GR/IR Clearing A/C Maintenance (Q4-5)

Dear Sirs,
When I maintained GR/IR Clearing A/C using transaction MR11, I found the error u2013 u201CFor object RE_BELEG, number range interval 04 does not exist (Message no. NR751)u201D. Does it mean that this function was not enabled in customizing ?

  • FICA: Clearing rules for account maintenance & auto clearing to apply credits against unpaid security deposits regardless of due date

    Hi Folks,
We have a requirement in FICA clearing rules to apply the payment against unpaid security deposit irrespective of the due date. I have the below rule configured as the first step in my clearing variant.
Grouping String: 019 (statistical indicator); Grp Rule: 3; Char Value: H (security deposits); AIRI: 4;  Group: 019
Sort characteristic: 010 (Due date); Rank: 3; Char value: H; Rank: 1
    I have maintained the corresponding clearing variant in all the clearing types (account maintenance, automatic clearing, and incoming payments); Clearing rule is working perfectly during payments, however for account maintenance and automatic clearing it's not applying the credits against security deposits first. I still see that the items are cleared only based on due date;
Am I missing something here? Please share your suggestions.
    Thanks,
    Santosh

    Santosh:
This rule will not work in account maintenance.  You would need to include the data about the credits into your grouping criteria in order for that to work.  Most clearing rules do not work for account maintenance as they do for payments.  You probably need to have a separate variant with a rule not based on statistical indicator, but rather based on transaction value or maybe create your own custom grouping via TFK116.
    regards,
    bill.

  • Clearing a open item via FM: FKK_CREATE_DOC_AND_CLEAR

    Hi,
I have a requirement where i need to post a debit item which will clear the open items posted to a Contract Account (SAP IS-U). I have found the FM as stated in the subject line which will be used to to clear the open items.
I would like to know what entries i need to put in structure T_FKKCL for the FM so that when i call the FM with the relevant parameters a debit posting gets created and also the open item gets cleared.
    Regards,
    Imran

    Devang:
That FM is not released for use in customer code.  To perform clearing and account maintenance, you should be using BAPI_CTRACCONTRACTACCOUNT_CLR to create clearing entries.  The SAP function assumes you will have run several other preceding functions to prepare the data properly, and since you likely havent, you get the error.

  • Customisation to Account Maintenance transaction FP06

    Hi,
I have a business requirement such that when I do a clearing through Account Maintenance(FP06), the tax items that are calculated on the items that are being cleared should not be wriiten to a specific tax G/L account.
Normally clearing through account maintenance does the Tax calculations on the items being cleared and these are wriiten to the Tax G/L through FM FKK_TAX_LINES_CREATE which updates the G/L items table DFKKOPK.
For my case, I do not want to write this tax credit to the G/L as the clearing is being performed for a debt that has not been recovered and hence this would increase the tax liability.
Does anyone know of any event that SAP has provided and called from FP06 where I can write code either to-
    a) Write an offsetting debit for the tax amount to the same ledger ( so that net tax posting is 0)
    b) Delete the tax G/L posting proposal from the line items available in DFKKOPK.
Any assistance anyone can provide would be much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Tarunavo

    Hi Srinivas,
I already tried some of the SAP provided events under this, but none seem to allow me to change the G/L ledger proposed line items provided by SAP in t_dfkkopk. I am not entirely sure if I am looking at the correct events to customise this. Would you know if you are aware of any event I can use or if you would know an alternative approach to address this.
    Thanks,
    Tarunavo

  • Best practice - Heartbeat discovery and Clear Install Flag settings (SCCM client) - SCCM 2012 SP1 CU5

    Dear All,
Is there any best practice to avoid having around 50 Clients, where the Client version number shows in the right side, but client doesn't show as installed, see attached screenshot.
SCCM version is 2012 SP1 CU5 (5.00.7804.1600), Server, Admin console have been upgraded, clients is being pushed to SP1 CU5.
    Following settings is set:
    Heartbeat Discovery every 2nd day
Clear Install Flag maintenance task is enabled - Client Rediscovery period is set to 21 days
    Client Installation settings
Software Update-based client installation is not enabled
Automatic site-wide client push installation is enabled.
    Any advise is appreciated

    Hi,
I saw a similar case with yours. They clients were stuck in provisioning mode.
"we finally figured out that the clients were stuck in provisioning mode causing them to stop reporting. There are two registry entries we changed under [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\CCM\CcmExec]:
    ProvisioningMode=false
    SystemTaskExcludes=*blank*
When the clients were affected, ProvisioningMode was set to true and SystemTaskExcludes had several entries listed. After correcting those through a GPO and restarting the SMSAgentHost service the clients started reporting again."

  • What criteria are used by the site maintenence task: Clear Install Flag?

I want to understand what exact criteria, i.e. what fields in the database, are used by the "Clear Install Flag" Maintenance task.
Is it just LastDDR that needs to be either NULL or older than the configured "rediscovery period"?
Or are other fields also considered and if so which and what are the criteria.

