GPO's not getting applied

I have created a GPO to allow offer remote assistance. but I'm failing to get it work.Please help. I tried registering and recovering the logs but it also failed..

Username and password do not get applied to WS Invocations in PS3 project

I am running into a situation where username and password do not get applied to WS Invocations in PS3 project I am deploying using config plan, this is used to work correctly in PS2. Did the syntax for the deployment configuration plans for PS3 BPM have changed?
This is the error that I am getting from the BPM soa_server.log file:

I enabled ws logging for incoming and outgoing P6 web service requests, I see that the BPM server is not making an outgoing webservice call, looking more into the log file from soa_server.log I see that the exception is a PolicyEnforcementException confirming my suspicion that the username and password from the deployment config plan are not getting applied at runtime. This is used to work correctly in PS2. Any suggestions?

We should take a look at the log files to see what's really going on but if you haven't done anything with the installation yet then "reinstalling" is very easy.
In the directory where you launched the jar file, you should find a directory named "crx-quickstart". Simply rename this directory to "crx-quickstart.old" and restart the jar file. Your new environment will be ready in a couple of minutes. Keep the old directory and look into the [your directory]\crx-quickstart\logs directory for details on your original problem.

Added explicit matrixChanged and displayObjectChanged flags to GraphicElement so we can reliably track changes to those items. Changed commitXY() to set the x and y properties directly on the display object rather than indirectly through the matrix. Setting through the matrix caused any non-rotation or scale transform to be lost.

the problem is that the internal dtd should get applied and the parsing should throw an erroe which it is not doing the Domparser is parsing the xml file successfully ..

i concluded that the dtd is not getting applied because the parsing does not throw any error even when the XML does not follow the rules in the inline DTD ...

GPO's not always applying

We have a Windows 2008 AD environment with Window 7 clients. Just recently we have noticed that some GPO’s are not always applying to our clients. For testing purposes I created a test OU and GPO (adding a printer). I find that the GPO
usually applies upon login for local admin users but not always of non-admin accounts. If I unlink the test GPO, again the outcome is sporadic. When running gpresult from my clients it ALWAYS displays the correct GPO’s being applied. Any
help is greatly appreciated.

How are you deploying the printer? If you are using Preferences, check the Application log for printer errors.

Help!! uploaded files in the application is not getting applied

Hi all,
I have 2 css file, 1 image file and 3 javascript files uploaded.
once when i clear the browser cache and start the application it works fine.
ie all files are getting applied in the application.
then when the page is refreshed in the middle of the application by clicking a button (ie i have search report, by clicking a button according to the data in the form, report will get displayed).
can any one please help me? I really need to get this work.

My point is that if you didn't resolve the problem you were working in the other thread (and getting help from others there and keeping them informed of your progress there) then it's a bad thing to abandon that thread and mislead those who were following it.
I suggest you announce that this thread is a mistake and resume work in the other thread.
That way all the resources will be applied in a central place.

Local Security Policies not getting applied

Hi,
We have a Windows 2012 Server which is added to Domain. We have requirement for applying some security settings on the servers. We do not want to use Group Policies for the same as we have different server in different OU's.
We have applied the policies using gpedit.msc by going to Computer Configuration/Windows Settings/Security Settings/Local Policies
But once we run rsop.msc the settings are showing as not defined.
I tried running gpupdate /force and rebooting but no use.
Also there are some settings which are configured in Security Options but we want to change those to not defined. There is no option for the same, its only enable or disable.

I have done some tests, and getting the exact same results as yours.
It looks like settings configured within the Winning GPOs are dispalyed. For those settings which are not configured from any higher level scope, local group policy settings can be applied then.

Billing Block 06 not getting applied

Hi Friends,
When i am creating a sales order, even though the net value is 0 the system is not applying the Price incomplete Billing block.
The 06 block is defined in OVV3 and has been assigned to the Billing document type F2. Is there any other settings which i need to check?

Hi Arun
TO set a billing block in sale order, you have two options
- Set the block manually or
- automatically
To propose the billing block automatically in the sales order, you have to maintain billing block in VOV8 (sale doc type customisation - biling block).
Here, whenever you creat a sales order of above type, you will get the block by default, like in Credit memo request & debit memo request.
TO propose a billing block based on certain conditions, like you mentioned before (price condition), you need to use the user exit.
You need to maintain the logic, saying if the price is incomplete set x block.

