we want to migrate one company code GR/IR to another company code within the same SAP client, can any expert show the steps to do GR/IR migration within the same SAP client, I already migrate vendor open item.

Please note that GR/IR Account should have zero balance at the end of any period. Before migrating (closing the existing GR/IR Account and opening a new GR/IR Account in another Company Code) it is prudent practise that this Account is cleared and has zero balance in the existing Company Code

What happened to handoff checkbox within systems preferences?

I've been reading articles about using Handoff within Yosemite. They all say to first be sure that a box allowing its use within the General pane of Systems Preferences be checked. I've looked several times, and there is no such box. Did they move it somewhere else or eliminate it?

The checkbox allowing Handoff is only available for those Macs which are compatible with it. Handoff requires a Late 2012 or newer iMac, so if you have got an older iMac, you cannot use it. See -> System requirements for Continuity on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac - Apple Support

IDOC Invoice within system

Hi cumulative EDI intelligence,
we have a scenario as follows:
Incoming IDOC creates sales order.
Invoice is created from order.
EDI Message IDOC INVOIC01 is configured and created when saving IDOC.
For this purpose, I created the bill-to-party in WE20 as EDI-Partner KU for message type INVOIC.
Works fine up to this point.
Now I want to process this invoice to create an invoice document. The target business partner is configured for another company in the same system. The client wants the billing to occur via (internal) EDI.
Now I am stuck a little bit: Do I need a second partner or can I just configure the same message type as an inbound parameter for the same EDI partner (type KU - Customer).
An what about ports? Will I create ports to RFC-send to the own system?
Well, maybe someone experience on this.

Hi Clemens;
   We are doing something similar, bringing in a sales order and then creating an invoice in company A and using that to invoice company B all in the same instance of R/3.
   In order to do that, we set up an output from the invoice on company A that created the EDI output. We ran that through an ABAP port to reverse the control record (make it an inbound invoice) and then brought it back into company B.
   To answer your question about partners, the answer is yes if you want to do it that way. In order to ouput the EDI invoice, you will need a partner of type LI (vendor) to create the output, then you can bring it back in another inbound paramters of the KU partner.

How to add a pane from DEEP within System Prefs to the dock

I frequently use my HP Deskjet scanner, and the way I scan stuff is by doing:
System Prefs > Printers & Scanners > [select the printer] > Scan > Open Scanner...
Is there a way to essentially record the LAST action, the "Open scanner" mouse-click, and add it to my dock for quick (and instant) scanner access?
Saving these 15 seconds ten times a day might actually add a week to my life. And please, explain it like I'm 5.

I cannot help with exactly your question, someone else may.
However can you not use the Image Capture application, it is supplied with OS X and is in the applications folder, if that scans how you want, just drag it to the Dock for easy access.

Searching within System Preferences no longer works

Hi all, the search box in system preferences used to highlight relevant icons to my search. now however it dims as if about to show a spotlight but it never appears, it undims when i delete the search term. have tried obvious searches such as "volume", "keyboard" etc... to verify.
have a feeling its been a while as have had some fruitless searches over some time but just assumed it was me searching for the wrong thing...
any ideas? does yours work? cheers

hmm i set up a new user account and it works fine in this, disk utility repaired some permissions (although it showed several which "would not be fixed"!)
any suggestions? back in main account and system preferences search isnt working

Odd bug: "keyboard and mouse" within "system preferences" will not open!!

After having to Archive and Re-Install yesterday and installing "X11", I have an odd problem:
- apple+i leads to crashing and restart of "Finder"
- when investigating this I found the "keyboard and mouse" registry in "system preferences" will not open.
Any ideas what could be wrong?
Is there any other remedy short of another Archive and Re-Install?
In the system library I have "Keyboard.prefPane" version 3.13. Clicking on it opens a blank "system preferences" page entitled "keyboard and mouse".
Your help would be greatly appreciated!

Computer hangs within system preferences

I decided to change my desktop picture. When I chose to view pictures from photo stream, the application hung. Any ideas?

Quit System Preferences if it's running. In the Finder, hold down the option key and select
Go ▹ Library
from the menu bar. From the Library folder, delete the following item, if it exists:
Caches/com.apple.systempreferences
and move the following item to the Desktop:
Preferences/com.apple.desktop.plist
Launch System Preferences and test. If you still have the issue, put the item on the Desktop back where it came from and post again. Otherwise, delete the item.

IWeb not updating published status within application

I'm having a strange iWeb problem that just started up within the last day or so. When I publish any of the sites within my domain (I have seven separate "sites" that are all part of the same domain file) the updates get published to my site, but the icons in iWeb do not change color back to blue. This happens whether I choose to publish changes or publish all.
Another symptom of this problem is that my published site (http://www.adamreisinger.com) does not reflect the changes online until about five minutes after iWeb gives me the dialog box that my site has been successfully updated.
The only thing I've changed on my system recently is applying the last round of software updates, including the iLife update. I've tried trashing the application preferences and the iWeb cache and re-publishing, as well as logging out and logging back into MobileMe within System Preferences.
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried the steps you outlined, and unfortunately the problem persists. Also, because the files were deleted from the Web folder the iDisk, iWeb is now under the impression that EVERY page has been modified, which has actually increased my publishing time.
Some other troubleshooting steps I've taken to try and narrow down this problem:
- I've tried publishing the domain from a newly created user account on the same computer (MBP running 10.6.2 and all latest updates applied)
- I've tried copying the domain file to a different computer (one that has not had the latest iLife support update applied) and publishing from there
- I've tried publishing to a different MobileMe account (a test account set up by Apple)
- I deleted an entire site from the source list in iWeb (one that, fortunately, was not needed)
After all these steps -- tried individually -- the issue persists.

