Graphics not loading

I'm having trouble with my site http://web.mac.com/mlbridge/Site/Home.html. Even after publishing several times, it seems to lose the 'made with mac' graphic and the 'RSS' graphic and the "podcast" graphic. Some of my pages they work and some they don't, I dunno why!

Tysclan2 - It's hard to know for sure, but what I would do in iWeb is turn on the layout outline (View / Show Layout ) and make sure that different elements, text boxes, graphics, & photos are not overlapping. Resize when needed. Then publish to a folder and view it on your computer before uploading to .Mac. Keep us posted. - Fabe

Well you need internet connection now, for one time atleast, to use those backgrounds, graphics and frames.
In order to save the space on machines and reduce the download size of the software, Adobe has moved most of the content online. So if you have internet connected, just launch Editor, the thumbnails will start downloading in the background. So after some time you will see those items added in your Graphics panel.
But those are just the thumbnails (which will have a blue strip on the top right side). In order to use them you need to download each individually. Just double click on the one you want to use.and it will be downlaoded (Needless to say that you will need internet connection for this).
One Benefit - It save a lot of space on your system, because not use many use all the graphics.

Phone and Tablet Correct Graphics Not Loading

Dear Adobe Community,
My fantasy entertainment website is http://www.pazzaria.com . In Muse, under the "Tablet" and "Phone" tabs , I have graphics that need to load, on that device. Unfortunately, when I have tested on iPhone and iPad, it wants to load the "Desktop" version. Under "Site Properties", under both "Tablet" and "Phone", "Redirect from Desktop" are checked. Please advise on what I must to, to get the right graphics to load, on the right device. Thank you kindly.

Looking at the desktop site i found that you are calling the desktop site using a frameset from http://dlrwiz.com/pazzaria_dot_com_two_point_zero.
Due to this redirection is not working.
Please contact your host to make sure the site files are upload to the folder where the domain is pointing to so that it can work properly.

Graphic not loading up when...

Because of technical reasons I can't have my class files and graphics in the same place as the html file, but this isn't the problem as I use the codebase property. But some graphics weren't loading up (whilst some where) so I decide to put the class file, graphics files and sound files together in a jar file. But the some of the graphics still don't load up, what can I do?
By the way the applet isn't mine and so I don't have the jave file so I can't re-compile it. The code was compiled with Java 1.0. Graphics will not load for map view error: Could not find default.styleproto in framework

Hey there,
I am trying to load a mapview using Mapkit and everything was working a week ago. When I got the update for 4.5 for xcode all of a sudden the mapview would not load properly. It seems to pin point on my location properly but there is no graphics. I have made sure that my .mapType is set properly and I have looked at all the other settings. Also a project that uses mapview on another computer gets the same problem I am getting, it seems I have lost this file "default.styleproto" from somewhere.
If it helps, I had problems with my first download of xcode, I had two versions some how running on my computer so I ran a command line script to erase everything to do with xcode so I could download a new copy and start from fresh. It seemed to have deleted my "developer" folder for my apps.

I had the same problem and the map wouldn't work at all. The files should be in the folder
~/Library/Application Support/iPhone Simulator/[6.0 and above]/Library/Caches/GeoServices/Resources
In my case I had 3 styleproto files in there including [email protected] which I duplicated and renamed to default.styleproto. Now the map works but all the icons are @2x size, which is very annoying. I thought of using the default.styleproto file from a different computer but it didn't have it either.
Any real solution to this?

TS3408 I am unable to use Safari because the web pages fail to load or does not load graphics. I am not pleased with the current Safari and will now have to use a secondary browser.

My issues is with multiple websites. Buttons do not work, pages do not load completly or the graphics are not visible. I need to use another browser such as FIrefox or Chrome.

This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you boot, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, reboot as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of Steps 1 and 2.

Google chat will not load nor will the graphics on all the web pages but it works ok in other browsers, what can I do to fix this?

utube vids play but the (pics) graphics do not load on any web page I go to and my google chat says it can't connect to internet but my internet works fine and google chrome works fine too. and google mail graphic buttons for email are not appearing also.

If images are missing then check that you do not block images from some domains.

Check the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
Check "Tools > Page Info > Media" for blocked images
*Select the first image link and use the cursor Down key to scroll through the list.
*If an image in the list is grayed and "Block Images from..." has a checkmark then remove this checkmark to unblock images from this domain.
Make sure that you do not block (third-party) images, the permissions.default.image pref on the about:config page should be 1.
Make sure that you haven't enabled a High Contrast theme in the Windows/Mac Accessibility settings.
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own colors.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"
Note that these settings affect background images.

The website loads but some of the graphics will not load

Hello,
When I try to access the blizzard.com website for the Diablo 3 game the site loads but some of the graphics will not load and none of the videos from the site will run.
Up on the page tab it shows a page with the upper right corner folded over instead of the logo for the website that is normally shown when the page loads correctly.
I have not had this trouble in the past it just started in the last few days.
I know there was an update to the firefox in that time mabye there is a setting that is not correct but I cannot find it.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

How can I fix Facebook if the graphics and format do not load correctly?

I've already tried disabling, enabling JavaScript. I've cleared my history and cookies. I've checked for malware. It still does not load correctly.

Are you missing images?
If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.