Windows Server 2012 Group Policy Block USB Storage devices @ User Level Not getting applied on a Domain Client machine with Windows Server 2008 R2. Why?

Hello,
I have a Windows Server 2012 R2.
I have configured the Group Policy on it to block the usage of USB - Storage Devices @ user level on the client machines. It works properly for my Windows 7 client machines but it's not working on one of the machine having Windows Server 2008 R2 installed
on it (this machine is also a domain client in the same domain).
I will really be thankful if anyone can suggest some solution to this issue.
Please feel free to write back in-case I have missed anything obvious to be shared.

Last Aggregation Method not getting applied for Time hierarchy(Y, Q & M)

OBIEE: 11.1.1.6.2
In my application there is a measure (closing balance) that we wish pick as LAST when ever we associate this measure to time hierarchy. In order to achieve this configuration we have set the Aggregation method as:
Logical Column Window > Aggregation tab > Based on Dimensions (checked) > Under Logical Dimension
Other: SUM(Measure)
Time Hierarchy: LAST(Measure)
Now what happens is that when we see this measure against the time hierarchy the the LAST value is not picked up, Example:
Time-Hierarchy:
2008
2008-Q4
Oct-2008
Nov-2008
Dec-2008
What's happening is, instead of picking the Dec-2008 value, the 2008-Q4 value is displayed as Oct-2008 value. Which means that OBIEE is sorting the months under the Quarter node in alphabetical order (D, N & O) and then picking the LAST value as 'Oct-2008'.
Kindly suggest what can be done to pick the right node value of Dec-2008.

in which level u put the week,month, year hirarchy.chckthe session query weather it is doing any filter or order by

Release Procedure for PO not getting applied

Dear All,
I have created a Release procedure for PO, for the field - Order Type. I have defined & followed all the steps i.e., Characteristic, Class, Rel. Groups, Rel. Codes, Rel. indicator & Rel. strategy.
Then i go to CL20N and assign object to class.
But when i create a PO & try to release it in ME29N it says 'Purchasing Doc. cannot be released"
The same release procedure was working fine few days back.
Kindly let me know if i have missed out some steps or someother settings need to be made.

any settings to be checked in characteristics ?
Hey, and one more thing... everytime I exceute ME28 or ME29n, and later when i try to open Class...... i get an error message "Class type 032: Class <class name> being processed by <username>"
Then i have to go and delete in the locked entries, only then I can see the Class.

Header data not getting updated in line item level

Hi,
We are trying to update Pricing date at header level but it is not gettting copied to item level.
getting an message "The header business data does not apply to item xxxx"
i have checked the item category and "business item" field is checked. and for the same sales order previously we were able to change the pricing date at header level and it got applied to item level but this time is is not getting applied.
kindly suggest.

If there are multiple line items which are having different data; in your case, Pricing Date, then in that case, when you try to change at header level, system will pop up this message.

How to identify if modifiers are getting applied

I am trying to define a modifer (Discount List), say Mod2, that needs to be applied only under certain conditions.
I already have another existing modifier (Discount List), say Mod1, which returns the discount% using a Dynamic formula.
The requirement is that the modifier Mod2 should apply only when Mod1 is not getting applied, or is getting applied with a discount% of 0.
My question is how can I define a qualifier for the modifier Mod2?
Is there a way for me to write custom code to see if the modifier Mo1 is getting applied, and with a discount% > 0 ? If so, what tables could I check? I tried setting up a qualifier which calls a custom pl/sql package wherein I retrieved values from qp_preq_lines_tmp, but there is no pertinent information in there.
Any help is appreciated.

I wish it was as simple as that !!
The catch is that I dont want to apply Mod2 when Mod1 gets applied with a discount% > 0. I do have lots of scenarios where Mod1 gets applied with a discount% of 0. The Mod1 discount value is derived via a dynamic formula, so it always returns a value, and I dont know how to suppress the application of the modifier if the value returned by the formula is zero. So it will always get applied. Question is, how do I get Mod2 (which by the way is a Freight and Special Charge, not Discount List - sorry for the confusion), to not apply when Mod1 discount% is > 0.
