Graphs in Server Admin isn't updating any more.

Hi all,
The graphs in Server Admin doesn't show correctly. For any given time range, it's always 31% for CPU utilization and 28KB/s for network. However it's definitely not the case when comparing to Activity Monitor.
The graphs for web showing correctly for both throughput and requests.
Not sure if anyone had this problem before. I googled around and found no similar issues.
It's not a big deal but very annoying as I can't see server performance history any more.
Please help.

According to the manual page on the OS X Developer Library, fsck_cs has a bug:
fsck_cs does not perform an exhaustive validation, nor is it able to fix many of the inconsistencies that it does detect.
Somehow my MacBook Air didn't complete some I/O transactions to the SSD and therefore the physical volume of the core storage has "failed". Fixing inconsistencies didn't worked because of the bug mentioned above. Repartitioning disk0s2 and reinstalling the OS solved the problem.
@Link Davis: The SSD has not failed, if so the SMART status would have shown that. That's the most shared oppinion on many Apple related forums. I think you mean the disk, not the drive.
I'll not encrypt the SSD of the MacBook Air with the FileVault 2 until the bug is going to be fixed!

[Solved] KDE 4.10: The taskbar isn't transparent any more

Hi,
after the upgrade from KDE 4.9 to KDE 4.10 I noticed, that the taskbar isn't transparent any more.
So, up to now I couldn't find the settings to change that, that's why I just want to ask how I can get back the taskbar transparency?

Same: opengl is broken, even crashes kwin on start up. Only xrender compositing is working now. Even starting a new .kde4 folder hasn't fixed it. I guarantee it's f#@* Catalyst again.

Integration server information isn't updated

the update date of Integration Server have not been updated otherwise restart SAP instance.

Call transaction SXMB_ADM--> Integration Engine Configuration and
check if the role of the business system is Integration Server.
Press the Check (F7) button to check if the configuration is consistent
with the SLD.
There must be a WebAS ABAP business system in SLD for the XI system with the role Integration Server and not Application Server. If it is with role as Application Server, then change it to Integration Server. Now when u create any new BS for other systems, mark their role as Application Server and provide XI BS name as the Related Integration Server name

Server admin gone after updating to Mountain Lion

So I have a Mac Mini server running 10.6.8. I also have a Mac Book Pro that I use to administer the server remotely. I recently upgraded to Mountain Lion, and when I did it made my server admin, workgroup manager and server settings apps in my dock turn into question marks. What gives? How do I remotely administer my server now that my laptop is running Mountain Lion? I read something about an app that's $19.99 in the app store, but it seems like the app will turn my Mac Book Pro into a server and that's not what I want. I want to be able to add new users, turn services on and off remotely etc from my laptop. Any ideas?

You can't use a Mountain Lion Mac to run the Snow Leopard Server admin tools. If you had a Mountain Lion Server, you could use the Mountain Lion Server.app on your MacBook along with the Mountain Lion version of Workgroup Manager (there is no Mountain Lion Server Admin).
In your case the best solution will be to use Screen Sharing on the Snow Leopard Server, then you can use your MacBook to remote control the Server and run the tools on the server itself.

Any thoughts as to why iWeb software is not updated any more

I'm wondering why apple is not updating iWeb software any more. Does anyone think they will continue to support it? Doesn't make sense to me that they have abandoned it. With as much as we all use the web, you would think that Apple would want to have the best software out there for us to use with our iMacs,iPhones, and iPads. I can imagine iWeb software out there that would take our web sites built with state of the art web software that would format the sites we build to work and look the best on all the devices apple makes. Seems to me they are making a big mistake. what are your thoughts about why the have pretty much abandoned iWeb. I don't have a clue. Also seems like they are throwing a lot of people under the buss.

It is now is apparent that iWeb, and iDVD, will no longer be supported by Apple since new Macs are shipping with iLife 11 installed but without iWeb and iDVD. iWeb will still continue to work but without the following:
Features Unavailable When Publishing to a Non-Mac Server:

◼ Blog and photo comments
◼ Blog search
◼ Hit counter
◼ RSS Feed Widget
All of these issues can be replaced with 3rd party optionsl There's another problem and that's with iWeb's popup slideshows. Once the MMe servers are no longer online the popup slideshow buttons will not display their images.

