Graphical issue with resizing pop up reports

I am creating a system for my work in Access. Almost completely done and I have made some reports (based on queries) for one of our managers to view. I have these loading from a command button on a form with the code:
DoCmd.OpenReport "-reportname-", acViewReport
I have the pop up parameter set to yes as I am locking down the program for users so that they don't have access to any menus etc, so when I was loading the reports there was no way for them to get back out of them again.
When they load they work fine and display fine. The issue comes if I try to maximise, minimize or otherwise change the size of them. I have a screenshot of the original state of the report and then when it is maximised (although unfortunately my account
is not verified so I cannot add them) but basically the window graphic bugs out. Scrolling with the mouse wheel seems to refresh the page and fix the issue, but only temporarily. Scrolling using the scrollbars leaves a trail of scrollbar selectors behind it.
I have tried different screen resolutions and display settings etc. I am running Access 2010 on Windows 7 Professional SP1 64-bit with 8GB of ram so I don't feel like it should be a display issue but that is all I can think.
Any ideas?

Hi Jonny,
It is hard to reproduce this issue.
I’m uncertain whether it is related to the code or the product.
What I thought is to create a simple report, use the same way to open it.
If the issue is still occurred, the issue is related to the product. After that, I will move the thread to Technet forum for more effective responses.
If the issue is not occurred, would you mind sharing a simple sample for us to reproduce the issue through SkyDrive?

  • Graphic Issues with Leopard - iMac 24" White GeForce 7300 GT

Upon installing Leopard, I've noticed several graphics issues and general lag and delayed response with the interface. I'm running a 24" iMac 2.16ghz White early 2007, 3gb of RAM, with the GeForce 7300GT card. I have Time Machine disabled, and Spotlight has fully indexed.
When installing Leopard, I did an "Erase and Install" and have manually installed my Applications after the Leopard install. I'm using only a few applications that are all "Leopard ready" and have a relatively clean system at this point. I have also cleaned the PRAM, per the recommendations in some of the threads ive read, which didn't seem to correct the issue in this case.
It seems that any time I run any type of video or graphical application, such as Photo Booth, World of Warcraft, iChat, etc, I get a large amount of lag and slow response with the interface. Windows respond very slowly, and the applications freeze for 15-20 seconds. Even when not engaging any applications, opening folders in the finder as well as the dock appear to stall and respond very slowly.
Aside from these issues, Leopard has performed very well and I have had no other issues. Quicklook and coverflow all seem to respond very quickly and smoothly. My guess is that it may be driver related as it seems to be centered around items that are engaging the video card, though it is strange how some graphical effects seem to work smoothly while others are rather choppy. I have been watching the Activity Monitor and there don't appear to be any processes that are sucking up CPU, and nothing obvious that may be reducing performance.
I'm just curious if anyone else has noticed anything similar to this on similar hardware, or possibly may know what the culprit could be. My best guess, again, is that it could be the drivers or firmware with this specific hardware that I'm using.
    Thanks for your time

I've had the same graphics issues with my white iMac 24 (serial no starts W8638), but with the GeForce 7600 card. AppleCare got me to do all the usual stuff (reset PRAM, clean Leopard install etc) but problems continued. The usual pattern is that after a while horizontal lines appear (usually in Safari) and things deteriorate form then on until there is so much pixellation that I have to turn off and back on.
Yesterday I ran for several hours using SMCFanControl to set the fans to max and had no problems, so my suspicion is that the additional graphics requirements of Leopard are over-heating the graphics card or logic board.
The Apple engineer took the machine away today and said they'll probably replace the logic board and graphics card (I think they can't change one without the other in the iMac?).
Will be a few days but I'll report back on what repairs they make and whether they solve the problem. My fear is that any changes they make will have no effect if its a design problem and the card is just not up to the job without over-heating. Though it could be the card just needs a good clean
Has anyone else tried increasing fan speed?

I noticed the same issue. It's especially noticeable in Photo Booth. The video and sound don't sync up.

  • Mac Book Pro 13 inch Graphics Issue with Yosemite

    I have a major graphics issue with my Mac Book Pro mid 2010 after upgrading to Yosemite. I have a 2.66ghz with 8gb memory and 320M 256 MB NVIDIA graphics card. Since upgrading to Yosemite (after a clean install) I have had the following issue that are driving me crazy;
When I use more than one program my screen displays large blocks of unrecognisable fuzziness. I have two screen working off my Mac Book Pro, one is the Apple 27 inch theatre screen.
My system works slow despite have ample free memory available on my disk (over 150gb)
    It is becoming an increasing concern as this issue builds up over the day to the point where I need to reboot to fix, however as soon as I use Photoshop the system almost grinds to a halt. Other issues that are bearable but ned addressing include;
Keyboard often does not work on startup and requires you to pull out the keyboard and reconnect (intermittent).
Lost email when sent (intermittent). I had hoped that this would be fixed in this updated release.
    Laggy behaviour in general.
I am hoping someone has an idea to fix these issues or are also sharing my frustration. Can someone suggest  fix as this is not a workable situation for Mac book Pro users and 2010 is not that of an old computer. Apple???

