Gr based Iv in Imports po

Hi Experts,
My Issue is In imports po total qty is 9000 say and total price is 58000 say. Now what i am getting problem is While making Gr the system is showing the bed value for total qty. Where as we have recd only 2000 qty. So system should show only bed value for 2000 qty.
Our sequence is like this
Created Imports po with imports doc type
Made Gr for 2000 qty with 105 mov type.
Gr absed iv is checked in Imports po. Please go thru this scenario and help me.

We have two different items in the Purchase order. One item is created with total 9000 qty and other is created with some x qty.
As you know in migo doc we can see item wise bed details, Now in Migo 105 document its showing the first item total bed value instead of showing for 2000 qty.

What folder structure?
If you're referring to how Aperture stores the originals in a managed library then the answer is you can't change it.
If having the originals stored in a specific file structure is important to you you will need to switch to a referenced original setup.

Invoice verification with GR based IV for import PO

Hi all,
Kind advice required here.
We have an import PO where the vendor in VMR has the GR based IV indicator disabled which enables us paying up the custom duty IV.
Now we receive the goods in partial quantities and there are several GRs for the P.O.But whenever we go in for the IV of the GRs the system is accumulating the GR quantity and giving a single figure & quantity (due to that indicator in VMR ).
Is there any way by which we can make the IV on GRN basis?
Because it is requiring manual entries at the time of IV.

If you create invoice verification against good receipt system give error "Invoice Quantity is greater than good receipt quantity".
So please check Subsequent Debit in MIRO against good receipt.

System copy based on export/import on MSCS

Hi,
a NW 7.0 istance (BW usage) on MSCS... we would like to copy to new host (as dev refresh). This MSCS is made of:
- host1 (first node)
- host2 (second node)
- mscdhost (mscs virtual host)
- orahost (oracle virtualhost... on a dedicated group)
- saphost (sap virtual host on a dedicate group)
Central istance is installed on host1 and a dialog istance is installed on host2.
So for the export I run sapinst (Software Life-Cycle OptionsSystem Copy / Oracle / Source System / Distributed System / High-Availability System / Based on ABAP and Java):
Preparation as: sapinst.exe SAPINST_USE_HOSTNAME=orahost
Table splitting as: sapinst.exe SAPINST_USE_HOSTNAME=orahost
Db Export as: sapinst.exe SAPINST_USE_HOSTNAME=orahost
Central Istance as: sapinst.exe SAPINST_USE_HOSTNAME=host1
Is it OK?

You mentioned the idea of setting up multiple collections where each would have its own preset. So lets talk about a possible workflow scenario in order to help me understand whether I comprehend the functionality of what this plugin could do.
Lets say I have 3 Collections with each having one preset assigned.
Is it possible ->
Workflow A
That after I import photos and then assign into Collection 1, CollectionPreseter will assign the defined preset on Collection 1.
Once applied, does the ability exist to then move the pictures from Collection 1 into Collection 2 (while keeping Collection 1 preset) to apply it's preset and then lastly Moving the pictures from Collection 2 (while keeping Preset 1 and 2) into Collection 3 to apply its preset? with Final Export.
OR
Workflow B
Would the flow have to be something like this based on above:
Import and place into Collection 1 (preset 1 is applied). Export and Save
Reimport and place into Collection 2 (preset 2 is applied). Export and Save.
Reimport and place into Collection 3 (preset 3 is applied). Export and Save Final.?
The other that I have not raised is what about droplets (actions) with Photoshop CS? Are multiple droplets able to be applied and ran in a batch if I integrated with CS that way?

its seems so easy now
maybe I've been blind to this option before on 10.1.1
simply dragging from the desktop or its source a clip to the story/ timeline itself not having to use file> import media
which is a lot of steps IMHO
i notice when i do it also enters the library above where clips are seen and read to be dragged on the story line
so
is this incorrect ?

By dragging it into the timeline you're importing it based on your import preferences. Great for single clips.

DTW Import Business Partner

I'm a newbie. Now that's out of the way.
Can anyone tell me in general, how does one determine what are the required fields and data types for a DTW destination? This ETL tool is very different from any I've ever used before in that the destination fields in the interface change based on the import data provided. I'm used to those being constant, with required fields and their datatypes clearly defined.
Currently I am trying to import Business Partners, all customers via ODBC. I provided data for the following BP fields:
RecordKey                 1
CardCode                  '1001'
CardName                  'Company One'
CardType                  'cCustomer'
DefaultAccount           '_SYS00000001'
GroupCode                 2
PayTermsGrpCode      3
The error log tells me all of my records fail for the following reason: [OCRD:BankCode]Application-defined or object-defined error oBusinessPartners.
I assumed the required bank info had to do with with where I deposit payments from these customers. So I mapped data for BPBankAccounts. Every record is the same except for the RecordKey.
RecordKey    AccountNo    BankCode
1                   123              'My Bank'
2                   123              'My Bank'
Now The records load, but I've got bank info on the Payment Terms tab, not the Payment System tab. So my fix made my error go away, but the data are wrong. I don't want to have to import fake customer bank data just to get around this error. What does DTW really want?

