I have a mac book with the GMA 950 intel graphics card in it is not compatible with a game I purchased for my computer. I was wondering what my options are so I can play this game. I called apple and they said i need to make an appointment at the apple store and go there but thats a pain because its an hour away. So i was wondering if my graphics card can be updated to the new ones that are in the updated mac books or there is something else I can do, or am I just wasting my time and i should return the game and find something else to occupy my time. Does it cost anything, is it covered under my apple protection plan...?

It cannot be updated it is integrated. You would have to buy a different Mac to play the game.

What is the complete product name or product number?
There should be a service tag somewhere on the all-in-on PC.
This is going to depend on which motherboard is installed.
There is an option in some installed motherboard BIOS (Lavaca motherboard) that enables you to select the Intel HD graphics.
With the angelino2 mobo, you will have to remove the MXM card to see if that enables the onboard video.
What is the installed OS and CPU?

Business graphics support accents?

Hello:
I'm doing a spanish Business Graphic, so at the Category axis accent words will appear. The Category name is set with a supply function:
categoryVtoElement = wdContext.createCategoriaVtoElement();
categoryVtoElement.setNombreCateg("Próximo");
but when the graphic is display the "ó" character is replace for 2 freak symbols. I try writing as HTML ( see this
link:ISO
) but the string is not repleace for the "ó".
I searched all over the SDN and no documentation about it I found.
Any Idea?

Need full model number and Intel HD version (4000, 4600?) and which port you are using. Generally HDMI output is capped at full HD; 1920 x 1080.

I Guess you are trying in client server where its working fine.
If your application server is 9i Release 1 then you will have to set the variable FORMS60_REPFORMAT = PDF in the registry of 9i application server.
After this the report outputs will be in PDF. In that case the lines will definitely appear in the report.
If your application server is 9i release 2 or above i.e 10g R1 or R2.
try this.
destype=cache and destype=pdf.
I dont see any other issues which will cause for a improper output.

Graphics supported by clutter?

So I'm currently getting an error when I try and run gnome-shell or mutter
Unable to initialize Clutter: Unable to select the newly created GLX context
From what I understand this is because my graphics hardware is not supported right now. Is there anywhere I can find a list of the graphics hardware that is supported?

I haven't seen such a list yet.
Maybe some ppl can post which card/driver combination works well...
My cheap Radeon HD 4650 with the current xorg-radeon driver works almost perfect
(one small graphics glitch when scrolling the application list).

Will Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB graphics support 2560x1600 resolution?

HP has produced and brought to market more than a thousand different models of notebooks and desktop PCs over the years. It is difficult to help you if we don't know which specific model you own..
Method #1: If the notebook will boot into Windows, you can retrieve your Product Number by pressing Fn + Esc key.
Method #2:
Remove the battery and look in the compartment where the battery was installed. You should see a Service tag with printed part number and a product name. Please post the p/n (with all alphanumeric characters) here. If you live outside of North America, it helps us if you post the country of purchase. Also post the installed CPU type. (AMD or Intel)

Graphics support for itunes 8

Help required - itunes 8 has been installed on an Advent laptop running Windows VISTA and fitted with a SiS Marage 3 graphics chipset with 384Mb of available memory. The screen resolution is set to 1280x800 running in 32bit colour. Itunes loads, but is displayed as a totally black screen, apart from the album artwork in scroll mode. I have tried a fresh install, as well as various resolutions and colour bit depths - all to no effect. Anyone out there help?

I Have the same problem on my Equium A200D with Intel core2 Duo with Intel 965 graphics (same as Mac Mini) and ive tried re-installing it but this doesnt help is there anyone out there at all that can help?

Intel and Nvidia graphics - set which one support choosen game.

On some game forum one guy tell me i can set which one - intel or nvidia graphics support my choosen game, cuz i have intel processor and intel motherboard but also i have nvidia geforce 550ti graphics card, and my question is: Can i choose what graphics intel or nvidia support my choosen game ?

