Graphics are large and blurry

I recently noticed that the graphics in Firefox have become large and blurry. It's like they are all being zoomed automatically. I can't pinpoint exactly when this started, but I'm sure it hasn't been like this forever, because it would have driven me crazy long ago! I didn't change any of the settings myself, so I wonder if it has something to do with a Firefox update.
Anyway, when looking at websites, I have to zoom out twice from the default zoom state before images look crisp again.
However, the issue also applies to graphics that are part of the Firefox interface. For example, the icons in my bookmarks toolbar are blurry. So are the home icon, the downloads icon, and other built-in graphics that I can't zoom.

Thank you for your fast reply. I already noticed, that there are these Addons to solve that problem.
I was just wondering, because I firstly thought, that it is a bug/error. It's not a problem for me to do a workaround, but what if thousands of other Users have the same problem after that update to Firefox 22, especially when they are limited by their bad IT-skills/KnowHow and don't know how to solve that. And instead of searching for a solution, they'll maybe change to another Browser(Chrome, Opera, etc.)
Therefore I was confused that Firefox is doing that.

It is not possible to scroll any Lyrics in Mainstage.
You could possibly use one 'page' of lyrics per patch, and change Patches for the next lot of lyrics?

I'm on my iPad, so I don't know if this is the page with an actual download. I don't see a button, but assume that is because I am on an iPad. It is in the DL section of Apple downloads.

Both the Texts and Graphics When I open windows are too large and blurry. Is this anyway I could fix this?

When I open Firefox (Firefox is updated to its latest version) both the text and the graphics are too large. I've tried zooming in and out features, but the texts become unreadable.

CTRL+0 (<--that is a zero) will reset your zoom level on affected pages. Firefox remembers the zoom level you last used on a page.

Unable to read email with mozilla firefox. The online graphics are missing and the links are unable to be accessed when I try to click on them

Having issues with being able to assess my email on Mozilla Firefox. When I sign in, the graphics are missing. Once I'm logged in, the inbox is not there. Some thing is wrong graphically. There are work links for inbox and contacts, but they are all flushed to the left of the screen. When I attempt to click on them, nothing happens. I have tried to remove Firefox and then reinstall it but the same thing happens. I also attempted to reset firefox to its default state and that did not work either. I check plug ins and most are up to date. However, not clear for window presentation foundation is and if it was necessary to have. The plug in state was unknown. Please advise on what to do? Make sure that you haven't enabled a High Contrast theme in the Windows/Mac Accessibility settings.
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own colors.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"
Note that these settings affect background images.

Colors are terrible and blurry BN out-the-box laptop

I just received my new satellite L305D-S5895 today and at start up the colors look are flush with red and blue and all the fonts are displayed kinda blurry. I've tried all different kind of resolution settings to try to fix this but the problem stays the same. Should i return it. Help guys!

A brand-new notebook should 'just work' right out of the box. I'd return the defective one you got and get a replacement.

Scans are dirty and blurry

I have a brand new 6700 Officejet Premium. I am trying to scan color photos. I have cleaned the glass, the photos are studio shot and very clear, yet my scans are all blurry and have lots of dust. I have tried several dpi and they all look bad. Help!

In the meantime, try Resetting the Printer and plug the printer in directly to the wall outlet, avoiding power bars and surge protectors. This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.

Pictures are dark and blurry

I have a DeskJet 2540 wireless printer and from two different tablet computers the pictures that I print are just hideous. They're dark and they're out of focus. They look really muddy. Is this as good as this printer can do? Or am I doing something wrong? It also prints the pictures very small and in one corner of the paper like it was meant to be the size of a photograph. But they're not photographs. It prints coupons off the Internet accurately. Not muddy not blurred. This is really driving me nuts. If this can't be resolved the printer really isn't usable.

Printing from tablets is not like printing from a computer. On iPad's, if the iPad has a image on screen that you would like to print, it sends it print as a picture (no way around that using AirPrint). It seems this is the case here, the iPad is applying to much ink because it doesn't know you are not intending to print as a photo.
Try installing and printing with this App: Getting Started with HP ePrint Mobile Apps.
Within the App, you will have more control of printing setting, including the paper size, paper type, etc.

