Graphics Not Being Converted

I have tried converting several pdf documents to word and no graphics are produced in any of the conversions.

Good day,
If your PDF document already contains renderable (selectable) text, try turning off the 'Recognize text' option before converting your document, then give it another try.
Let us know how it goes!

  • Special character not being converted to upper case

    Hi all,
    I have an issue with special characters and upper/lower case.
    The character "ü" is in one of the values of an InfoObject and when loading we get an error message for this value. The character "Ü" is in RSKC, but still we are getting an error when loading.
    We are converting the values to upper case in the transfer rules, but this special character is not being converted to upper case...
    We start with the value "Heüringen" and after conversion we have the value "HEüRINGEN" where we want to have "HEÜRINGEN".
    Do you have any idea why this characer is not being converted?
    Any ideas are welcome!
    Best regards,
    TMV

    Hi Praveen,
    What does this module actually do? What kind of characters will the special chars be replaced with?

  • Graphics in Power Point not being converted to PDF

    Hi guys
    I'm trying to convert a Power Point 2010 document to a PDF using Acrobat XI Pro
    below is what happens before and after the conversion....
    ....the graphics disappear.
    In the Power Point document editing is enabled.
    In Power Point i can only select the text and not the orange graphic.
    When using "combined files" within Acrobat or the Acrobat tab within Power Point 2010 I get the same results.
    Does anyone know a fix?
    Thanks
    Jamie

    Make sure you have applied all updated to Acrobat XI (Help->check for updates). If you can still reproduce the problem, would it be possible for you to share a file that demonstrates the problem?

  • Not receiving texts from iPhone contacts when I'm not connected to wifi or cell data. I can't send and receive regular SMS texts with non iMessage users but iMessage users message are not being converted to text when I don't have internet connect

    I can send and receive to any non iPhone user. I can send a message as a text to an iPhone user but if I'm not connected to cellular data or wifi I do not receive messages from iPhone contacts. From what I understand these message should automatically send to me as texts instead of iMessages but since the update it's not functioning properly. Please help. I've tried turning iMessage off and I still don't receive the messages until after I reconnect to wifi.

    I have the same problem! Before the upgrade, if I wasn't connected to the internet, any messages sent to me from an iphone would convert automatically to a text message. I have payg tarriff, so I turn cell data off, as it costs too much to use it. I have wifi at home and work, but if I'm out and about, I don't receive texts from iphone users until I'm on wifi. I get them ok from non iphone users. There was never any problem until ios7

  • MOBILEME GALLERY in sidebar not being converted to iPhoto11 from iPhoto09

    o Have factory fresh Mac Pro with iPhoto 11 (9.1.1)
    o Copied over an iPhoto Library, created in iPhoto 09 (8.1.2) on a G5 running OSX 10.5.8, to the Mac Pro's hard disk. iPhoto Library that was copied includes photos, ALBUMS and MOBILEME GALLERY albums (MMGA), all listed in iPhoto 09's sidebar on the left. MMGA were the source to create the current gallery of albums with photos on my MobileMe account.
    o On Mac Pro launched, via double click, the iPhoto09 Library that was copied from over from the G5
    o iPhoto 11 converted incoming info and all seems ok except sidebar at left does not list my MOBILEME GALLERY albums, rather it only lists
    - LIBRARY RECENT ALBUMS PROJECTS but no MOBILEME GALLERY
    How do I get these albums listed in my left sidebar under MOBILEME GALLERY?
    Don't the MOBILEME GALLERY albums convert from iPhoto09 to iPhoto11?
    Moderators - I also posted this in the iPhoto09 section. Probably should be deleted there as more applicable to iPhoto11. Thanks - STL

    Turns out the albums associated with MobileMe albums will be listed under WEB in the sidebar. I generated a small album for MobileMe in iPhoto11 and the WEB identifier appeared with my mobileme identifier underneath. Albums in my MobileMe gallery were then listed in the iPhoto window. I don't have clue why this happened.
    I would appreciate an explanation by someone that understands why I encountered this issue.
    Anyway, it seems to be working now although 11's sidebar identifiers are different than 09's.

