  • Basic configuration in GRC 10 for portals

    Hi Gurus,
Could you please tell me the basic configuration details in GRC 10 for portals.
    Thanks,
    Mukesh

    Hi Mukesh,
    You can refer to https://websmp230.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/sno/ui_entry/entry.htm?param=69765F6D6F64653D3030312669765F7361…
However there is no such guide on Portal integration with GRC, you might need to follow below steps:
1- Create one HTTP type RFC connection between GRC and Portal system.
2- Create System Alias in portal system for GRC system
3- Deploy the GRC Portal content in Portal system
5-Portal content comes with 5 work-sets and one security role. You can assign the portal role that comes with the Portal content to user in Portal and also GRC roles to the same user in GRC system.
    Hope this helps.

  • HT2486 I have 1100 contact and am trying to select and print only 300 for x-mas card labels - How do I do that?

I have 1100 contacts in my Apple Contact application database.  I am trying to select only 300 for x-mas card labels and I don't know how to do that - any suggestions

    Hello TSCTCS,
It sounds like you would like to print labels for 300 of your contacts. I would recommend creating a group, then adding the contacts to the group as you come across them with this article:
    Contacts (Mavericks): Group contacts
    http://support.apple.com/kb/PH15075
    Create a group or folder
    Select an account.
Click Add (+), then choose New Group. You can also select contacts, then choose File > New Group From Selection.
Create subgroups or subfolders by dragging a group or folder to another group or folder.
Add contacts to a group or folder
Select one or more contacts and drag them to a group or folder.
Contacts in an Exchange account can belong to only one folder at a time. Any contacts not in a created folder are in the default Exchange Contacts folder.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    Take care,
    Sterling

  • GRC value for both GR and IR

    Hi,
During GR, GRC account is debited and during IR, GRC account is credited.
Now, when GRC account debited 1000 during GR, during IR time, the amount for GRC also 1000. Correct?
1 May I know where in the configuration to tell the system that GRC amount for both GR and IR must be the same?
2 Any possible that GRC amount for both GR and IR time different?
    Thanks
    Rgds

    Hi,
GRC amount is GRC account is quantity x unit price ( say for eg: quantity 10,of its unit price).  There are no config settings to make the GR and IR grc amount to be same. The thing is need to flow the same information in GR and IR . Ultimately no discrpencis will come. The disripencies in GRC amount during GR and IR may occue. Please refer below linik which will give you better clarity. Thanking you.

  • GRC Ruleset for Logistics (IS-D, IS-M)

    Dear All,
I'm working on a GRC Implementation project & need GRC Ruleset for IS-Media & IS-D (Circulation) Modules. As No Standard rulset is available for these modules, any guidance on Custom ruleset will be of great help.
    Regards,
    Sudhakar S

    hi Nathan,
SAP provide pre defined rules as text files in 5.x and as BC sets for activation in 10.0. You should be able to find the BC sets within your system (should contain the words GRAC and RULESET). Over the years the rule sets delivered by SAP have been updated and refined, but majority of the rules defined have remained the same as a whole.
From these pre delivered rules you should be able to compare the "standard" definition to your custom rule definitions.
    I Hope that helps.

  • I just got an 8GB iPod touch, I'm concerned that I will not have enought gigabytes for future music purchases. Is it possible to upgrade to a 32GB without having to pay $300 for a new iPod?

I just got an 8GB iPod touch, I'm concerned that I will not have enough gigabytes for future music purchases, Is it possible to upgrade to a 32GB without having to pay $300 for a new iPod?

Well, obviously you can't walk into the apple store and get them to upgrade your iPod for you for FREE when the 32GB costs at least a 100$ more.
Just stick with the 8GB, don't download rubbish apps.

