Grab Whole Page

Hi,
I'm wondering whether it's a tool to grab a whole page instead of grab in "Window, Selection, Screen..." ? Is there any tool to grab the page included the downward page that you need to scroll down and see?

JPG is not provided for that!!
What does that statement mean? That you can't grab an entire web page as a screen shot because part of the page can't be shown without scrolling?
If so, I already stated how to get the entire page above as a Web Archive.

we don't provide native support to allow you to dump whole pages to csv format. i'm assuming, by the way, that you're really just asking to see if it's possible to dump the contents of multiple report regions from a page to csv format. if i'm assuming correctly, the following trick/hack might work you:
1) create your page with the multiple report regions on it.
2) create another report region that returns the same data as your other report regions, but as one select statement.
3) set that last report region to allow for csv download
4) run your page and copy the url syntax for the csv download link that this last report region generates.
5) set this last report region to Conditionally display "Never"
6) add a link to your page that goes to the url you grabbed from your download link in step 4 (changing the hardcoded value for your particular session_id to the string "&SESSION.")
assuming you're happy with the way your region from step 2 dumped to csv format, the link just you've set up on your page should return those same results.

Can't print a graph on the whole page in landscape

Hello!
I have XY graph that I want to print on the whole page in landscape orientation (paper A4).
On the screen the graph is small, so I do resizing, appending image to report, and then printing.
After sending it to the printer I get preview (from the printer software) and see that the graph uses only approx. 5/6 of the page in the width, in other words the height of the graph takes the whole height of the page (21 cm) and the width of the graph leaves 5 cm of the page unused.
I tried to change the width and the height of the plot area to get proper ratio, but in vain.
If I set the height of the graph too large it goes beyond the page, but whatever I write to the width I always get 5 cm of the page unused on the right side. (not including 1 cm of the margin).
Note: surely, if you set small width you can get more space of the page unused, I'm talking about increasing the width of the graph.
Any ideas?
See attached for the vi. I tried to save it for 7.1 version but it can't, so you'll need LabView 8.0 to check it.
Also in attached you can find the page preview I get before it goes to printer.

It could be that you would need to install the entire LabVIEW 8.0.1 update rather than just the updated Run-Time Engine (RTE). Here is a link to the 8.0.1 update. If you download and install this version, you can then use the utility to mass compile or compile when you are prompted.

How to refresh a portlet without refreshing whole page?

hi
I have 3 jsp portlets on a page. Now, I can write some javascript code in a jsp and refresh it after a predetermined interval of time.
If i do this with the jsp portlet the whole page will get refreshed which is not something i want to do. i want only that jsp portlet to get refreshed.
Is it possible?
This actually is like having yahoo mail and hotmail both of them on the page and working with both of them simultaneously. Is it possible using portlets.

I think it is because I use a simple input button (created manually in the code), and you use an apex built-in submit button, so it submit the page.
But since I posted that solution, I have found a better way, that allow me to get upload status, it is very simple :
Create a file browse item :
Name : P3_FILE_BROWSE
Storage Type : Table WWV_FLOW_FILES
Post Element Text : <div id="upload_status"></div>
Bind event on the element that will trigger the upload

In addition to the last poster's suggestion - just so you know, it also depends on the email program the recipient uses as to how they will see any attachments - for instance, when I am using my Yahoo Mail, I am absolutely unable to view any attachment within the browser window - Yahoo forces me to download it; there is no way for me to check it (like a preview) to see if I want to download it or not.
And, FWIW: the window shown in the screenshot does not show on my version of Mail 5.1 (which is the latest for 10.7.2); the only one similar shows when viewing a message received with an attachment, not while sending one. So that must be a different version.

You can make the collages easily if you have iWork. Just open a letter sized page in landscape mode and drag the photos onto the page, rotate and postiion as necessary. Then do a Print ➙ PDF ➙ Save PDF to iPhoto to get a 200 dpi jpeg version of the Pages page into iPhoto. From there you can add it to your book and use a blank page with the option to have an image as the backbround.
If you have a 3rd party image editor that supports layers you can create the collage with it.

