GRC 10.1 to Portal integration steps review

Dear All
Could you let me know the below points for integrating the Portal with GRC 10.1 is correct?
a. GRC Portal Plug-in is deployed on Portal
b. Check if you can find the Web Service in WS Navigator on your Portal
c. Go to "Maintain Configuration Settings“
Parameter 1022 and 1046 to be added for your portal connector
d. create SM59 connection to point to portal.
e. maintain connectors & connection types for portal.
f. maintain connection settings for portal.
g. maintain mapping for actions & connection groups.
h. run sync program - GRAC_SCHEMA_UPDATE
i. run rep obj sync.
j. run auth sync.
k. check table GRACUSER & GRACCRLCONN.
After doing the above my requirement is as below:
a. Create Access request to provision users in Portal system using ARM.
b. Enable GRC ARA & ARM links to show up in Portal screen (not NWBC) so that portal users can run risks analysis & raise access requests from portal than going into GRC NWBC screen.
let me know if i have missed any steps specific portal integration.
Raju

Hi Neeraj,
Thx for your reaction. This unfortunately will not do the job as pasting the URL in the notification template will make it static. The problem is that the URL inserted by default is a dynamically created one which holds a variable pointer to a workflow object id.
Now i am researching if a custom build portal redirect application will do the job. But there must be others having the same problem if you want the GRC iview in the portal to be the 'one-stop-shop' for your GRC users...
Cheers,
Jim

  • BusinessObjects Portal Integration - iView Template Missing

    Hello
I have installed my BusinessObjects for Portal as follows:
    1. We already have BI 7.0 on SQL 2005 on BIDEMOSER SERVER.
    2. Installed BusinessObjects Enterprise 3.1 , Crystal Reports 2008, SAP GUI 7.1 and SAP Integration Kit on this new server name : BODEMOSER.
    3. We already have EP 7.0 on Oracle 10.2 on EPDEMOSER SERVER.
I have installed the BOE 3.1 and Integrated with the BI Server and imported the roles and all the functions are working fine between BO and BI.For Portal Integration i have transferred the masterview file from BODEMO SERVER com.businessobjects.pct.masteriview.par to the EPDEMOSER SERVER.
And it was uploaded in the EPDEMOSER SERVER System Administration--> Support --> uploaded successfully. And I have followed the SSO configuration as per te guide. And values in the Web.xml files are properly as per the guide.
After the uploading the masterview par file i could not able to view the iView template in the System.I have cleaned the cookes and all temp files.
As per the guide I have created an folde name BI_BO and SYstem name as BI_BO_DEMO.Now when I started creating a iView Template by right clicking the System name BI_BO_DEMO and provided the following parameters for each Property Category.
    CRYSTAL Enterprise server:

    2. Check the connection to the backend application using the connector defined in this system object
      Results
    Retrieval of default alias successful
Connection failed. Make sure that Single Sign-On is configured correctly
Whether i should install the BO Integration kit in EP portal also or any Portal Inetgration kit is available.
    Regards
    Bala

    Hi,
    1. Whether Integration kit for SAP should be installed in EP Server also ( which has been installed in BO server for BI and the SSO for BI and EP STRUSTSSO2 also works fine.
    - the portal is acting as the frontend for viewing content and yes there needs to be trust between your portal and your BW system
    2. the connector parameter and the iview template object parameter as correct as per the distributed enviorment.
When i checked with portal; admin they asked doubt what should be crystal enterprise server ( BO) and the what is the server should connector parameter should have.
    - the Crystal Enterprise parameter do not influence the connector properties and do not lead to the point that the connector settings fail. the Crystal Enterprise parameters are only relevant when viewing SAP BusinessObjects related content.
Make sure you connector settings work even without the Crystal Enterprise parameters first.

  • Portal integration with E-Business and Discoverer 10g

    Hello Everyone,
We have a R12 integrated with SSO/OID. We also have a standalone Oracle BI Discoverer 10g. We want to implement Oracle Portal here. One of the requirements of this project is to have a common home page for both E-Business Suite login as well Discoverer access. Right now E-Business Suite login is seperate and Discoverer home page is seperate (because it comes from a Standalone installation)
    1) What are the benefits of having AS Portal 10g for end users ?
    2) To begin with, we would like to go with the minimum portlets.
    3) Is it possible to have a common home page for both E-Biz access and the Discoverer acess after Portal integration ?
    4) Do you have some screenshots of how things look after Portal integration
    -Thanks
    Srinivas

    Hi,
    take a look in metalink Note:313418.1. :
"Using Discoverer 10.1.2 with Oracle E-Business Suite 11i"
Look in section 6 - post installation.
Follow the steps and have a very good luck.

