Graphics are not imported

Hi members,
This is my first time in the forum and I hope someone can
help me with my problem.
I have a Word 2007 document with many pictures. The picture
style is a new style of my own. Most pictures are.PNG, but some are
.gifs and .jpgs
When I import the document, two things occur:
1. No pictures appear in the RH topics at all.
2. Only .gif and .jpg pictures are imported into Robohelp
I did a test with a normaldocument and sample pictures.
Everything worked perfectly. I do not know what is wrong.

EPub graphics are not sized correctly

ePub graphics are not sized correctly after transfering ePub to my iPad using iTunes.
I am running indesign 6.0 on microsoft system 7 and transfering the ePub to my new iPad (32gb 2048 x 1536 resolution).
The graphic is set for "custom rasteration" with size set to "relative to page width".
The graphic displays correctly in Adobe Digital Editions but when I transfer the ePub to my iPad it appears full size.
If i set the cover to "Rasterize first page" the graphic on the cover is sized correctly but the graphic in the document is full size.
When i create the identical file using inDesign 5.5 everything works correctly.
What am i doing wrong or what setting am I not setting correctly?

Welcome to the world of how different EPUB readers handle the same HTML and CSS code.
I just did a test with a picture which had the Relative to Page Size and Custom Rasterization settings from InDesign CS5.5 and CS6.
As far as I can tell each version of InDesign is writing the correct code but in a different way. ADE responds to it the same, but iBooks on your iPad does not.
Here are the details: I created a 45 pica wide text frame and anchored a 14 pica wide graphic frame.
InDesign CS5.5 exports the relative size as part of the image tag like this:

InDesign CS6 creates a class for the <div> tag for the graphic frame and references it in the CSS it creates. Here's the HTML:

Here's the CSS for frame-1:

I would say that both of those are correct code. However, iBooks handles the CS6 version differently.

It handles it differently. So I'd say, if it's important that on the iPad, that it be smaller, you should edit the code to insert the scaling attribute into the HTML tag instead of the CSS,

How to get rid of pix in my iphoto library that are not imported?

I needed to clear the memory card of my husband's camera recently, and didn't have the canon software installed on my computer. So I tried using iphoto, but it crashed because the movies are high resolution and I guess iPhoto couldn't handle it. I managed to get them transferred another way, but now every time I launch iPhoto I get a message telling me that there are images in my iPhoto library that are not imported, and asking if I want to import them. If I try to import them, iPhoto crashes again. If I say "cancel" I get the same message again next time. I tried going into the finder to get rid of them but don't know where they are. No matter what I try to throw away, I still get the same message. How to get rid of those photos?

You could also have used Image Capture in your Applications Folder.

iPhoto managed high resolution just fine. Perhaps you don't have the correct codec.
To solve you more immediate problem: go to your Pictures Folder and there you'll see your iPhoto Library Folder. Open it and inside you'll see a folder called 'Importing' or something close to that. Drag it to the desktop. Restart iPhoto. Does that help?

Solid color text boxes in MS Word are not importing to pdf ... text boxes with pics import and convert fine. Using Word 2013. Any ideas?

I'm uploading a Word file to my Adobe PDF Packet Annual subscription. I'm running Windows 8.0. Normally I will create a document in MS Word 2013, save it into our dropbox and then when I need to send it to someone (printer in this case) I will log onto Adobe PDF and upload the file to convert. Once it's converted, I'll send the pdf to the client or printer. In this case I created a poster with our logo (in a text box), text, a star (in a text box) and a few solid colored rectangles. Everything converted beautifully - as usual - except the solid text boxes.
I've used Adobe PDF Packet for a few years and have never seen this. Any ideas or other questions?

Transfermations are not importing in prd

Hi All,
I am transporting transfermations from DEV to QA and PRD.
In QA it is working fine but in PRD 3 fields rules are not importing. these 3 fields are direct mapping rules.
DSO level ---> only one rule is not imported.(ZBRANCH)
Cube levlel---> 3 rules are not imported.(AB,BIs,ZBRANCH)
Because of this r/3 data source strucure is changed.
I found the imprted logs message is likethis.
rule18,19,20,21 are not imported .
Why it's changing r/3 data source.
How can i resolve this problem. Objects all are in active only.

Check whether all source system mapping is done between the sender and target system properly
check whether all the objects are in active version or not
If any objects in the target system is inactive then go to SE 38 run the program RSDG_AFTER_IMPORT_FOR_CORR to make those objects in to active version

In the documents screen - sorry, new to this so not sure if that's the right terminology... Basically the screen showing all documents, if you drag down, there should be two options at the of of the page: Date and Name. Select Name and your list should now be in alphabetic order.

Multiple birthdays on same day are not imported

Multiple birthdays on same day are not imported into a new calendar - only the last birthday for that day is imported into the calendar.
Any ideas what is going on?

Same problem with events from an iCal Calendar. I have an iCal Calendar that contains all the events I want included in my iPhoto Calendar - I use it every year, it has Birthdays and Anniversaries plus other important dates. It has worked fine in previous years using previous versions of iPhoto. In iPhoto 11, it only ever includes 1 event per day.
This also applies to Public Holidays
This is a major problem - the Calendar are unusable as it stands. It needs to fixed quickly as this is the time of year people buy their Calendars.

