GRC 10 - Job Sync Legacy System large files

When I run the job GRAC_REPOSITORY_OBJECT_SYNC sync with the files from the legacy system, the file "USER_PERMISSION.txt" is about the size of 231 MB, and this happening to this job sincornismo canceled, the error "TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED", the basis verified the memory allocated.
We check the SAP note "1593704 - legacy file upload issue for large files" is already applied in SP05.
Server: SAP GRC AC v10:
[Config My System|http://www.2shared.com/file/rhXVfRcX/My_system.html]
Could you help me with some information to have solved the problem.
grateful
Inacio

Hello Inacio,
I know that this is a very old post, but have you managed to solve this issue?
I've found this note, that is included in SP10
Note 1741277 - Repository Role sync ends with TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED
Have you changed memory parameters in order to solve it?
Thanks!
Diego.

  • "Unable to sync" when uploading large files to Creative Cloud

    Hi,
I recently tried to upload some large files (1.1 GB, 2 GB) to my Creative Cloud. After completing the upload after nine hours I got the error message "unable to sync".
    Any suggestions?

I'm having the same issue. I removed the offending big files. I turned sync on and off, but it's still unable to sync. Any thoughts?

  • Date migration from Legacy system (excel file) to CRM 7.0

    Hi,
Can any one guide me on the below:
I am provided with excel files having prospect data with 63 fields and most of them are not the part of standard fields available.
The requirement is to create the same data in CRM. I am unable to use ELM as most of the fields are not available. I suppose i need to get the fields created by technical team. However need some knowledge sharing on this. I think even BAPI approach would need fields to be created first.
Should i revert back to the client asking for detailed information on the tabs or sections under which the missing fileds have to be created?
Also guide me with alternate solution to map the data from legacy to CRM
Please mark your solution on this
    thanks

    Agarwal,
In your situation you need to have the additional attributes created in CRM, before you can do an upload.  Now if the new attributes are marketing attributes for the business partner, you can use ELM.  Otherwise if you still want to do ELM then you need to use the BADI.
Your other option is use XIF adapter with LSMW to perform the upload, but the custom fields must appear in the bdoc structure on the CRM for them to appear.  Normally this won't be a problem if the CRM system has been extended via EEWB or AET.
    Take care,
    Stephen

  • GRC 10 - Risk Analysis in legacy system

    Hi everybody,
I have a problem with legacy connectors in GRC 10. I implemented the note 1594963. So, I created the legacy files and storage it in GRC server.
When I run the user synch, the legacy connector only synch the first record.
Someone can help me? Someone did implement a risk analysis for legacy systems?
    Regards,

    Hi  Claudio Ekel
Can you share some inputs on the Legacy Risk Analysis.
We have configured the Legacy Connector as per the note 1594963 ; Placed the files on the server & tried running Synchronization Jobs. But the data is not getting uploaded to GRC10 .
We made sure that text files are in UTF-8 format
Is it mandatory to load all the 11 files that are provided in the note 1594963? We have excluded the Profile related files
Can you share a sample of Legacy file formats that you have used for the sync.
Can you throw some light on what could be the possible issues for data not getting uplaoded to GRC10?

  • Create Back ground job for data recieved from a legacy system

    Hi All,
I have a requirement where i need to schedule a back ground job once a proxy is triggered for the address data sent from a Legacy system. This proxy is triggerred from SAP PI, then i need to create a job shedule where address data is created as BP's(Business Partners) and assigned to a already created Target Group. Then once the Target group is completed with all BP needs to assigned to aCampaign Id. As the data is large it takes lot of time to execute. Please Advice.
    Regards,
    Nagesh Thanneeru

    Hi
If you can divide the data into two internal tables and later collect into the one internal table, this could solve yuor problem.
Also you need to make sure that enough memory is available in the system. Check DB6cockpit for that.
Also there are a lot of correction notes available with SAP for the error"TSV_TNEW_BLOCKS_NO_ROLL_MEMORY"
Check what the job exactly does, and search for the relevant notes, as there are different notes for different application areas...
if its a loading job(Infopackage) you can reduce the data packet size of the IP, but that might hamper the loading performance.
    Hope this helps
    Regards
    Shilpa

  • What is the diff b/w flat file and legacy system?

    Hi everyone,
when v say v r working on scenario FILE to FILE? which format of file r v usually working on? and what is the diff b/w flat file and legacy system?
    thanx

    Hi,
<i>when v say v r working on scenario FILE to FILE? which format of file r v usually working on?</i>
    >>>Many a times it will be a Flat file with CSV format,Tab delimited format, fixedlength fields.
<i>what is the diff b/w flat file and legacy system?</i>
    >>>We can not differeniate like this..
Flat file may come from any systems, it may be live system or legacy system.
Legacy system- is something like old, or past one. If you talk about SAP , then older versions of SAP can be  called as a legacy system.
So it may be a file system, or any system which is old version but it doesnot mean it is not in use,

  • ITunes hangs when syncing large files to network attached drives, ideas?

