Graph in smartform/SAPscript

Hello,
Is it possible to print graph in smartform or sap script?
If yes, can anybody giude me how to do that?

Migration of Smartforms / SAPScript forms from SAP R/3 4.7 to SAP ECC 6.0

Dear Members,
We are in process of re-implementing SAP with SAP ECC 6.0 from SAP R/3 version 4.7
We have created many layouts using SAPScripts & SAP Smartforms in SAP R/3.
My question is, are there any migration tools available in SAP ECC 6.0 in the form of function modules, BAPI etc to convert existing forms of Smartforms / SAPScripts created in SAP R/3 4.7 to SAP ECC 6.0 ?
Or do we have to design all existing forms created in R/3 once agin in SAP ECC 6.0 ?
We request our dear members to share their views on the above mentioned problems faced by us in the re-implementation project

Dear Friend,
As per our consultant's view, we are not upgrading from SAP R/3 4.7 to SAP ECC. We are re-implementing; that is, we are going to implement SAP ECC as if we are doing it for the first time ever in our company. This is due to drastic organizational changes happend in our company. So, upgrading from R/3 is not feasible solution, according to our consultants.
So, we have to re-configure all settings in SPRO manually in ECC based on our new business scenario. There will be new company codes, plants, business area etc., which will be totally different from existing R/3 system.
But the template definitions of the existing forms maintained in SAPScript / Smartforms will remain same.
There are 50+ forms (boith SAPScript / Smartforms put together) and manual re-designing of all those forms will be tedious within the scheduled date of GO Live.
In that case, to avoid re-designing, what is the best method that can prevent manual re-design of Smartforms?
For SAPscripts, I got some good news from our some of our dear forum members.

Can u please suggest me the name of table
I have already used STXH table but it is not giving me the all text elements
I mean i want that if i enter some formane ...i should get all the text elment contained in it

layout name is SD_PICK_LAB_TXT and Driver program name is   RVADKE01
layout name is SD_PICK_COLL and Driver program name is          RVADSK01

Dinamic Graph in smartforms

Hi,
I need to create a dinamic graph in smartforms. I can to import the bitmap via transaction se78 and to create a new graphic windowns in the smartforms and put it the bitmap, but how can I do it if the graphic is dinamic? Is there a function module that generates the image (.bmp) for the graph?

The graph (bar chart) will be generated from smartform item data. Then, I need to generate the image (.bmp) for the graph based on the values. After, I need to load this image to the smartform.
Is this possible?

There are Limitataions for PE51.You can use only for HR module specifically for Payroll.

Hi Chika,
first try to find out ABAP function module name which is representing your smartforms (via TA smartforms->put your form name -> Display -> menu: Environment->Function module name). Then find corresponding function group where this function module belongs. Afterward put this ABAP function group name into TA UCCHECK.
I believe this would work.

Maximum number of pages in Smartforms/Sapscript

Hi
I have to print some very large invoices (between 1000 and 3000 pages) and it does not work with Adobe forms.
So I would like to know approximately the maximum number of pages that it is possible to print in Smartforms and Sapscript. And then if possible migrate my form.

Hi Julien,
There is only a max page number assigned to a user profile, that means
you can restrict the max page number per user and printer.
There is a possibility to restrict the maximum number of pages printed
as described in Section '2.4 Output authorizations' of the following
SAP Note: 119147.
Using authorization object S_SPO_PAGE, you can define that users may
only print a certain page number range on certain devices.
To activate these checks the parameter: rspo/auth/pagelimit must be
set to 1 and you have to define an interval with leading 0s as described
in the Note.

I am not sure whether you can do it using a smart form, but in report generally you can have some graphical display, But the transaction would be usefull to you.

Are Barcodes supported better in Adobe solution than Smartforms/SapScript

With SAPScript and SmartForms, it was not possible to print barcodes from SAP on Hewlett Packard ( HP ) printers without having a DIMM module installed on the printer itself. See OSS note 5196.
I hope that in Adobe solution, the barcode support is no longer dependent on SAP's device settings but Adobe supports barcodes on HP natively? Any experiences?
Is there a list of supported barcode types available?