There's no reclocking for this card currently.
Nouveau runs it locked at 405 MHz GPU clock, 648 MHz memory clock, 810 MHz processor clock.

Olympus E-3 not supported in Leopard 10.5.2!

This is unbelievable! Am I missing something? Is there a way to read E-3 Raw files? If not, that is it for Aperture and maybe Apple itself. I definitely will replace Aperture and may migrate to Windows software so I can ditch Apple altogether when it is time to replace my computer. Many a company whose business was booming has subsequently failed, due to letting quality and customer service slide. Apple appears to be doing precisely thia with the delays in updating Aperture and the premature release of Leopard. Also, their unwillingness to tell customers when they can expect an update is unforgivable.
Is there a way to process E-3 Raw files - am I missing something?

DNG is a great step forward I agree, but it's an added step. Keep in mind there have been problems in the past with E-1 files and DNG conversion adding black lines around things shot against white bg for example and while DNG is a great Idea, it's not supporting the actual RAW files.
I don't think this is about customer relations to me anyways it's about a competitive professional editing product. In every way I love aperture over others. [Capture One Pro being a close second] Thats why it burns so much that there is no E-3 support.
Castro steps down, Blue-Ray wins the format war what a week! Back to playing with Aperture 2. I know Apple devs check out the forums so please do another graphics support update for cameras not yet supported like the E-3. I'll play with Capture One Pro demo and compare the output vs. DNG aperture and then make a call, but even so tethered shooting is out then and it's an extra step every import with Aperture.

PI 7.1: RFC Lookup Graphically in BPM

Hi,
I want to do a RFC lookup to XI abap stack in my graphical mapping.
The problem is my mapping is defined in a transformation step inside my BPM, and I'm not able to link my RFC CC to the Import parameter. Has anyone experience with this sort of flow yet, is this even possible because I don't have a receiver agreement because it's BPM?
I only can link following Container Element types: Simple Type / Abstract Interface / Receiver
SAP Library don't even talk about BPM's for the lookups:

Is Aperture faster using discrete graphics?

I'm considering a new Mac to replace my late 2006 MBP. Initially, I was debating with myself whether I should buy a new MacBook Pro, a Retina MBP, or wait for the new 27" iMac coming in December.
More recently, however, I've seen the 2012 Mac Minis, and they are benchmarking very similar numbers to the Retina MBP with the same processor.
But the big difference I see, is that the Mini only has the integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000, while all the other options have the integrated graphics, plus various flavors of nVidia GeForce grahics.
So, my question is, will Aperture be noticeably faster having (and using) the discrete grahics instead of having solely the integrated graphics?
I like to get the best performance for my money, but if the performance difference is only slight byt the dollar difference is large...

In summary, graphics are limiting to graphics processing so IMO we should buy strong discrete graphics boxes for heavy graphics apps because the OS, apps and camera file sizes are getting more demanding not less demanding of graphics support.
Personally I consider mobility essential and Aperture still fails to synch a laptop/desktop workflow, so I got rid of my MP/MBP setup for a strongest-graphics MBP.

but note that all 2012 cpus are strong. The Geekbench results linked do not measure application performance; graphics and RAM are what tend to be most limiting, not cpu.

At page6 "PI Development/Configuration", it saies "You are on the design maintenance screen in the Integration Builder.Expand the subnodes for the software component version for which you want to import interfaces".
What is "design maintenance screen" ? My IB version is: Service Pack:08 Release:NW07_08_REL.
When I open IB, it display a screen titled with "Configuration: Intergation Builder", I did not find "software component version" node on the left tree.

The Prerequisites state:
The JDBC channel to be used for the lookup must be configured and activated in the Integration Directory.
The definition of the table used for the lookup must already be imported into the ES Repository as an external definition
But I don't know how to create a JDBC channel and define the table.
