GR/GI slip no in MIGO

I saw the MIGO screen there for GR/GI slip no: F4 functionality have been given for forms AX45, AX45&FORMC, CT3, CT3&FORMC, FORMC, NONE.
Why these people have configured this in MIGO
can any one guide me on this......

Check in OMR4 - document types in IV - document type assigned to Tcode MR11 (say KP) and then check document type tab in same Tcode for number range series assigned to doc type KP - maintain series in FBN1. You can check in NRIV database table with object RF_BELEG for number range series maintained.

Hi Experts,
While entering GR/GI slip number in MIGO,system throws an error
"For object XABBELEGNR , number range interval does not exist OMJ6"
Message no. NR751
Diagnosis
The database table NRIV has the delivery class 'C', i.e. the SAP default settings are only in client 000.
Procedure
Create the missing number range interval in customizing.
Transaction code: OMJ6
Configuration settings are already done in OMC1.
external number range already maintained for this plant and year 2010 in OMC1 OMJ6 .but still this error comes.

Printing Indicator (Individual/Collective Slip) at Display MIGO GR document

Hi, Good Morning...
FYI , I 've been check Collective slip indicator when prepare GR document. Once after press CHECK and POST button, system will generate document GR number. Then I just want to display the document again. When system prompt out, we discovered there is not in collective slip indicator status but it become individual slip. Any Other suggestions?

The system is default to pick the individual slip. Are you getting the print from MB90. If yes, then you dont need to worry on this one. On some systems I have seen all 3 options, mapped as collective slip for convenience of users, so that whatever they choose, it doesnot effect the print. Only main thing here is to get the Print active check enabled. If not the print will not go to MB90.
Usually I make the Print check button mandatory, so that material document is not saved without this check.

Number of GR/IR Slip in MIGO

Hi,
Is there any user exits or solutions to set the required number of copies forf GR/IR Slip printing in MIGO posting.
This is for ( 3 Collective Slip Printing ). If it's for Individual Slip, then I can set via field mseg-weanz.
If it's not possible in MIGO, then anything can be done for nast-anzal. Any user exits for this.

I'm not able to maintain in MN21only. This because number copies also depends to Purchase Order Number in mseg.
For PO with number 45*, it need to print 3 copies while for others 2 copies.
So, we need some user exit or others solution. Urgently needed please.

The configs are ok. Its internal no range only. Am getting the GR/IR slip no when i get posted this document. This i can able to see in MB51.
But the req here is pls understand clearly i cant able to see the filed GR/IR slip no in MIGO screen. Where as am seeing the same in MB01 and MB0A.

Message output(IDoc) from MIGO creates multiple idocs repeats for each line

Hi Experts,
We want to send one idoc message thru MIGO output message control upon posting at HEADER level regardless of how many line items are there on the Purchase Order.
Using MIGO we are doing a 101 goods receipt on a PO with 3 line items and we are getting 3 idocs created with the same information form the message output control(basically it is at item level).
I don't know if this is how standard SAP designed the MM message output control.
From MIGO or MB03 there is no option to display the messages at the header level because you have to go thru the line item details to see the messages
I have also tried the collective slip option on MIGO and it did not work(help suggests that it will combine everything in one output)
Can you please let me know if there is a config or development that needs to made on controling the message output at the header level from MIGO.

GI/GR Slip Issue

Hi Techies,
I have some issue regarding the printing of GI /GR Slip using the MIGO transaction.
All the required output types for GI & GR are configured, driver program & forms have been developed.
Now when I test the developement by performing a GI or GR against a material document no spool is getting generated.
Can someone help me out in this regard ?

Check the below settings whether you have done it clear,,
NACE-Select ME Click on Condition records- Select WA02( As you want)-Trans/Event Type-"WA" Print Version " 2" and Execute it
In the next scren P-1, medium-1, Date/Time-Select 3 as you want), Language EN and enter,, Now select the line and click on the communication and there enter the output device if anything specified for you,, and save it,,
Now check in MB02, enter the material document, and double click on the any line item, Click on the messages do the same process for this document as above and save it and try MB90,, surely it wil work and for the future docs,,
Finally-- At the time of MIGO/MB1B check that Indiviual/Collective slip is Enabled or not,,,

Printing of GR/GI Slips and Batch Labels

Hello All,
Currently, at my client's place system is configured such a way that after completing the MIGO process, it prints 2 copies of the GR/GI slips whenever the goods movement takes place. Now along with the GR/GI slips they want to have the system prints the Batch labels for the quantities of units received.
They want to print the batch labels by using the MARA-WESCH field on the Plant Data/Storage view of the material master. But after checking that field I found nothing (not a single value) in it. But still the system prints 2 GR/GI slips after doing MIGO.
I am not able to figure out how to configure the system so that it should print number of Batch Labels by using the value in this field without affecting the current flow of GR/GI Slips. If anyone know about this then please respond.

