GRC AC 10.0 Maintain Master User ID Mapping

Hi,
I try to configure "Maintain Master User ID Mapping" in the transaction
SPRO->GRC->Access Control
Example:
SYSTEM: A
USER ID: B
MASTER USER ID: C
If i try to launch the PSS for the C user, also change the password of the B user?
This, not working.

No currency assigned to vendor (Maintain master record)

Hello Experts
I have the currency as an optional field in the vendor master data for de purchasing data.
So when doing an RFQ for this vendor without currency informed, an error appears:
           No currency assigned to vendor (Maintain master record)
           Message no. 06497
And in the customizing I put the currency as an optional field for the RFQ.
What can I do? It is necessary to put as required field in the vendor master data?

Yes, I know what you mean.
But I have the field of the currency in the vendor master data as optional. So if the user does not indicate the currency in the vendor, it is not possible to create a Contract (tx ME31K) for this vendor because the following error appears:
      No currency assigned to vendor (Maintain master record)
      Message no. 06497
      Procedure
      Please maintain the purchase order currency for this vendor in the purchasing data of the vendor master record.
And the system does not allow to indicate one manually.
For the PO, instead, it is possible to make reference to a vendor that does not have any currency and indicate then it in the PO.

Incorrect result between maintain master data and bex query, how can i fix?

i get some messages from the users there is incorrect result between SAP R/3 and Report on BW. i controlled the monitor and i saw there was a job for 0CUSTOMER_ATTRIBUTE that it finish correctly but the processing it was only in PSA, i started the full update immediately from PSA into Data Targets and is finished correctly. after when i control the content of the 0CUSTOMER (right click maintain master data) i get the correct attribute result that match the data in SAP R/3, but the problem is when i execute a query Bex on this master data it will not return the same attributes data.

hi,
For any master data attributes loaded you will have to run "Attributes Change Run" for that.Execute for Master data 0CUSTOMER.
The same is avilable in rsa1->Tools(top menu)->apply hierarchy/attribute run.

Why cant I see an attribute when I "maintain master data"

Here is an easy question for you.
I added a new navigational attribute to an InfoOject. After I have loaded the data and activated it, I can't see the navigational attribute/values when I do a "maintain master data" when I display it via InfoObject. But, I can see the navigational attribute/values when I do a "maintain master data" when I display it via InfoSource. What do I have to do to see it when maintaining master data via the InfoObject option?

usually in maintain master data - it might be that the number of fields are too large and you are not able to see your field.... what you can do is to select a particular row with data and double click on it to see the data or go to options and user parameters and choose ALV grid display and it usually displays all the fields unless you are using a custom layout which does not have this characteristic included.
The easiest way to check out if the characteristic is available is to use the P table in SE16 and view the contents - this too if you do not have custom layout defined at the ALV grid level...

How to change funcionality "Maintain Master Data" to RSA1 instead WebDympro (BW 7.4)

Can we use it (maintain master data) in SAP GUI RSA1 like SAP BW 7.3?

I have made the code changes as suggested by you but there is some kind of inconsistency.
After maintaining master data ,If I go back one step it works fine
But if I type /nRSA1 or any other tcode on the same screen,it gives a dump.
Below is the dump.

Dumps when trying to Maintain master data

Hi All,
When we are trying to Maintain master data for a master data object 0WBS_ELEMT, we are getting a short dump "CALL_FUNCTION_NOT_FOUND" in our BI 7.0 system.
What we are doing is Right click on 0WBS_ELEMT info object and Maintain master data, then we get the above dump. Saw in one of the forums that by making the info object in active and activating it again it will solve the issue but even after doing this the issue still persists, we still get the dump. Would need help from all of you.

