Graveman: not working & missing icons [SOLVED]

I upgraded to the latest Graveman (3.11) off the Arch repositories last night and am now missing most of the icons you usually see within the program. The application no longer works, and the xsession-errors file is showing a multitude of errors about missing graveman icons.
Anyone else getting this?
PS: I tried removing and reinstalling a few times, but still no worky-worky. The previous version worked fine.

Yeah, I've already tried reinstalling libmng and graveman several times after a sync refresh but no luck. Thanks for the suggestion, though.
Yeah, miqorz - I like Gnomebaker, too. I switch back and forth between it and Graveman.
BTW: I've also tried totally removing graveman 3.10 along with config files, then installing version 3.11 but get the same results.

No icon? Perhaps the icon was accidentally moved to another screen.
Tap Settings / General / Reset / Reset Home Screen Layout
See if that brings it back.

If necessary, unstall the app, and reinstall it.

Radios not working: Missing MEID and Baseband version after battery swap

Upon booting up after swapping batteries last week, I noticed that I wasn't getting any service (voice, 3G, 4G, etc.). I have seen this issue in the past, but it always fixes itself after a reboot. Not this time however.
I have rebooted, battery pulled, and even factory reset with no luck. Radios are still not working. I noticed in the settings> about phone> baseband version says unknown, and when dialing *#06#, the MEID is blank.
Phone is running stock 4.1.1, not rooted. Any ideas? Is it possible my radios were corrupted randomly, or maybe a hardware failure? If it's a software issue, how do I go about fixing it? Please help!

Unfortunately, this sounds like a case of the bad hardware blues, jsw5050.
In that case, if there is still warranty on the phone, I recommend getting a replacement.
We need to make sure there is no physical or liquid damage (including corrosion in or around the charging port) in order for it to be replaced under warranty.

what is the serial number? Phones bought in some Arab countries hav facetime disabled because of government regulations. Is facetime enabled in settings/facetime and settings/general/restrictions?

GTK burning application (graveman not working insinde)

I'm in troubles with graveman for past few months, so I searched for a replacing application. It must burn CD/DVD and have a GTK frontend (not gnome-dependant). A graveman working ^^ (all my burns fail at the end, CD or DVD)

I was having the same problem with graveman, never really investigated. You could try xfburn-svn, I'm not sure how far along it is at this moment though.

Loaded 7.3-does not work-restored system-does not work-missing files?

I downloaded 7.3 and got a message that it could not upgrade the version of IPOD software found on cpu. Please uninstall and try again. Did that. Also removed all Itunes and Ipod software versions. Still got message. Decided to restore computer to before the 7.3 download. Now get error message that ITunes cannot run because files are missing. Doesn't say which ones. Any idea on how to restore old version?

My workflow is to basically backup my negative collection by scanning at the highest resolution possible and save them at full bit depth as Tiffs on offline storage. I then duplicate all the files as large JPGs and store them on my local machine. These are then all duplicated again and down sampled to 1024*768 to be synced with the iPad. After 2 1/2 years and a 16 page file documenting all the bugs, I finally got the small files to sync with an iPad 4. After all is said and done, it only took about 7GB to sync 50K Jpgs but did end up with a 20GB "Other" file that no one from Apple can explain. I have been seeing these "Other" files for a while and think they are some sort of memory corruption and the only way to get rid of it is to restore the ipad.
Bottom line, iTunes for Windows is terrible, very buggy, and unsupported by Apple. They can only help you trouble shoot restarting problems but there is no escalalation path for things that don't work. iTunes basically has a lot of trouble with samll number of large files and even a large number of small files.
I have been using Lighroom to convert the Tiffs to JPGs but ran into a problem that Adobe engineers didn't know about. Lightroom will only support a maximum of 512 mega pixels and won't load any files over this size. It appears it may load them as PSDs but not as Tiffs. Problem is Lightroom won't give any error message for files it won't load so there is no way to trouble shoot it.
What does work flawlessly is using Photoshop/Scripts/Image Processor.
In protest of Apples apathy I took every IOS device I ever purchased back to the Apple store and challenged them to either make them work or refund them. They gave a full refund for every device I erver purchased including $299 for the original touch which came out to about $3500. I even sent a letter to Tim Cook ([email protected]) but he didn't care either.

i copied a JMS-CC from an Business-System to a BusinessService, deaktivated the old JMS-Channel and would like to run XI via the BusinessService. I configured all the rest (receiver Det. and so on...) but i don't know why this error is arising in Adapter-Monitoring:
Minimum address data not configured. Field InterfaceNamespace is empty.

Ok guys, i solved on my own.
Well my Scenario was like i am getting Data from a MQSeries-Machine, so the JMS-Adapter is configured as Sender.
Related on the SAP-Docu i found out that:
Special Conditions when Using the Sender JMS, JDBC, or File/FTP Adapter
In the case of these adapter types, the information about address fields of the message header is determined from the sender agreement that the communication channel is assigned to. The following conditions apply to sender agreements that use communication channels with these adapter types.
● The sender channel must not be assigned to more than one sender agreement.
● No key fields may contain the wildcard character (*).
● At least the interface (name and namespace) and the sender service must be specified in the sender agreement because the corresponding address fields in the message must be set uniquely. The remaining fields are optional (see the key fields for the sender agreement).
The sender agreement is determined from the sender channel at runtime. The information from the sender agreement is used to construct the address header of the message.
So everything worked fine after adding a sender agreement!!

