GRC - CUP : Account changes and UMR Changes

Hi,
When we try to make changes for user account or UMR, its seen that only certain of the data from the SAP user master record is populated into GRC. This includes name, address, email id etc..
Is it possible to get some more formation from SAP user master to be displayed during account changes ? Is this configura
ble in GRC ?

Sorry to hear of the bother you are having.
I have various shortcuts via a link below, options 3/3a, 24a/b and lots of others.
A security answer is needed in order to alter the security settings (my link 24a), however most people probably chose their mother's maiden name, which with social networking sites (and indeed things like friendsreunited etc), it's not hard to get that. I recommend using something else - even if it is in response to that question.

You might like to see if you can remember giving any details away in response to a phish email, made sure that your OS is up to date as well as any security products. Also if you use the same information to login to various sites, it might be prudent to revisit them and alter the passwords, different ones. Alternatively use a different login for each site you have access to.

My account type and billing changed without notification!

I was given a promotional internet offer of Blast internet + TV with 12 mth of HBO promotional offer in late May. They said that even if I move my offer will stay. It did even after the move initially until I exchanged the set-top box (because my new place required different box due to different signal type). Now they changed it to Performance pro with TV with higher bills and slower internet speed without notifying me. They even did a new credit inquiry even though I've been their costumer for over 3 years. I talked for hours with a representative and apparently no one is able to change it back to my previous plan. I am so disappointed with the service.

Purchases are charged against the balance of the redeem gift card first.
If the balance runs out, any further charges go against a credit or debit card on file.

hello stevestella, if your manual changes don't 'stick' after a restart of the browser, please look out for any suspicious extensions (like 3rd-party-toolbars or things you have not installed intentionally) presently installed under '''firefox/tools > addons > extensions''' or the programs section of the windows control panel and remove those entries.
in case this doesn't solve the issue please try this: go to firefox > help > troubleshooting information > profile folder - "show folder", then a new window will open up. in this window look out for a file named '''user.js''' (it might be used to overwrite your custom settings). in case it is present , delete or rename this file and restart firefox afterwards.

How to compare the value of a cell before changing and after changing.

Hey there,
Now I want to implement a JTable. And the requirement is that users can edit a cell in the Table only once. I think there are two possible ways. One is that after user edited a cell, I will set this cell read only. Another way is to compare the vaule before and after the changing. If it is different, then write back the previous value.
But I did not know how to implement in Java. Can anybody help me?

inevitably, you will have to save a before copy of
the data, what this many times amounts to is that you
will need to have 2 identical data structures before
you start or some type of locking mechanism for each
piece of data.Why is this inevitable? I don't see it as inevitable at all. In fact, it's quite simple to implement a TableModel that returns false when isEditable(int, int) is invoked for any cell that has already had setValueAt(Object, int, int) inovked on it, for example. Depending on the requirements and implementation a different methodology may be needed for determining when the edit has taken place, such as a custom editor that notifies the TableModel when stopCellEditing() is invoked. Heck, overriding editingStopped() in JTable to do it might even work.
So, create a TableModel that returns isEditabe(int, int) as true only if the cell hasn't been edited yet. The only problem to solve from there is how you know when it's been edited. I've already given you a few leads on that, it's not particularly hard but depending on your exact implementation it may require different solutions.

CODE CHANGE and DATA CHANGE while monitoring

I have a scenario where I got one system error with restart possible.
The failure happened because of wrong data or code.
I want to know, whether we can change the data/code while monitoring and get it reflect while the next re-start of the same message.

the only way (within the standard)
is I believe using the test tool (component monitoring) to send the message directly to Integration Engine
but... this does not always work (at least in my case)
you should try to validate the message before sending it or develop a way to resend it from the <b>sender system</b> with changed data - this is the best practice but I agree that tool for changing the data in XI would be very helpful

Got tired of iPhoto and finally committing to using lightroom. Using the Lightroom 5 i purchased last year and want to commit to making it my primary way of managing and editing all of my photos ( about 8K). Is there a way to have imported images from my hard drive/Finder (MAC) show as the edited or moved image when i am working in lightroom? Basically want what i am doing in Lightroom to be reflected on my hard drive and vice versa so that i don't have to "add" or "copy" every time I want to work in lightroom.

Unfortunately Lightroom does have certain limitations:
A particular catalog can only be accessed by one instance of Lightroom at one time.
(ie it is not designed for multiple simultaneous access.);
As far as I am aware a catalog cannot be accessed remotely although images can be.
Victoria Brampton has a solution using Dropbox where both the images and the catalog are stored on Dropbox.
Individual users download the catalog to thier workstation and work on images etc and then shut down Lightroom and update the catalog back to Dropbox.
No one else should acessing the catalog or images while one user is using the catalog and images otherwise a conflict will arise and someones work will be erased.
Disclaimer: this sort of setup is NOT supported by Adobe and is not risk free (for more reasons than I have elaborated).