I get diverted from common websites clicked from hypertext transfers - it goes to a "cannot find" page with preferred sites -- site address begins with "urlseek80..." The sites I want are large and well-known -- many are CBC Canada What can I do?

I use the CBC.ca site every day and have done so for years -- recently, when I attempt to raise it -- usually from my "bookmarks" list -- I get a "can't find.." message and find myself on a "urlseek80..." site with lits of suggestions of sites I may want to go to instead. -- Am I being hijacked? what can I do to avoid this diversion? This is not the only website I have this problem with.

This is just unacceptable, and if this was my purchase I would be equally upset. If an employee promises a call to a customer they should be making that call, and you should have been given an accurate explanation as to why these deliveries were being rescheduled.
The only times a BestBuy.com order would be automatically cancelled by us would be if it was set to be picked up in one of our stores, and it wasn’t picked up in a timely manner; the only other time would be if an order was on backorder for a period of time without the customer requesting us to extend this backorder.

I noticed that when I develop in light room 5 that the raw files are larger and the finished product is 80 percent smaller

The RAW files are the same size as the camera made them. Lightroom doesn't change the file size or image size.
The JPG size depends on a dozen or so things, some of which you can control and some of which you cannot control, but almost always the JPG is smaller than the corresponding RAW.. I see no particular problem with a JPG that is smaller, depending on the export options you chose, and I have never yet seen Lightroom produce an incorrect size JPG
By the way, normally numbers have units, you did not mention any units, so I really can't comment further without knowing the units for the numbers you show

I guess it's their facebook picture (if they have facebook). It's not only on one contact. It happens on every contact that calls me. Help!!

It sounds to me as if the contact picture is of a low resolution and when the iPhone tries to fit it to the screen, it pixilates. You can always go in and remove the picture from the contact if you wanted to. If they are friends of yours on Facebook, you could also go into their photos and copy a picture and that would put it in your camera roll and you could select that picture yourself. I must not be too aware of Facebook pictures being used as contact photos because none of my friends pictures are showing up like that. However, I have seen a couple of my Linkedin contacts doing that, but they are not pixilated like you describe.

System.log file are large, and cause a kernel panic when deleting

I am trying to solve a dillema. I discovered that over 60GB of my 120GB SSD drive are taken up by system.log files. All 3 are around 20GB. I left my laptop running so none of them are the current one. They are system.log.0, system.log.3 and system.log.4. I have tried several ways to delete them:
Using Disksweeper
At a terminal prompt using sudo rm
At a terminal prompt using sudo su - (to get root access) and then rm -f ....
Rebooting the system in single user mode, mounting the drive and then attempting to delete them
Each time I do, the system reboots with a kernel panic. I have not looked at the panic log yet, but can post that if you need to.
I did look at the end of the current log file to discover there were some issues with programs, and I have fixed it so that these size log files "shouldn't" be generated anymore.
Looking for advice as to how to delete these files! This is driving me nuts. It shouldn't be this hard.

OK, I actually was able to solve this myself. My problem was that ther kernel panic was caused by the journaling. So here is what I had to do:
I temporarily disabled journaling, see here: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=373067
Then I was able to delete the files by starting a terminal session and using sudo rm to delete the files.
Re-enabled journaling (I don't know if it is needed, but it was on before).
Hope this can help someone else in the future.

Emails From a Few People are Large and Are Slow to Load

Please check if they use customized organizational forms when sending emails.
Please check if the issue persists when they send email using OWA.
Please check if there is any transport rule against these users in Exchange server.

Graphics are flashing and disapperaing in multiple applications

Hi,
my Mbp is showing flashing white boxes while scrolling and moving of the windows.
Also the icons of Safari flash. I think it began after the last Quicktime update, but not sure.

I am also experiencing this problem. It happens in most all applications, but it is most evident in email and web browsing when you scroll down a page or email. Pictures / text become chopped or repeated. I also notice my desk top or sometimes finder flashing to refresh.
I have also experienced my screen going blank, I can see the desktop if I look at the screen in light. To me it is the backlight of the screen turning off. Everything is still functioning I can move the mouse and start / stop applications just no back light. I can usually solve this by closing the lid and waiting for it to go into stand-by and then opening it back up.
