Hi
I would like to know how can make the receipt of Goods against the returns ,directly to the Blocked Stock.
right now it is going to return stock. what are the settings required for this.
Regards
AKHi,
You can control this by using the proper movement type.
Movement type is controlled through item category --> schedule line category.
Check your settings in:
SPRO --> SD --> Sales --> Sales Documents --> Schedule lines
- Define Schedule Line Categories
- Assign Schedule Line Categories
(after that of course you have to allow the item category for the SO type, and set the proper item category for the item when creating the return sales order).
Please read SAP online help:

Movement type for Unrestricted to Blocked stock
Can anyone tell the movement type for moving material from unrestricted storage location to Blocked stock for scrapping purpose.??
Also tell if any other way is also there...??
regards
Inder PalDear sasikanth
If I am correct,
321 is for transferring quality to unrestricted and
322 is reversal of 321
which means, unrestricted to quality.
Correct me if I am wrong.
Thanks

Availablity Check which includes Block Stock
Hi All,
I do have a problem with Availability Check.
For a material the Goods Reciept is made directly into Blocked Stock. Due to this the MRP is not considering the availability of the stock and creating the new PO for the old reqirement.
I want to know how we can configure the Availability Check so that it can consider the block stock into consideration during MRP run.
Thanks for the help in advancehi,
To avoid the situation, you need to move the stock to unrestricted use...
Its correct, if we think logically then if there is req. for the material...then you can never use the block stock for the production etc...so, when the MRP runs, it doesnot consider the block stock...
Pls trasfer it to the unrestricted use stock..and then run MRP...
Hope it helps...

Releasing GR Blocked Stock to any unrestricted storage location
We have some stocks in non-valuated GR blocked stock which was posted from Purchase Order with movement type 103
Now, the decision is to dispose the material. We have dedicated scrap location in system. Before disposing physically the material need to be cleared from system under GR blocked stock, even though it does not appear in any storage location in SAP
Our Material Planning suggested that stores shall post release of GR blocked stock with movement type 104 so it will reverse the 103 movement previously, and clear the qty from system. But this in my opinion is against control viewpoint..i.e. stores should not use this way to clear system assigned stock to clear from system
My suggestion was to use the following steps :
1. MIGO>> Release GR blocked stock
2. Put Material Document number (while posting 103), material details, qty, other references will be retrieved automatically
3. The movement type is seen to be default as 105, change it to 910 (Release GR blocked stock for warehouse)
4. Change Stock type from QM inspection to Unrestricted
5. Assign Storage location to desired one (in my case I assigned SCRAP location)
5. Select Item OK indicator to activate
6. Check & Post
Since the item has PO reference, my question to my expert friends is that will the above release from GR blocked stock post qty only to SCRP location or will it post Qty + value ?????
I don't want Value to be posted to the scrap location.
If the above process to move the stock qty (only) from GR Blocked stock to Scrap is success, I can ask accounts to post adjustment to clear scrap qty by 702 movement type.
Thanks, SunilJust set this que is complete so no one will try to open

Stock in MD04 is also considering Blocked stock with Unrestricted Use
Hi PP Gurus,
In MD04, the stock which the system is showing also considers Blocked Stock for Planning means stock= Unrestricted Use Stock + Blocked Stock.
We Dont want blocked stcok to be considered.
We are using 01 availabilty check with PP checking rule.
In OPPJ, the check box for Stock-Include Safety Stock is only Checked.
Can anyone Please explain why the system is considering blocked stock for Planning???
Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Rakesh WadeHi,
Pls check in OPPQ - Available stock tab - Blocked stock would have been activated and hence the system is considering the Blocked stock also.
This indicator when activated causes blocked stock to be included in the MRP calculation.
The indicator you enable in OPPJ will come into effect only when you carry out an avilability check.

How to identify the material's status within GR blocked stock
Hi Experts:
We have the goods receive for purchase order process is that all the goods from supplier reference to PO should be move to GR blocked stock first(103), and release to un-restricted stock after goods quality inspection(105).
Those quality is not accepted goods should be remained in the GR blocked stock for a long time and some of them will be returned to supplier and some of them will be finial accecpted to un-resticted stock after repair. My question is how can we seperate the material's status from normal goods receive within the GR blocked stock becasue our client want to analysis the GR blocked stock. or if possible those quantites can be move to our no-valued stock? or we can active the vendor batch to seperate? Would you please give me some advice on that?
thanks and best regards
XinchengHI Jin
GR blocked stock is treated as non valuated stock in the system because while posting the material doc with movement type 103 system does not create any accounting entries so those are non valuated stocks till you dont do 105.
As far as report is concerned you can pull the material documents created with movement type 103 in the system for an particular plant and date range this will solve your purpose using trasaction MB51.
As you are planning to go for vendor batch management I belive it will give further split up quantity within the GR block stock, Yes u should go for it.
Award if usefull