So you erased your drive and installed  10.10 and then 10.10.1 and everything else was t hrough Setup Assistant, through reinstalls, or through TimeMachine restore?
A four-year old laptop may be at the point where that small older gpu and processors have more trouble.
you might want to hold off and go back to Mavericks or whatever you had - hopefully you cloned that system before doing clean install, upgrade to 16GB, maybe throw in an SSD... or save and get the next MacBook Pro to come out.
And you checked your apps at http://www.roaringapps.com for compatibility.
Might help just to see what if anything shows up in output from Etrecheck.
Probably thought this was laptop MacBook Pro, it is not, probably best moved to Yosemite forum.

  • Graphics issues with MacBook Pro Retina

I bought my 15" MBPr in July and have been living with these issues since the beginning. Generally the issue happens when scrolling or writing in forms on web pages in Safari. Often times pieces of the web page will stick or ghost. This also sometimes happens when viewing photos on FaceBook. Anyone else having similar issues?

A number of folks have had graphics issues with the Retina display model... since you're still under warranty, take your unit to your local Apple Store or an AASP and reproduce the problem for them. They should have a 'fix' - even if it means replacing the logic board - that will be of no cost to you.
I couldn't have put up with that as long as you have...

  • Graphics issue with Jdev and Ubuntu Maverick

    Hi,
I just upgraded one machine Dell Optiplex 755 to Ubuntu Maverick 10.10 with Java 1.6.0.23 and Oracle JDeveloper 11g 11.1.1.3.0. Since then, my Jdev is not working properly from a graphic point of view. When you start it , it doesn't show all the icons in the console. You have to pass the mouse over them to be shown, and as soon as you minimize/maximize the window, those are hidden again. It's like Java or Jdev are not sending the correct commands to repaint the screen.
I don't have any similar graphic issue with any other application like openOffice or Oracle SQL datamodeler. But I do have the same issue with the Oracle SQL developer application, the icons are not shown unless you pass the mouse over them and they disappear if you minimize/maximize the window. Jdev and SQL Developer have a similar interface so I think is related with Java and these specific interfaces.
The drivers of the graphic card, ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT, are up to date and I already tried with different tweakings in the graphical properties.
Does any of you have any suggestion/solution?
This didn't happen with an Ubuntu 9.10 and old versions of java and Jdev installed in the same machine.
    Greetings and thank you.

    Hello,
I have changed my graphic card. i mean, replace ATI Radeon by Gforce.
    Thanks

  • GDM and Gnome graphical issues with Nvidia card

    Hi !
I want to install archlinux with cinnamon as desktop environment on the computer of a friend, but I have some issue with it, and especially with (I think) the graphic card, it's a Nvidia GeForce FX 5200LE.
I tried installing nvidia-173xx from the aur first. I installed gdm, but it's extremly slow, as a result that I can't log in (nevertheless the mouse is fluid..)  the cpu is not so much used yet, and it's the same thing in the cinnamon session or the gnome session (I tried installing lightdm to log in which works fine). Moreover, in the session I've got some strange graphical things, such as some missing white pixels, or a blue window when I launch nautilus, ... (here are some screenshots : http://i49.tinypic.com/2efhm6s.png and a with a window : http://i46.tinypic.com/116m05k.png)
I tried to install the nouveau driver instead, and now gdm don't freeze, I can log in, but there is always these strange graphical issues.
Is the graphic card too old for gnome ? Or did I forget something ?
Thank you in advance for your help !! And sorry for my english ..
Here are some log with the nouveau driver :

I'm no expert on reading the xsession errors, but I had all sorts of problems running gnome3 with my machine of the same vintage.   Cinamon is based on gnome3.  I switched to Mate which is a re-packaging of the old gnome2 along with Compiz for the window manager and all works well.
I strongly suspect that they are using the newer OpenGL 4 API.  The Nvidia FX5200 is stuck at OpenGL 2.1.