How do i get my image to fill the whole page in pages

I am making an epub book and would like the image on my cover page to fill the whol page without the large white borders around it. How can I do that in pages. I know you can't export a document as an epub if it has floating objects in it but i don;t know if thats a problem for this application or not. Thanks

Menu > File > Page Setup > create a custom paper size of 9" x 13.5" > set all margins to 0 > Format > Any Printer > OK
Create your custom cover as a jpeg and crop to 9" x 13.5" or proportional pixel equivalent.
Import your cover onto the first page of your ebook.
Inspector > Wrap > Object Placement > Inline...
Stretch cover image to fill the page.
Menu > File > Export > ePub > Use first page as book cover image
Haven't tried this myself, but this is what is recommended.

How to display the search result without reloading the whole page

HI,
I have separate fragments for Search Box to enter keyword and Search Result to display the result. Also I have different sections within the page to put these fragments. So how could I display the results without reloading the whole page.
Also if I have next button in my search result area, how could I display the search results in next page without reloading all other sections present in our page. Please let me know if any service or idoc function present such that result could be shown in search result section without reloading whole page.
Please let me know how to restrict page reload for every action within a page.

This is default behaviour of the template of your space. You can create a new page template and than you can create a region for the search results.
Or you can create a custom taskflow were you use the webcenter taskflows to search for the space.

Apple has removed over 95 features in Pages 5.
It has also introduced multiple file formats that are incompatible with each over as well as everything else, and numerous bugs.
Pages '09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder.

How do i translate a whole page on my macbook pro

i am in france and i am trying to get on a bank account and i know on regular computers that you can translate a whole page by pressing one button at the top of the screen but the macbook is not like that. can i do it some other way.

You can use Google Translate Plugin for Safari.
1. Just tell it your language preference
2. When other language web page opens, it prompts you - if you want to translate or not.

OK, we've got it!
What is happening is that when you use Microsoft's save as PDF in Word, the font isn't embedded even though the font is tagged to allow embedding. Furthermore, Microsoft doesn't properly put the font name into the PDF file such that Acrobat or Reader can readily find the font installed on your system such that the text can be properly displayed and/or printed. Acrobat and Reader attempt to display and/or print the text using a “substitution font” and of course, as they say, YMMV (“your mileage may vary”)!
I personally submitted the report of this problem (both the embedding and the font name problem) to Microsoft. They acknowledge the bug, tried a fix and provided me a build with it, but it wasn't right. Maybe they will ultimately fix it, maybe they won't. We don't know yet. We do know that if it is fixed, it will be fixed only for Office 2013 (problem occurs with all Office applications since they use the same PDF generation code) and thus such a fix won't help you.
Adobe Acrobat Standard and Acrobat Pro both provide an Adobe PDFMaker plug-in to Office applications (including full support for Office 2010) that adds an Acrobat Toolbar as well as a Save as Adobe PDF menu item. The resultant PDF file fully supports embedding of OpenType CFF, TrueType, and Type 1 fonts and in many other ways produces much superior PDF with a full range of PDF generation options not available with the Microsoft PDF. (Note that beginning with Office 2013, Microsoft does not support Type 1 fonts in Office documents at all, even for existing documents!) The Acrobat Office functions are widely used and respected in the end user community and whatever “issues” there are (all software has “issues” of some type - it is a matter of how many and how severe), you should be in much better shape for PDF production that with what you currently are using.
Good luck and let us know if this resolves your problems. (Note that you can download and install a free fully-functional 30 trial of Acrobat Pro to assure that it meets your needs! You can then buy a license and activate what you already have installed.)

Can't move icons in itunes APPS only whole pages move.

In the last IOS 6.? I could log my iphone into itunes, go to the iphone APPS and there I could move single apps or even whole pages around to get them like I wanted.
In iOS 7 trying the same situaltion I was only able to move whole pages around. When I tried to select a single icon to move, it still just moved the whole page.
I looked for instructions but found nothing on how to move a single icon from one page to another.

I finally figured this out. In itunes open the apps page and give it time to popluate for your device. Once the pages are there, double click on the page you want to deal with. Then click on the app you want to move (no dragging yet). It will appear as a single app which you can then drag and drop on the page of your choice. Works really well after you get the hang of it but no instructions or clues from Apple anywhere on how to do it.

If an app does not behave as expected, try closing the app completely and reboot the iPad. It appears as though you have the original iPad. It helps if you list your iPad model and the iOS that you are running.
Tap the home button once. Then tap the home button twice and the recents tray will appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button twice.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
