Graph legend and print options
When building a graph using the graphTable bean, I'd like to place the legend below the graph instead of above. How can this be done?
Also, the graph plots a number of lines, each of which is rendered in a different color. Is there a way to make the graph lines cross-hatched, or dotted, or something else so that when printed in black and white the user is able to associate the graph line with the legend?
Hi,
Take a look at SAP note #1049778. For recent releases, the device type HP4350 should be already available in transaction SPAD n the system.
Also as per SAP note #1049778, most of the new device types that were developed within the SAP Printer Vendor program (SAP note #1130927) support the new print options.(see SAP note #1103422)

Hi mafiose15,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
Restoring your iPod to factory settings is the best way to try and get it back to working order. You can use the instructions below to restore it:
How to restore iPod
Verify that you have an active Internet connection, because you may need to download new versions of the iTunes and iPod Software.
Download and install the latest version of iTunes if necessary.
Open iTunes. Connect your iPod to your computer using the USB or FireWire cable that came with your iPod.
After a few moments, your iPod will appear in the Source panel in iTunes.
Select your iPod in the Source panel. You will see information about your iPod appear in the Summary tab of the main iTunes window.
Click Restore.
If you are using a Mac, you will be asked to enter an administrator’s name and password.
A progress bar will appear on the computer screen, indicating that stage one of the restore process has begun. When this stage is done, iTunes will present one of two messages with instructions specific to the iPod model you are restoring.
Disconnect iPod and connect it to iPod Power Adapter (typically applies to older iPod models).
Leave iPod connected to computer to complete restore (typically applies newer iPod models).
During stage two of the restore process, the iPod displays an Apple logo as well as a progress bar at the bottom of the display. It is critical that the iPod remain connected to the computer or iPod power adapter during this stage.
Note: The progress bar may be difficult to see, because the backlight on the iPod display may be off.
After stage two of the restore process is complete, the iTunes Setup Assistant window will appear. It will ask you to name your iPod and choose your syncing preferences, as it did when you connected your iPod for the first time.
You can find the instructions in this article:
Restoring iPod to factory settings

Thanks for any reply.
Shambhu MitraYou cna do this with the security options in the PDF file itself, which you can set with Adobe Acrobat, assuming you have access to the security options in the first place.

I downloaded ibooks to my ipad so that I can save PDF files to ibooks but I do not get an "open in ibooks" message to select. When I choose the icon, I only get mail or print option.
Where are these PDFs coming from? What do you mean by "save PDF files to ibooks" and then "I do not get an 'open ibooks' message? If they are saved to ibooks (I assume you used itunes to save a dragged in PDF to the ibooks panel in apps) then you should be able to open and view them in ibooks. If they are not in ibooks (I'm assuming this is the case, since you want to get an "open in ibooks" option from the *share* icon, right?) then where are they on the mini, which app?

Hi all,
The device type HP LJ 4350 enables print options and allow us to set which paper tray is to used in a specific form.
However, our usual supplier does not sell this device type anymore.
Does anyone know another device type that could allow tray configuration in the SPAD transaction?

Need a vi or a recipe for graph setup and printing
Has anyone got a vi that given a xy graph reference will twiddle the right properties to make an xy graph on a front panel look like it ought to in a published paper. White background, black lines, transparent legends, centered title, good fonts and font size etc. etc...
Also, if possible a way to print it to a file or printer so that what you see is what you get.
Thanks
LV 8.6 on Windoze XPClueless 1,
All of these properties can be customized except for creating a transparent legend transparent.
The font and font size can be easy changed by selecting the graph so it has the moving dash line around it and setting the font and size in the font menu. The defaut for this menu is 13pt Application Font.
The title of the graph can be centered simply by clicking and dragging it the the desired position. By default the title should snap to the right, center, and left justified position around the graph.
The colors of the major and minor grid lines can be access by right clicking on the graph, selecting Properties, and navigating to the Scales tab.
Changing to the plot background color is slightly more difficult because the property is not accessable the the Graph Properties dialog window.
To access this property right click on the graph and select Create » Property Node » Plot Area » Colors » BG Color
Place this property node on the block diagram
Right click on the property node and select Change all to Write
Right click on the block diagram to bring up the Functions Palette and select Dialog & User Interface » Color Box Constant
Wire the Color Box Constant to the input of the property node
Click on the Color Box Constant to bring up the color picker and select whatever color you desire. This wll be the background color for you graph.
The easiest way to export the graph to another program is copy and paste it. If you want to make an image of the graph so you can access it in a word processor I recommend copy and pasting it into Paint and saving it.