GRC CUP AE Authentication and Redirection

I have a scenario where i need to navigate directly to a link on the left navigation page of the AE app launched via index_apr.jsp.
Link is called: scrLeftNav.roleReaffirm.do
Issue that i have is that it appears that i need to first go to the index_apr.jsp page for authentication to kick in.
given we have SSO turned on, it works nicely and the user goes straight into the AE application, however then you have to manually click on the link on the left navigation to go to the intended target jsp.
I was wondering if the index_apr.jsp does support some redirection after it's done the authentication.
eg: something like .../AE/index_apr.jsp?Redirect=scrLeftNav.do
If i try and go directly to .../AE/scrLeftNav.roleReaffirm.do then it terminates as it appears it cant authenticate the user.
Am i missing something or is there no way to do this.
Only way i can think of for now is to write a custom component that would authenticate to /AE/ app and then redirect to scrLeftNav.roleReaffirm.do link.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

After some really good hints from harleen, i have gone down the track of writing a custom redirector to be able to SSO into any AE application link.
Approach i have taken is..
1. Have a simple JSP on a standalone Web App, configured for SPNEGO/SSOLogonTickets
2. Try to make a connection to the .../AE/index_apr.jsp application using HttpURLConnection
3. Then do a resonse.sendredirect to the .../AE/scrLeftNav.roleReaffirm.do app link
End Result is that the navigation to .../AE/scrLeftNav.roleReaffirm.do still fails.
Things that i have tried...
2. Try to make a connection to the .../AE/index_apr.jsp application using HttpURLConnection
     I have set the cookies to include the MYSAPSSO2 cookie, making sure that the SSO happens to .../AE/index_apr.jsp
      HttpURLConnection ResponseCode returned by HttpURLConnection is 200 and it appears that the connection should have     worked.
      HttpURLConnection Response also returns new JSESSIONID so a session did get created anyway.
3. Then do a resonse.sendredirect to the .../AE/scrLeftNav.roleReaffirm.do app link
     Now, i set cookies on the response within the jsp request.
     I have tried setting the cookies to include the original JSESSIONID or JSESSIONID returned from the HttpURLConnection Response as well as MYSAPSSO2 cookie.
I would have thought that this should have worked but it hasn't so far.
Any thoughts from anyone on this will be lovely.

I have data in CDPOS but details of item changed are in CRMD_ORDERADM_I table. What is the connection between this two different tables? OBJECT_ID no. Maybe OBJECT_ID is a sum of document numberposition... Something like this?.

Future direction of User Provisioning Tools ( GRC CUP or IDM)

Hi Security Colleagues,
We all know that SAP has GRC CUP(Access Enforcer) and NW IDM for provisioing.
We can use either of toll for user provisioning.
Based on your experience , what is the best tool ? ofcourse ,It changes from one company to other depends on requirements.
I am noticed that lot of SAP devlopment activity going on around IDM.
Based on SAP's future direction, what is the best tool ?
Its a common problem for most of SAP customers as SAP is giving IDM freely as part of NW license.

Importing workflows from GRC 5.3 to GRC 10 and then changing them

Hello Experts,
We are migrating our SPM,RAR and CUP data from GRC 5.3 to GRC 10.1.At present in our CUP we have user access request workflow as 2 stage workflow.Now in GRC 10.1 we require a 1 stage workflow.
I wanted an advise if it would be feasable to import the GRC 5.3 workflows and then make changes into it and remove 1 stage.
Or create new workflows using BRF+.
we are not sure as to what changes can be performed in the GRC 5.3 imported workflows in GRC 10.

Hello Steve,
Migration you deploy Java component and extract data form 5.3 and import in 10.
still lots of work to be done like and implementation as there are pre-requisite.
second approach does not need to extract all data from 5.3 system(apart from Ruleset,if at all its required)
I never migrate workflows better to create new one identical and faster i believe .
Second approach is little time consuming but good from my point of view.
In java stack people normally go with 2 system landscape .
there has been client where in ABAP people go with 3 system landscape.
now where tricky consulting part play and which data to be imported where.
and few other points needed to be looked like when you use tools and import data.
you actually import all transaction data which contain all active and inactive
expired.
in you go with 2nd option you will have only valid data to start with.

Yes, it's frustrating.
I don't have my iPod with me but, as I recall, the change is done in Settings/Store. That change will apply to NEW purchases. However, be aware that all purchases are permanently associated with the Apple ID that was originally used. Generally, it's only a problem when you need to update an app. IF you do your updating from iTunes and your logged in to the "wrong" ID, you'll need to log out and back in again. It's easier from the iPod as you do not need to log out/in but you do need to know the password.
Unfortunately, you can not merge IDs nor can you transfer purchases from one ID to another. Go here to find out exactly what you have. I have the same problem so I deliberately made both passwords identical to make things slightly easier for me.

Welcome to the Apple community.
If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact Apple ID Support, upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.
The operator will take you through some steps you may have already tried, however they need to be sure they have exhausted all usual approaches before trying to reset your account, so you should try to be helpful and show patience with the procedure.
The operator will need to verify they are speaking to the account holder and may ask you some questions that only the account holder could know, and you will need to answer them if the process is to proceed.
Once the operator has verified your identity they will send a message through to your device which contains an alpha numeric code, which you will need to read back to them.
Once this has been completed they will send an email to your iCloud email address after a period of 24 hours, so you should check that mail is enabled in your devices iCloud settings.
Upon receipt of the email, use the reset link provided to reset your password, after which you should be able to make the adjustments to iCloud that you wish to do.
