Grace period setting

Can I set grace period to unlimit? When users have over quota, msgs are queued in the channel. After that lets Notices keyword to bounce messages when msg queue time expire.
Thanks

Now we set grace period for 5 days and Notices is 2 days. We found that some msgs are queued less than 2 days, because grace period expire. That I understand grace period will start to count after user touch the theshold like now we set at 90% and will reset counter after delete mail until below theshold.
And messages bounce after grace period expire eventhough user is not over quota ( around 90% - 95%)
I would like to set when over quota mail will queue for 2 days eventhough grace period expire.

  • The grace period for the Remote Desktop Session Host server has expired

<p>I'm running Windows Server 2012, we only have 1 server and it's a DC.  I'm trying to RD to the server from my Windows 7 laptop. It was working fine on Friday but when I came in on Monday I got message saying that 'The remote session was disconnnected
because there are no Remote Desktop License Servers available to provide a license'
So after a bit of digging I found out my 'grace period' had expired, so ordered a new license which I got today, installed this all ok but still i cannot connect via RD I get the same message....went into the RD License Diagnoser and it said the problem
    was as follows
'The grace period for the Remote Desktop Session Host server has expired, but the RD Session Host server has not been configured with any license servers. Connections to the RD Session Host server will be denied unless a license server is configured for
    the RD Session Host server.'
    Suggested Resolution as follows
Configure a license server for the Remote Desktop Session Host server. If you have an existing license server, specify that license server for the RD Session Host Server. Otherwise, install RD Licensing on a computer on your network and Configure RD Session
    Host Server to use it.'
I cannot figure out how to do this as I cannot find the RD Session Host Server tool.
Can any of you lovely people help me please

    Hello,
Best option would be to assign the license server by using AD GPO. Youl will need to configure the following:
    Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Remote Desktop Services\Remote Desktop Session Host\Licensing
    and define the settings for:
Use the specified Remote Desktop License Server
Set the Remote Desktop Licensing mode
Then assign the policy tho your server.

  • My Media Encoder CC grace period ran out - now stuck

    Hey there forum-goers,
So my grace period for using Adobe Media Encoder CC expired some time recently while I was out of action due to illness. Upon trying to open the program it informs me I need a CC subscription - however I only need use of the program for about two to four days (holiday weekend, after all so may not have time). The caveat is a single month subscription is $75!!! Is there no other way to use this single program without forking over this insane amount? I have no need for anything else that comes in this "awesome package".
While speaking on the phone with an sales agent I was told I need the full plan to be able to access the Media Encoder CC, and they offered no alternatives or suggestions - sales being sales.
I did try my Media Encoder CS6 for the task but it doesn't have the quicktime formats I need, which is why I went and used M.E.CC in the first place.
I also asked for a brief extension to the trial but was told a big fat NO, which is unsurprising. Adobe gotta eat, after all.
So here I am asking for help from the community, because community is what I believe in and I'm sure someone has been in this or a similar boat before.

Are you sure that is media encoder CC though - because I tried the Media Encoder CS6 and it didn't have quicktime as an option, and downloading plugins and whatnot didn't seem to work. However I already have profiles and everything set up with Media Encoder CC so that is the one I need. If that is confirmed then surely 20 is far more manageable than 75.

  • Adobe Live Cycle 8 grace Period Problem

I had Adobe Acrobat ver. 5 which I was unable to uninstall due to some corrupt files.
Then I tried to install Adobe Acrobat Professional ver 8 . It popped up an error message that You already have a version of adobe which is to be removed. Hence I formatted my C: drive and then successfully installed Adobe Professional Ver 8 . It was a trial version for 30 days.
But when I tried opening Adobe Live Cycle which comes with it, a message popped up saying that Grace Period is over . Please download e-license. My friends who earlier had installed Adobe Professional from the CD are not getting any messages .
Any Ideas to solve the problem.
    P

I think you can do this two ways:
    1. Use radio buttons and chnage the appearence to look like checkboxes
    2. Add some Java script to the checkboxes to set the other checkboxes to null (use the rawValue property)

  • MiniSAP licences, grace period.

    Hi everyone,
could somebody answer why isn't the 90 day licence available anymore?
I could read the following on the downloads page
    (https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/nw-downloads):
Update: SAP's developer products include a 30-day grace period. The 90-day evaluation allowance is no longer available at this time. Please remember to backup your projects before your copy expires.
We used it for University Education, but this change can endanger the continously education.
    Best regards

Afraid guys you'll either have to keep re-installing every 30 days or create a "re-useable" / snapshotted Virtual Machine.
I have a feeling that "Corporation Greed" prevalent EVERYWHERE these days --not just SAP is to try and milk every last cent out of us.
They are obviously pushing forward to try and get us to take out subscriptions at 1,000 USD a time (and that only works if you are in Germany or the USA).
The software evaluations have also been very useful in demoing to customers whether to use such things as Portals, Web dynpro etc etc and in consequence have gained a lot of new business for SAP.
Why not (although Corporations IMO NEVER EVER compromise-- We win and you lose is their only motto)  allow a single 180 Day license -- simple to implement and enough time for most people to develop and demo typical projects. A re-installation every half year wouldn't be too terrible either.
30 days in general for this type of software is not long enough -- most of use who use this do so in OUR OWN TIME which means evenings and sometimes weekends. Also this is a complicated product - not like a single invoice application or typical trial software.
Incidently the Transport system DOES work in the Minisap system although it's fiddly to set up so you should be able to re-import your projects into a new system.
The worst think is when re-starting with a newly installed system is that everything gets re-compiled when you firt use it.