Print PDF with special print options of Canon IR printer
Hi,
We have a collection (db driven) of PDF documents that we want to send to our network printers. Some document need a hole punch of some other specific printeroptions of a Canon IR printer.
The ideal solutions is a windows application where i could define virtual printers with their print options (pdf and printer specific).
Eg:
A user creates in a the windows app a virtual printer with name and print options
- FastPunch: Printer IR5570 with hole punch
- Fast: Printer IR5570
- Color: IR C4080
- ColorBooklet: IR C4080 with booklet options
When the app starts its batch it will look at de db and find rows with an PDF and the name of a virtual printer. The documents are printed with specific printer preferences.
Does someone has experience with such an solution? Tips?
Someone wants to make this in vb.net (or c#)? What cost?
gtx, PierreI have downloaded the Acrobat SDK but I haven't really waded through the documentation or samples yet. I've only been working on this project for about 3 days now and not full time. This isn't the highest priority at work. I've worked a bit with the adobe reader control and that looks like it has some promise.
I have two significant problems:
1) I don't want the user to see any windows appear other than my console application. That way I have it working right now, Acrobat is required and appears minimized while the file is spooled and then is closed after spooling completes. Not so horrible but I'd like to get away from it if possible. To print the file right now I'm using the startprocess module or something (new version of shell I think). I'm starting the pdf with the verb "Printto" and that tells Acrobat to print to a printer that I specify.
2)Biggest problem. I have no reliable way to change the number of copies or any other print settings. I am not willing to write a program that spools a single copy multiple times just to get multiple copies. Currently my program uses rundll to open a printer preferences dialog, and SendKeys to modify the print settings. This means that the computer cannot be used while automated printing is occurring.
Right now the program's only saving grace is that it allows the user to be ignorant of the job settings so that all the user has to do is indicate an item number and quantity and walk away (hoping nothing changes the focus and derails SendKeys - but we know that kind of thing never happens in XP :P ) -

PO output with mail, fax and print
I have created a PO with message type medium 5 (i.e. External send).
Now I go inside 'Communication method' and I can see communication strategy field, I select EML there (i.e EMAIL, FAX, PRINT).
Now after saving PO is getting mailed and also fax is working, but it is not printing out.
1. Is there any separate settings required for print out?
If I select medium as print out then print is working.
Please advice.
ThanksCan you please explain more please?
1. Is this possible for PO output?
2. I have Email,Fax and print option, then if email goes then other two will not work?
3.Where the print will come, is this the printer mentioned in the communication method?
4.Where can I get the configuration steps for this?
Please advice. -
Develop a form and print program using VBAP, VBAK, MRKT.
I have 2 tables VBAK [fields: VBELN, ERDAT, ERNAM, AUDAT, VBTYP, VKORG] and VBAP [Fields: POSNR, MATNR, CHARG, WAERK] and In output(form) i need the following fields,
Output table:
-VBELN
-ERDAT
-VKORG
-POSNR
-MATNR
-MAKTX <- this field is from table MAKT. (I need the Material descriptions too for all the materials.)
Form Layout should have Header, Logo (SAP ENJOY), Main, Footer.
Problem is that i need footer only after the End of Complete data in Main Window, thats is footer should be placed only in last window. How should i do that ?
Logic which i thot to make the print program is : First declare an internal table itab1 with VBAP, VBAP using the above fields from two tables and fetch the product based on matnr.
declare one internal table itab2 and select the records from the table makt by checking the condition itab1 is not initial.
sample code.
IF ITAB1 IS NOT INITIAL.
SELECT FIELD LIST FROM MAKT INTO TABLE ITAB2 WHERE MATNR EQ ITAB1-MATNR.
ENDIF.
hope this shuld work. ?????Hi

CONTROL_FORM function
The print program is used to print forms. The program retieves the necesary data from datbase tables, defines the order of in which text elements are printed, chooses a form for printing and selects an output device and print options.
Function modules in a printprogram:
When you print a form you must used the staments OPEN_FORM and CLOSE_FORM. To combine forms into a single spool request use START_FORM and END_FORM.
To print textelements in a form use WRITE_FORM. The order in which the textelements are printed, is determined by the order of the WRITE_FORM statements. Note: for printing lines in the body, you can also use the WRITE_FORM_LINES function module.
To transfer control command to a form use CONTROL_FORM.