Some of my clips from my camera are not importing into iMovie`

I just got a new video camera and I started using iMovie for my first time with it. It's a Panasonic DVD video camera. The first time I loaded my DVD into my computer with it, it imported all of my clips just fine. But now it seems, random clips will not import. When I get my import screen, where I can check and uncheck movies from my DVD to import into iMovie, some clips have thumbnails and import correctly. Other clips have no thumbnail, but instead just have the little "filmstrip" graphic on them. iMovie still knows how many seconds those "mystery" clips are, and it still acts as if it is importing them when I check them. However, they don't show up in iMovie when I go to edit them. They are not blank clips, they simply just don't show up. However, on my camera, ALL of the clips play fine.
Why is iMovie not gathering thumbnails/importing certain clips but it gathers thumbnails/imports the others? I know the disc and the camera is fine because the camera will play them, sound and video. What is up with my iMovie/computer?

I'd like to add that after I import these clips without thumbnails, iMovie does give me an error and say that they could not be imported. No explanation as to why, though. Again, they play fine on my camera.

Reg. Scenerio Sheets are not importing while importing the model.

Hi All ,
Due to some issues , I exported the existing model and then do the isreset before importing the model. I imported the model which i exported. I am unable to see any Scenerio Sheet , planning Sheet in Analysis Workbench which i created earlier. there is no data in Planning workbench .
Do i need to create new Scenerio sheets ? or Is there anyway i can retrive those sheets and Put it back ?
if yes then how, Please guide.

The version we r using IOP 4.0.1.32 .
Please let me know your thoughts on following issue :
1) we have already published a model which is having 5 Cubes ,11 dimensions and 100+ measures. Then we add two more cubes which are not related the previous one and we used different Dimension and measures for it. These cubes remain in unpublished state and somehow one of the cube from Earlier published model also came into unpublished state. Why the scenerio sheets which are already created not visible to me after importing this model (Unpublished) to the other instance. I can understand tht untill the model is processed it will not open but it was not visible also in the planner workbench. the planner workbench is completely empty.

Images and graphics are not showing in certain emails when using Firefox. They show in Google Chrome.

Certain emails from f.chtah.com(image info) are not showing graphic or image content. This happens in both gmail and hotmail. If opened in Google Chrome, they show up.
I had my computer wiped clean last week and everything was showing up ok again until this morning. The same emails are having the problem that was going on for the previous month.
I make sure that all updates are installed.

I figured it out. Clear your cookies. The company that hosts the images and the stylesheets updated their domain name- i figured this out in Chrome, it was showing a different URL for the css- http://ebm.cheetahmail.com
After all the cookies (Privacy Tab in preferences) and reloading the pages the images and stylesheets started working again.
I hope this helps other folks.

Business Rules are not imported in deployment process

Dear friends:
I am deploying a project. The project has 23 business rules.
In the Oracle BPM Process Administrator,--> Projects --> In the column Business Rules --> Details , There are not one business rule imported which was created in Oracle BPM Studio.
What is happening? Something is wrong in the deployment process?
Or what is the correct way to write business rule for a project?

Hi Danny,
If you're using Oracle BPM Enterprise running on WebLogic you're ok. I know it's disconcerting, but your business rules were really created and deployed. It's a cosmetic bug that prevents them from being able to be viewed in the Process Administrator tool.

Error Msg: Some objects are repaired and they are not imported successfully

Hello All,
I am trying to back transport queries from SAP BW Prod to Dev. We got the below message for one query while back transporting, please advice.
Diagnosis: Few Objects are in repair status. Therefore, it cannot be imported.
System responce: The object is not imported.
Procedure:If you still want to import the object, release the relevant repair and repeat the import.
We tried to reimport the query by selecting the relavent objects but again we got the same issue. Plesae advice how to resolve this issues and also let us know how to (release the relevant repair ).

It happens mostly when there might be other Transport request build on the same query that you are transporting. As such some of the query objects get locked. So, first of all delete all the request created on that query, before that unlock the objects from SE03 for that request. Then try to create a new transport request and transport it. Hope, this will solve your problem.

My photos are not importing properly into iPhoto! They import successfully but never appear in my library!

Whenever I import photos recently they will be in the Last Import folder but when I click my photo library they are not in it. And then when I go back to last import they aren't in there anymore. I have already lost a lot of pictures since I always select the delete off of memory card option after importing. I think it is ever since I upgraded to Lion. HELP!

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

For some strange reason my contacts are not populating on my macbook from my iPhone. I have iCloud turned on on both devices and I have selected the contacts folder to be in the cloud but my macbook isn't populating the data.

To copy your exchange account contacts to iCloud, do the following:
Go to Settings>iCloud, turn Contacts to Off, choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (any iCloud contacts will still be in iCloud).
Download the app My Contacts Backup. (If you have more than 500 contacts to transfer from our exchange account you will need the “Pro” version. If you aren't sure, start with the free version. When you use it, it will tell you if you need the paid version.) Use the app to back up the remaining contacts on your phone (from your exchange account) as a vCard attachment to an email that and send the email to yourself. Confirm that you have received the email.
Go to Settings>iCloud and turn Contacts back to On.
Go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Account (in the Contacts section) and set this to iCloud.
Go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars…tap your exchange account and turn off contacts syncing.*
Open the My Contacts Backup email and tap the attachment to import the exchange contacts back to your device, and to iCloud. Go to icloud.com to confirm that the contacts are there. If you ever want to "refresh" this with your current exchange contacts, you can reply to this conversation in the future and I can give you the steps to do so.
* You could leave it turned on if you want to reference it occasionally. If you do, just open contacts and tap Groups, then tap the exchange account so it is unchecked and tap Done. That will hide them from view so you don't see duplicates.