  • BO Portal Integration for SSO

    Hi
We are currently doing the BO Portal Integration
We are using BO 3.1 and Portal 7.01 and the Integration Kit is 3.1
We want to integrate Portal with BO
I am following the following link for integration
    http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/BOBJ/CreateBOEXI3.1IntegrationKitiViewTemplateintoSAPEP+Portal
In that step 19 they have mentioned the details of Connector during System creation
We are not using SAP BI, the BO gets its data from rapidmart and BO users are created on Windows Active Directory.
So when the users are being created on windows AD how do we populate the values in the Connector of the System Creation
    beacuase the step 19 says
From the Property Category list select Connector. Your selections determine the SAP ABAP system that will be validating the users. This is the system that you have defined previously as an entitlement system in CMC. Configure the values for Application Host, Gateway Host, Gateway Service, SAP client, SAP System ID (SID) and SAP System Number according to the SAP system.
Can someone please let me know regarding this and how we do the SSO between Portal and BO
As our user validation is not SAP ABAP system but Windows AD
    Regards
    Janak Mehta

    Hello Johannes,
Could you please help to display BO reports in Portal.
please look into thread crated for the same.

  • SAP Portal Integration with InfoView

    Hi Experts,
I have successfully configured SAP Portal Integration with InfoView using the following steps provided by Ingo:
    - set the system that you want to be authenticated against as the DEFAULT system in the options of the SAP authentication.
    - go to the webapps folder of your app server and navigate to the InfOView folder
For the Java version of InfoView (Windows environment) you need to edit the file web.xml, which is located (assuming Tomcat as application server) in the directory \Program Files\Business Objects\Tomcat55\webapps\InfoViewApp\WEB-INF for the actual deployment.
In addition you can make the change to the file in the folder <INSTALLDIR>\BusinessObjects Enterprise12.0\warfiles\WebApps\InfoViewApp\WEB-INF. The files in the second locations are being used when you redeploy the web applications with a tool like wdeploy. You need to change the following values
    authentication.default = secSAPR3
    siteminder.enabled = False
    sso.enabled = True
Then I have created URLiView to InfoView login page, when the user click on the link, BOBJ will use the DEFAULT system to authenticate user.
However, there is a new requirement for users who exist in another SAP system to SSO into InfoView too. My question is whether we can specify in URLiView url or other configuration to select which SAP System to authenticate user on?
I would like to create Role A and Role B in Portal and each will display different URLiView that will authenticate user against different SAP System if possible.
    Appreciate your advise.
    Regards,
    Medy

    Hi Ingo,
    Thank you for your reply.
We are trying to create an URLiView to the logon page of InfoView: http://<BOBJ Server>/InfoViewApp/logon.jsp that will bring the user to InfoView home if SSO passed instead of OpenDocument URL.
I have tried to add URL parameters to the URLiView (http://<BOBJ Server>//InfoViewApp/logon.jsp?SAP_SYSID=DCD&SAP_CLIENT=200), but InfoView is still using the default system in CMC to authenticate user.
    Please advise.
    Best Regards,

  • Portal integration with Exchange SSO issue

    Hello,
We are using NW04s EP 7.0 SP16 and Exchange server 2003. We are trying to perform OWA and Groupware integration. Both the servers are in the same domain. The latest Kerbmap filter is configured in the Exchange back end server. Everything works fine when we do User Mapping.
The SSO for Outlook Web Access works fine when pointed to the exchange back end server directly.
The SSO for groupware functionality such as appointments doesn't work. The error message is "No logon data found for system Exchange". The Exchange system is configured for SAPlogontickets and so i don't understand why its looking for user mapping.
Anyone faced a similar problem? does anyone made this to work using SSO?
    Thanks,
    ~Yasin

    hi Mannings,
there will be a new business package for SEM which will be relased and will be based on Web Dynpro. They will create views for integrating BPS, BSC etc for you by default and with the Portal Look and Feel too. But you might have to wait a while for that. AS for SSO - SSO tickets are absolutely supported and fine.
Currently you can use BSP iviews to integrate SEM BSP applications into the portal.
For Integrating BW in portal, the steps you have mentined are for information boradcasting from BW. A very simple way would be to create BW reports based iviews and just supply the query string for the bw report to be integrated. For transactions and other areas you can use the internal ITS provided with 640.

  • Portal Integration with SEM

    Dear Friends,
I have a requirement of integrating SEM with Portal EP 6.0 SP 12.
I was going thru SDN for any business packages but only found one (50.2) which is out of maintenance.
What are the ways to integrate SEM into the portal ? All its sub modules like BPS,BCS etc ( Balanced Scorecard, dashboard etc )
I want to use SSO using tickets as much as possible.
Also is the procedure for integration of BW with portal the same as that of R3 with Portal or should I refer to the 13 points in SAP Help e.g. :
Create an RFC destination in the J2EE-Engine in SAP EP 6.0
Create an RFC destination for SAP EP 6.0 in SAP BW
    etc.
    Greatly appreciate your answers.
    Thanks.