  • Apple Configurator - Passcode - Grace Period for Device Lock

    Help.
I am using 40 new iPads in a classroom, using Apple Configurator. I set a passcode to the student profile, and the Grace Period for Device Lock is set to 4 hours. However, every time the iPad is locked, it requires a passcode to unlock it, even if immediately turned back on. The grace period function is not working. Anyone else have a problem with this?
    -Dan

    HI nsdjoey,
    Many thanks for your reply.
Hopefully this will be an update within Apple Configurator soon. The configurator has the potentail to be a great tool but lacks soem really basic features.
I'll take a look at making an encrypted backup in iTunes, although none of my iPads are showing up as devices within iTunes. Maybe becasue they are in supervise mode ?
Also just noticed that iPad 20 is not appearing in the Configurator even though its conected and lit up in the sync cab. I've change leads and ports in the cab but getting nothing.
    Thanks for your advice.

  • Line Item Grace Periods  Vs Min Days in Arrears(Acct)

    Hi All,
While configuring Dunning @ FBMP, there are two fields which serve almost the same purpose. They are,
Min. Days in arrears (acct)......If we give say here 3 days, then 3 days will be added to the due date for determining whether dunning can be generated for an open invoice.
Line Item grace periods...........If we give say here 3 days, then 3 days will be added to the due date for determining whether dunning can be generated for an open invoice.
It is observed that if you put equivalent or less than the number of days in Min Days in Arrears field as compared to the number of days entered against Line Item field, then no dunning will be generated.
On the other hand if you put more no of days aginst Min days in arreas field as compared to the no of days put against Line item grace periods field, then the dunning will be generated on the invoice date plus no of days mentioned in Min days in arrears field.
Could any body throw some light on why this happens. More specifically:
    1. What is the basic difference between these two fields and their significance for Dunning. I am pretty clear about the meaning of  Min days in arreas filed, but not about the other field's significance.
    2. Why the system behaves in the fashion that I have described above for different combinations of figures entered in these two fields.
The brief scenario is as below for easy reference:
Details    Min Days in Arr   Line item gr Pd   Dunning Possible
    Days            3                       3                    Not Possible
    Days            3                       2                    Possible
    Days            2                       3                    Not Possible
Please throw some light on this.
    Regards
    Sudhakar
    But it is observed that,

    Hello,
Do not leave grace period blank or less than days in
arrears if you do not want to include items in dunning level "0" in your
    dunning notice.
As per the documentation, the number of grace days (line item) and
days in arrears (first dunning level) you enter will normally be
identical. So if your days in arrears for level 1 is 14, you should also
indicate grace days of 14.  Otherwise, if you leave the grace days
blank or less than 14, the system will include also items in arrears
earlier than 14 days (level 1).
    As per online documentation:
Grace period shorter than days in arrears
In this case there may be items which are overdue but which do not
reach a certain dunning level due to the days in arrears. Although
these items are printed out, they receive the dunning level zero.
These items alone cannot trigger a dunning notice.

  • Grace period calculation Issue

    Hi Gurus,
in oba3 i created a tolerance group for which the grace period is 3.
i assigned this tolerance group to my customer,so that the due date is extended to 3 days from the due date.
i have a payment term which gives 5% cash discount when paid within 15 days and item due in 15 days.
i have a customer invoice whose baseline date is 18.08.2010. The item should be due only on 18.08.2010 + 15 + 3 = 05.09.2010, with the cash discount.
    05.09.2010 is a sunday.
my query is, my customer decides to pay the item on next business day,06.09.2010,monday and looses his cash discount. which should not have happend.
how can we solve this issue.ie, the due date calculation by adding grace period should exclude weekends and public holidays.
what i have tried is, maintaining entry in obba for my house bank which calculates the value date.
but it didn't prove succesufull. i am using f-28 to manually clear the customer invoice created using f-22.
someone sleep over this and help me
    thanks and regards,

  • Deployed a new computer with MDT 2013, but Windows licensing did not give me an initial grace period

    Hi all,
Strange issue. I have created a Windows 7 x64 gold image to be deployed. When creating the image, I allowed Sysprep to rearm Windows. I've deployed about 10 computers in the past week and everything has worked fine.
Yesterday, I deployed another two computers. One works fine, but when I logged into the second one, I was greeted with the you need to activate Windows now screen. I was confused so I ran slmgr /dlv and sure enough my license status was not "Initial
Grace Period" but instead "Notification." (by the way, it did show remaining rearms as 2, which is expected since it was rearmed with sysprep when capturing the image, so we know it was in fact rearmed).
So my question is how and why did this happen? I was in a hurry so I just ran slmgr /rearm to burn off another rearm. I plan on putting in a KMS server at the end of the week, but I'm worried if I should redeploy the image to this machine since something
    appears to be wacky.
Anyone seen this before or have any thoughts on the matter?