I've done a lot of research on my problem and have come up blank so far. This is my setup and situation. I use a macbook pro and iTunes 10, but since I use a small SSD, I do not have much room to keep iTunes media on my disk. So, I use an external USB drive, formatted HFS+ J, accessible over my AirPort Extreme as a networked drive and am trying to keep my media there by setting my iTunes Media folder location to my "/Volumes/<drive name>/iTunes/iTunes Media" under iTunes>Preferences>Advanced. For the most part this works, but there are a few gotchas that are making this setup unusable.
The biggest problem is if I try to sync a large file (for example a 250MB app) with iTunes to my networked storage, the culprit almost always being a large iOS app in Mobile Application folder, iTunes will hang with the spinning color wheel, and in the toolbar shows "Not Responding". This also hangs the Finder. After this situation, I pretty much have to force quit everything and reboot my machine to get the Finder and iTunes back to health.
So, I thought that I would try keeping the iOS apps on my local drive and just move my music out to a network drive. But iTunes doesn't allow any granular configuration of the sort (big FAIL on Apple's part), and I've read up that iTunes does not play nice with symbolic links or else I would keep the iTunes Media location set to my local drive and symlink the Music folder out to my network drive.
So, given that 1) I don't have enough space to keep everything local, 2) trying to keep everything on NAS causes my machine to fail when syncing my iPhone or trying to consolidate my iTunes library because of large file transfers over the network making thing go insane, and 3) iTunes doesn't easily let you manage your library with symlinks, any ideas on what I should do?

i assume you are connecting wirelessly to the AEBS, correct ?
as a test, run an ethernet cable from your Mac to one of the LAN ports of the AEBS (you might want to turn off airport on your machine), then try again.
    does the problem persist ?

  • R/3 - (RFC) - XI - (File) - Legacy System

    Hello there,
I followed a document to setup SAP XI to/from external systems.
I did a setup that execute bapi QIRF_SEND_CATALOG_DATA from R/3.  Then, it uses RFC to transfer data to XI, and store as a file @ Legacy system.
When I executed the BAPI with the RFC destination as created on R3, it failed.
Besides, when I check the message monitoring at XI Runtime Benchmark, it shows an error as :
         ErrorCode:ICF-NF-http-...  HTTP 403 Forbidden.
I believe I activated ICF engine service.
My question is "do I have setup Single Sign-on" for XI or is that optional?
I followed the instruction call "How to Configure SAP XI to use the standard SAP communication APIs (idoc, bapi, rfc) from external systems".
      Any comment is appreciated.
      Thank you very much.

Again, I follows an scenario to execute an bapi at R3 using RFC to IS, then put as a file at Legacy system.
On R3, I did some setups:
        - created an RFC type TCP/IP with gateway hostname and id pointing to R3, and a reg Prog ID named CC_RFC2XI.
        - call Trans: SXMB_ADM to setup Intg. Eng. Config with the role as Appl System & Intg Server point to http://<host>:<port>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry
      On the Intg Dir:
        - created comm. channel from R3 as SAP_2_EXT_RFC as sender with the hostname as R3 host and gateways, and also Prog ID named CC_RFC2XI.
        - created comm. channel for Legacy system as SAP_2_EXT_FILE to stored file as .txt file at legacy system.
        - created Reciever Determination with condition as BAPI execution condition
        - created Interface Determination for interbound interface.
        - created Sender Agreement.
        - created Receiver Agreement.
      - I activated /sap/xi/engine from Trans SICF and also insert user login and password.
I tested the connection for SM59 from R3 and it's ok.  However, after execute the BAPI with the destination RFC as created, I got the error message above.
Please tell me what else I am supposed to do.
Again, I really thank you so much for all your time and help.

  • Background job requirement  in Systems like GRC

    Hi All,
We will like to know periodic background job requirements in systems like GRC. May be rough volume of these jobs (defination) will help.
Do these systems have process chains like BI and APO systems.
Also do these systems have some interfaces with ECC / R/3 systems to transfer the data. (for e.g. in APO we have CIF interface)
Thanks a lot for all your help.
    Best Regards,
    Vithal

    Hi all,
I think I have some commun issues with Vithalprasad about scheduling GRC Control Access background jobs (especially the FireFighter jobs) with an external scheduler (we are also using SAP CPS).
I have to specify that for now we are using the internal job scheduler of GRC to schedule both ABAP and Java jobs which are dependant the one from the others.
But we would like to schedule all of them in SAP CPS: it is possible for the ABAP programs, but not (?) for the Java jobs (we have not any NetWeaver Java Scheduler, since we have the 7.0 version of NetWeaver).
Please feel free to ask me precisions.
Have anyone an idea about the way to make this work ?
    Thanks for your help,

  • Handling a very larger file from Sender system

    Hi Sdn,
Can you please tell me, what should be done from an SAP+XI side to handle a very large file coming from the sender system to be posted to the receiver? What should be done in XI end so that there is no problem in handling the larger file.

  • How to clean large system log files?

I believe that OS X saves a lot of system data in log files that become very large.
I would like to clear old history logs.
How may I view and clean system log files?

    Thank you Niel.
I have obtained the list at /private/var/log.
There are a lot of files in there.
Since I am not familiar with functions of these files should I be concerned that by simply deleting all of the files in folder /private/var/log will not cause any problems? Would this action present some unintended consequences?
