GR Slip output

Hi MM experts..
I have configured GR/IR Slip print out, where i have maintained the following settings.
1.OMBR- printer settings maintained( std printer LP01)
2.M706 out put type WE03 maintained
3.OMJ3 assigned plant sotrage loact to local printer LP01 and ched print immediately.
4. MN21 maintained condtion record maintained for even type WE,Print version 3-collective slip, print item 6-material doc for gr, i have also assigned LP01 by double clicking line items.
Even after maintaining all the necessary settings I am not getting the output in sp01.
I have to go to MB02 always and assign the output type.
Can anyone tell me am i missing any steps here so that i get output type automatically the moment goods are posted.

Go through these steps you can get the GRN Printout
1. Maintain the Printer Name in SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Printer Setting
Enter the local printer where you want to print your Goods posting document
2. Ensure that in SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Item Print Indicator, 1 stands for Matl Doc print out
3. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Print Version, maintain Print Version 2
4. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Maintain Print Indicator for Goods Receipt/GI/Transfer Posting Documents
Here for Particular mvt type 101,201,121,311 etcu2026 Maintain the Print item as 1--Material document printout
5. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Output Determination->Maintain Output Types, for the Output types WE01, WE02 and WE03, ensure the following--
Select the particular Output type then goto Details
a. Default Values: Dispatch Time is 3 or 4 as per reqmt. and Transmission medium is 1
b. Print Parameter is 7
6. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Output Determination->Printer Det->Printer Determination by Plant/Str Loc, Maintain the Output device for all your Plants
7. Go to MN21, for Tr Type WE, Print Version 3, maintain Print Item as 1.
Now the settings are ready for Printing Material doc
8. While doing MIGO, ensure that in General Tab, you get "3 Collective Slip" beside the Print Indicator and you tick mark the field.
9. Now depending on the setting in 5a, the Matl doc is printed. If it is 3, you have to print it using MB90. If it is 4, it is printed immediately.

Urgent: Slip output not trigger out

Hi experts
HOpe to get your help
We have two output type zwa1/zwa2. Now we found zwa1 could be triggered out by mb1b but zwa2 can't.
we have set NDR as big X and ND9 as the user group. in omj4 ,we setup plant locaiton and user gorup with printer.
Now If I set locaiton with output type with zwa1, when I do mb1b ,zwa1 could come up in message
but if I set locaiton with output type zwa2 , there is no message output trigger out.
I check the output type, it seems they both use plant/location/user group combination.
ANy adivce why zwa2 can't come up ?

Check if both the message types are define in the access sequence procedure in inventory management,
Check the automatic message determination properly in MN21, MN22 and MN23 and see to that the all the information is provided correctly

Change GR Slip Output type in mvt 101

What is the best way to change the output type (WF02) that is link to Mvt 101?

Dear friend ,
Condition WF01 is linked with Goods Receipt performed at MIGO. Not by moviment type (standard system).
If your system has been changed , someone can put an access sequence at condition WF01 linked with moviment type , but by standard system your condition is linked with document type WE = GR. by purch.order.
How can you see it ? enter at condition customizing on tcode M706 and check access sequence entered into condition. This determine if condition will be linked or not with an object.

Output Condition filtering

Hi All
Is there a way I can set up separate output conditions per plant?
Requirement:
I wish to have 2 GR slip outputs in plant A for 101 movements only
Plants B,C,D are to have only 1 GR Slip output for movement type 101
Can this be done?

Hi
maintain the Condtion records with the Key combination Trans./Event Type/ Print Version/Print item/Plant, in MN21 then you will be able to set your condition records based on Plant.
In the Communication medium maintain the number of copies based on the Plant
In the standard this Key combination is not avialble , so you need to create anew condition table & then create a new access sequence & Attach it to the Output type say WE01 or WE02 or WE03.

GR and GI slip for MB1A?

To All
Can I configure more than one document type (WA, WE, WH, etc) per T-Code?
OMBA displays current document type but I cannot configure a GR and GI slip for T-Code MB1A
We need a GI slip output for mvt type 201 and 221 and a GR slipoutput for mvt type 202 and 222. Both mvt codes use MB1A.
Any ideas of how to configure?

XDOREPPB performance issue

Hi Everyone,
I'm reaching out to all channels looking for some help.
We are having an issue where all XML Pub reports that get submitted in the AfterReport trigger using XDOREPPB from the rdf are taking forever to run. Here is an example:
Since most of the time the Packing Slip is submitted through the shipping transactions screen there is no option to link it up to a template. So what we do is link it in the AfterReport trigger by submitting the XDOREPPB request.

Has anyone ran across a similar issue as this? We are on a linux platform RDBMS : 11.2.0.1.0 Oracle Applications : 11.5.10.2.

I don't actually use XDOREPPB for BI Publisher reports - what I do is to run a query to find the default template first:
SELECT output_file_type

I then check that the output type is 'XML' to ensure a template is required, and then set up the template:

Pick Slip report gives 'No Data Found' output

Problem Statement:
Iam unable to generate Pick release report, the shipping
lines status is "ready to release" and we have a available quantity for the shipment.
Step1 : Create a Order.
Step2 : Save and Book the Order.
Step3 : Pick Release the Order.
Step4 : Go To " View My Requests".
Step5 : Select the Request Id " Pick Slip Report "
Step6 : Click on Output.
Result " No Data Found.