Dear Experts,
In production case if some materials is rejected by quality moudle ( qm ) and send to blocked stock. Now PP dept. wants to reprocess of this mateiars can they use this materials from blocked stock if yes How ?
Pooja SharmaHi pooja,
Yes, You can use the blocked stock for reprocessing by moving the stock from blocked into unrestricted (If u want to use directly) or Quality stock (If u want to re-inspect the stock).
You can transfer the stock using transaction MIGO and select Transfer Posting with movement types 343 (for unrestricted use) and 349 (for Quality purpose).
Hope this will help u.
Let me know if u need any further help.

Difference GR blocked and blocked stock
Hi Experts
can u please tell me the difference between gr blocked stock and blocked stock.hi
>block stock
the block stock means the stock is in ur inventory and block for some special reason like reservation or any other reson
>gr block stock
gr block stock is the stock came and blocked for QM inspection before doing actual GR
means the stock will be in our premises but not of our liability
When we have some issues in the received stock and we do not want the quantity to be considered in the inventory the we can maintain the stock as GR Blocked stock.
It is only recorded in the purchase order history. This stock is NOT valuated. You can display goods receipt blocked stock from two viewpoints:
1.Goods receipt blocked stock for a material (at plant
level)
2.Goods receipt blocked stock for a purchase order item
hope it clears

Diffrence between GR Blocked stock and Blocked stock
Dear Seniors,
Kindly tell me the difference between GR Blocked stock and Blocked stock ? in which case, we will move stock to GR blocked stock and blocked stock ??? kindly explain me please.
Regards,
JanaMMHi
Material can flow directly from goods receipt into consumption/usage or into the warehouse. However, It may also be placed into a blocked stock area first.
Using the stock type, you can post the material into quality inspection stock or into blocked stock. In both cases, the material is already managed in the stock. Alternatively, the material can be conditionally accepted. Conditionally accepted deliveries for a purchase order are recorded in goods receipt blocked stock (GR blocked stock).
The quantity posted into goods receipt blocked stock is not added to the inventory or managed as part of the inventory. It is only recorded in the purchase order history.
You would use goods receipt blocked stock, for example, if the vendor's certificate for the delivered quantity were missing, or if you wanted to inspect a small quantity of the material before posting the actual goods receipt.
When the conditions for acceptance are met, the material can be accepted into stock (for example, into unrestricted-use stock). The goods receipt is not valuated until this point.
If the goods are to be returned to the vendor, instead, they can be taken directly from goods receipt blocked stock. Note, however, that a return delivery is possible even if the material was already posted into stock
Blocked Stock is Valuated Stock. it is blocked for Certain reason.
Blocked stock (not usually available from an MRP perspective and no withdrawals are possible for consumption)
From blocked stock, you can withdraw only one sample, scrap a quantity, or post an inventory difference.
If you want to withdraw goods from blocked stock for consumption, you first have to carry out a transfer posting to unrestricted-use stock.
Thanks

Diaply block stock separately in MD04
Hi,
We have configured our system to include block stocks for MRP and would want to display the block stock separately. We have used enhancement EXIT_SAPLM61R_001 & EXIT_SAPMM61R_001
to create a separate column in MD04 to show this figure but would like to check if it is possible to have this displayed as a separate MRP element (ie. a separate row rather than column). Appreciate your advise on how this can be done.
Thanks...Dear Ramesh,
Thanks a lot for your prompt reply.
Yes, I did sort as per your suggestion.
Actually I need that generated list where I can see only the Green-light list but not red-light. How can I block that material item. Pls Give me idea.
Thanks for understanding.

Report for material moved from blocked stock to unrestricted stock
Hi,
Is there a standard report in WM showing list and qty of materials moved from blocked stock to unrestricted stock.
Regards,
PratapIt would have been easy if there was a specific WM movement type for such transfer but due to the reason that the WM 309 is connected to various IM movement types, there is no direct report to get this information.
Conversely, you may use MB51 with the combination of the WM managed storage location and movement type for your purpose. If there are multiple storage locations assinged to the same warehouse then you may put a range in the selection criteria. -
Hi Everyone!
May I ask if there's any other report aside from MMBE that can display the list of Materials that are currently in GR Blocked Stocks? (received using Movement Type 103)
Thanks a lot!Hi........
You have more than 4 t code for the same
1) me2l selection parameter WE104
2) me2m selection parameter WE104
3) mmbe
4) mb51 mov type 103