We set up a separate condition record (Z001) which prints labels in addition to out 2 GR slips
We purchased some software from Zebra (who supplied our label printers) that is specific to SAP. We created the labels using the Zebra software and then imported the layout.
Therefore with a separate condition we could maintain separate parameters for the number required to be printed.

Hi,
I case of vendor return, go to MIGO - Return delivery > Material Document (Here refer GR doc, system will determine Movement Type "122" automatically). And select Print Version as "3" and activate "Print" indicator in "General" Tab of MIGO at Header Level.
And in case of Non-Excisable material, you don't have to do J1IS (Vendor Excise Invoice) so there will not be printing of Excise invoice through J1IV.
Here you have to print material document in MB90, for which you have to check following configurations;
1. OMBR - Here Click on "Print Indicator" button and assign Print Version as "3" (Collective Slip) to Transaction MIGO.
2. OMB5 - Assign Print Item as "2" (Return Delivery)
3. M706 - Use any for the following condition types;
WA01     GI Note Vers.1
WA02     GI Note Vers.2
WA03     GI Note Vers.3
4. MN21 - Create Condition Record for any of the above Condition Type

About BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE urgentuFF01uFF01uFF01

I am using the BAPI 'BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE' to post.
But, there is a small problem. When we post Po's using
MIGO, there is a check box for printing the material
document generated. The defualt setting is 3 -
Collective Slip. When MIGO is used, the user has to
click the checkbox next to this input feild, then
using MB90 we can print the material document.
There is a header field in the above BAPI
VER_GR_GI_SLIP which I set to 3. I was hoping that
this would take care of generating the print preview
for the material document through MB90. But, it
doesn't happen.

You need to pass VER_GR_GI_SLIPX along witht he VER_GR_GI_SLIP.
Like
HEADER-VER_GR_GI_SLIP = '3'.
HEADER-VER_GR_GI_SLIPX = 'X'. " << To let the BAPI to that we are changing VER_GR_GI_SLIP

What standard smartform can be assigned in NACE for Goods issue & Goods receipt slip for multiple items

Hi ,
The smartforms program SAPFM07P_SMART can be used for printing goods receipt 'individual' slip using transaction MIGO.
However this program cannot be used for printing goods receipt 'collective' slip.
In order to print collective slips, please use output type WE03. The
processing routine for WE03 selects all items of a material document.In
transaction M708 or in the following customizing:
Materials Management
   -> Inventory Management and Physical Inventory
      -> Output Determination
         -> Maintain Output Determination Procedures
            Activity: Conditions: Procedure.
Please use requirement 173 for WE03 so that a collective slip will only
be printed once for a material document. If you have no requirement for
output type WE03, you will have a collective slip for each item.
Also maintain Version for printing of GR/GI slip as '3' Collective slip
in transaction OMBR for Tcode MIGO.
In the customizing for "Maintain Output Types" or M706 the standard form
is WESCHEINVERS3 should be assigned to the output type WE03 under the
"Processing routines".

MIGO Posting Date based on GR/GI Slip Number

Dear Friends.
I need your great Inputs
1) I am creating gatepass ticket using T-code LECI,
    Here I am getting Sequence Number like 12 and also
    I am entering here Check-In date like 05.06.2005.
2) In MIGO Transaction,Goods Receipt Purchase Order Screen -->General header :
    when I enter Sequence number 12 in MIGO Transaction(that has been       generated by LECI) in GR/GI Slip no field,the system has to pick        the Check-In Date(05.06.2005) that is been entered in LECI Transaction into Posting date field instead of system date in MIGO automatically.
For the above is there any User-Exit/Badi/ or any other approach?
Please give me your advice.

POSTING_ILLEGAL_STATEMENT in MIGO for collective slip

Hi all.
I am using smartforms for printing GI slips in MIGO. The problem is that when i want to print the document for collective slip i get a short dump with error: POSTING_ILLEGAL_STATEMENT. I have looked over the internet for a solution but i could not find one.
Any ideas ?

GR slip printting issue in TC migo.

Pls check the below settings for material document Print out:
1. Maintain the Printer Name in SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Printer Setting
2. Ensure that in SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Item Print Indicator, 1 stands for Matl Doc print out
3. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Print Version, maintain Print Version 2
4. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Maintain Print Indicator for GI/Transfer Posting Documents
5. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Output Determination->Maintain Output Types, for the Output types WE01, WE02 and WE03, ensure the foll:
a. Default Values: Dispatch Time is 3 or 4 as per reqmt. and Tr medium is 1
b. Print Parameter is 7
6. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Output Determination->Printer Det->Pr Det by Pl/StoLoc, maintain the Output device for all your Plants
7. Go to MN21, for Tr Type WE, Print Version 3, maintain Print Item as 1.
Now the settings are ready for Printing Material doc
8. While doing MIGO, ensure that in General Tab, you get "3 Collective Slip" beside the Print Indicator and you tick mark the field.
9. Now depending on the setting in 5a, the Matl doc is printed. If it is 3, you have to print it using MB90. If it is 4, it is printed immediately.
