Graphics help needed - not fireworks

Just a quick, general graphics question on transparencies.
I have a transparency that I'm trying to replicate. I can't
use *.gif's
apparently, b/c they won't be actually transparent -they're
all pixilated.
So I moved to *.png's. However, in my IE 6, my *png's are not
transparent,
either - they're showing like they've got a background
attached to them.
Any suggestions on where to go to look, etc. on answers to
how to do this?

Urgent Help needed- Not able to schedule reports in BI Publisher

Hi,
I have configure the scheduler service on my windows server. Now i am trying to schedule a report from BI pubisher. But it is not working. When i click submit button, It is not doing anything. It seems it adds entry in the job schedule table. Even when i click schedules link, it shows just show progress status on explorer status bar but nothing happens.
Any help would be on this would be highly appretiated.

Hi Prasad,
Are you still having the problem? Which version of BI Publisher are you running? If you are running an earlier version, then upgrade it to 10.1.3.3.3 and the problem gets solved. We also had the same problem when we were on 10.1.3.3.0 and now it's gone after we upgraded. Hope this helps.

hi there . i have a 2gb nano . i have put some photos on it and when i try to put more on , it deletes the other ones. i no i am meant to select (copy selected folders only ), but it won't let me. also , with the photos i have on there is the a way of renaming the files so it is easier to find those photos or can you only do that with the ipod colour screen. at the moment is says ( april ) . thanx . please help . p.s. at first i could select (copy selected folders only ), but i must have changed a setting. on the ipod i reset all the settings.

I'm not entirely sure what I am looking for. A whole bunch of information scrolled by, all of it saying "success", no sign of any words that mean failed. But then it went to a gray screen, then to a black screen, and now there is a white space in the upper left (reminiscent of the old box cursor) and the screen is intermittently flashing white, though it doesn't quite involve the entire screen.

In short, I love it. I was going to buy the 5DMark III. After playing with it for a while at my local Fry's store where they put 5DMII, 5DMIII and 6D next to each other, using the same 24-105L lens, I decided to get the 6D and pocket the different for lens later.
I'm upgrading from the 30D. So I think you'll love it. It's a great camera. I have used 5DMII extensively before (borrowing from a close friend).
Funny thing is at first I don't really care about the GPS and Wifi much. I thought they're just marketing-gimmick. But once you have it, it is actually really fun and helpful. For example, I can place the 6D on a long "monopod", then use the app on the phone to control the camera to get some unique perspective on some scenes. It's fun and great. GPS is also nice for travel guy like me.

Downgrading the iOS is not supported. If you are using Safari this try clearing its cache via Settings > Safari.
If that doesn't work then try closing Safari completely and then re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
A third option is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

I’m working on a Report, it gets some 2 million records and the report pages are approximately 52,000
It works fine if the pages are lesser then 48,000 or the data is less let say one and half a million, the problem occurs only after 48000 + pages formatted.
Report is generated successfully when trying to go to the last page it throw an error.
REP-1800 Formatter error
VGS-1701 Not enough memory
I have already gone through the metalink DOC Id 95505.1 as well as OTN
But all in vain,
Any comments or help much appreciated.
Details are:
Reports 6i (Clients/Server) on Windows platform
(Windows XP Professional with SP 2)
Database: Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.5.0
Computer:
Pentium(R) 4, CPU 3.00GHz, 1 GB of RAM
Still 20 GB free space

I don't see the point in making a report with more than 48,000 pages, I think Al Gore will not be happy when you start printing it...
The problem might be caused by the fact that Reports needs to format all output at once, and then even 1GB of memory will probably be not enough. Formatting all pages at once is needed if you use pagination with displaying total number of pages. If you have this, try to get that out of the report definition and try again.

Hello. My internal microphone stopped working ever since I stopped using the default Toshiba version of Windows 7.
I have downloaded all the correct drivers for my Toshiba L750-BT4N22, especially the Conexant SmartAudio HD driver.
My internal microphone shows up in sounds/hardware, but it says "Not Plugged In". Also, every once in a while my sound get's choppy when I "seek" or move fast through a video file.

I am having similar problem. Can't open any of CS3 programs after trying to download Dreamweaver Trial, which wouldn't work because "couldn't remove DLM extention" error message. So now I can not run Illustrator, Photoshop, or even Adobe Reader. These are properly licensed for about a year. I get "License for product has stopped working". Have 2 pending cases open with Adobe support (one for Dreamweaver trial, one for license problem) since 8/3 with NO ANSWERS - It says answers within 1-3 business days. Was on phone support hold today for over 3 hours before line went dead with no help. What is up with adobe support? Can anyone help?