Help I can't get rid of the beach ball in system preferences!

I have an iMac OS X 10.8.3. Every time I go to system preferences to change my screen saver I immediatley get the beach ball and the enire thing freezes up. I can't do ANYTHING within system referneces and I can only get out by 'force quit'. We've tried everything we can think of. This is a new glitch because we used to be able to change our photos in screen saver all the time. It is super frustrating and it slows down everything. Does anybody know what could possibly be happening and if there is a way around this?

i have a problem, my Apex 4.2 computer/server died, broken motherboard, made me to take the backup files from the HDDs within System A, moved them over to the HDD within System B.
System OS: Win7 Ult 64bit.
1. Installed Oracle 11g XE
2. Installed Java JRE-7 (1.7.0_40)
3. Installed Java Glassfish Server 3.1.2.2 (ogs-3.1.2.2-windows.exe) (Java EE6 Compatible)
4. Run Restore, Succefully Restored. (the Backup is taken from System "A" that worked properly with Apex 4.2 before hardware crash.)

Searching in System Preferences has stopped working

A few days ago I noticed that I couldn't search within System Preferences. I can type in the search box, but no autocomplete results are shown and no icons are highlighted. Searching is basically useless:
It was working before, so it must be something that I did. There has been another thread about the problem before, with no solution. Nothing else comes up in Google either. Does anyone have any ideas as to what might have caused this?

I wouldn’t say the problem is in Mavericks, the other thread I found on it is from 2009. I’m surprised how rare this issue is – seems like something that should have an easy fix.

Apps auto-launch on startup, despite System Prefs and quitting before shutdown.

All apps that were open before shutdown are relaunching themselves upon startup.
This behavior occurs even if I quit each application individually before initiating system shutdown.
This behavior occurs whether I tick or untick the following settings within System Preferences / General:
• Ask to keep changes when closing documents.
• Close windows when quitting an application.
This behavior occurs despite none of the apps being listed within System Prefs / Login Items.
Examples of auto-launching apps (behavior occured just now with these): TextEdit, Dictionary, Calendar, Contacts, Safari, Firefox, Excel, Acrobat.
I am the administrator and only user on this machine.

Back up all data.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
I've tested these instructions only with the Safari web browser. If you use another browser, they may not work as described.
Step 1
If you have more than one user account, and the one in question is not an administrator account, then temporarily promote it to administrator status in the Users & Groups preference pane. To do that, unlock the preference pane using the credentials of an administrator, check the box markedAllow user to administer this computer, then reboot. You can demote the problem account back to standard status when this step has been completed.

Boot into Recovery. When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select

Non-Apple Keyboard: any way to control system audio volume?

I have a non-Apple Keyboard on my new Mini Lion 7.2.1
Is there any way to control system audio volume via the keyboard ?

Well. I can do this. But just because, on my Apple keyboard, there are the keys that do the job. There's a key to mute, and the keys to adjust low and high the sound. But keyboard shortcuts, I don't think exist. The aren't in keyboard shortcut in Keyboard panel, within System Preferences. The bottom line is that isn't a menu item in Finder for lower sound and higher sound. The only option would be an AppleScript that you save as an applet within Scripts menu (activated in Finder via Script Editor) and you invoke with a shortcut... Well, you can do it, if you open the script Set Output Volume in UI Elements Script folder within Scripts folder. Try it out!

Interesting Issue with Screen Saver in System Preferences

Sorry for posting what might be a simple fix, as I thought it would be such, but apparently I just can't seem to figure this out. (as I trouble shoot for Pro Apps support requests every day at the office, but it's always the simplest items that seem to get us for some reason)
Just recently assisted installing Snow Leopard (Mac Box Set) on my sister's machine, clean install, and was in the process of updating her screen saver the way it was previously, Cycling through her Photos in iPhoto. When I first selected iPhoto within the screen saver system preference pane, it would give me a message saying that there were no photos selected/available. Yet, when I opened iPhoto '08, all her photos where all coming up as expected. No matter how many times I tried to select iPhoto in the screen saver pane, it wouldn't come up.
I figured I'd follow the request it was giving me, about using the icon at the bottom of the pane to manually add the "Pictures" folder where they all reside. Instead of just adding the "Pictures" folder to the side bar, it now shows ALL various sub-folders in the side bar list. (making the list about 100x longer than original)
I figured I'd try reversing what I did, selecting the various photo folders/sub-folders and use the to remove them from the list, but each of the various items listed all have the button disabled and cannot be removed. I then made several attempts to delete any/all preference files that were associated with *screensaver* in the various *.plst file namings. Though, no matter how many, or how many times I removed all the obvious screen saver *.plist files I could find, even after emptying the trash, and starting System Preferences once again, the HUGE list of photos were still showing up in the Screen Saver pane within System Preferences.
I appreciate any advice and/or guidance in how I might be able to remove the extra photo folders from the Screen Saver Sys Preferences side bar, and thank you very much in advance for taking the time thus far.

I had a Dell 21.5" monitor, which was previously connected to a Windows PC via its DVI port, which has no problem with DDC/CI.