I've since discovered my real problem with DTW is that the error messages are frequently spurious. I don't know if this is a bigger problem because I am using ODBC rather than flat files.
I was only dragging in banking info because I had received the error message ' [OCRD.BankCode]Application-defined or object-defined error65171'. After I rebooted, I din't get this error any more and could load BPs without any banking info at all.
Likewise, I was having trouble with addresses and was receiving messages like
'[OCRD.State2] , 'The connected value 'MI' was not found in table States'Application-defined or object-defined erroroBusinessPartners'. This was a US customer. I am in the US and this IS a defined state.
What I've learned from this expereince is not to trust DTW error messages.

Can R3load skip some tables during import?

We use DB-independent method to export/import SAP DB.
Now the export is done by R3load.
We want to exclude some tables in the import.
I know that R3load has an option "-o T" to skip tables.
However, we need to know
1) the exact syntax to put into export_monitor_cmd.properties
2) still need the table structures to be imported even no data is wanted.

BIAR IMPORT UTILITY ERROR

I'm an Oracle DBA and VERY new to BOE and Data Integrator.
Have a VMWare setup. Win 2003 Std edition OS set with 1.5 GB RAM hosted on Windows Vista Business laptop with 3.5 GB RAM and 2.2 GHz processor.
Have Oracle 10.2.0.3 Enterprise Edition
BOE XI R3
BODI XI R3 with the 11.7.2.3 hotfix applied
On import of BIAR file receive an error message
failed to open the BIAR file failed to load class com/blah blah blah sdk
Also I receive a similar Java error message with running the BODI MetaData Integrator
Seems that the software is not loading the correct Java libraries. In the case of metadata issue, the cmsCollector.cmd script sets the JAVA_HOME variable.
The Java SDK was loaded with the BOE install.

I'm having a bit of a hard time envisioning where the error occurs exactly. I assume that you're using the Import Wizard to process the biar file?
A couple of bits that might shed light around the problem - in XIR2, the import wizard was a native fat application, and not java based, so the import wizard itself shouldn't be throwing any errors about loading the classes. Not sure if this has changed for XI 3 though. The biar file is essentially an archive, you can rename the extension to .zip and open using winzip to see if it's valid. If you can't open the archive, it could be corrupt. Try another biar file.
More likely is that the CMS or another component such as the File input server is throwing the error. If you run a -trace on each of those processes, it may show more detailed information about the problem. Also, you'll probably want to make sure that you're running on a stable and supported Java version. If you have several different versions it's possible that the wrong JRE is getting used. How is the rest of infoview working? Do you have problems opening reports in infoview? Exporting from Deski or Designer to the CMS?
I'm afraid that I can't comment about the DI Metadata integrator error.

Where to build blog, based on these parameters

It's been a long journey with lots of reading and experimenting.
The setting: I build my site in iWeb, Publish to Folder, add tags in iWeb SEO Tool, and FTP to GoDaddy.
SEO is very important to me, though I haven't implemented everything on my to-do list yet.
For me, starting a blog is mostly about SEO, and driving potential clients to my GoDaddy-hosted website, which is here: http://www.keithraygor.com
I started with a blog in iWeb and was swayed away by reports of sluggish behavior and lack of certain features.
Notes on iWeb blog:
I loved the design and the process.
Comments and search are not important to me.
Posting from a browser is not important to me, as most posts will be planned out, and I won't be needing to do it while away. (If if I really do need to post from the road, I'd bring a flash drive with the domain on it).
I've become adept at FTP'ing only updated pages, and can continue to do this with blog posts if needed.
I'm not afraid of losing everything, as I backup daily to several locations.
Is the sluggish behavior noted by others only if the blog is hosted on MobileMe? If so, then maybe continuing to build the blog in iWeb will allow me SEO benefits, especially that of having the content directly attached to my website. If sluggish behavior is because of iWeb code, then I can see where I'd have problems.
Because of the posts about iWeb's blog, and based on recommendations, I started a blog on Wordpress yesterday, which is here: http://magickeith.wordpress.com/
I got it to look somewhat similar to my iWeb blog, and am happy with the results.
Only AFTER I finished, did a friend inform me that Wordpress.COM will probably not help my SEO efforts due to it not being attached to my website, and sending prospective clients away from my site. Even if I form my own navigation buttons, I would have those problems. So at this point, I'm rather frustrated because of the many hours of trial and error it took to build the blog and to learn a new structure (Wordpress), and spending $59 to get my video onto Wordpress.
My friend suggested Wordpress.ORG, and I understand the difference, and that I can have it integrated and hosted as part of my site on GoDaddy, but the problem is I have neither the time nor the inclination to understand the heady process involved. I know nothing of HTML, CSS, php, SLQ, datebases, etc. I see the advantages, I'm just burnt on the process already, and just can't see myself jumping into a third attempt at building a blog while tackling new languages.
I've also tried Karelia's Sandvox, and am almost tempted to go their Pro route due to their incorporated SEO, but to be honest, I just don't like any of their templates - and I don't think I'd be able to create the look I have already on my website, with their software.
Based on the importance of SEO to my efforts, is my best bet just going back to iWeb, and using their blog page to get the content onto my site and out to people?
Is there a solution that I'm not thinking of?

