GR qty for STO

Hi,
Can I restrict doing GR for more qty which is not issued by supplying plant?
Due to this more GR qty there is a problem to do Gi in supply8img plant.

Hi Gupta,
You can restrict the system in doing GR for the specified Qty in P.O for more using Tolerance Limits.
If you can check the tolerances for Goods receipt you can probably fix this problem.
So for GR if there is Over delivery tolerance limits set more than required standard, then the system is allowed to do GR for Qty more than the Qty in Purchase Order. So you can set the Over delivery and Underdelivery to "O"(Zero).

Minimum order quantity for STO UB DOC type

Hello Guru's,
This issue is regarding STO (UB doc type):-
Client's requisrement is while creating the STO using trax ME21N system should issue an warning message, if the STO line item exceeds the Minimum order quantity mantain in Material master data.
For Standard PO works fine because that we can set it in Info record, but in STO for UB doc type it is not working, since we can't create info record for STO.
Is there any settings availabe in SAP for Minimum order qty for STO (UB doc type).

Not sure if I know one either,.. however you could always validate it through a user exit. Maintain a Z-table with the order type, Supplying plant and qty filds.. min-max and any other and validate it each time during check and save..

At the time of MIRO against STO full qty for invoice is showing.

We have created STO for lumsum qty and then created OBD with PGI and GRN for breackup qty,but at the time of MIRO against STO full qty for invoice is showing ,and we want respective breakup qty in respect to OBD or GRN no. as reference.

Have you done PGI and GRN both for partial quantity ?
Can you show the screen shot for PO history and MIRO ?

Seems like the stock is not available for the particular material, thats why it is picking up the less amount which is available in stock, or the ATP check has blocked the stock available, and you have certain pieces available currently for the said material.

How to get WM picked qty for an STO

Hi Gurus,
I have an STO for intercompany delivery .Now, the moment a delievry is created for STO , deliverd qty if updated in "delivery schedule" in sto regardless of
whether picking/TO creation is done or not.
My requirement is to find out the unpicked qty (in WM) for Line item/material in STO (the material qty can be divided across many deliveries ) .
How can i do that ?

if you will look the purchase order history tab you will find the detail of QTY issued against the outbound delivery which will tell you how much picking has happened against the overall quantity . Hope i understood your query correctly and the solution is helpful

Delivery Qty Zero for STO with 2 line item

Hi Guys,
I have a problem when create delivery for STO with 2 line item which contain material with BOM. I have create delivery with tcode VL10G refer to Purchase Order and Delivery successfully created, but delivery qty was zero or empty. I try to fill the dlv qty same with STO Qty but popup message "Only 0 PC for the material available", I have check the stock and there is a stock exist for the material.
I need help for this problem.

Please maintain the "B - Create Delivery with qty greater than Zero" in Part.dlv./item in shipping tab page of the customer of site.
more briefly: in WB02 --> click on the customer of the site --> Shipping Tab page --> Maintain B (Create Delivery with qty greater than Zero)

Availability check for STO?

Hi,
While doing Stock transfers order (PO) plant to plant with in the company code, there is no controlling on availability check, though stocks are not available in the supplying plant, while making delivery thro VL10B, delivery is creating with '0' Qty. This system want to stop the delivery when quantities are not available in the supplying plant.
The following steps are configured for availability check for STO
Schedule line Like NN activated for availability, Assigned schedule lines to item category like NLN and determined rule for STO document type, plant, Delivery type and checking rule in MM.
how to control the delivery, when stock are not available in supplying plant? (Means, when stock are not available in the supplying plant, delivery creation should stop through VL10B)
Is there any more configuration is required, pl guide.

During delivery creation, the system performs an availability check (ATP). You can assign the Delivery notice type for a stock transfer order delivery notice at OMGN. The ATP for DN will be the standard ATP rules for SD delivery notices (checking rule B).You can determine which elements are used for availability checking in OVZ9.
To meet your goals, I suggest you use:
Check w/o replenishment lead time ticked
Include deliveries ticked.
Optionally, according to your company's policies
Include safety stock ticked
Include quality inspection stock ticked
Everything else unticked.

