You need to restart your sap adapter in GRC front end from configurations tab-->Sap adapter >choose the one for your back end system> if it's grayed out or even green still, click on it and let it restart and turn green again.
Then you go back to your backend ECC system and in SM59 , choose the RFC connection for the Risk Terminator (the one you have saved in the Risk Terminator transaction /VIRSA/ZRTCNFG in backend system).. and test the connection. It should pass the connection test if your adapter is working and set up correctly. Then when you do save in SU01 or make changes in PFCG and have Risk Terminator activated for the backend system, it will check the SOD violations against those transactions from RAR front end.
If you don't want Risk Terminator to check for SOD violations in front end RAR, then you need to set your settings to 'NO' for all in the Risk Terminator transaction. You can get all this info in the GRC config guide for RAR and SPM area.

  • GRC RAR version relative to SAP upgrade to ECC 6

    Hi,
Currently we are on GRC RAR version AC-RAR 5.3-13.3. We are upgrading our SAP from ECC 5 to ECC 6 and the latest support pack. What GRC RAR version do we need to be on to identify any potential SOD issues on the ECC 6 system? Are there any other potential pitfalls that we should be aware of?
    Thanks,
    John Burk

    Hello John,
Are you using a customized rule set?
    SAP provides rule updates periodically:
    For example:
1446680 - Risk Analysis and Remediation Rule Update Q2 2010
You'll find that some specific changes are performed in these rule updates, and some of these changes are only for ECC 6.
You might want to check also here:
Note 986996 - GRC Access Control- Best Practice for Rules and Risks
Then, the point is not the GRC version, but the rule set. Of course, you have to upgrade the RTAs.
    Cheers,
    Diego.

  • How to handle idoc documents by BizTalk without WCF-SAP Adapter?

    Dear All,
our company is no customer of SAP.
But one partner company of us uses SAP Systems to generate business transactions like "INVOICE".
Then they send us such a idoc-file per email.
So I can not use the SAP-WCF Adapter by BizTalk (the download of SAP RFC SDK is constrained and only for customers) to generate a schema of such a flat file automatically.
The second problem: I believe that only the WCF Adpater can validate the structure of the infomartion in inbound idoc files.
Is there a way to solve this problem without using the WCF-SAP Adapter?
    Thanks in advance

Actually I only need an idoc decoder and disassembler to import the information of the idoc file.
Is there a special pipeline component by MS?

    Dear All,
Facing two issues as below, any help/pointers greatly appreciated.

    Dear Shiva & Others
I am still stuck up with J2CA repository config of SAP adapter. I have been able to successfully test JCA outbound service (request-response to SAP BAPI/IDOC) with BSE config only. Below are still problems, with J2CA config, if i create a outbound JCA request-response service, wsdl generation and everything is fine, but runtime when called thru BPEL partner link it gives below error in adapter log (still working on inbound jca service and getitng some problem there too which hopefully can be resolved).

  • BPEL with SAP integration problem.

    Hi,
I have a serious problem to integrate with SAP and BPEL.
I have to create a IDOC document in BPEL process.
Can I create IDOC in BPEL process through SAP Adapter?
    Does anybody know about this?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Jean.

Looks like Process B is being called successfully, if it wasn't it wouldn't be in the BPEL Console.
I suggest that you look at the Process B the in the flow in the BPEL Console. It looks like you may be assigning a variable that has not been populated.
The reason why you cann't see a instance for Process A is because Process B has not returned a value, sucess or failure. Therefore Process A is still stitting there waiting. To confirm this go to your BPEL Console select the BPEL processes tab then the manual recovery. You should see a row for your Process A.
    cheers

  • Soa 11g - error calling SAP adapter

    Hello
I'm installing a SAP adapter on SOA suite 11g following this tutorial http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E15523_01/doc.1111/e17057/bpel_pm.htm#CHDIDHHI
Using Application Explorer i can connect to SAP server , test services and export wsdls, but when I use this wsdls (Inbound JCA Service) in a simple composite application a got this error :
Error during deployment: Deployment Failed: [JCABinding] [OlaMundoSAP.Service1/1.0]Unable to complete load due
Cause: Unable to find suitable outbound binding.
My composite is very simple, only one Bpel calling a third party adapter, error occurs in deploy time.
    Any suggest guys ?

    Helder,
in case you still phase this problem, please have a look at the following note and check the prerequisite patches to apply SOA composites:
Oracle Fusion Middleware Application Adapter Best Practices Guide for Oracle WebLogic Server 11g (Doc ID 1080041.1)
Patch 9563280 should solve your problem.