Your advice was not quite what I was looking for. But gave you 2 points however for general interest. You see, I want be sure, that printing barcodes from Adobe on HP printers is natively supported. It was not the case with SapScript and SmartForms. Your advice was basically concerning how to have barcodes in Adobe forms. You see, in SapScript and Smartforms you could not be sure on What-You-Get-Printed because some features like barcodes and certain fonts were device dependent.
If you personnally have an HP printer (which model?) near to you, could you please make a sample Adobe form having a barcode and print it on that HP printer of yours. Then for your interest you can make the same test from SapScript and SmartForm and you'll notice what I have meant. I'll grant you with maximum points if perform those tests.
I currently not have Adobe designer installed, so I am not able to verify from the tool itself which barcodes are supported in Adobe. Therefore I was hoping somebody would provide me a list of supported barcode types (like C128 was supported according to those OSS notes you provided). And can you adjust barcode hight and data display (the text that you can see below the barcode)?
Any SAP Adobe staff member like Markus Meisl could easily answer this question.

China cashflow report/balance sheet available as Smartforms/Sapscript?

Hi Gurus,
We have EHP6. There are the following PDF Forms available for China local requirement
Cashflow report/Balance sheet/Voucher print/Ledger print
IDCN_CASHFLOW, IDCN_ACC_BAL, IDCN_ACC_DOC, IDCN_BSAIS
The issue is, we do not have ADS installed, so we are looking if these forms are
available for Sapscript or Smartforms. Are they?

However just to clarify
You created a multiprovider based on the virtual provider?
The use of the baldep flag is used to move debit liabilities to assets etc and it does this via a virtual cube
The virtual cube has a function module which reads the base GL cube then in memory and in abap plays aroudn with the data moving the values between FSV nodes and then throws it at the users
You cannot do this in query desginer without doing a IF statement hardcoded for every entry in the FSV (ie not practical)
the function module hanging of the virtual cube is hard coded with the cube name in the import/export parameters of the function module and the code itself has hard coded field names in it!
So my advice - try and feed the standard FIGL cube with your data - thn use the std virtual cube on top of that
Otherwise you are going to spend the next 3 months deep inside the virtual cube function module trying to copy to z version and changing all the code line by line
(he says from personal experience of trying to get this to work with a bespoke cube - I gave up!)

Graphs in Smartforms ?

I believe printing graphs (bar charts with values changing depending on data) is possible in Smartforms.
can anyone give some more hints on how to go about this ?
I tried serching the net and SDN but did not get anything close to the solution.

Additional Fonts for your SMARTFORMS
You can create additional fonts and style with transaction SMARTSTYLES
This can then be define in the paragraph and character formats, which you can then be assign to texts and fields in the Smart Form.
The character formats includes effects such as superscript, subscript, barcode and font attributes.

What is the difference between DME and forms (smartform,sapscript)?

rfumsv00 program doesnot give me the option to output data onto standard SAP forms for India butit gives me an option to generate DME files. Does that mean I can generate the form required as per legal reqiurements using DME?Will the output of the DME be just like the form output? How to view a DME output?

Please go through the Dev guide initial chapters and most of your queries should be answered. In short, OAF scores over forms majorly becauase the pages created in OAF are considerably lighter if they had been created using Forms developer. All you need is to share a URL to your clients and they can access the pages without installing anything else on their machines. OAF has its own implementation of most of the functionalities provided by forms. In this way it is able to provide an alternative. The details can be sought from the guide.

Company-based Logo on SMARTFORMS/Sapscript

Hello,
Yes dynamic logos can be displayed based on the company code.
The better solution will be maintain a Z table which will contain all the fiels you need to do the validation and also the logo name.
Eg table
table z_logo.
fields
company code
logo name
and now maintain the logo in the sap system, so now write an select query with where clause company code and get the logo name.
Now pass the logo name as &ZXYZ& in the graphic window.
please note that &ZXYZ& is the value that had been retrieved from Z-table that you had created, and field is logo name.
