I have blackberry 9320. Just deactivated BBM plan and activated GPRS. But not able to use Facebook and my mail box. All other apps are running fine, like what's app and blackberry world. Please suggest what is the issue.

Confirm with Vodafone that you do indeed have the BIS BlackBerry data plan on your mobile account. You must have that.

  • GPRS not working on iphone 3G

GPRS is not working on my iphone 3G. All subscriber settings are on their place. Even the Edge "E" symbol shows up all the time but still I'm unable to use gprs on my phone. The error message I'm getting is "it is not connected to the internet". Please help.

The thing is that you can't update because apple stopped the update on iphone 3G to 4.2.1,so as the whatsup asks you to update to 4.3 you can't in no way,and jailbreak won't help at all. The o my option is a compatible version of whatsapp to iphone 3G.
I'm still waiting their support centre to reply. As soon as I know something I'll post it here.
I advise you write them as well,in this manner they'll see that there are people that care about having whatsapp on their Iphone 3g.

Try resetting network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Netwrok Settings.

  • After full system update ppp does not work anymore

    Well, I have this problem:
    1) I install Arch Linux from the latest Core
    2) I manually install the latest versions of wvdial and its dependences (xplc and wvstreams). This is an offline installation (because I can't set up internet without wvdial. So I save these packages on USB drive, and there I lanch pacman -U *.pkg.tar.gz)
    3) I set up my GPRS internet connection (I use a mobile phone)
Everything works well (i.e.: I can ping google without problem).
Problems arise if I decide to update my system. In this case, indeed, after updating and rebooting, my connection doesn't work no more. Everything works fine until I update. After update, I can say hello to my ppp.
Then, I add some some details.
These are the last lines of messages.log after a successful connection (i.e.: before the full update of my system)
    pl2303 4-2:1.0: pl2303 converter detected
    usb 4.2: pl2303 now attached to ttyUSB0
usbcore: registered new interface driver pl2303

    PPP BSD compression module registered
    PPP deflate compression module registered
    local IP address ...

    secondary DNS address ...
The last lines of messages.log after the update are:
    pl2303 4-2:1.0: pl2303 converter detected
    usb 4.2: pl2303 now attached to ttyUSB0
usbcore: registered new interface driver pl2303

    PPP generic driver version 2.4.2
    NET: registered protocol family 10
    lo: disabled privacy extensions
pppd 2.4.5 started by root, uid 0
As you can see, it's seems there are problems in "using ppp0 interface". Indeed, pppd starts, but ppp0 interface not. I can also add that ifconfig ppp0 up and similar commands do not work (ppp0: no such device, or something like that).
    So, what can I do?

I don't use ppp so this is just a guess.  However, after a recent upgrade I saw a message from pacman:
    [2010-02-14 09:07] >>> The kernel-mode plugin has a new place.
    [2010-02-14 09:07] >>> It's now located under /usr/lib/rp-pppoe/rp-pppoe.so
    [2010-02-14 09:07] >>> Change LINUX_PLUGIN to the new path in your /etc/ppp/pppoe.conf
    [2010-02-14 09:07] upgraded rp-pppoe (3.10-2 -> 3.10-4)
    Could this be the problem?

  • Internet on Treo Pro (GSM) not working

If I want to access the internet to browse webpages on my Treo Pro, I do not get anything while connecting through GPRS. When connected through Wifi it does work. I think it is not the internetconnection itself since I do receive my e-mails through GPRS; it does connect without problem. However, while browsing the internet internet explorer hangs while trying to find a webpage. What can be wrong?
Post relates to: Treo Pro T850U (Unlocked)

I'm having the same problem and have asked for a new phone.  I worked with tech support with Bell, did hard resets twice and they even took me off their system and put me back on ... all to no avail.  The internet is not working.  If my Treo Pro is sitting on the cradle, connected to my PC, the internet works fine, but when I take it off, an error message says, "Cannot Connect: Cannot connect wth the current connection settings.  To change your connection settings, tap Settings." The tech people told me to go to settings and manage "My Work Network / Manage Existing Connections."  There, all I do is make sure the number is #777 and that's all.  After a hard reset, it clears this connection setting.  So I can still not connect to the internet unless it's connected to the PC via the USB cable / cradle.  Something else must be set up wrong.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Ovi store not working on my nokia E7-00

i bought a new nokia E7-00 but the problem is my ovi store is not working.its written could not connect or service not available...plz help me what to do..m from pakistan. thanks