However, Roddy McKay and myself have figured out a way to modify existing sites with those slideshows and iWeb itself so that those images will display as expected once MobileMe servers are gone. After Win 8.1 update - Lenovo System Update defective (doesn't find updates any more)

Lenovo System Update tells me that all is up to date!
I searched at Lenovo for new drivers for windows 8.1
They asked me exactly what notebook I use. For the x1 carbone 3460-4LG (checked 3 times because I couldn't believe it) they discribed my computer as:
i7-3667U(3.2GHz), 4GB RAM, 256GB Solid State Drive, 14in 1600x900 LCD, Intel HD Graphics, Intel 802.11agn wireless, WWAN, 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, Secure Chip, 4c Li-Ion, Win8 Pro 64.
My notebook has 8GB RAM, 180GB SSD and (as I believe) no carbone x1 has 1GB Ethernet, because it has no network connector at all!
So first question: can I believe the suggestions of lenovo for new drivers?
There are several drivers released in October 2013 that I surely do not have already installed.
That means, Lenovo System Update doesn't work any more, without error message!
Question two: Has Lenovo a solution to repair their defective updater? Or will they release a solution?

Another Workaroung wich could help is the Tool DriverEasy. It does scan yours system and shows you all missing Driver. The missing driver can be downloaded or directly installed.
For me it found every missing Driver on different Lenovo Modells. The only thing to use it as Full Service, is you have to buy it for i think about 30 $.

Why the drag and drop of clips from events browser to project browser isn't working any more

My iMovie was working fine, but suddenly I'm not able any more to drag and drop select parts of a clip from event browser to the project browser. I read other people got this issue. Is there a solution? Thanks a lot

I had the same problem. Fixed it by repairing disk permissions with disk utility.

Invitees isn't working any more!!!! The server responded with an error.

When ever I try to invite someone to an event on my iCal it keeps popping this up!?

It sounds like you updated iTunes and now it will not open. Try the steps outlined in the following article. You may need to re install iTunes but your library will remain intact if you do.

External display suddenly isn't working any more

Hello,
I have a MBP 13 (mid 2010) running OSX 10.8.4 conected with a Dell 1707fpt via DVI cable.
Everything worked fine without any problems until this morning and usually I have the MBP closed with an attached mouse and keyboard.
Since this morning the monitor no longer works on MBP. I therefore once connected my MBP to the DVI adapter and cable to another monitor (Samsung...) and it works. I also conected the Dell screen via DVI cable to another PC. It works as well.
Only the combination of my MBP and the Dell does not work! I put the adapter in the MBP and the MBP is just blue for a second and the internal monitor is functioning normally than. Unfortunately the Dell never wakes from sleep. I can only see the orange light (normal is green). Is there any solution? I've done PRAM and SMC reset.
Apparently all of the hardware works independently, only not together.
Oh and the monitor if it is connected does not appear on the MPB under "Monitors" ...
I was looking in some other communities and it seems that I'm not the only one with this problem, but no solutions found yet.
Do you have an idea how to fix this?

The first time I select edit in CS2 Photoshop launches fine and the image is transferred. If I attempt to edit a second image Lightroom hangs indefinitely on "Preparing the file for edit". Lightroom is dead at this point. Any attempted operation, including canceling the edit, just adds to the hanging stack. The only out I have found so far is to exit Lightroom, tell it to abandon all uncompleted tasks, and then restart it. At that point it will again work correctly to edit one image. It is the editing that causes the hanging, other functions performed after an edit do not (e.g. working in the develop module on a second image).
Lightroom 1.1 did not have this problem. The images I was working on were imported into Lightroom after I updated to 1.2. I am working under XP Pro and off of an internal (vs external) hard drive.

"Edit with Photoshop" isn't working any more

Guys, when I right-click an image and choose "Edit with Photoshop CS3" (edit Lightroom copy), it will create a copy but will not launch Photoshop. This creates a problem because other than exporting the file there is now no way of editing outside Lightroom.
How do I get this functionallity back?
(I think it started doing this when I applied the 1.1 patch...)