Either way, it was correct when I checked it today so maybe it corrected itself after Windows was installed? Not sure how else to explain this one.
    Me either.
After Windows is installed, if you are domain-joining, the clock will sync to your Domain Controller.
If not domain-joined, Windows will try to sync to time.windows.com (or similar).

  • Is there a grace period for apple email address?

Hey guys I was wondering if there was a grace period for apple email address yourname@'insert apple domain name'.com once you deactivate or delete it before it can be used again?
for example with phone numbers for certain companies it takes 2yrs once the number is disconnected for it to be available to be used again.
Which leads into why i'm asking this, as the reason for this is I had an apple ID/email address that i used when working for an apple reseller a few years ago and when i left i was asked to delete it. which i did but i would like to use the yourname part of it again with @icloud.com but its saying the email address is already in use.
Now i know what you might say that someone else could be using in but thats is very unlikely as i have a very unique name plus i also know that apple in their infinite wisdom kept all address ending in @me.com and @apple.com active in the icloud change over to allow association between @me.com accounts and @icloud.com accounts and i believe the later is the cause of my fustration.
If there is no grace period is there anyway to prove that i was [email protected] and delete that record so that i can setup [email protected] as the apple ID in question are different?

  • Grace period

    Hi All,
is this statement true in SAP B1:
Grace periods to be added to the AR aging calculation is supported
    Thanks,
    Edu

    Hi John,
For your reference, there is a function 'Tolerance Days' within Business One which acts as a 'grace period':
You can define tolerance days in payment terms you are going to link
to customers with whom you have special payment agreements. This can allow all invoices sent to that customer to have this special period
of grace. This could be for a number of reasons eg your good relations
with the customer. The number of Tolerance Days is subtracted from the Date calculated according to the field 'start From'. The Months and Days defined in the payment terms are then added to this date.
    Eg
Issue an A/R invoice with posting date 10.05.03
In payment terms linked to the invoice the due date is based on the
posting date, the calculation begins on the month start, 10 Tolerance
days are defined +1 month +20 days.
Invoice due date calculated as follows:
Start From Month Start > 01.06.03
    10 Tolerance days > 22.05.03
    +1 month > 22.06.03
    +20 days > 12.07.03
    note:
In case Payment Dates are defined in BP master Data, the due date of the invoice will be determined by these payment dates rather than by the
    payment terms definition above.

    Hi all,
I just got my Logic Pro 7.1 today, version which I ordered a few days back. Does anybody know if I have to pay for the update to Logic Pro 7.2 or if there's a grace period? It's very annoying if I have to pay for an update.
    Thanks for any informations
    Baz

This not for us PPC users or users without Pro tools
Mostly for GARAGEBAND users wanting to switch to PRO
why they call it pro, i don't understand
after $75 Australian dollars and i still have to buy another plug-in to make logic work properly
what kind of morons are sitting behind Emagic seats right now, and if it still the Emagic guys then i feel sorry for you guys
Every other Pro DAW has this feature and it comes with the app with the price you pay, even the applications that don't call their-self pros has it
    GOD !!!
you can't even change a tempo more than 5 bpm up or down without regretting to buy logic
the future of logic doesn't look great after all (i was so happy when apple took over and brought logic 7) it hasn't even that long and all the happiness are turning down after each update and each time i open the application)

  • Grace period for iTunes Plus?

In the past couple of months (as recently as five days ago), I've purchased some non-Plus iTunes albums. Now, several of them are being offered as Plus upgrades to me.
Is there any grace period for newly purchased items, or do I just need to swallow a $3-or DRM penalty for buying something on its release date?

at least be pointed to some documentation about this
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1711
"Can I upgrade previously purchased music to iTunes Plus?
Yes. Any available upgrades will be shown on the Upgrade to iTunes Plus page. You can upgrade all of your items at once by using the Buy All button. This replaces all eligible previous purchases with iTunes Plus versions of the same items. You can also choose to make individual upgrades by clicking the Buy button to the right of each item. Song upgrades are available for 0.30 USD, video upgrades for 0.60 USD, and albums for 30 percent of the album price. The counter to the right of the "Upgrade to iTunes Plus" link in the Quick Links box will indicate when additional eligible content become available."
