Hi:
You have to install this driver...
http://h20566.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/psi/swdDetails/?sp4ts.oid=6431933&sp...
You may have to manually install the driver if the auto install doesn't work.
Note:  If you want to run Windows 7, it has to be Windows 7 64 bit because Intel did not develop a Windows 7 32 bit graphics driver for any notebooks with the Pentium N or Celeron N processors.
You did not mention what bit version of W7 you installed.

  • GX700 Display/Graphics adapter problem

I've recently purchased MSI GX700 Performance edition and found an intresting problem: I can't choose any other refresh rate than 59Hz.
It's annoying, but I still can play games and so-on I just have to edit game preferences... But it is relly annoying.
Any1 else having same problems? I have searched a lot and almost all laptop manufacturers has same kind of problems and atleast DELL has replaced whole laptop as it is clealy broken.
As drivers I have all the latest MSI drivers and as graphics drivers I have 169.28 forceware from laptopvideo2go. Thanks in advance.

I would visit the Battlefield forums and support pages as well. You may be able to set a launch parameter to force a certain refresh rate.  Many games came be configured for special launch options(may be a special parameter set in the target field).

  • New graphics adapter causing color management problem

My graphics adapter failed and I just replaced it with a new  Radeon 9800 Pro graphics adapter. Now all photos I open, .RAW, . JPG, .TIF, are trashed. They appear to be over saturated. This incorrect color is the same in CS3 Photoshop, Bridge & Lightroom beta 3; however if I bring the same photo up in ACDSee, Windows Viewer, or Photoshop and Bridge from my laptop the color is correct. If I bring up a photo with the colors oversaturated and do a "save for the web" the preview of the photo has the correct colors. Crazy! Color management is set for North American Prepress 2. So far I have totally removed CS3 and reinstalled  and downloaded the latest display drivers for the graphics adapter. Anyone have any ideas?

You mean to say I spent $250.00 for my Eye1 calibrator for nothing?
Oy! (Slapping my forehead in mock horror!).
Actually, I'm glad I have it.
I noticed that Win7, as installed, seemed to know what to do when I chose the photo profile as I configured the OS. I looked at the gray screen I chose for background color (better to keep track of drifting) looked pretty neutral. But I ran the eye one anyway and could hardly notice the difference. But lately, I do see differences as when for instance, the OS does not run the profile (which happens enough I have a workaround to make Win7 go get it).

  • Your Computer does not contain a proper graphics adapter??

I treated my self to a new Macbook Pro with the AMD Radeon HD 6750M 1GB graphics cards..
Now that I've got everything up and running just dandy I Bootcamped Windows 7 (64 bit) on it to see how it would handle some gaming, I tried installing the latest graphics drivers from AMD and am presented with this error message :
"Your Computer does not contain a proper graphics adapter."
Is this normal?? Has Apple restricted the installations of drivers on the MBP or have I got a problem?

Hi folks!  I was scouring the web for some answers and got pulled to this thread.  I've got a mid-2011 iMac 27", i7 with the 2gb HD 6970M (bootcamping Win7, 64-bit) and I also get that same error as OrphanGymnast when attempting to play the Battlefield 3 Beta.  Whenever I try to join a server it says my Catalyst version is out of date and that I need to upgrade, in turn it only references the generic AMD url.  However, the game still manages to play, but I'm not sure if I'm getting the proper performance I should be getting with the latest driver.  Anyway I tried AMD's auto detector and nothing...same message shown above in the OP.  Now I find myself here.
I'm not that hardcore about pc gaming so messing around with drivers and such is pretty new to me.  From what I gather the reason for getting, the "Your Computer does not contain a proper graphics adapter." is because mobile/laptop GPU's have to rely on their manufacturers (Apple, in our case) to roll out their specific driver updates and not AMD.  I used the following links, but encountered a few problems.
    Driver Install Instructions for Win7:  http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/GraphicsDriverInstallationInstruction forMicrosoftWindows7.aspx
ATI Catalyst Mobility Display Driver:  http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/radeonmob_win7-64.aspx#2
When I tried to uninstall the current ATi catalyst it was not showing up in "Programs and Features".  I figured I could then just run the CCC and saw there was an uninstall option through there.  CCC ran the uninstall, but the progress bar got hung up about 99% of the way through and after about a half hour in that state, I decided to End Task.  By now, my display is all out of wack since it deleted the original driver.  I rebooted and proceeded to install the 11.9 catalyst and that too got hung up about halfway through for a while...had to End Task again.  Rebooted and display was still jacked up so I just threw back in my Bootcamp Support Disc and repaired drivers...now all things back to normal (display driver v8.812).
So now that I'm back at square one, would anyone that successfully updated their mobile GPU care to tell me where I messed up? I would greatly appreciate it.  I apologize for the long read, but I wanted to be as clear as possible.
    Thanks!

  • Unternehmenslösung gesucht X1 20A8 mit Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter Probleme

    1 Business Case
Fehlende VGA-Adapter  b.) Niedrige Bildschirmauflösung 1024x768 (XGA) oder 1280x1024 (WXGA).
All o.g.
    Lenovo X1 Carbon Type 20A8 - Bios GRET43WW (1.20), Windows 8.1 Professional 64-bit - Build 9200
    an

    4. Zusatz wissen.
    a. Netgear Push2TV (PTV3000)
Test von Mitte 2014 – Zuverlässig im Verbindungsaufbau. Probleme bei Bildpropotionen wenn Auflösung niedriger Full-HD.
    b LG-Systeme – Lenovo X1 läuft erfolgreich gegen folgende Miracast-Empfänger.
LG PF80G LED Beamer – Miracast integrierter ab Lichtschwacher 1000 Lumen Full-HD Home Beamer für < € 1000
    LG55LB700V Full-HD TV – Mediamarktgerät mit integrierten Miracast-Empfänger
Geräteauslieferungen aus 4. Quartal 2014 – Test aus Januar 2015 - Verbindungsaufbau ist zuverlässig. Bild und Ton ist gut. Mauszeiger ist verzögert.

    also....
(Netgear Push2TV PTV3000 ,Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter etc..etc..).

