Graphical representation of Cisco Agent Desktop info

I have a weird request of me. Someone want to have a more graphical representation of the real-time data on their Cisco Agent Desktop. I don;t know where to begin to be honest.
Does anyone know of third party plug-in or something that I can be pointed to?
Thanks!

Assuming this is UCCX, with version 10 you will get CUIC real time reporting, which might solve the problem.

  • Cisco Agent Desktop software running multiple times in Task Manager

Has anyone seen an issue with Cisco Agent Desktop v 6.6(1) where after closing the program completely it stays running in Windows Task Manager. We have the Agent software installed on 8 PCs and only one of them is having this happen to them. One time the PC had 15 instances of Agent.exe running in Task manager. A reboot of the PC corrected the issue, however when the issue does happen her chat box within the Agent software shows as Initializing and the agent's name appears and reappears on the Supervisor Desktop software.
If anyone needs any other info as to the versions we're using or anything else please let me know. I have searched all over the net for a solution and haven't found anything. My next step is to do a TAC case, but I wanted to post something here to see what responses I got.
    Thanks,
    Nick

  • Error from Cisco Agent Desktop - The agent- or workflow-initiated action request failed.

We have roughly 20 agents using Cisco Agent Desktop version 85.1.417 and I have one that when she clicks the phone button to answer a call she gets the error: "The agent-  or workflow-initiated action request failed."
I reinstalled the program, but she still receives the same error.  What could be causing this problem?

  • Cisco agent desktop has encountered a problem and needs to close error

A Remote Hotline user is experiencing crashes with her desktop agent.  After logging into the program it generated the error message "The Cisco Agent Desktop has encountered a problem and needs to close"
I have removed the agent from add remove programs, re installed it and attempted to run it logged in as an admin and using both mine and the user's agent credentials and the program still crashes.
Agent desktop ver 5.0 Build 6.4.2.12  Windows XP
    Any ideas?
    Regardes, Chet

Thanks for the reply, this is what I did to resolve it:
    Fix:
Uninstalled Desktop agent from add remove programs
    Re installed program
Do a complete restart or the prog will continue to crash
Test program by logging in with user’s credentials

  • Error Logging into Cisco Agent Desktop whilst using Cisco IP Communicator

    Hi there,
I am having an issue whilst using Cisco Agent Desktop Version 7.0.  If I use a cisco IP Communicator ( softphone) i get following message, "Login failed due to a configuration error. Please ask you system administrator to associate your phone with the RM JTAPI Provider user ID according to the instructions in the admin guide".
If user logs in to a normal Cisco phone then logs into agent there are no problems.
Bit of a novice so your help would be appreciated.

    Hi
In your AppAdmin pages on UCCX, in the Unified CM Configuration screen, there is an 'RM' user defined.
This will be a user in CCMAdmin 'Application Users', which has all your CCX phones associated to it. UCCX uses this to CTI control the handsets... you need to associate the CIPC phone to that user.

  • Cisco Agent Desktop / Supervisor Desktop Issue with Full Disk Encryption

Has anyone had any issues related to running Cisco Agent Desktop or Cisco Supervisor Desktop on a machine running full disk encryption?  Our desktop team installed full disk encryption software from Check Point, and it seams to be causing some issues with call monitoring, screen pops via workflow and connectivity to the UCCX server.  It's not effecting every machine (that we know of), but the fix for us right now is to provide a desktop without the encryption software.  I'm just wondering if this is related to us, or if there is any supporting documentation out there?
    Any help is apprecicated.

CAD for IPCCX v4 does not support windows 7. See compatibility matrix:
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/crs/express_compatibility/matrix/crscomtx.pdf
In my experience if you already have CAD installed and you upgrade the OS (without a fresh rebuild) CAD will work - but it is NOT supported. You should test this though.
You will not be able to install the older version of CAD on windows 7, the installer will give you errors.