  • SC not being converted to PO

    Hi Gurus,
    Right now, we're having some troubles with a Shopping Cart that got stuck on Approved status and doesn't appear in the Carry Out Sourcing.
    Per what I see in BBP_PD:
    HEADER     I1009          Held                           X
    HEADER     I1015          Awaiting Approval              X
    HEADER     I1021          Created
    HEADER     I1038          Complete
    HEADER     I1039          Incomplete                     X
    HEADER     I1106          Shopping cart ordered
    HEADER     I1129          Approved
    (held, awapproval and incomplete in red)
    I tried with FM BBP_PD_SC_STATUS_CHANGE_WF and got error: Error changing to status RELS , System status APPR is active.
    Can you help us, please?
    Thank you.

    Hi Melina
    SOURCE_REL_IND Indicator is marked with YES value, so, this is not an option anymore I think.
    In Define Sourcing for Product Categories there're only 2 rows:
    - Cat ID *, with no Source System defined and Sourcing "Sourcing Carried Out for Items Without Assigned Source of Supply".
    - Cat ID xxxxx, with a Source system defined and Sourcing "Sourcing Carried Out for Items Without Assigned Source of Supply".
    Looks like the Prod Cat used in the SC is defined (scenario is Extended Classic)
    The Indicator is defined and the Prod Cat too.. is something else I could check to validate why this SC is stucked and not going to sourcing?
    One confused thing I found in the Partner information from the SC, in bbp_pd.. it doesn't have Ship-To Address information... could this be related?
    Thank you

    I just got my laptop back from being repaired, and it seems that, after freshly installing arch, the secondary GPU is not being recognised. I have used lspci and xrandr --listproviders and have come up with only the integrated card. Currently I am running on a samsung series 7 chronos 15.6 inch with the HD intel integrated chipset and a second  Raedon HD6490M. Any ideas? Thank you for any help you can give, and I hope my formatting was alright. I am new to the forum.

    I went back earlier today and tryed looking into my BIOS and came up with nothing. There, oddly enough, is no setting to enable or disable, or even set some sort of graphics card. I have; however, looked into the problem a bit more and by luck found that others with the same laptop had a sort of similar problem on windows, and they used the SWupdate tool to fix it. I am going to try sometime soon to make a small partition and install windows, and hopefully update the BIOS.

  • Date not being displayed in the custom format

    Hi ,
      I have a problem wherein i am unable to change the format of the date.
    I need the date to be in the format 'January 10,2010.' however the date is being displayed as '1/10/10'. I have tried all options for the date formatting. I specified the custom format as 'MMMM D,YYYY' as mentioned in the SAP Library. I am trying to use the std custom options like YYYY-MM-DD, the date is not being dispalyed in the custom format provided by SAP either.
    I have binded date from the context, used the Current Date field provided by SAP.  Nothing works.
    Its not working on the new form. However the old forms have the same kind of formatting and are being displayed as desired.
    Please suggest as to what the issue could be.
    Thanks,
    Soumya.

    Hi All,
    Even I'm encountering the same issue. I'm trying to control the outputted date format programmatically.Please have a look.
    data: v_int_date like sy-datum,
            v_ext_date(10).
    v_int_date = '20110201'
    write v_int_date to v_ext_date MM/DD/YYYY.
    Here I've tried to convert the date to external format using a fixed format(MM/DD/YYYY). But still it's getting outputted in the format DD/MM/YYYY only as that's the way its defined in the User Master!
    Is there any solution for this? How can I 'override' defaults in the SAP User Master?
    Thanks,
    Mahesh

