Graphics driver not working good on Satellite 1410-304
Hi there,
I have installed latest Graphic card driver on my TS S1410-304 (latest auto-actualization can find anyway...) and about 1,5cm of the right side of the screen disappeared. I mean that computer thinks that they are not there, even if I set screen resolution at 1024x768 (969x768 being default), it behaves like I have set it on wider resolution than monitor has and scrolls to that invisible corner. GC is GeForce 4 420 Go. Does anyone know how to fix that?

From where did you download the graphic driver and what graphic driver did you use???
You should use the Toshiba graphic drivers. These drivers are designed especially for the notebook usage and other graphic drivers for example from the graphic card manufacture are designed for usage on the desktop PCs.
Therefore follow the link suggested above and install the driver from the Toshiba page.

Wireless key is not working on my Satellite 1410
I have Satellite 1410-303 system. I installed one broadcom802.11b/gwlan its working properly but I cannot off and on by fn-f8 key using. I want solve the problem.
Can anybody offer a solution?There is a list of supported PnP-IDs in the registry under HKLM\Software\Toshiba\Wireless Hotkey.
Look for the PnP-ID of your Wlan card in the device manager and overwrite one of those you don't need in the registry. -
DVD-RW drive not working properly on Satellite A40-702
This is on my Toshiba SA-40-702 Satellite lap top. It's five years old.
Hi, I have been looking at the threads for this problem and have not been able to spot a similar thread yet.
My dvd-rw WILL play a purchased audio music cd, and it will also work with the discs which were supplied with the laptop. S something is working OK......However, I have recently tried burning a music track (from i-tunes) and it showed up blank, but strangeley the cd did play the music track OK in a machine at work. I have now tried to view some other discs which I recorded on this laptop in january, and they now show as blank discs and I can't see their contents (they were text documents and photos). They were working before.
I have this weekend made many attempts to burn 30 photos, and I have tried two different makes of blank dvd discs, but although the laptop says "burning to disc" etc, when I try to view the burned disc, there is nothing on it !!!
I wonder if anyone has any suggestions please. I have tried to clean the little blue eye with a fine hair brush inside dvd drawer, so I expect the next step may be to just buy some newer discs ????

My personal opinion is; the drive cannot handle the burned mediums due to the stressed laser lens. Fact is that your notebook and the drive is more than 5 years old.
I dont know how the drive was used in the last years but due to the long time of usage its possible that the lens cannot read the data from the CDs/DVDs now.
This is not unusual. My brothers notebook cannot read the CDs/DVDs which were burned one year ago I presume its the same reason the drives laser lens issue
Hmm you dont have many possibilities you could try to burn these disks again with another notebook/computer and then could check if you can red the data.
The last option would be the drive replacement -

Hi, I am trying out arch linux for the first time and things have been going pretty smoothly so far. I am in the process of trying to get an xorg default environment going. After doing some research on what the error means, it seems to be a graphics problem.
I am also installing arch on vmware 9.
I am a linux noob so try not to assume I know very much. this is the error when i run startx:

I have been following the beginners guide on the arch wiki to install the gfx drivers, and I may have completely cocked it up.
My GFX card is an Nvidia Geforce GTX 260
I first got the nvidia-utils and then tried to install the driver( i think)
The commands i ran were:
pacman -S lib32-nvidia-utils
pacman -S nvidia
and that's it.
I'm probably just being a noob, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sound & Graphics Drivers not working for Qosmio F15R
I was granted this Laptop with nothing more than AC Adapter. I didn't need the information contained in it and didn't want to deal with its configuration issues either, so I started planning formatting it. Looking for model number label at the bottom found it says "Qosmio F15R". I couldn't found this model number at support website for drivers, closest model was F-15AV201, figured it out by watching its pictures in detailed specs documentation. Everything but Bluetooth seemed to be available, so I formatted and reinstalled Windows XP Pro SP3 and then downloaded all drivers. Touchpad, Ethernet, Wireless, Flash memory, TV-FM and DVD-RAM worked just fine. On the other hand Sound, Display and Modem didn't work at all.
While installing Sound driver I got this error message:

After installing Display driver checked display adapter properties and found this:

I couldn't find any proper driver nor for sound nor display, so I tried a shareware, Everest:

wich showed me the same chipset, video card and sound card model numbers than PC Wizard.
I realized that chipset, and display model didn't match detailed specs documentation. I thought that hardware was not working properly, so I downloaded and installed a Linux distro (Kubuntu 9.10 RC i386), and fount out that display and sound were working just fine but I need it to work properly with Windows XP.
Can anyone tell me where can I get sound and display drivers (and even Bluetooth if possible) for this laptop? Thanks in advance. Regards.I have the same problem with audio driver. the version 11.1.4 of iTunes not working good because it's not recognizing my iPhone and I can't do anything.
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features(Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (If this won't uninstall press on)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
and paste into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error. -
i have hp pavilion dv4 series.my dvd drive not worked properly.for that purpose only i went 7 times in your service centre but they won't take action till now .why u people do like this .i want explation and just change my dvd drive that's all.

Sounds like a bad drive...I would get a replacement. According to Accelerate Your Mac database, it should work without issue.
Just enter the model number of the drive and select your Powerbook G3 2000, and you will see four reports on this model.

If you want to show Form1, you can use form.show() method

my iphone is now just coverd with case and the back house is crasedEtisalat, Mobinil and Vodafone provide warranty service in your country. You can also search Google for a 3rd party repair shop near you.

If you can see an image on your screen then your graphics card (Intel HD Graphics 3000) integrated into your 13" machine is working just fine.
I'm not sure what you mean when you say that a video file isn't working... how exactly isn't it 'working' and what file format is it in?