The iWeb blog is not suitable for serious blogging as it rapidly grows into a huge, sluggish mess.
If you publish it to a commercial server you will lose the comments feature.
Wordpress is used successfully for many commercial blogs and I can't see why you would have any problems with SEO.
As you have realized, the link to the blog would be an external one incorporated in a custom navigation menu. As such, the blog and its pages would be included in the sitemap and would be accessed by the search engine spiders.
The website, iWebforMusicians, is built on nine different domain files and each section is accessed from the main menu through external hyperlinks. The sitemap is created with Rage Sitemap Automator and all the pages are indexed.
The iWeb templates such as blog, podcast, photos and albums tend to hamper SEO. To make iWeb work in a commercial environment, you have to go out of the box a bit and you are on the right track by using an alternative blog. Wordpress is a viable alternative to iWeb for website creation that not many seem to consider. I would be more inclined to use it rather than Sandvox and others for the whole website.
Your Wordpress blog, in my opinion, looks and performs a lot better than the iWeb ones I have struggled through.

R/3 Transaction Iviews vs Imported ABAP Roles on Portal

In one of our requirement, Business needs to set up such that client should be able to have web based access to R/3 Transaction through Portal.
We can achieve that by creating system in portal and create Transaction iview with required T-code of R/3.
Whats wrong if we can define roles in ABAP system for a user with full hierirachy and import those ABAP roles into portals.and through portal we can give unified web based access to imported roles?
Does both the possibilities accomplish our need?what are main gaps between these two methods?
I want to go by Import method,Any suggestions please?

I agree with you that the ABAP role has a complicated menu structure and uploading has to be done at regular basis.
Is there any mechanism through which any change in ABAP role structure in R/3 reflects in portal exactly so that there is no need of regular uploading?
If not?So in which business scenario uploading of ABAP roles into portals are helpful?whats the use?
Coming back to your second solution
It is much easier to have one transaction iView that starts transaction SMEN, which presents the user's full SAP menu in a single screen
But about about a user if he wants to navigate from this transaction SMEN to another transactions to which he is authorised to(R/3 Back-end)through this single Transaction iview.
In other words if we want to have access to 5 transaction iviews in R/3,do we need to create 5 corresponding transaction iviews in portals?How to achieve this requirement in a better way?

How to import the data to Data manager

Hi All,
I am new to MDM and need your help in handling the following issue
In our setup we are sending the Customer master data from R/3->XI->MDM (R/3-> XI IDOCs, XI->MDM XML files).
with the help of extraction job in R/3 IDOCs r generated and XI has onverted these IDOCs to XML Files and created at MDM Server. Now my Question is how to import the Data from these XML files to Data Manager !!!!
Note : Import Map settings are done already in the system.
Can any one help me the steps requeired to get this data to Data manager .
and am I need to do some activity in MDM to import the data to Data manager each and every time or is there any automatic way of doing this .
Please guide me.

Generally there are 2 cases while importing the data,
1) Initial Load
2) Delta Load
Initial Load means importing the data into MDM at first time.This is usually done by manual importing
without using import server.
Delta Load means importing the data into MDM when we have changes to existing data or added new data
to existing data.This is usually done by automatically using import server.
To manually import the data,just create a remote system and port in console and login into import manager
using remote system.Create ,save the map and execute the map.There is no other configurations needed.
To automatically import the data without manual intervention,we go for import server.
To let this happen we need to set some configuarations in mdis.ini file of import server.
Give the repository name,username and password which are set in console for that repository and also
give schedule time based on which import server picks the file from ready folder.
Go to the import manager , change the map and import action depends on your requriment and save that
map.
and also you need to set port type as inbound and automatic and select the map which you saved earlier in
MDM console.
As soon as we start the import server, it picks the file from ready folder of MDM server based on
configurations which we set in mdis.ini file and executes the map.
Here i am giving complete path of ready folder.
SAP MDM 5.5> Server>Distributions>bp1bocap080.bp.co_MSQL> BP3_PoC_Customer> Inbound>Siebel> SIEBEL_OB_CUS_SIEBELCUS01> Ready)
This path has to be given in target directory of receiver communication channel of XI so that it puts XML
file in the above path.

Import multiple files

I have made plugin based on custom importer, now I can import media files using my custom GUI.
But now I'm little bit confused, is it possible to import multiple files using SDK ?
I mean:
1. Chose several clips in my GUI.
2. Click ok and files will be added to project.

Return from imGetInfo8 to indicate that there are more streams
to describe. Premiere will send imGetInfo8 for the next stream.
So, as I understand, imIterateStreams describes just media streams of single file,
but it has no relation how to specify multiple files during import.
Now I'm using imGetPrefs8 selector to specify file path.
Please explain me where I'm wrong.

I am Calling the Adobe form Inside the RFC Function Module, problem i am facing this Importing Parameter /1BCDWB/FORMOUTPUT not filled.
Based on the Importing I need the XSTRING Data
CALL FUNCTION <Function Module name>
         EXPORTING

         IMPORTING

Note:Other Tables are filling in the Function Module.