  • GRC AC v5.3 CUP "User Access Reviews" (UAR) requires implementation of ERM?

    Hi Experts,
re: GRC AC v5.3 CUP "User Access Reviews" (UAR) requires implementation of ERM?
After reading the guides and forum it is still not clear to me if ERM is absolutely required in order to use CUP "User Access Reviews". The guide mentions in ERM the Role Usage Synch job has to be run, and then that data is to be loaded into CUP. Is this step absolutely required or can we skip it.

    Gary,
ERM is a necessity if you want to fully use UAR in CUP. I don't know why SAP did it this way but it is how it is.

    Hi!
I am about to integrate SAP BI into SAP EP 7.0.
All the necessary steps with the program "RSPOR_SETUP" I already executed.
Unfortunately when I try to execute a Query on Portal I get the following error:

    hi Thom,
Make sure that you have already installed the BI 7.0 web templates as per the oss note 990321.
If not, install the BI 7.0 web templates according the note. BI 7.0 templates are :
    0ANALYSIS_PATTERN

  • CRM 2007 _ Portal Integration

    Hi all,
I have installed and configured CRM 2007 with Portal  7.0 as described in IMG.But still i am getting an error in some portal iviews "CRM and Portal RFC Destination has not been configured  Correctly".
Does anybody have any steps for Configuring CRM 2007 and Portal Integration or any Url.
    Thanks
    Harini

    Muralidhar,
I browsed through the notes and i couldnt find any relevant information on EP 7.0 and CRM 2007. I have configured portal (Ep 7.0) with CRM 5.0, BI 7.0, ECC 6.0 and SRM 5.0. Problem i am facing is only specific to CRM 2007 and Portal Integration not an general Portal Problem.
    Thanks for the info.

  • Donwload Test Plan does not work in GRC PC 3.0 Portal

    Hello Experts,
We have GRC PC 3.0 SP3 ABAP and JAVA standalone systems. Configured ADS configuration and all the ADS related checks "FP_TEST_00" and others working fine, even are able to see the print version of documents from portal.
Trying to download the test plans, but its giving error "The PDF was not generated correctly".
These test plans are in the tester inbox, and we are trying to download these test plans so tester can complete these tests offline and then upload to GRC PC system once completed.
    Appreciate your inputs on this.
    Thanks
    Davinder

    Thanks Gangadhar for your inputs.
We have installed BI JAVA and ADS checks are working fine from both backend as well as from portal - even we can display and print the pdf files from portal.
Problem is coming for the feature of Offline Test Plans in GRC PC 3.0 portal - for this we need to download Test Plans , tester will complete these test plans and then upload the same back to GRC PC system. GRC PC system will upload the data entered in the completed Test plan.
So when we are trying to download the test plan, we are getting error "The PDF object was not generated correctly".
I am not sure is there any extra configuration steps required for this. Appreciate any pointers on this.

  • E-Recruit portal integration

    Hi,
Please let me know that what are steps need to configure for E-Recruitment portal integration.
    Thanks,
    HCM

What version are you planning to implement ?
There are a lot of options to run e-recruitment and the dependency on the portal differs based on the versions.
Starting from EHP4, portal is mandatory for using E-Recruitment.
So, if you can explain your requirement a little bit more in detail - you can anticipate some better replies.

  • BSP Exception: Access to URL /irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.ip.bi.web.portal.integration.launcher;jsessionid= not allowed

    Dear all,
I've created out BI system in our new Portal installation and tested the connection. Everything works fine. I added the certificate of the portal to STRUSTSSO2 in BI ABAP and assigned SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW to my Account.in BI. If I open the iView from the portal I get a BSP Exception with the message:
The used connection by the iView is to the ABAP-Stack of the BI-system not to the JAVA-Stack. Is that correct?
BSP Exception: Der Zugriff auf die URL /irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.ip.bi.web.portal.integration.launcher;jsessionid=IDBYatWIpt_pX4uc52ChoZqMWkm1RAFW2qsA_SAP ist untersagt.
    What can be the problem/reason?
    Thanks!

    Hi Gerrit
In both places you have to provide a authorization access to the end users then only it will work. because your are already said that in SAP_All & SAP_New working fine
Back end BI system access as per the word document as pasted the link
    https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=7&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CFIQFjAG&url=http%3A%2F%2Fbasisdsp.f…
For SAP portal you have to create iview's assign the same to end user
Assigning an Authentication Scheme to an iView - User Authentication and Single Sign-On - SAP Library
Portal Authentication Infrastructure - Configuring the Portal for Initial Use - SAP Library