Firefox not loading graphics and pictues for one user

I am running 10.2.8 with Firefox 1.5.0.11 and one of the user accounts on my mac is not loading web pages properly. The IE for mac on that same account is working fine. All other accounts on the machine have firefox and work fine.
It must be a preference for that user account but trashing the firefox plist for that account doesn't help.
Can anyone help?

Thank you for your help. Do you know how to clear the user setting to fix this problem as stated in the link? I do not want to create a new user to fix this because it will take awhile to re-create the users custom menus, and it appears the the person in the other post continued to have the same problem after a couple of months after repeatedly creating new users.
We have used SAP Business One for 5 years without having this problem, and it just recently started happening, but only for the one user.

.gif files will not load into site

I posted a question earlier about pages not loading and the question was answered, but now my .gif files will not load. Below is the log:

I have them loading into the images folder that is in the htdocs folder.
I stated in my previous question that I am self taught via the adobe DW tutorial. I had a catastrophic computer crash and had to reload everything. I apparently did not tell DW which file to load into before and now that is fixed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was never a big fan of using DW to FTP. There are several FTP programs that you might find work better than DW. For example Filezilla, free and works pretty darn well.

For me, being able to graphically see my local site on one half my screen and the site as it sits on the server on the other half of the screen really helps me quickly spot problems if I upload something and it doesn't display.
Anyway... DW is not the only option for loading files to your server.

Image does not load in application

I read about the following in a loading image tutorial:
"The getImage methods return immediately, without checking whether the image data exists. The actual loading of image data normally doesn't start until the first time the program tries to paint the image. "
Basically, I am using the

IPhoto Will not Load even after reinstall

All of a sudden, iphoto will not load....I receive this error:
Iphoto cannot be loaded because of a problem.
Check with the developer to make sure that iphoto works with this version of Mac OS X. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and Mac OS X.
I reinstalled iphoto from the disk (so now I have iphoto and iphone (original) .....i reboot and then try to access the new iphoto....same error. iphoto library appears ok. I can still attach a pic via "photo browser" button in email.

ok, I trashed all of the receipts related to iphoto (once i knew to search on "iphoto receipts" this is what everyone said). I relaoded from the ilife '11 disk.....tried to load iphoto and got what you see below...same exact issue.

Adobe flash will not load - gives only a black screen

For all the (3) users on this computer.   For most browsers (Safari, Chrome, Firefox) The browser window goes 100% BLACK when a flash program link is opened and most of the time the cursor / Pointer freezes (occasionally disappears and all keyboard actions are blocked. Have to force quit or kill the box with the power key (which always bothers me.) No Adobe links work directly via the link in mail or in browser. Symptom in Mail is either the original window goes BLACK or a separate window opens in Black.
Current OS X 10.9.3 (13D65), Memory 4GB on 2.4 GHz Intel core i7 in MacBook Pro 15" Late 2011.
Relevant?? Items:
1.     The Adobe company checking device says Flash is not loaded. I have had flash 9, 10, 11, 12, & 13 working before the latest of   OS X upgrades were made.
2.     An aside, I recently (4 months ago) used a MacKeeper app. Today (not used except for information gathering) the "System Scan says my ProtectMac anti-virus is active and no security problems noted. Also noted was "Serious" issue relating to one of 128 issues (474.3 MB of 'junk' files-36.9 MB in 'Logs", 437.4 MB in Caches.) "Performance" listed as 'Fast.' No action is taken and System Scan app closed.
3.     I seem to have lost my copy of Flash 13 in the Applications folder and the install file tries to load "AdobeFlashPlayerInstaller_14_ltrosxd_aaa_aih.dmg"
This makes sense as to item 1. above.
4.      Another user loaded adobe flash 11 from a download file called, "AdobeFlashPlayerInstaller_11au_ltrosxd_aaa_aih.dmg." I do not understand the meaning of the part of the file name that reads "_11au_" as it seem to differ from other downloads for "_11eu_". Additionally the copy retained is filed in history and had only the user permissions of one user. Also that copy _11au_ has no mention of Browser Type in the name description of the .dmg file; but the "_11eu_" does mention Safari browser.   Since it was from July 8, 2013 I assume it doesn't matter and it should have been superseded by Flash 12 OSX. Mentioned here only for interest. Also, It may have been saved on this computer in case of rebuild for another user on the home network running 13" MacBook Pro 10.6 Leopard.
5. Attempts to reload Flash 13 from 'AdobeFlashPlayerInstaller_13au_ltrosxd_aaa_aih.dmg' as the "Adobe Flash Player Installer" connects to the latest version not yet installed and keeps downloading the Flash 14, which fails and locks up the browser.
6.     The download from get,Adobe.com starts out O.K. After the installer file.dmg completes well, Step 2. is to open it, that, too, works well with an open window of a mounted device on the desktop. The next step is to double-click the icon. That only works so far. A window opens and it has a progress thermometer but it never downloads any product and the link is declared "unavailable" immediately. Refuses to load and will not always give the pointer back or let the browser continue.
7.     While creating this 'Summary' something changed. Using Spotlight I found a different version of Flash Installer on my Mac. I clicked it to go to the Black screen after installer download competes and got a totally different response. I was set to take snapshots of the windows as they progressed. The ".dmg" Icon on the desktop changed from default plain white disk to the red "Flash Player" I had not seen for last 40 days.

The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Please take this step regardless of the results of Step 1.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of Steps 1 and 2.