  • Cisco Agent Desktop incorrect stats Agent Statistics Display

    Hi,
I have a very strange problem with a cisco agent desktop user. The times/numbers as displayed in the Agent Statistics Display are incorrect. As you can see from image 1, the agent was presented with 14 calls. The total talking time is 7:22. However if you look at the actual times from image two, and add those numbers you will have a total of 54:42 minutes:seconds. Also the Max talking is incorrect since this filed should display the longest call which has a length of 14:22 min:sec. Also the ready times max/avg and so are incorrect. It's like it's displaying numbers from a different agent however the number of calls presented is correct. If i look at this specific user from the supervisor tool the numbers are correct, see image 3. (in this image a 15th call was placed) I have reinstalled the agent desktop software but this has not solved this problem. I've done some googling but can't seem to find anyone with the same issue and/or a way to troublshoot this. Anyone have a clue?

    Image 3:

    Hi Anand,
I've looked at the historical reports. Nothing weird there. The 14 minute call came directly from outside, no transfeer or anything. And even if this was the case then the 2nd longest inbound call is 8:30 and not 3:08. Also if you take the sum of all inbound call times you get almost 55 minutes. The difference is too much as the Toal Talking time displayed is 7:22. Also from the supervisor tool I do see the correct numbers.
    Thanks again.

anyboday is using IPCC 4.X version with using CAD on the window 7 32 bits OS if yes CAD is woking fine with windows 7 or if any issue aries ?

  • How to install Cisco Agent Desktop 7.6(1) on Win7 X64?

I am trying to install Cisco Agent Desktop 7.6(1) on my Windows 7 64-bit laptop. This
    error keeps poping up:
    http://i.imgur.com/xtBFm.png
This directory in the error message does not exist on my computer. Other x86.Microsoft.VC80.CRT... folders exist, but they have different names than the one in the error message window.
What can I do to install CAD ?

I ran into a different problem back when WIN7 was released, the error was along the line CAD detected unsporting OS. No matter how I finagled the OS nothing would work. I did read a little blurb to modify the MSI install file and it works quite well. I have since installed my modded MSI Agent Desktop and Supervisor Desktop on WIN7 64bit also no problem at all. Locate yourself a copy of SuperOrca and open Agent Destop.msi and scroll down to LaunchCondition Delete the top two lines
    Condition and Description
    #1 (CADOR) OR ((VersionNT=500 AND MsiNTProductType=1) OR (VersionNT=501) OR (VersionNT=600) OR (VersionNT=500 AND MsiNTProductType>=2 AND NOT SERVER_INSTALLED) OR (VersionNT=502 AND NOT SERVER_INSTALLED))
    #2 (CADOR) OR (NOT (SERVER_INSTALLED OR SUPERVISOR_INSTALLED))
Save the Agent Desktop.msi to something like Agent Desktop WIN7.msi save it someplace handy and run it.
You may find you need to run as admin IF your using WIN7 PRO/HOME etc etc Ultimate shouldn’t give you these probs if the application installs yet wont launch go to control panel look into running compatibility etc etc
If you have odd securities errors while running the program Blame the OS go to the Cisco install folder and give the domain user full control security ect on THEIR folder, this will clear up any client side issues.
Most who run into this problem delete the two lines indicated above then smooth sailing.

  • Cisco Agent Desktop (CAD) Timed Out

    Hello Everybody,
I'm looking for a little insight into a problem that was encountered recently with a customer that essentially caused downtime.  When the Agents were attempting to log into Cisco Agent Desktop it gave the following error:
"The request to log into the Cisco Unified CCX application server timed out. Please verify your system is online and try again."
    CCX Version : 8.0.2.11002-3
    CUCM: 8.0.3.21011-1 with LDAP integration/authentication
The customer does have high availability and after restarting both CCX servers the problem still occurred.  Finally, once the CUCM publisher was restarted everything the login started working again.  As the resolution was a server restart I'm looking for further information regarding this problem, why it may have occurred, and what can be done to prevent it in the future.  It seems that LDAP issues are a common cause of this error but why?  Can IPA be used as a backup if another situation like this occurs again?
    I appreciate the time,
    Thanks.