  • Crystal Reports 2010 SP1 on IIS 7.0 - Report is not being displayed

    Hi,
    Finally, the keycode assembly, BusinessObjects.Licensing.KeycodeDecoder.dll error is gone, after I installed Crystal Runtime 2010 SP1. Also, I tested Crystal Report 2010 SP1 on my Windows 32 application and I can tell that I do not have this error anymore and report is being displayed properly.
    But Crystal Report is not being displayed on ASP.NET page on MS Server 2008 standard edition SP2 with IIS 7.0. Database resides on iSeries remote machine.
    The MS Server 2008 is virtual machine.
    OS system has:
    Crystal Report Basic Runtime for Visual Studio 2008
    SAP Crystal Reports Runtime engine for .NET Framework 4 (32-bit)
    Simply the report is not being displayed at all. No errors are being recorded in the Event Viewer.
    Nothing happens; excerpt the page is Loadingu2026 and Waiting for u2018website nameu2019 in the left lower corner of Firefox web browser.
    Here is the code behind aspx page with a command button - very simple:
    using CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine;
    using CrystalDecisions.Shared;
    protected void Button1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
    ReportDocument crReportDocument;
    Database crDatabase;
    Tables crTables;
    // CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.Table crTable;
    TableLogOnInfo crTableLogOnInfo;
    ConnectionInfo crConnectionInfo;
    crConnectionInfo = new ConnectionInfo();
    //Set server name
    crConnectionInfo.ServerName = this._strServerName;
    //set database name
    crConnectionInfo.DatabaseName = this._strDatabaseName;
    crConnectionInfo.UserID = this._strUserID;
    crConnectionInfo.Password = this._strUserPassword;
    //Set integrated security
    crConnectionInfo.IntegratedSecurity = false;
    crReportDocument = new ReportDocument();
    crReportDocument.Load(Server.MapPath("~/crystal-reports/TransformerLoad/TransLoadMonthlyMax.rpt"));
    crDatabase = crReportDocument.Database;
    //Set all tables from current report file
    crTables = crReportDocument.Database.Tables;
    //crTableLogOnInfo.ConnectionInfo = crConnectionInfo;
    //Apply schema name to the table's location
    foreach (CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.Table _crTable in crTables)
    crTableLogOnInfo = _crTable.LogOnInfo;
    crTableLogOnInfo.ConnectionInfo = crConnectionInfo;
    _crTable.ApplyLogOnInfo(crTableLogOnInfo);
    //Check if database table name starts
    if (_crTable.Location.StartsWith("XFMRSMAX", StringComparison.CurrentCulture) ||
    _crTable.Location.StartsWith("XFMRSMIN", StringComparison.CurrentCulture))
    //_crTable.Location = this._strSchemaName + "." + _crTable.Location.Remove(8) + Convert.ToInt32(Request.QueryString\"ReportYear\");
    _crTable.Location = "XFMRSMAX09";
    else
    _crTable.Location = _crTable.Location;
    this.CrystalReportViewer1.ReportSource = crReportDocument;
    This code runs on my development machine Win XP SP3
    OS system has:
    Crystal Report Basic Runtime for Visual Studio 2008
    SAP Crystal Reports Runtime engine for .NET Framework 4 (32-bit)
    This code also runs on another development server - Windows XP SP3 (IIS 5.1)
    OS system has:
    Crystal Report Basic Runtime for Visual Studio 2008
    SAP Crystal Reports Runtime engine for .NET Framework 4 (32-bit)
    ispnet_client folder has IUSR user and this user has read permissions to this folder. I even tried to change the permissions to Read & Execute.
    I am developing my reports using Crystal Reports 2008 SP2.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Serghei

    Hi Ludek,
    Thank you for your response.
    I checked the web.config file, all http handlers are there. I think the handlers are required to render the images on crystal report viewer but in my case the report viewer is not being rendered.
    I have to questions:
    1. What exact folders should be under aspnet_client\system_web?
    In my case I have structure like this
    aspnet_client\system_web\2_0_50727\crystalreportviewers13
    aspnet_client\system_web\4_0_30319\crystalreportviewers13
    Should I have folders something like this
    aspnet_client\system_web\2_0_50727\crystalreportviewers13_1
    aspnet_client\system_web\4_0_30319\crystalreportviewers13_1
    after I installed Crystal Reports 2010 SP1
    Also, in C:\Program Files\SAP BusinessObjects\Crystal Reports for .NET 4.0\Common\Crystal Reports 2011\ there is no folder named as crystalreportviewers13 but instead crystalreportviewers
    a.     Should I copy all files from this folder to aspnet_client\system_web\2_0_50727\crystalreportviewers13, or
    b.     Should I copy all files from this folder to aspnet_client\system_web\2_0_50727\crystalreportviewers13 and rename this folder to
    crystalreportviewers
    2. Can you explain how to get a data report?
    This is the quote from your previous answer
    I'd be interested to see this simplified to a saved data report - no DB logon code - as a test...
    Thank you Serghei