Hi SYR,
Pick Slip report gives you out put as NO DATA FOUND, is basically, bcos there has not been any picking of the item, reason may be,
1. Qty avaialble wont be reservable and transactable
Check in Inventory> On handqty > click availibility tab
And see whether the item is available to transact & reserve.
If you have enought qty thn you shld be able to pick release tht item.
2. Check which sub inventory are you using while pick release, is it the same as where the item is kept.
Try this out.

No output determined for GR slip

Hi Experts,
Need your help to analyze a situation.
My system is not able to determine a output condition record for a material document for GR. The system ends up in a error "The system could not create any outputs". Although the system immediately generates a output when the printer name is filled in the condition records.
Settings currently done in the system:-
- Proper customizing exist in the system for output detrmination for Inventory management.
- Print parameters for WE01(individual slip) is set to S "User parameters".
- Condition record maintained for WE01 with dispatch time 4 for a "print" output. The printer field is kept blank.
- User parameter NDR not Set. The check box XNAPR is checked manually.
- A printer is set in the User parameters -
>Defaults -
Output device -
ML0001(physical printer).
OSS notes already checked:-
446041 (sympton 2 applies, but it doesnot help).
426554 (all settings done as per the checklist)
The system should act as below but unfortunately it doesn't.
The system checks whether a printer has been specified in the condition record. If so, it is used. If not, it checks the message type to see whether a print parameter has been set. If no parameter has been set, no message is generated. If a parameter has been set, a printer is sought in accordance with this parameter. If a printer is found, it is used to output the message. If not, no message is generated.
Please help me with your expertise.

WE03 Output type with print version '3' (Collective Slip)

I am using output type WE03 with combination of print version 3 (Collective Slip) to print GR slips.
My requirement is to print all the line items on single page (unless there is no room) .
However with this output type one line item is printed per page.
Does anyone manage to print items continously on the page without page break?
Is there any other output type/print version for that?
Well, the last option will be to change the print program and sapscript, but I am trying to avoid that...

External send (5) of GR slip (WE03) outputs slip to spool not sost

I am trying to get the GR slip to send an external email instead of printing. We already send Purchase Orders in this way, so I know that SCOT is set up correctly.
I have made changes in NACE for application ME. Condition record for output type WE03 Trans/Event WE, setting medium 5 Time 1 (I would like to trigger the sending of emails using RSNAST00 at a later time)
However, when I run RSNAST00 for Application ME, Output type WE03, and Transmission medium 5 the GR note is still printed and no entry appears in SOST.
We are using SAP 4.6C
Can anyone help please.

Hi,
As I understand your question, you need to set up an output type for printing Goods Receipt in Sales Order (RE) - perhaps when the RE order is saved. For this, you can follow the following steps. Also you need to take the help of an ABAPer to develop a form which prints as per your requirement.
For configuring the output, follow the steps
a. Go to SPRO>Sales and Distribution > Basic Function > Output Control > Define Output type.
b. Create a new output type (Eg: ZTRE)
c. Create a new Access Sequence and put in the required condition tables... The Key combination may be Document Type / Customer or Document Type / Sales Orgnaization / Distribution Channel. etc.
d. Assign the access sequence to the new output type.
e. Create a new ouput procedure and assign new output type to it.
f. Assign this new output procedure to the document type.
g. In Tcode: VV11 maintain the condition record for Output type ZTRE.
When the output type is created, a form and a program needs to be assigned to it so that the requirement of GR slip gets printed. You have to take the ABAper's help for the same. You have to mention the fields which have to be printed on the GR Slip. You can do the same for delivery document as well.
Else you can go to Tcode: NACE to do the same configuration. You have to select V1 for Sales documents.

Output type for gr/gi slip

Dear all,
I have done GR for two line items in MIGO and i have ticked the printing for gr/gri slip in general tab of hearder.
But if i go and check the MB90 for the print , system show only one line item GR/GI slip.
What may be the case , i missed . so GR/GI slip is not get printed for the 2 line item
i have selected individual slip in MIGO and i have the maintain the output condition record for the gr/gi slip as
trxn : NACE
application : ME
output type : WE03
trans.event type : WE
PRINT VER : 1 ( INDIVIDUAL SLIP)
PRINT ITEM : 1 (MATL DOC PRINT) FOR THE PLANT XXXX.
Pls tell me if any setting i missed or wronly updated

NEw output type for GR Slip

Hi Gurus,
The requirement is to set up a New GR slip by copying an existing GR slip from another System. I have identified the program and the Smart Form that needs to be copied. Can you please explain in detail the configuration settings that need to be done so that once the program and the Smart form are linked to the new output type, the GR slip can be operational. Also please let me know the transaction codes also.

As far as I am aware,
1. A new o/p type has to be created
2. Access sequence, can be used, if the existing ones fulfill the criterion(What would be the best combination for a GR Slip?) Otherwise a new one to be created.
3. Create a new condition table.
4. Create Condition records- Can you please let me know the transaction for creating the condition records?
5.Do a MIGO for the condition record combination maintained and see whether the Output type is getting
picked up.
Can you please let me know whether there is something that I have missed out?