  • Graphics issues with MacBook Pro 15-inch Late 2011 model

I have a MB Pro 15-inch late 2011 (2.4GHz Core i7) and recently I started to get random screen glitches while working on photoshop and illustrator and then eventually the screen went totally blank and so I paid to have the graphics chip replaced (as I was out of warranty).
After 2 weeks, the same glitches have started again so I did some internet research and discovered that that there are thousands of other people around the world who had similar issues in this particular model range that uses the AMD Graphics chipset (Radeon HD 6770M) combined with the Intel HD Graphics 3000 on the same motherboard.
Does anyone know if Apple has announced a recall / replacement programme for this model as it appears to be a widespread issue ?
    Thanks
    Rohit

There is an online campaign at change.org which has crossed 10,000 signatories (or is about to) that should prove that there is an issue.
From my analysis, the problem is the AMC Radeon GPU that is the problem - there is some compatibility issue with the logic board. I just paid to get the problem solved, but it has come back again in less than a a week. I installed gfcCardStatus to control which graphics chips are being used and found that when the Intel HD chipset is used, there is no issue, but when it switches to the AMD chipset, the problem returns.
There is certainly an issue and it's widespread and I am sure that this will come back to bite apple in the ***...
I think their issue is probably that the fault lies in AMD's chips and not their circuitry which is probably why they don't want to bear the cost of a recall program unless AMD contribute to the costs...which they won't because Apple have pretty much stopped using AMD GPUs and use nVidia instead now.
Anyway, I'm going to go back to the repair folks and have them re-fix the issue as it's covered by their warranty. Let me know if you have any more luck on your end.

  • Issue with indicator values in report display

    Hi All,
I am getting an issue with valutype #.
we have  account  restricted hirerarchy ,fiscal year period and Valuetype in rows .
I need to show the actuals indicator of value type 10 data in one row for each fiscal year period. But some of the key figures we are getting # data .valuetype indiator is repeating 2 times for each period.but we need to post this # values to 10.Any one have any idea how to handle this.
for example : my report is displaying like this
Account code :   Fiscal Year period   Value type      Keyfig 1    keyfig2   Keyfig 3
    CA1100 :                  001.2006
    10                                  100       22
                     200
                                     002.2006
    10                                   200       44
                     300
But I need the report  like below
Account code :   Fiscal Year period   Value type      Keyfig 1    keyfig2   Keyfig 3
    CA1100 :                  001.2006           10                  200          100       22
                                                                                    002.2006           10                  300          200       44

    Sirisha,
in the Query, You can filter your query to actual value i.e. 10. display KF1 and KF2 as it is coming from source. create restricted KF with restriction on account, fiscal year period and value type (= #).
you will get exact value. or while loading to cube or ods.. you can move that value to KF3 using start routine.

  • Graphical issue with QuarkXPress

Hi I have an early 2008 24" iMac. I recently had an issue with QuarkXPress 8 that I never had before.
When I launch the app it takes a huge amount of time (as usual) but at a point a "curtain " of coloured pixels goes up to down of the whole screen and inverting ist colors. When it gets to the bottom the computer is frozen. To avoid that i can make a screenshot or change desktop, wich stops the curtain.
This only happens with QuarkXPress and I han no graphical issues until then. All my software is up yo date.
Here's a screenshots of the issue:

    Hi cobhc6,
I would first apply the (free) update to QuarkXPress 8.5.1 (http://www.quark.com/Support/Downloads/Details.aspx?fid=200) and then delete your preferences.
    Does it still happen then?
    Regards
    Matthias

  • Have any of you had any issues with resizing in Adobe PS CC 2014?

If I resize a photo in prior versions, I have not issues. If I go canvas size in Adobe PS CC 2014, the image becomes larger- but cropped and a color is added as a border. This doesn't happen in the prior versions.

I guess that I should have been more specific, Noel. I compared and contrasted Adobe PS CC 2014 with the CC version and CS6 version. I noticed a big difference. After a couple of hours toying with adobe PS CS6, CC, and CC 2014, here is the difference that I have discovered: in the older versions, if you wanted to make a canvas size like 24 x26 inches, you had to use "Canvas size" under the "Image" tab. In CC 2014, if you do that, it will keep the image looking small, but add a huge border around it. If you go into "Image Size" you can type in your dimensions, and it resizes the image without adding the border.   Noel, if you are familiar with resizing images, please talk me through my mistakes. I need to learn, and I have no one in my area to teach me. Your help would be appreciated.

  • Graphic issue with my Imac 27"

    Hi
I have an issue with my graphic on my Imac 27", which has going on for 1 month now. If i start up the computer normally there will be a failure in the graphic after the Apple icon has disapperead, which means that I´m not able to see anything except some vertically/horizontally lines on the screen.
BUT if I press down "Shift" while starting the computer and thereby start up in safe mode, then the graphic is perfect (unless a small rectangle which follows the mouse cursor) and I can use the computer almost normal. The sound is disabled, but perhaps that is part of running safe mode.
Therefore it seems more like a software error than hardware error, since graphic is normal in safe mode. Recently (3 days ago) I got an information of free update to Yosemite and I thought that it would solve my problem if it was a software issue, but unfortunately the problem was exactly the same after the update, that I can only start the computer in safe mode.
My Imac is from 2009 and is model A1312 with a ATI Radeon HD 4670 graphic card.
Does anyone know this issue or can support me what to do?
Thanks in advance - Ulrick, Denmark
