latest updates for NVIDIA. I am playing also GTAV, and there is no lags at all, only on WoW, what is the problem?

Playing wow require more cpu usage . The sound that you meant could be the fan speed increasing due to rising temperature of cpu . You can check connection stability , power supply ,hybrid power setting been turned off when playing high-loading game or not .If the problem exists, you can try to lower the gaming performance .

  • GP70 2PE Leopard WiFi drops

    Hello
I've been having WiFi drops with this laptop at random intervals. It is probably an issue with the WiFi drivers. Is there any post about this issue already, that states the correct drivers to fix this problem?
    Regards,
    Niels

Hey, I've used the manual to improve/stabilize my internet connection. There still are some small drops in the connection and sometimes it is completely gone, turning on and off the WiFi on this laptop instantly restores the connection.
The router I am using is this one:

  • GP70 2PE Leopard

Hi, when I play Starcraft 2 my CPU temperature spikes up to 70-80 degrees Celsius. I'm just wondering if that is considered high? I use MSI Dragon Gaming Center to check the temperature. If it is high, what is an easy solution to this? Thanks!

  • MSI GP70 2PE Leopard-Fan Noice

    Hello
Just got this computer and the first thing I notice is the fan is really loud.
I have updated the bios and all the drivers, still when I start the PC the fan is really active from the start.
My older Asus PC with the older Intel I7 and nvidia 640m is more quiet....
Is this a Bios problem that MSI will fix????
    Please help......

The best thing I can say to do is contact MSI Support.
    >>How to contact MSI.<<
It might be an issue with the EC firmware, or it could just be inherent to that machine since it is meant to be a slim model, which means less cooling capacity and would probably have to spin up the fan more often to keep things stable. Although if it is as loud as you claim it is, I kind of doubt that is the issue.