  • Error whicle Testing SAP Adapter service

I have created Mediator process which has configuration for 3rd Party Adapter for SAP. I deployed the process and when I am testing it, I am getting following error.
java.lang.Exception: oracle.sysman.emSDK.webservices.wsdlapi.SoapTestException: Exception occured when binding was invoked. Exception occured during invocation of JCA binding: "JCA Binding execute of Reference operation 'TEST_ITEM' failed due to: JCA Binding Component connection issue. CreateItemListProvSAP:CreateItemListSAPAdapterService [ TEST_ITEMPortType::TEST_ITEM(Input_TEST_ITEM,Output_TEST_ITEM) ] : The JCA Binding Component was unable to establish an outbound JCA CCI connection due to the following issue: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Configuration 'SAP_TEST_TARGET' not available for adapter 'MySAP'. ". The invoked JCA adapter raised a resource exception. Please examine the above error message carefully to determine a resolution. at oracle.sysman.emas.model.wsmgt.WSTestModel.invokeOperation(WSTestModel.java:575) ... 72 more
Could some one please help - what could be the possible cause?
I have went through the some the post here in this form, and they say ( This resolution was given for a similar error for Channel, I am getting error for Target )-
" In your configuration folder IWAY_HOME/config/YourConfigName/ are there multiple files like repository.xml1, repository.xml2 etc in addition to repository? Similarly are you seeing multiple ste_repository files?
In that case, you might have done some CRUD operation when the iwafjca.rar is deployed and running. When ever you are doing CRUD operations in iwae, please make sure the iwafjca.rar is not deployed or in active mode especially when you are using file repository."
My question is what do you mean by CRUD operation here? I just deployed the process and did not do anything else.
Also, I need some clarification related to SAP adapter configuration for Inbound and Outbound process.
My process is outbound (I am using SOA 11.1.1.3) and through application explorer I have created only Connection and Target.
Under the target, in remote function modle, I selected the BAPI and exported wsdl and xsds using J2CA
For Outbound transactions, do I need to create channel?
Could some one please help list the steps of configurations needed for Outbound and Inbound transactions for SAP adapter in Application explorer
    Thanks a lot
    Namit

    Thanks Manoj for your help,
We have redeployed the J2CA and bounced the server.
    Mediator process is also redeployed.
Now I am getting following error -
    Webservice invocation failed
The selected operation execute could not be invoked.
An exception occured while invoking the webservice operation. Please see logs for more details.
oracle.sysman.emSDK.webservices.wsdlapi.SoapTestException: Exception occured when binding was invoked.
Exception occured during invocation of JCA binding: "JCA Binding execute of Reference operation 'TEST_ITEM' failed due to: Error in processing the input document.".
The invoked JCA adapter raised a resource exception.
Please examine the above error message carefully to determine a resolution.
    Any clue on this?
    Thanks,
    Namit

  • Validation of SOA Suite / OSB / SAP Adapter install

We will be doing a clustered install of SOA Suite 11g, OSB and the SAP Adapter at a customer next week.
I was wondering if anyone has any validation scripts/tests that I might use to test basic functionality and connectivity after the install.
When we deployed into DEV (a single node) environment, we wrote a simple HelloWorld test. I thought I'd check here to see if anyone has something they use to validate their installs.
We will be installing SOA Suite 11gPS2, OSB 11g and the SAP Adapter (PS1) into SOA Suite. The OS is RedHat Linux 5.5.
If there is a better place for me to ask this question, please direct me there.
    Thanks,
    Mike

    Hi,
When I checked the diagnostic logs I can see the following type of messages:
    [2012-02-08T13:33:35.702+00:00] [osb_server2] [TRACE] [] [] [tid: [STUCK].ExecuteThread: '1' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'] [userId: <WLS Kernel>] [ecid: 0000JLS^rAUEoI05nzk3yZ1FC_AW000002,0] [SRC_CLASS: org.eclipse.persistence.internal.databaseaccess.DatabaseAccessor] [APP: JCA Transport Provider] [dcid: 49e003eb77940676:13e96fa:1355c9322e6:-7fd8-0000000000000002] [SRC_METHOD: basicExecuteCall] SELECT Batch_Date, Update_Flag FROM dbo.amr_temp_update
Is there any problem because of which the thread is getting stuck. Is there any parameter for the DB adapter which can be changed to fix this problem.
    Thanks,
    Sanjay

  • GRC RAR function ids

    Hi,
I have a question for GRC RAR functions ids. After uploading objects,do i have to create function ids and add tcodes and update permissions with the help of controllers/finance admin.I am not sure how it works.
    Thanks
    Mushu.

    Dear Mushu,
You will get businessprocess, rule set, funciton, risks  etc., text files for different systems like R/3, CRM & SRM along with the installation files. You can upload these files and generate your SOD rules. This is standard rule set available from SAP. You can customize this rule set later as per your business requirements by changing functions, risks etc.,
If you want to have totally customized rule set then you need to follow the procedure of creating functions, addition of t-codes, authorization obejcts (permissions) enablement and then generating rules. If the customized rule set is huge the better to use the text files - tweak them and upload into RAR tool
    Thanks and Best Regards,

    Hi Manoj
Thanks a lot for your response.
I suspected the problem to be with the SAP JCO file versions and hence I downloaded the 64 bit libraries for SAPJCO from SAP site.
(SAP Adapter can run on 64-bit JVM but only after the correct 64-bit JCO file is used. We were using 32-bit JCO files where as JDK was 64bit.)
After I replaced the jars and dlls in Windows/System32 and lib directory I was able to get rid of the "Can't find dependent libraries error."
But now I am hitting a new error
java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError: JCO.classInitialize(): Could not load middleware layer 'com.sap.mw.jco.rfc.MiddlewareRFC'
JCO.nativeInit(): Could not initialize dynamic link library sapjcorfc E:\Oracle\SOASuite\adapters\application\lib\sapjcorfc.dll: Can't load IA 64-bit .dll on a IA 32-bit platform] java.library.path"
    Any inputs on this.
    Thanks
    Subhankar
