GR/IV

Question

Hi Gurus,
We have an issue . For some reason, in this case, the system seems to think that a goods receipt is not required for a particular vendor/PO combination as when you process the invoice, it comes up as if a goods receipt exists even though this is not the case.
the vendor has been setup correctly  (the purchasing tab, GR/IV based invoice verification is enabled on this vendor)
Any idea?

I think the fact that the GR box is not defaulty checked in the NB order because of the settings for the account assignment you are using.
Go to TCode OME9 and select the account assignment category used in the PO line item.  You will see check boxes for Goods Receipt, GR Non-Valuated, Invoice Receipt, etc.  If these are checked it defaults the box as checked in the PO item.  Check the one for Goods Receipt.  My guess is that it is not checked.