  • $300 For 2 Photoshop/Illustrator scripts- Applescript Preffered

I have been meaning to write these myself for months, but have been too busy, so we're trying to hire someone.
We would prefer these to be mostly Applescript, because I know Applescript and will be able to modify/maintain them, but we might consider all Javascript if there are no bites on Applescript.
There are probably bits in here that are not accessible to Applescript, that would need to be in Javascript. I think color overlays are not in the scripting dictionary and need to be figured out with scripting listener. That's fine, as necessary, to call Javascript from an Applescript. We just want it to be in Aplescript as much as possible.
If you're interested, please contact me:
    [personal info removed by moderator]
I assume that if you're interested, you'd want more information. We can provide example files in the "before" and finished states, talk or email about any questions you have, and I also have examples of some steps of the scripts functioning for reference.
Here is the outline of the two scripts:
    Script 1: Assign Color Overlay
    Overview:
This script would need to do the following in Adobe Photoshop. The script will be run from a command key.
    Script Steps:
    1. Ideally, read the current swatches on the swatch pallet in Photoshop. If this is a pain/impossible, then we’re open to getting this info from somewhere else. We can save out the info needed as a .csv or .txt and the script can just load it from there.
    2. When the script is run, it presents a dialog with a list of the colors from the swatch pallet. The user chooses a color from the list.
    3. It applies the color selected as a "Color Overlay" Layer Effect to the currently selected layer. If the layer already has a color overlay effect, it updates it to the selected color. The color overlay effect is applied with the “Screen” blending mode.
    4. It changes the layer name to the name of the color that was selected
Script 2: Save Files and Convert Photoshop File to Spot Color Raster EPS
    Overview:
The script will save out the active Photoshop file in multiple copies in different ways, place data on the clipboard, and then use Illustrator to convert one of the Photoshop files to a different format.
The open file when the script is run will always be a Photoshop file with layers, with the topmost layers named by colors as specified by the above “Script 1.” The files can have an arbitrary number of layers, but will all be in this format:
    first layer [Some Color Name]
arbitrary number of additional layers, each with color names
Shirt [ <- this is a solid color layer]
Art [<- this is a single group containing arbitrary layers]
    Script Steps:
    1. The active file is saved out exactly as it is. When the script’s run, it presents a save dialog. The operator chooses the save folder location and file name. I will refer to this as “The Save Folder” The script will then check to see if there’s an “Art” folder in The Save Folder. If there is, it saves the file there. If not, it creates the “Art” folder and saves it there. If the file already exists, it automatically overwrites and does not provide a dialog about it.
    2. Another copy is saved using “Save For Web. The original file was at 300 dpi and this copy is saved out bicubic down sampled to 72 dpi with the same inch dimensions. The save settings are {JPEG – High, Progressive – off, Optimized – on, Embed Color profile – off, Quality – 72, Blur – 0, Matte – none, Convert To sRGB – yes}   This one has the same file name as the first copy (except for the file extension) and is saved in The Save Folder.
    3. A flat copy of the art at the same dimensions but downsampled to 18 dpi is placed on the clipboard.
    4. An intermediate file for Illustrator conversion is saved. This should probably be saved in a new folder in The Save Folder called “Intermediate Files.” This folder needs to be checked for and created only if necessary. The file should have a naming scheme such as “Intermediate File” & [existing file name]. This file is identical to file 1, except:
    - the shirt layer and art folder are removed. This should probably be scripted as deleting the layer named “shirt” and everything below it in the file.
    - all the color overlays are removed (or turned off)
    5. Close the file.
    6. Open the intermediate file in Illustrator with the “Convert Layers to Objects” option.
    7. Select All
    8. Edit -> Edit Colors -> Convert to Greyscale
    9. Cycle through each layer one at a time and change the fill color to the swatch from an open Illustrator swatchbook called “Current Inks” with the same name as the layer name.
To clarify this previous step, our artists will be working off the same .ASE color swatchbook in both Photoshop and Illustrator. In Photoshop, the colors from this .ASE will be used as color overlays on layers. The file needs to be imported to Illustrator and have the same colors applied as fill colors of the raster objects that were the Photoshop layers. The color information is being conveyed from Photoshop to Illustrator through the layer names in Photoshop.
    10. Save this file to The Save Folder as a .AI with the same name and “CONV”
    11. Delete the intermediate file.

@Jongware -- thanks for your thoughts! I hated to think that I was going to be on the plank all by myself here... :-)
@TomT-shirts -- no worries. Given your articulate RFP, I suspected that something was amiss here, not the least of which was the fact that the numbers seemed to have been misinterpreted, I knew what was happening and probably why it was happening before I posted, so I was just trying to diplomatically (or not?!?) trying to alert both parties of a problem. You are (in my opinion and I think others' as well) perfectly fine in posting the listing here. How else would anyone know about your need and a possible opportunity for folks here that are able to help? SO that's all good. Where I (at least) felt the problem was/is is the continuing of the "transaction" "on-forum", which you clearly explained how that happened. Empathetic to your potential public disclosure of additional private information (as noted by @Jongware) is why I thought that it might be a good idea to step up and implicitly suggest taking it off-forum, not even knowing "how" it happened on your end. Also good points by @Jongware about the closure of such threads, something that I never really thought about.
So, at least from my perspective, keep 'em coming (at least the projects and questions :-)) and please do let everyone know that you were well taken care of by the folks here on this forum by a comment afterwards to "close" the thread as suggested by @Jongware. A pretty smart group they are (myself humbly excluded).
And -- best of luck on your project!!!! :-)

