GRC PC 2.5 - pre delivered data

Hi All,
We installed the PC 2.5 and activated all the delivered BC-Sets in the PC - we want to ensure that we have all the delivered data.
We can now see in the system the pre-defined rules in the:
Evaluation Set-Up -> Automated Test Rules -> Rule
and also the pre-defined rule scripts and criteria in the:
Evaluation Set-Up -> Automated Test Customizing -> Rule Script / Rule Criteria
According to the documentation, the PC comes with 70 sample controls and 102 rules.
The documentation terminology is not so clear regarding the pre-delivered content -
Is it only rules and scripts we saw or is there something more?

Hi Yudit
Even though you see the rule and rule scripts in PC 2.5 system,in order to use them you need to install RTA (Real time agents) in backend ERP system,where you will perform the automated control test.
You also need to connect PC2.5 and ERP system using a RFC connection
RTA packages are available for the following different type of ERP versions
ERP 4.6 C
4.7
2004
ECC 6.0
RTAs are the real ABAP programs(pre delivered Rule Scripts) which runs in the ERP system and sends back the result to the PC 2.5 system

How to Deliver Data Dictionary Content

Hi,
I have created a Data Dictionary DC and defined some tables. Some of these tables hold data which are used to populate drop down lists in my WD application.
It is easy to deliver a WD components and DDIC structure - just deploy the SCA. But I also need to deliver pre-configured data in some of the tables. How do we do this?
Also, how does one transport data from a development system to a production system?

Hello Walter,
I think you should be using Simple Types with enumerations. It is easy to use them with web dynpro to fill Dropdowns. Also the internationalization part would be easier to handle if this is required.

Bapi to be used for delivering data of outbound delivery to LDL

Hi,
I am new to ABAP development and I need to do some enhancements for standard bapi BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_SAVEREPLICA .
I have to use bapi for delivering data of outbound delivery to LDL.
I have created segments with additional fields for order header and item header in we31.
The additional fields should be implemented in created segments.After creating segments the additional fields data should be assigned to Idoc structure OBDLV.
This is the requirement I need to deliver by tomorrow.Please help me by providing step by step procedure and how to do?

for cancelling GI/GR you may use BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE with GM_Code 06
for cancelling confirmations you may use BAPI_PRODORDCONF_CANCEL

Trigger workflow whenever Req. deliv.date of a SO is changed

Hi,
I have a requirement where i have a workflow which will be trigerred whenever Req. deliv.date of a sales order is changed.
I have added an event for this in a customized business object type. This event is the start event for the workflow.
Now i have to call this event for VA02 transaction.
Is there any iser exit in which i can call the event?
Please help.

Hi Rakhi,
Instead of looking for user-exits. Try using the standard event and you can create and attach a check FM which will check that the "Req Deliv Date field" is changed or not.
If not changed, then you can raise an exception there only and will not procedd further.
If changed, then your task will trigger where you have written your code.
This way its easy and saves your time for finding the proper exit.

I tried the method which mentioned above, but when I tried to change the Valid Fr. Year 1996 to Year 2011, it probe me the message "Please enter validity area between years 1995 - 2010." and I wasn't allow to save.

Error Msg_ME078 - DELIV. date outside period covered by factory calendar

Dear experts:
when i create PO with ME21N,
if the delivery date is not within the year of 2010,
there will appear an error msg "ME078 - DELIV. date outside period covered by factory calendar".
i have checked the factory calendar with SCAL.
i know how to modify the factory calendar to expand the time period,
but now i still have a question,
the system can't change the year period automatically?
so we have to change the period after we confirm the public holiday calendar?

Check you SCAL factory calander, whether the day is defined as working day or not??
If not defined, then you can only use the next working day.

GRC AC v5.3 CUP - Initial Data Files

Hi All,

Our GRC-AC v5.3 CUP Dev system has too many roles and we want it to match our GRC-AC v5.3 CUP QA system. We do not want to go through one role at a time and delete them. Would it be the correct procedure to export the CUP QA system "Initial Data" files for "Roles" and import into CUP DEV using the setting "Clean and Insert".
Both systems are on the same CUP Version / SP / Build.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

SAP third party Pre-delivered SLD Content - Product and SWCVs

Hi All,
I have been working on integration of our product with SAP. We wanted our SLD objects for the product and the swcs to be delivered as part of SAP's pre-delivered SLD content, so that the client could simply import our design objects in to their PI landscape (Similar to how SAP provides PI content on service market place. We do have partnership with SAP and this product integration was not yet certified by SAP. However, they SAP agreed to supply our product and SWCs as part of the standard SAP CIM modal content).
How ever, even when we gave our SLD export to SAP, when the latest CIM modal for SLD from SAP got released, we were surprised to see that, our product and SWCvs are created with the vendor name "sap.com". This absolutely makes our product and swcvs unusable as we would not be able to look at them in the SPROXY on application systems. This was the same case with an older client that I worked with too..!! Any one had similar experience with this? Shouldn't SAP
be creating them with vendor as "<vendor>.com"? At least, our product is not owned by SAP..!!
We all know that, if sap.com is the vendor for SLD objects, only SAP could provide the proxy implementations through an SAP support pack.
Could someone from SAP PI Techies understand my point and care to respond?

Pre Delivered content or rather industry content is a factor that is one of the advantages of XI. In this case, for example industry standards providers like Rosettanet, Seeburger and even in case of SAP's SRM etc comes with content for XI. usually they are preconfigured interfaces, message types, mappings , integration scenarios etc for XI.

Req. deliv.date should exclude holidays and weekends

When I try to create my sales order. The Req.deliv.date and First date will automatically fill with date. The question is it should exclude weekends and holiday, but the result is not. Just like that
The 07/12/2014 is Saturday. How should I make it automatically exclude weekends? Thank you in advanced.

Hi Peter,
The requested delivery date is the date that the customer is requesting the material arrive at their site. Therefore, the logical calendar to check this against is the unloading point calendar of the customer. Please maintain an unloading point and assign a calendar for the customer in transaction VD02.
When you do this, the system will issue a warning of you enter a non-working day. There is not possibility to change this to an error in the standard system. The system assumes that the user knows what they are doing and takes priority over the warning message. However, the warning message does inform the user of the next working day.