You would need a PCIEx16 v2 graphic card.  That also means a new power (PSU) supply, as your present system has a meager 250W PSU.   How are you using this unit? Just the onboard games, internet.

  • Graphics/Video Problems on HP Pavilion dv4-1155se

We have a brand spanking new HP Pavilion dv4-1155se running Windows Vista 64-bit Edition that continues to have issues.  At random times, the laptop display will flicker 2 or 3 times, and the laptop will blue screen, stating a problem with the graphics adapter.  We've updated the BIOS and graphics drivers from HP to no avail.  We've also donwloaded a driver directly from ATI which seemed to resolve the issue for an extended period, but has re-occured today.
The only thing I can think of is that Vista may be using a built-in driver for the graphics adapter which is no good.  I'm considering the possibility that even though I updated the graphics with a driver directly from ATI, Vista overwrote it with its own again.  The laptop is currently off-site so I cannot verify this, but if anyone has had similar issues I'd like to see if you were able to find a fix.
    Regards,
    Phil

Do you also get this error (in addition to the BSOSs): "Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered"
I started receiving the flickering screen and then the nvlddmkm error problem after I downloaded:
Realtek - Network - Realtek RTL8168B/8111B Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0)
    Installation date: ‎11/‎8/‎2008 3:20 PM
    Installation status: Successful
    Update type: Optional
DriverUpdate: Realtek Network software update released in July, 2008
    And:
Device Driver Package Install: HP Developmen...
I have a NVIDIA GPU and since you have ATI our similar errors may just be coincidental and/or a result of Windows Update.
I do not know how the Realtek d/l would conflict with the GPU and I also updated HP Heath Check and HP Quick Play and HP Quick Launch Buttons just before Realtek.  I keep 'Print Screen' shots of my System Restore page to document the chronology of my updates and software installs.  Then through Problem Reports and Solutions, which displays the exact time of the "video hardware error", I was able to associate the aforementioned 3 recent updates as potential problems.
Many dv9000 computers (and more) are experiencing the video display problems I am and their complete computer failures occur soon after receiving those video warnings.
Therefore, as you noted, your problem or mine might be as innocuous as an updated driver conflict from Windows Update or an HP driver update.

  • Switching Graphics adapter in HP Pavilion 15-n007AX Laptop

I have the HP Pavilion 15-n007AX Laptop, with a dual "AMD Radeon HD 7620G" and "AMD Mobility Radeon HD 8670M" display adapter. Adobe has released it's new Lightroom 6 software with Hardware acceleration support for all graphics card with OPenGL version>3.3. The software crashes everytime, I try to use the "Graphics Acceleration" feature of the graphics. It runs fine, if I disable the "Graphics acceleration" feature.
I know, the Radeon HD 8670M display adapter has an OpenGL version >3.3, but the laptop always shows Radeon HD 7620G as the primary adapter, which has less VRAM and an lesser OpenGL version support.
Can anyone from HP Support let me know how would I switch the graphics adapter and make the Radeon HD 8670M adapter as the primary one?

  • MSI 180 - Graphic driver problems

    Hi folks,
after cooling down my Mega 180 from 48 degree to 34 degree start-up-termperature  (heatsink lapping, turn fans around, build in a fresh air duct for cpu fan) my system is running very stable - what a great lap forward after days full of frustration. Thanks to live update I have the newest bios (rev. 3.5) and drivers for my hardware installed. But I'm still facing some smaller problems, maybe is this forum I can find a hint how to handle that:
    1.) TFT-drivers not accepted
I'm using a Hyunday Q17 TFT display and I never had any problems with my old system to identify this correctly. But with my MSI 180 XP installed 5 (!) default displays and will not accept the correct monitor driver I have. When I try to delete 4 of this 5 from the control panel XP re-installs them during the next boot-process. My question is: why 5 displays and why just default displays??
2.) Flickering and coloured stripes after booting
Sometimes, when Windows is alreday started, the display changes from the "Welcome"-Screen to some colourfull stripes and seems to be frozen. After hibernating and re-starting everything is o.k.again. Diver bug ?
    3.) Black screen
When entering the windows desktop, the screens turn black for 1-2- seconds, then again it show the desktop, then again 1-2 seconds black. It looks like the driver tries out various video modes. But I don't know why ???
Conclusion is, that there seems to be a bug in my graphics driver. I tried to load the newest once via Live Update, then again directly from Nvidia website, but nothing changed. Any ideas about that ???
Any hints for me ?? Thankx in advance
    Flo

Thank you for your reply. I think, i should try to describe my problem more clearer :o)
I'll check later, when I'm back home, in Nvidia driver are installed properly. I just checked, if there is a question mark somewhere in system control panel resource overview.  But everything looks fine.
The flickering is a little bit more tricky: When starting the PC instead of my windows desktop a colorfull page of thousands of colourfull stripes appears and flickers like a rainbow. Windows is definitively running, I can can use all keyboard short cuts e.g.. It is not the type of flickering when running under low frequency. Maybe this, comnined with 2 seconds black display, is part of the famous "black display" issue.
My last machine was able to identify my TFT correctly as a Hyundai Q17. But at that machine it was connected by DVI, not the analog connection. Maybe that is my problem. I'm still looking for a small graphics adapter with digital out (nothing special, I'm really happy with the onboard graphic controller, I'm not a gamer), I'm afraid my old fullsize FX5200 might be too large for the Mega.