Your client/company will be having a format for FS.
In that FORMAT, give your inputs for STO Report based on the following points.(as i dont have system access now, check yourself before concluding. to find the table and fields, you have to press F1 on the value in the screen)
Receving point - in ME22N/ME23N, put the mouse over the receiving plant and press F1. You will get the table and field.
ship to party - in LIKP check for KUNNR/KUNAG
STO number in LIKP check for VBELN
Material number - in LIPS check for MATNR
delivery creation date- in LIKP check for DATE
quantity in storeage location - GET THE TABLE FOR MMBE and input the material and storage location to fetch QTY.

Free goods master for STO or workaround to meet this requirement

Dear Gurus,
I use IS-retail and the situation we faced is we have got a deal from our vendor that if we buy article A will get article B for free. So we set a free goods master using condition type NR00. It work fine in purchase order we order to our vendor however when we create STO to distirbute product from our DC to store, there are no free goods concept in STO.
Does anyone have a solution for this issue or workaround for this?
we would like to have a subitem (Free goods item)pop up automatically when create STO from DC to store for the main article.
Is there a way to goods issue for sto with no cost for free goods article?

I already tried and found that In STO , The free goods indicator is disable (suppress) unlike in normal PO. There might be a reason for this. Do you any workaround on this?

Is ther a FM to get the open order qty for a particular material &salesorg?

Hi experts,
I have requirement to find the open order qty for a given sales org (plant will be even better ) and material in my report. I do not want to use the standard tables as i need to fetch all records without any time restriction.So it is takin a lot of time.
I know i can find it in va05 but i want to know if ther is some standard function module which can serve this purpose.

Open Qty for Contracts in Purchasing

Hi,
Is there a standard config for Open Target Quantities for Contracts, as there is for standard POs (there is Open Qty - 0BO_QTY - within the 0PUR_DS03 transformation), but I need to show an Open Target Qty for Contracts.
The value exists within RM06A, field name OFZMG but it is not part of the standard Purchasing extractors, whereas the Target Qty is.
Any advise appreciated.

Yeah, I know how to enhance the standard extractors but the logistics extractors are different where the standard LIS extractors actually contain a whole load of additional fields that you can ehnance via LBWE.
If I enhance these with the append structure and some code, then it could cause issues with enhancing via the standard LBWE in the future.

CLOSING STOCK QTY FOR THE DATE

Yes, we tried to take the last MBLNR(Value) of the date from MKPF and Try to use the LBKUM Field from MSEG table. But the LBKUM value is with intransit stock.
So , we failed in that logic to bring the warehouse stock for the date.

For STO with billing how to take material in plant stock without cancelling excise duty

Please suggest for STO with billing how to take material back in plant stock without cancelling excise duty.
Scenario is
Material transffered from manufacturing plant to depot,material is in transit now, but due to some reason material calls back to manufacturing plant.
Since the excise invoice is raised and material move out of factory client can not cancel excise invoice from legal point of view & client has to pay excise duty for the material movement.
Please suggest how to take back goods to manufacturing plant without cancelling excise invoice.
We have suggested client as there is no provision to take back goods to manufacturing plant without cancelling excise invoice
and to take back material to manufacturing plant stock they have to cancel excise invoice and other related documents.
But client is asking for another options.So requesting you to please suggest any alternative ways for same.

I don't think, there is a statutory rule which says, manufacturer should not cancel the excise invoice generated on their Depot plant. Justification can very well be given to Excise authorities and hence, ask your client to follow the normal process by treating this as Depot returns.

Run time error while doing VL10B transaction for STO

We are facing problem of run time error while creating Delivery (VL10B) for STO .We have two company codes .For one company code its working fine .But we are trying for another company code ,this error coming.error detals
Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "SAPLV05I" had to be terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
Error analysis
    An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
    The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB', was not cau
     in
    procedure "SD_PARTNER_UPDATE" "(FUNCTION)", nor was it propagated by a RAI
     clause.
    Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
    exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
    The reason for the exception is:
    If you use an ABAP/4 Open SQL array insert to insert a record in
    the database and that record already exists with the same key,
    this results in a termination.
    (With an ABAP/4 Open SQL single record insert in the same error

These Kind of Errors Generally Occor for the wrong maitnaince of the partner functions. If you are using any user exits to detremine the partner functions. check the logic in that routine.
Because we do frequently get this error, but only if we hae not maintained as per the rule written in the user exit..
The USer exits for partner Determiantion to check is Function Module EXIT_SAPLV09A_003. THis gets activated, if you have give the source parner function as "X/Y/Z" in your partenr determiantion procedures.