    Hi bouzrib
Thank you for posting and welcome to Nokia Support Discussions!
    1. Make sure that the phone runs the latest software version. You can use Nokia Suite to check if there's software update available for your phone, refer to this link: http://www.nokia.com/global/support/software-update/belle-asha-symbian-software-update/
    2. Check the network quality. If the connection is poor the Store application or downloading applications may not work correctly.
Try to use alternate connection types such as WLAN, 3G or GPRS/EDGE. If there is still issues with network coverage, you must contact the network operator for assistance.
    3. Clear the cached memory on the phone
     Go to the device Menu
    Select Web
    Choose Options -> choose Settings
    Click on Privacy data
Choose Clear Privacy data -> Choose Cache.
    4. Uninstall and reinstall your Nokia Store application. for Symbian^3 devices can be downloaded also from http://lr.ovi.mobi/store/new-symbian-3 directly to phone or download the package to your PC and install it via Nokia Suite.
If my post helped you, please don't forget to click on the "White Star" and if it resolved your issue click on "Accept as Solution"

  • My T-Mobile Mobile Web not working on MacBookPro

    Yodels.
I have a new T-Mobile Rocket 3.0 4G webstick and it will not work on my 13" MacBookPro running Snow Leopard 10.6.8
When I start the software up, it seems to stall, run, stall, run, and then I have to force quit. When I go to Preferences, it says it's connected to the interent with an IPv4 address using DCHP. However, using any browser, I get a error message stating server not found.
Talked with t-mo and they say it's a compatibility issue with my OS and that I need to take it to the Apple store to fix the problem. They say this as I am connected with the internet and they've pinged my computer. I get text messages, but that may just be using the carrie signal, not the 4G.
I am wondering if anyone here has actually had the issue and what were the fixes.
    Notes:
All my software is up to date:
         The T-Mobile WebConnect
Firmware in the Rocket 3.0 4G updated
Mac OSX fully updated including Java
Turned off Firewall, including "Stealth Mode," to see if that was issue.
Have 4G with 4 bars of signal
No other apps but the Webconnect and Firefox
Thanks in advance for the help.

    Hi Jesusv87,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.  This article has some steps you can take for issues sending and receiving MMS messages:
    iOS: Troubleshooting Messages
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts2755
If you still can't send or receive MMS messages
To send and receive MMS messages on your iPhone, verify that your wireless carrier supports MMS2.
Ensure that MMS Messaging is turned on in Settings > Messages.
Verify that your phone is able to access cellular data.
Some carriers allow you to edit your APN (Access Point Name), which may prevent MMS from working.
If you are roaming outside your calling area, make sure you have Data Roaming turned on in Settings > General > Cellular to send or receive MMS content.
While on a phone call, you will be unable to send or receive MMS messages when using an EDGE, GPRS, or any CDMA cellular data network. After the phone call ends, you will receive any incoming messages. If you tried to send an MMS message, you may need to send it again.
If the issue persists and your wireless carrier has confirmed that your wireless account is provisioned2 for MMS, restore the iPhone.
If this doesn't help, please reply with any steps you are unable to complete and any additional information such as exact error messages or strange behavior.
    Cheers,

  • C3-00 Mail is not working with Wifi

I have Nokia C3-00, Its good set but the problem appeared when i tried to use my office Wifi connection in my mobile. Email and communities are not working with Wifi while messenger and browsing is very good with Wifi. However i have used Mail option (gmail, hotmail, yahoo) with my mobile GPRS connection that is working fine but not with Wifi. GPRS is very costly and i want to use office Wifi with my mobile to use email application. Please help me out. Thanks Adnan

There was an issue with messaging in the original software on the C3, so make sure that you are up-to-date. To check your software version try *#0000#
Latest software release for Nokia C3-00 is 08.63
Your service provider may not have the latest nokia version available, but make sure you have the most recent you can get.

  • HT204065 Group text with one non iPhone not working on iPhone 6 in the group.

Group text with one non iPhone not working on one iPhone 6 in group. SMS, MMS and iMessage as well as group messaging are all turned on. Has worked intermittently but now cannot see or respond in that particular chain. Can send independently to the non iPhone (Samsung) but not in group. Other iPhone 6 and 5 in group work fine.

The reason why you have to turn off 3Gs is because T-Mobile does not support iPhones 1700 something or other. You have to turn off the 3Gs on the iPhone to make it work.
As already provided, it shouldn't matter since the iPhone is designed to automatically connect to the fastest internet connection available. If wi-fi access and 3G network access is on, when in range of an available wi-fi network you have access to and have connected your iPhone with previously, the iPhone will connect to the wi-fi network automatically. When leaving the range of the wi-fi network, the iPhone will connect to the 3G network if 3G network access is available. If 3G network access is not available, the iPhone will connect to EDGE or GPRS - whichever is available at the time.
If this is unique to T-Mobile's network with the iPhone for some reason since T-Mobile is not an official carrier for the iPhone in the U.S. and you were instructed by T-Mobile to do so, then you need to do so.
If this is not working now, the problem lies with T-Mobile and I have no idea what to tell them for them to recognize where the problem lies on their end.

    MMS Max Message Size: 1048576