  • GRC table for Configuration settings available

  • Image resolution from 72 to 300 for print

    hello photoshopers.
if i am to print a large banner or Billboard that will be 10meters by 5meters height.lets say i do my documents settings 10cm x 5cm 72dpi in order for the mac to work faster, could i later change the document settings to 300dpi or would my print come out pixelated?
is it recomended to change the resolution from 72  to 300 at the end of a project?
    thank you.

You have to do the Math in your scaling ratio.  What you have to do is achieve around 100ppi image resolution at 100% final size for grand format billboard output.  You could get away with 72ppi image resolution, so if your scale is 400% ( or file size @ 25% ); a 300ppi image res in the file will work.  Now, to answer your question...no.  Final resolution should be pre-determined at file construction / origination.  So, if you want 300dpi document resolution at 100%; the file resolution should be 1200dpi / 300ppi min.  Try to get in the habit of preparing your files this way.  You should know going in what your final resolution requirements are for each project.  It is faster to work at 72dpi, however, I'm not sure it is a good idea because Raster effects usually do not regenerate well sizing up to 300dpi later on.

  • Finding data in GRC-PC for custom reporting

We're using GRC-PC version 2.5 and would like to create a customized issue detail report that contains, among other things, the Control Significance indicator (Key Control or Standard Control), and the text from the Description and Comments boxes for the issues and remediation plans.
Can anyone tell me where (table & field) our developers can find this data?  So far, they have been unsuccessful.
    Thanks
    Jeff

    Dear Jeff,
the signifficance indicator you can find in table HRP5304.
In transaction GRPC_STR_DISPLAY you find the objects used by PC 2.5 and from the technical information (F1) you can derive the table where information is stored.
Feel free to ask me if you do not find specific information.
    Kind regards,

  • GRC Password for Approvers

    Hi Champs,
Can anybody help me to know if there is any way by which Approvers are not forced to put GRC system password to approve the request just like Activating End User login for End Users in which user can login in GRC through existing systems based on the configuration done under Maintain Data Source configuration.SSO is not configured in our Landscape
e.g-Once Approver gets link for approval, he can click on link and give their existing SAP(e.g ECC) system password  to login and approve the request.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Ram

    Hi Ram
This is not possible in SAP GRC. as approvers are actual SU01 user masters due to workflow
End User Login is actually executed under the system user that you specify on the service in SICF. The end user are not SU01 accounts and from a SAP user perspective actually do not login to GRC.
You would have to build something to custom to handle this. With SSO however, users would not receive any password prompt. You could embed a URL for the Inbox on your network for them to launch as a possibility (or they click the link in the email notification)
You will have issues if the Workflow approval task setting in MSMP has reaffirm approval selected as they are requested to enter password there
Refer to Authenticate Approvers using LDAP Credentials for similar scenario and a SAP Ideas was raised
This has been raised in SAP Ideas place - you can vote on it and SAP might eventually review it: Approvers authentication to be based on a data source instead of GRC SU01 : View Idea

  • Alerts in GRC 10 for FF Admin assignment

    Hi Experts,
Can we have an alert notification when an FF ID is assigned to Firefighter as an Administrator mode (Not Via Workflow)
This issues is related to the compliance, any admin can assign a high risk FF ID to any User.
We have only one option to have some change logs and this is a manual process.
FF IDs are very high/critical risk involved.
    so kindly suggest on this.
    Thanks,
    Sriram

    Hi Neeraj,
Your are correct.. But here the GRC Administrators will have end to end access to do all the activities.
The log in notification to the owner/controller is an second level control. But is there any possibility to have this at first level i.e, admin assigning the FF ID.
We are aware that such functionality is not available from GRC standard product
Do you have any idea to do this via coding to have some custom notifications outside of MSMP.
    Appreciate your suggestion.
    Thanks,
    Sriram

  • In GRC CUP for UAR,Reason for Rejection

    Hi,
What is the standard reason for rejection Reason code and description.
    Thanks

    Hi,
The reason codes specifies the reason for the rejection of the review, from what I understand. What you could do is have reasons like "Required role" etc....I suppose the descriptions should be what is meaningful to you/your users.