The dump is due to the fact that 0WBS_ELEMT has an attribute which still
uses the POSID conversion exit. Attribute 0PROG_POS should use
conversion exit POSBW. And in fact, in RSD1 of this infoobject, POSID is
Still maintained. However, if you go to the DDIC object in SE11
(SE11 -> choose "Domain" -> /BI0/OPROG_POS -> Display), you will
see that the conversion routine POSID still appears. This is the reason
you get the dump.
In order to resolve this issue, go to RSD1 -> enter infoobject
'0PROG_POS' -> choose maintain -> Set object status to inactive and
reactivate the InfoObject. The reactivation should regenerate the DDIC
objects (you can check this in SE11 again).
Alternatively change to the version from content which utilises POSBW
already.

Hi,
use the PARAMETER-ID clausole of the PARAMETERS / SELECT-OPTIONS instructions.
See help for more informations.
You have to know the parameter id of the field and also the parameters, must be tight to the right data element (example : parameters : p_mara like mara-matnr and NOT parameters : p_mara(18) ).
Otherwise, use "get parameter id" in the initialization event to populate the selection screen.

Maintaining Master-Child relationship during ODI transformation

For following requirement, we need the best approach to transform data from Source to Target instance(Both Source and Target instances are running on Oracle Database)
Tables in Source Instance
a) Source_Master
b) Source_Detail (One to many relationship with Source_Master)
Tables in Target Instance
a) Target_Master
b) Target_Detail (One to many relationship with Target_Master)
In ODI need to create interfaces to transform data from
a) SOUCE_MASTER table to TARGET_MASTER table and
b) SOUCE_DETAIL table to TARGET_DETAIL table
NOTE: Value for Primary Key column in Target Instance tables Target_Master and Target_Detail are generated from Database Sequence.
Once the transformation is completed using ODI, the master-child relationship should be maintained in Target Instance between Target_Master and Target_Detail table. How do we achieve this in ODI ?

For this, create the first interface for MASTER, in the mapping for the primary key you should map the database sequence, something like: MYSCHEMA.MYSEQUENCE_NEXTVAL.
Create the second interface for DETAIL, and on the sources pane of the interface, drag the SOURCE_DETAIL and TARGET_MASTER datastores. Make the joing between the two using the keys from the source. In the Primary key mapping of the DETAIL_TARGET make sure you select the new PRIMARY KEY of the TARGET_MASTER, mapping in staging area. This "lookup" will be done in the target data server.
If you are going to be doing updates and inserts in the target, you should make sure you set the Update Key selected for each of the targets to the same keys as on the source (obviously you won't have the target values!)
If you are not going to do any updates, then use the IKM SQL Control Append rather than the incremental update IKM.
You can optionally set the COMMIT option of the first interface to NO, and only commit on completion on the second interface if you want to ensure the full 'all or nothing' transactionality - but bear in mind, large volumes of uncommitted changes use resources....

Problem in maintaining service user for CCM srm_cse

Hello all,
We are implementing SRM 4.0 (EBP 5.5) SSP scenario.
To support shopping of EBP we are also implementing CCM 2.0 as an add on.
Please note CCM and EBP are on same client and CAT & CSE are also on the same client.
No XI is involved as the catalog will be only uploaded in CSV format.
I am doing intial configurations for CAT and CSE.
Now we know that we need to configure a service user in the service of srm_cse.
I am adding the same in SRM client-> trans SICF -> default host -> sap -> bc -> bsp -> ccm -> srm_cse ->change service -> log on procedure- log on data reqd. -> Anonymous log on data - details of client, user, password, language.
since my SRM and CCM are in same client I have put the same client no. and given the user with role "/CCM/CATALOG_SEARCH"
But when I am saving this change in service I am getting an error messaeg that " Changes to Repository or cross-client Customizing are not permitted ".
I am in a same client hence there is no question of cross client customizing .
The other cause left is CHANGES TO REPOSITORY .
Can anybody tell me where I should do config so that this "changes to repository" error message will be be corrected?

If you getting this error during 'collection work item creation' then this is the issue of ISU or R/3 org structure, rather its issue of FICA related , and can not be solved in CRM. In R/3 or ISU system go to t-code PPOMW , there find out the relevant org unit from structure search for 'collection strategy' or the org unit related to the work item, and assign the required user IDs there on the position. Log out from web ui and try again.