  • IPod Shuffle not being recognized by my PC

    Hi, I just bought 2 Apple iPod Shuffles from eBay. I have a slight problem. When I plug them into my USB port, iTunes does not recognize them. They show up in My Computer though. When I try to re-install/reset the factory settings it says "Plug in a device" or something like that. My guess is that I bought them from a Mac user.
    My question is: How might I go about converting it from Mac to Windows?
    :: I am not sure this is the problem though, this is just a guess ::
    -Thanks
    HP Pavilion Laptop   Windows XP

    I have a similar problem, my iPod Shuffle is being read in my Windows 2000 but in the iTunes it's not being recognized.
    When I try to play the iPod, the green and orange lights blink simultaneously.
    When I try and double-click on the icon for it in My Computer, it's saying that it can't be accessed because of an I/O device error.
    Finally, I come to the site and get the latest update and when I try to update, it's saying that there's an iPod service error.
    Hope that generalizes everything of what I'm saying and similar to Niko's problem as well.

    The latest intel drivers only support UXA, so any AccelMethod option is ignored, as you can't set anything else than UXA.

  • XMP files not being created with DNGs...

    I'm used to using Bridge with ACR to process Nikon NEFs. But a recent camera update has me experimenting with converting the D3's NEFs to DNG files and editing them with CS2 and Bridge 1.04 which works better on my system. I've also experimented with CS3 and Bridge 2.1.1.9 with the same DNG files.
    In both cases XMP files are not being created when working with DNG files. I have enabled "Save image settings in : Sidecar ".xmp" files" turned ON. But they do not seem to be generated and I assume the ACR adjustments are being embedded in the DNG file. Meanwhile doing edits on NEF files continues to create .xmp files as expected.
    I find .xmp files to be very useful and I'm wondering why they're missing with DNG files? Are they hiding somewhere other than in the same folder that the images reside in?
    Thanks.
    Russell

    > The information contained in the XMP file is stored in the DNG file so there is no need for a separate file.
    Aww, yuck!! That's a real drag...
    When editing lots of files (yesterday's shoot produced 8GB) I back everything up to off-line storage and then, after doing all my edits and crops in ACR, I only have to copy over the small XMP files which takes no time at all.
    So if I re-edit the DNG with ACR I have to re-copy ALL the files again to the off-line storage.
    I used to sometimes even save 2 versions of the xmp files when I needed 2 different crops of the same images, such as doing a wide screen 'cinema' crop for a corporate client's Intranet presentation of their event, as well as more standard crops to be used for their newsletters.
    Guess I won't be using DNG any more..
    Thanks for the help Kees :-)

    Why do I get a totally blank PDF file whenever I try to convert any (Microsoft Office Home and Student 2010, Version: 14.0.6029.1000) Word document file containing either Mangal Fonts (Hindi) and Tunga Fonts (Kannada) into a PDF file (by using Adobe Acrobat X Standard - English, Version: 10.1.4, Program File Size: 1790 MB, Complete/Full Version) after formatting and reinstalling all the necessary software / softwares (Microsoft Windows XP, Home Edition, Version 2002, Service Pack 3 and Windows XP Service Pack 3, Version: 20080414-031525, Program File Size: 9.08 MB)?
    I'm using
    01) Microsoft Windows XP, Home Edition, Version 2002, Service Pack 3
    02) Computer: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00 GHz 3.00 GHz, 504 MB of RAM
    03) Windows XP Service Pack 3, Version: 20080414-031525, Program File Size: 9.08 MB
    04) Microsoft Office Home and Student 2010, Version: 14.0.6029.1000, Product ID: 82503-388-0792296-26607, Program File Size: 490 MB
    05) Adobe Acrobat X Standard - English, Version: 10.1.4, Program File Size: 1790.00 MB, Complete/Full/All Version/Features has/have been installed
    06) Windows Internet Explorer 8, Version: 20090308.140743, Program File Size: 4.20 MB
    Any Word 2010 document file that has been converted into any PDF File unfortunately does not show either the Mangal (Hindi) Fonts or the Tunga (Kannada) Fonts.
    The PDF file will unfortunately become/remain totally/fully/completely blank.
    When I convert an Excel Workbook having the Tunga Fonts (Kannada) to/into a PDF File, some of the Tunga fonts in the PDF file are legible and some are unfortunately illegible (get superimposed / overwritten on each other).
    Perhaps I may get the same result if I try to convert an Excel Workbook having the Mangal Fonts (Hindi) to/into a PDF File with some Mangal fonts being/becoming legible and the rest being/becoming illegible (getting superimposed / overwritten on each other).