Menu bar not working? icons broken/flashing in and out

My menu bar icons aren't working... airport showing disconnected, all are unselectable. not able to change volume...
the icons are flashing in and out too
any one have any ideas? I tried creating another user, same problem....

Mine isn't working either.
No Volume icon. When I try to turn it on in Sound Prefs, I click the checkbox but it won't check off.
No Clock. When I turn it on in Date & Time Prefs, it doesn't stay checked off, and it also doesn't show up in the menu bar.
No Airport Status Indicator.
No Battery Life Indicator.

CTRL_ALT-BAckspace not working in KDE4 [SOLVED]

Hi,
I use KDE4 (not modded) and have noticed recently that CTRL-ALT-Backspace won't work. I use it infrequently to jump to terminal mode so I'm not sure when this started. Is there a setting somewhere for KDE4 or KDM that I can alter or is this an issue with X???

Upgrade to JRE 1.5.0.06 SDK AppletViewer Not Working & Missing

HELP!!
I recently updated my JRE to 1.5.0.06 and since installation, I cannot execute any JAVA Applets - I cannot even verify the installation. In the /bin directory I notice that the appletviewer.exe is missing.
When the applet loads, all i see is the java logo. Closing the "General Exception" dialog gives me the little red X and a message in the status bar that says "Applet <applet name> notinited".
I have uninstalled and reinstalled a few times to no avail! Any clues - classpath?, etc, anything will help right now!

This is because not every applet is embedded with an applet tag. The IE setting was used to switch between MSJVM and SUN Java Plugin for applet tags.
(Lot of pages use the object tag as recommended by w3c.)

PS/Bridge CS5 Batch Processor Not Working / Missing Scripts

I'm having a bit of a problem within Photoshop/Bridge CS5 and haven't found anything that works to resolve it.
In Bridge, I want to launch the Photoshop Batch Processor via Tools>Photoshop>Batch.
When I select this, Photoshop launches, but the dialog to process the images never shows. On occasion, if I return to Bridge and attempt the same operation again, I'll get a notification that there's already something in progress and asks if I want to queue this operation. The other times (majority) I can return to Bridge and attempt the operation again but get no dialogues in Photoshop. I can try the other options in this menu as well (eg Image Processor, etc) and get the same results.
Here's what I've done so far:
1. Checked Bridge Edit>Preferences>Startup Scripts and ensured those were all checked. I even disabled all, closed Bridge and Photoshop, then re-enabled.
2. Cleared all Preferences from Bridge and Photoshop (using Ctrl+Shift+Alt at launch).
3. Reinstalled Photoshop (multiple times)
4. Uninstalled Photoshop, ran the Adobe CS Cleaner application, then reinstalled Photoshop.
It should be noted that in Bridge>Edit>Preferences and Startup Scripts, if I click the button to 'Reveal my scripts' the folder it takes me to is blank. Not sure if this folder is solely used for personal/user created scripts or for others as well, but it's completely empty.
I have also gone to Help>Updates and updated both applications with any necessary updates from Adobe.
If I go into Photoshop and select File>Automate>Batch or even File>Scripts>Image Processor, both dialogues open fine.
Running Windows 8.1 Pro.
Anyone else seen this and actually resolve the issue? Does anyone know where the scripts are supposed to be located and/or if I can get them from somewhere else? Any help is much appreciated

Make sure Photoshop is not started and then try to use Bridge menu Tools>Photoshop>Batch does Photoshop start up?

I do not know or understand Bridge scripting and do not know javsscript but what I see there seems to be some checking done about Photoshop being available and if it is not the script just returns which is what you seem to be experiencing the test looks like this

Export to Pdf Not Working - Blank Pages [Solved]

Peace all!
I've been having this problem about some time now. Any export to pdf produces a pdf with the correct number of pages but they are all blank! Tried fiddling with the options to no avail. Also tried setting the options to use openoffice dialogs.
In an attempt to try to find some log of errors, I started writer from the console with soffice -writer and used the export pdf function but no errors are spitted out. I'm stumped...

Ok, I managed to solve this by deleting the old .openoffice config folder and starting afresh. Not sure what's messed up though but the folder has been used since OO version 2.

Finder not working/No icons on Desktop

Hi everyone,
I opened up my MacBook today, and my desktop was completely empty, all my icons, including hard drive are gone.
Also, if i try clicking the Finder icon on the Dock, nothing happens, it doesn't open a window... All other applications seem to be working and I can access them from the dock. The machine seems to be working slower than usual though, freezing up for a few seconds every 10 seconds or so. The fan is also working really hard for no specific reason... Does anyone have an idea about what's wrong? Any help will be much appreciated.

Have you restarted the computer?
Do you have your install discs?
Try booting in Safe Mode by holding the Shift key while booting. This could take about 5 minutes, so be patient and hold the key until you see the login window!

Dynadock video drive not working - missing displayLinkCore.msi

I've just installed my new dynadock with my laptop. OS windows 7 64 bit.
The video drive however doesn't seem to install properly and I now just get a message saying that it can't find the predefined path to install the displaylinkCore.msi software.
I have full administration rights and even tried to run this as administrator. I have also made sure I have all the latest drivers installed. Nothing seems to work.
Any suggestions?
Pretty annoyed that I can't use my second screen, one of the reasons I bought the dynadock.

Verify that you have access to this location and try again, or try to find the installation package 'DisplayLinkCore.msi in a folder from which you can install the product DisplayLinkCore Software.
As I have pointed out, I have full administration rights to my laptop, so it's not the access. I'm unable to find the DisplayLinkCore.msi installation package, so I am assuming it is not on my laptop.
Any idea on how I can rectify this please?