OK, sorry, my response is not meant to be rude, but to pull additional details out of you since the blog post and TechNet article linked do fully address the question(s) as the heartbeat time being the only criteria used and IsClient being reset
to 0. Also note that you did explicitly challenge the veracity of the blog post and so that called for some clarification on the source and an understanding of why you were questioning it.
Having said that, it's certainly possible that other fields are reset during the task also, but why does this matter for your scenario? On that note, what is your scenario?
The "why", motivation, and context of the question or request for information is almost always important because it allows us to address your scenario and ensure that you have all of the information needed to properly address that scenario. Put
another way, why does it matter if some other fields are blanked out? Knowing this may help us point you in a better direction or even influence the product group if it's something that's never really been considered before.

    2. So how to clear this GR/IR variance against all GR/IR for single item
Please suggest solution on urgent basis

    Dear Tushar,
    Transaction is MR11
    GR/IR Account Maintenance: Account Movements
    Use
The offsetting entry to clear the GR/IR account is the same as the posting made when you enter an invoice for a purchase order.
    •     Material with Moving Average Price (MAP)
The GR/IR account is cleared against the stock account, unless no stock coverage exists. If the material stock is smaller than the quantity to be cleared, only the actual stock quantity is debited or credited proportionally. The remaining amount is posted to a price difference account.
    •     Material with Standard Price
The offsetting entry is posted to a price difference account.
    •     Purchase Orders Assigned to an Account
The offsetting entry is made to the cost or fixed asset account shown in the account assignments in the purchase order.
      Maintaining the GR/IR Clearing Account
    Prerequisites
The GR/IR clearing account is usually cleared at the end of a period or fiscal year for those order items that no further goods receipts or invoices are expected for.
    Procedure
    1.     Choose Logistics  Materials Management  Logistics Invoice Verification  GR/IR Account Maintenance  Maintain GR/IR Clearing Account.
The GR/IR Account Maintenance screen appears.
    2.     Enter data as required on this screen in the Document header data frame.
    3.     In the Selection frame, you choose various selection criteria for the transactions for which you want to post the differences. User-Specific Default Parameters are available for the following selection fields. You maintain them in the user master.
    4.     Choose the processing type:
    •     Automatic clearance
     The Automatic clearance function is intended for processing in the background. Choose Program  Execute in background.
    •     Prepare list
         Choose  Execute.
         The selection screen appears.
    5.     On the selection screen, the individual purchase order items that have quantity variances and match your selection are now listed.
Select the order items that you want to clear.
    6.     Clear the GR/IR clearing account for the selected purchase orders by choosing List  Post clearing.
    Account Maintenance Document
    Definition
Document that displays the quantities of the debit or credit of a material in GR/IR clearing account maintenance.
    Use
If you clear quantity differences between the goods receipt and invoice receipt for a purchase order using account maintenance, the system produces an account maintenance document.
    Integration
You can branch from the account maintenance document to the following accounting documents, assuming that they exist:
    •     Accounting document
    •     Profit center document
    •     Special ledger document
    •     Material ledger document
      Displaying/Canceling Account Maintenance Documents
    Procedure
Function     Menu path     What you should know
Display account maintenance document     Logistics  Materials Management  Logistics Invoice Verification  GR/IR Account Maintenance  Display/Cancel Account Maintenance Document
Enter the document number or select the document number required.
Choose Continue.     You can branch from the account maintenance document display to the accounting documents.
The account maintenance document is also updated in the purchase order history.
Cancel account maintenance document     Logistics  Materials Management  Logistics Invoice Verification  GR/IR Account Maintenance  Display/Cancel Account Maintenance Document
Enter the document number or select the document number required.
    Choose Continue.
    Choose Edit  Reverse document.
Enter the posting date. You can maintain the document header text (as a comment on the reversal).
Choose Save.     The account maintenance document was cancelled. As a result, the original difference on the GR/IR clearing account is restored. You can now correct the GR/IR clearing account again by means of more goods receipts or by clearing it manually.

  • Set type creation and updation of the structure COMT_PROD_MAT_MAINTAIN_API

    Hello Experts,
    I've the below scenario,
I created new Org dependent Z set type and assigned to a category.
And I'm using the API - COM_PRODUCT_GETDETAIL_API to get the details about the material via the export parameter ES_MATERIAL_DATA which has the structure of COMT_PROD_MAT_MAINTAIN_API.
    My doubt :
Whether the newly created Z set type structure will be automatically updated to this COMT_PROD_MAT_MAINTAIN_API? (In my case it has not happened)
I hope system has to append this structure automatically.
If not how to get this job done. Is there any settings to be done?
If not Whether I can append this structure manually? will it affect anywhere?
Kindly help me on this regard.
    Thanks in Advance!

  • Error in the appropriation of Order - KO88

After running the kon2, cost centers are maintained with a balance of zero.
KO88 to run, and the order is also cleared, but the maintenance cost center to take back the balance.
    What can be?
I checked the rule of appropriation and it is correct.