    My chronological sequence of steps to create a Word 2010 Document or an Excel 2010 Workbook:
    I first create a Word Document File or an Excel Workbook File and save it by giving an appropriate file name.
    Then I right click on the closed Word Document File or the Excel Workbook File in the file folder and convert it into a PDF by retaining the same/original file name.
    The font list of Microsoft Word 2010 claims/says/states that both Mangal and Tunga are True Type fonts and also that these fonts will/would be used on both printer and screen.
    In case if there is any text content in English in the beginning it will get converted into PDF only till/until either a Mangal(Hindi)/Tunga(Kannada) Font starts.
    The remaining English text content does not get converted into/to PDF the moment a Mangal(Hindi)/Tunga(Kannada) Font starts. If the entire matter is purely (100 per cent) in English text it will fully / completely / totally get converted into a PDF file without any problem.

  • Crystal Reports Excel Export Issue - page footer not being displayed

    We recently converted all Crystal Reports from Visual Studio 2003 to Visual Studio 2005 sp1, .NET 2.0, Crystal Reports for .NET.  I have the latest merge modules from business objects.  All reports & footers worked fine in VS2003 ... but now when I export to PortableDocumentFormat (PDF) or WordForWindows (DOC) the page footers appear correctly.  But, when I export to Excel (XLS) like the code below, the page footers do not appear.  We need to place a disclaimer at the bottom of every page of an exported excel document.  I checked the print preview, and I tested printing the document ... the the footer is not being utilized properly by the Crystal Reports export.
    System.IO.MemoryStream oStream = new System.IO.MemoryStream() ;
    oStream = (System.IO.MemoryStream) report.ExportToStream(CrystalDecisions.Shared.ExportFormatType.Excel) ;
    Response.Clear() ;
    Response.Buffer = true ;
    Response.ContentType = "application/vnd.ms-excel" ;
    Response.BinaryWrite(oStream.ToArray()) ;
    Response.End();
    I have asked the question in msdn forum
    http://forums.msdn.microsoft.com/en-US/vsreportcontrols/thread/0ead9e34-bc45-4062-90dd-17f8f8ebf062

    fyi - if i hadn't mentioned it, problem occurs in all our environments (developer workstation, development server, testing server, production server, etc.)
    on my development workstation i found the file 3 times
    c:\program files\common files\business objects\1.0\bin\crxf_xls.dll
    has file version 9.1.1.557
    c:\program files\common files\business objects\2.7\bin\crxf_xls.dll
    has file version 10.2.0.1093
    c:\program files\common files\business objects\3.0\bin\crxf_xls.dll
    has file version 11.0.0.1937
    on my development server (and our other environment servers too)
    c:\program files\common files\business objects\2.7\bin\crxf_xls.dll
    has file version 10.2.0.1210
    so just from that i notice that the file versions in the 2.7 bin are different from my developer workstation to my development server ... but the issue still occurs in both places.

  • Special characters are not being displayed normally after recent update.

    FF messed up with that recent update. Special characters are now not being displayed properly - they somehow stretch the whole line where they are posted. It was fine before

    Here you can see what I mean (Opera & FF screenshots), Opera has no problems with them, see highlighted:

    Which version were you using before?
    Some font issues may be caused by graphics hardware acceleration. Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.
    You can disable it, but you might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
    orange Firefox button ''or'' classic Tools menu > Options > Advanced
    On the "General" mini-tab, uncheck the box for "Use hardware acceleration when available"
    Does that make any difference?