    Hi Keith,
    We could never state it will never happen again. CUCM, AD or UCCX could have a latency issue later on. However if you see the technote that I sent it explains what tracing is needed and how to verify that LDAP is not sending the acknowledgement back in time. Below is an example of the MIVR logs;
    //Initiating login
461102: Jan 28 08:01:34.909 PST %MIVR-SS_RM-7-UNK:Trying to authenticate agent MSmith
The login ID is the same ID that is used to login to CAD. For our test MSmith was used.
The next message should be that login was successful; however, a time out may have occurred since the CAD timer has expired (10 seconds). We then see after the 10th second CUCM finishes the authentication.
//CUCM returns login successful after the 10 second CAD timer expires causing the timeout message to be displayed
    461107: Jan 28 08:01:45.206 PST %MIVR-SS_RM-7-UNK:Successfully authenticated agent MSmith at extension 1904
CAD has ten second timer. If the successful message is not sent within that time CAD fails to login. The port change for the AD server that is the Global Catalog server is also documented in the CUCM SRND and should be used regardless.
I hope that answers your question.

  • Windows 7 64 bit Cisco agent desktop issue

    Hello,
We are upgrading to Windows 7 64 bit, we have UCCE 8.0 as our call center.  We done some testing and notice CTIOS agent desktop 8.0 doesnt work and then we tried CTIOS agent 8.5(4) which works to a certaion point the application opens but just says connecting to CTIOS server and says offline.  Keep in mind we have Windows 7 32 bit and CTIOS agent desktop 8.0 works with that.
    Please help
    Thanks.

    Senthil, Horacio,
I would not recommend using a 8.5(x) client against a 8.0(x) server (the OP suggests UCCE 8.0 is used). Even though they _should_ be compatible, they usually are not.
Upgrading the server side to 8.5 is the way to go IMHO.

  • Packaging Cisco Agent Desktop 6.1 software for installation

    Hi guys
Anyone know if you can package up Agent Desktop, Supervisor Desktop, Desktop Administrator for installation via SMS.
I have been manually installing but our desktop team want to package it up for dployment via SMS.
    Cheers!!

Absolutely. I have a customer who did the SMS packaging and push. I'm not an SMS person so I can't help with the details. Sorry.

  • Cisco Agent Desktop Timer Issue

I have a UCCX version 7.0(2)_Build254 and CAD installed . One of my agent switch to no ready and no phone call through your number . Does exist a timer to modify at UCCX ?
    Thanks and best regards
    Hugo

what  are you trying to do here? Put the agent back to ready automatically after x secs? This isn't a good idea, and I don't think its possible with CAD.
What you could do is create an agent notification when they've been not ready for x secs. In desktop administrator, expand your workflow (create a new one perhaps) and go to Agent Management Workflows
Then create the following actions for the not ready event :
    Delay action
    Agent Notification action
    Some screenshots attached.

  • Cisco Agent Desktop 9.0(2) will not load homepage

I can't seem to get the CAD 9.0(2) application to load webpages. I receive the error, "The home page is not configured in Desktop Administrator". I have confirmed that I have indeed configured the webpage in Desktop Administrator by enabling the check box for "Integrated browser". From the supervisor application I can push a web page of my choice without issue to any member associated with the group. What else could I be missing?
    Thanks!

have you applied the same workflow to agents as well using desktop administrator web application?
do you have any workflow browser enabled?

  • Cisco Agent Desktop - Displaying Queue Stats

We have been told by a Cisco trainer that adding number of calls in queue to CAD should be possible.  However, he said it is necessary to first retrieve the data from the database.
Our wallboard outputs combined statistical data to a straight text file, as well as to an HTML formatted file.  Based on what I've read in the CDA admin guide, we could probably display the HTML in CADs internal browser.  However, we would like to know if we can go a more direct route, placing the data somewhere within the CAD itself (see green arrows).
We utilize multiple queues for our team, but would want to display the combined calls in queue.
We are using CAD 8.5, Enhanced.
How would we go about this?
    Thank you.

If all you're looking for is the sum total of calls in queue, just use the Agent Real Time Displays button and choose Contact Service Queue Statistics Display. It will show the sum of calls across all CSQs the agent is skilled in and is updated at the same frequency CSD is.
Failing that, you could write to Enterprise Data (left column in your screenshot); however, this would be a static point in time when the Get Reporting Statistics step is executed within the script (i.e. before the agent takes the call). I would recommend against this because agents will be looking at this at the end of a call to decide whether it's appropriate to go on break or not. In fact, the data wouldn't have been updated since before the agent answered the call.
The embedded browser is probably your best bet. Point it at the same HTML URL your wallboard product is showing.
