GR and IR without GR/IR account posting
Hi,
I noticed in my system that there are some GR (WE) and IR (RE) documents posted in reference to PO, which do not have the GR/IR account in the line items.
There are not many such cases, but I am struggling to understand why some documents are missing this entry. I thought that GR/IR posting would be forced by SAP thanks to OBYC-WRX settings.
If you know any explanation why GR/IR account sometimes is not posted to in GR or IR, please let me know as I don't understand its logic now.

I also thought that they were manual entries in FB* t-codes but I checked the header and the transaction used for RE is MIRO. I think it often appears in MIRO credit memos - cancelations of invoice receipt. I still think that GR/IR should be there, am I right?
For WE it was a document posted with MIGO. I noticed that the standard price of material was '0' (master data error) so everything went to PPV account, but still I think that GR/IR should be there.

How can I sync email, contacts and calendar between computers and phones without a mobileme account?
I recently added a macbook pro, ipad and imac to my work accounts and I'd like to be able to sync all of them together. I believe the POP server that my company is using (small start-up) does not support this. Basically, if I read email on the laptop, it does not show as read on the imac or my iphone. If I send a message from one, it does not show up on the other devices.
I figure there has to be a solution - it's driving me crazy basically having email in 3 different locations and none of it matches.
Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.I have found that syncing my contacts then un-syncing them results in my current contacts retaining all the info and picture from Facebook. I just don't have the Facebook updates, which I'm happier about anyway.

Blocking the posting to an account that is creted without an alt. account
if an account is created without any alternative account, any posting should be blocked by the system (currently it is possible to post on accounts having no alternative account) . Please suggest the needful

I once had a customer who checked the alternative account number (for a set of comp. codes where an alternative acount number is mandatory) when the account master data was created/changed (guess it was a modification).
So the process was 1: create the alternative account number 2. create the acount number in the comp. code and assign the alternative account number before saving the changes.
The advantage is that there cannot be a posting to account numbers without alternative account assigned in account master data, so people doing the posting stuff (often different from the ones responsible for account master data) are not blocked when a validation message (like discussed above) appears.

AP and Expenses without Accounting Entry Template
Hello,
Is there a way to use AP and Travel and Expense without setting up an accounting entry template?
This templates asks 35 accounts but more then half of them are for functionality taht we won't use so we don't really see the point in setting it up...
In case we have to set it up, is there an explenation somewhere of which account in the list is used for which functionality? The 'fundamentals' PeopleBook doesn't seem to provide us with a lot of info.

Make the VAT condition statistical and post the G/L using the accrual key concept.
Here it is not necessary the Customer G/L should hit.

I have an iPad and an iPhone that share an iCloud account. I didn't realize when I got my iPad last year that when I signed up the iCloud on the device that it would share and use 5g of iCloud between the both of them. How do I unsync them and have two separate iCloud accounts? I don't care about sharing between them. When my kids put games on my iPad, I don't want them going on my phone. How do I create a new iCloud without losing any info on the other device?

When I first purchased my iphone I set up my own apple account now my husband has one and it's under my account can he create is own account without loosing any data. The same goes with our ipads. TY
A much simpler solution would be to go into Settings > Store and turn off Automatic Downloads

When I did the latest update, my phone was wiped out completely. My laptop that I had everything on, crashed. I have a new laptop, tried to update on it and of course I couldn't without deauthorizing my account then reauthorizing. I need help! I want my ringtones and picturesd back, and can't get them. Does anyone know how to do this given my situation?

Why would you not be able to use your existing Apple ID and iTunes account on a new laptop? If you authorized the computer - you should be able to use your existing account - unless you already had 5 computers authorized with the existing ID - and that was why iTunes would not accept the ID. However, I'm sure that you would have received a popup message from iTunes telling you that you had reached the limit.
I just received a new MBP and my daughter did as well. My entire family shares an Apple ID and we had no issues at all with my Apple ID and iTunes on our new computers and I did not have to sign up for a new account. Did you even try the old ID? -

My wife and I share an iTunes account. Is there any way to set up a seperate one for her to sync her phone contacts, iCloud and music to without having to purchase all her music again and then share going forward?
It would be so much easier having seperate accounts but we have hundreds of her purchased songs on my account and she would need to be able to access these from her account. Possible?
Also, if we bought a song in future we would want to be able to both have access to it.
Alternatively, what is the easy way to sync two distinctly different contact lists to one iTunes account?

You can but you will not be able to limit what she syncs.
I would like to avoid 'checking' and 'unchecking' individual songs every time one of us tries to synch our ipods to the library.
I don't recommend using (only) the checkmarks to select what to sync.
Each of you can create your own playlists then sync only those playlists.
Then add/delete from your own playlists to change iPod content.
The only time I uncheck items is if I rarely/never want to sync them to anything, such as Christmas music or old audiobooks.
I suggest you each have your own computer login account. Then everyone has their own contacts, calendars, and everything else.
You and your husband can share an iTunes library and let your daughter have her own. -
Can I share contacts and notes between two iCloud accounts without sending every contact/note?
My wife and I have been sharing my iCloud account which is very convenient because we automatically get the same calendar, contacts and notes on our devices. If I were to put her on a separate iCloud account, can we automatically share our contacts and notes without having to send every single one every time a change is made? I understand that the calendars can be shared fairly easily with family sharing but the others may be more problematic.

Thanks for the reply. That's how I set it up originally. Although the new iOS 7 update lost some functionality. I found the following on the TUAW website. The Safari Bookmarks and Find My Phone options have been removed from the secondary iCloud accounts options. This is the problem. Everything worked great before we updated. I guess "new way" consolidates the iCloud accounts better with Maverick? Now I will have extra documents on my phone that I don't need. We will both have to share the same iCloud storage and backup space too. Have to try it out and see how it works. Thanks.

i think things would have been better without this icloud mess......
someone help me like it again.
1). i have more than 1 account set up with icloud. so i deleted 1 account from the settings on my iphone to try and switch to the other account and everything became a huge mess. (on my iphone i LOST some of my contacts, all of my reminders are gone, and nothing is showing up on the ical on my iphone, and only some notes are showing).......
2). everything is still shown on my macbook pro.... but when i tired to go and sync it..... nothing is transfering to my phone........
3). when i log into the 2 icloud accounts i have with icloud(.com) nothing is showing up in there also......
whats is going on..... this is a huge mess for me. i want to go back the way is was like 1-2 years ago. when you can just sync things from the computer to the phone and not have to go through icloud....... ive been struggling with icloud but today just me hate it to the max.

im not sure what you mean by you second statement. when i open those application on my macbook its on my macbook but when i sign into icloud. i have those option selected.
maybe my problem is im using the wrong ID...... lol.