    Hi Ajay,
The standard for appropriation is a machine center tubes.
But the bigger problem is that when I run KO88 returns values for the cost center that were cleared in the kon2.
I checked the standard is right and ownership, 100% for the Cost Center Machine Tubes.
    Look accounting for KO88:
    C - ORD 4000000047 - materials
    D - CCS 13049 (Machine Tubes) - materials

  • SCCM 2012 R2 Migration - Clients being lost

I am in the process of migrating SCCM 2007 to SCCM 2012 R2.  I had about 11 clients that all were working successfully for about a week.  As of yesterday all are reporting as Client "No", client type "None" but with the site
code of the 2012 R2 server.  If I check the clientlocation log file of one of the clients, I don't see it reporting to the old SCCM server or anything like that.  SCEP definitions are still deploying successfully, however I can't deploy any packages
    to any of the devices.
Any ideas where I should start looking?
    * Edit: A software updates deployment I just made started and is asking for a reboot.  However my client in SCCM still shows Client as No, Client type as  None.  Also, there is no information listed for Policy Request, Heartbeat DDR, Hardware
Scan, Software Scan, Management Point, etc.  This information was there as of yesterday morning.

I think I figured this out.  I had the 'Clear Install Flag' maintenance task set to run every Tuesday/Wednesday/Sunday between 12AM and 5AM for anything without a heartbeat within the last 4 days.  Heartbeat Discovery was configured to only run
once a week.  I think it just ended up clearing the install flag on my test clients.

  • Pro/Con using symbolic constants in path names (Newbie)

I am a complete novice when it comes about JSP and would like to
ask your opinion in a design question:
Assuming a project where a lot of JSP and Java files
refer to filenames in the same directory, i.e.
    in .jsp :
    <img src="/foo/bar/myfile1.jpg" />
    <img src="/foo/bar/myfile2.jpg" />
    in .java :
    String myfile = "/foo/bar/myfile3.jpg";
etc., I thought it would make sense to introduce a common constant
to represent the base directory for all these files:
    class MyConst { public final String mybase="/foo/bar"; }
and use it, say in the jsp files, like this:
    <img src="<%= MyConst.mybase>/myfile1.jpg" />
This would clearly ease the maintenance, in case the pictures
are moved to a different location.
    Now to my questions:
    (1) Do you see any disadvantage in my solution - say, a performance
penalty due to the introduction of several dozens of scriptlet
    expressions in each jsp file?
    (2) Do you see a better possibility to achieve my goal?
    Ronald

No What I meant by putting them in Properties File is becoz,
let us say when I developed the application all the gifs, jpegs i had them places in a folder names /images
Now during prodction, they have placed these in a folder named /pics
Now I need to change the Constant Java file and then compile all the files and then create war , ear respectively. Which is not possible in production environment. So such changes we would reduce by placing such references in the Properties file.
What i do is read the values during Application startup. Then use these in the Screens. The advantage is I dont need to compile the Java files.

  • Heartbeat Discovery

Ok, so I know this isn't rocket science but dang it, I am having a hard time comprehending it. Can someone please tell me if I have this setup the best way?
I am seeing inactive clients in our SCCM database. I understand that is normal and so on, but what I am wanting to know is if I have my heartbeat discovery and the Clear Install flag maintenance task setup correctly, since I know they are somewhat connected
    with each other.
My company works Monday through Friday with a few that work on weekends. I have my Heartbeat Discovery enabled and set to send every 3 days. We do have client push enabled. For my Clear Install Flag maintenance task, I have it enabled and the Client Rediscovery
period is set to 14 days and runs every Sunday. We want to be agrresive with keeping our client database current and up to date, but I don't want to be overly agressive either. I have a PC who is trying to get an application I am pushing out but SCCM
thinks the PC is "Inactive" since it has been turned off for 5 days now, but turned on today.
    Any recommendations for changes?
    Thank you!!

Honestly there are no changes needed.
However on a side note, I generally recommend that both heartbeat and hardware inventory be set to daily.

Never, ever run a program such as MacSweeper, MacKeeper, MacDefender, etc., on a Mac,
If you really want a good maintenance application for your Mac try Cocktail (here is some info: http://www.maintain.se/cocktail ) that can run automatically on a daily base repairing permissions, rotating logs and clearing caches, pure maintenance and safe to use, keeps your Mac very healthy.
I know MacKeeper has a very aggressive advertisement campaign but I fully agree with the statement Station Two provided you.

  • Dragging Icons

Hi! I do have a problem with my mouse or my computer, I don't know what to do... when I try to drag an icon on my desktop or in folders or even in iTunes, it highlights the object but nothing more happen. HELP ME PLEASE!!!

There's a not-unheard-of problem with some early versions of 10.2 where a preferences/cache corruption or set of corruptions causes the sporadic inability to drag-and-drop on the Desktop.
There's a handy freeware utility that should fix your problem: Dragster
I never saw the problem myself, and updating to 10.2.8 using the OS X Update Combo 10.2.8 should eliminate the problem from occuring in the future. With OS X version prior to 10.4, it's highly recommended that you run Disk Utility/ Repair Permissions afterwards (and it won't hurt to run it before, especially in your case, after dealing with suspect preferences).
You may also want to look for an older copy of one of the third-party utilities that can be used to clear caches, run maintenance scripts, and th elike, and run it once a month or so to keep things running smoothly; e.g., OnyX version 1.3.1 for Mac OS X (10.2)
