Great idea for Safari

Hi All
I have a great idea for a new feature for Safari that ties into social media and intergration with friends and collegues.
IMHO this could change the way people use the web.
Are there any coders or developers out there that would want to come in on the project to help bring it to fruition??

We have a great idea for an app, need some advice

my wife and i were joking around about something and she came up with a great idea for an app. we don't know anything about programming or developing so any advice on how to proceed? i guess we need to find an app maker? to propose our idea to without it being stolen. any help would be great, i scrolled thru the first 5 pages of this thread and saw nothing related. thanks.

One option is if there is a similar type of app available via the iTunes app store that you like, contact the developer for the app. Without providing much detail about your app idea, ask the developer if they would contract their services to build your app - along with regular maintenance and app updates, etc. Keep in mind that Apple makes the final decision if an app will be available via the iTunes app store - the overwhelming majority of app submittals are approved, but not all based on Apple's written requirements.

Where do I send great ideas for iPhone and iTouch applications??

I have some great ideas that Apple might be interested, but how do I let them know what they are. I don't want to ring as it would be an expensive international call!
If anybody working for Apple is moderating these forums could you please contact me and let me know what to do?
Or if any of you guys know how to speak to them, leave your comment.
My app ideas are fun and enjoyable, I'm sure you will be downloading them in the near future!

I have what I think is a great idea for legitimage music sharing with your friends app, keeping the song writers earning what they have worked hard for!

But I need advice on what to do about getting it made! I no idea about programming. Im a professional IT guy with good ideas but never know what to do when I get them, I just forget about them. But this one I feel is so good Ive searched the best forums to air my idea, ive never done anything like this before so im going for it. It could even be something apple could impliment into itunes on all devices. So bascily if anyone could advice me what to do or where to go to gert ppl to help me develop this that would be great.

Great idea for a new feature in genius

Hi All,
Personally the main type of music I like is all/any music in the iTunes store top 100.
A really cool feature would be if genius makes a playlist for you, and keeps it updated with a certain playlist in the iTunes store. (For example the iTunes top 100)
It would be updated to keep your playlist in the same order as the iTunes store playlist. Also, when a new song is on the store playlist, it will prompt you to purchase to keep your playlist updated.
This would be a really cool and convenient feature if you just wanted to listen to the top songs on your iPod/iPhone without the commercials of commercial radio!
And if this was a success, it could look at a 3rd party's playlist (such as America's top 40) and keep the playlist updated with songs from the iTunes store, but in the playlist order of the 3rd party. And again, it would prompt you to buy new songs if you don't own the ones on the auto playlist from the iTunes store!
I would love to see what the apple fans think of this idea!

I have a great idea for Mini's and or other Notebook's / Laptops.

I just bought an Hp Mini 210 and i love it but there are a few things that bother me.
When i am using my mini at night or in a car i cannot for the life of me see the letters i am pushing. tho i have the keyboard memorized in my head so i don't need to look at the keys to know that i am entering the right one at night the problems is i cannot see the out line of the keys and i can never see any of my key's letters numbers or function.
My solution is simple and would not draw anymore power from the battery.
what i am suggesting is that the keyboard keys on all MINI"S are Glow in the Dark. Like the stars that you buy for your rooms that you put on your ceiling. This would be simple to do. and also improve the night time use of your mini's or other 's. As i look at my keyboard now i see the white letters and numbers on the black buttons. if the white used to make the letters and or numbers and etc... were mixed with glow in the dark property's then you would have made the use of the Mini's ten times better. you could even add more. put borders around the keys just a small strip of white glow in the dark to define the keyboard.
If you implement this please offer me a free keyboard install of the glow. thanks

Great idea for the web-designers

After almost two weeks of struggle trying to fix our team workflow (after the last Photosop update) I've just found out a great solution which may solve all of our problems related with total Adobe ignorance of their customers needs.

Yes Photoshop is not designed to be a layout Application, a Web design application or an illustrator or etc . Photoshop was design for processing Photos. Over the years Photosop has had many features added. While you can do some layout and use some vector graphics. Photoshop is still an image processor if not the best one of the best. Photoshop can also ready files for other types of applications. Use a proper tool for the job at hand. Would you use Skitch to process an image? Photoshop is not Adobe's only product so I think your statement about Adobe being ignorance of the customers needs is off base. Adobe may be obnoxioust and ignore customers need in the pursuit of money.

A great idea for the Live Chat and Website!

My idea is -
Invest some time to educate the BT.com website staff to type the correct information on the website or take a lesson on the 'BT Data Protection Policy'.
I just wasted 30 minutes of life beacuse of total **bleep** up.
The BT website states this:

(TO APPLE) GREAT IDEA FOR BATTERY REPLACEMENT DILEMA!!!

The reason Apple couldnt make the battery removable is because they wanted to make it thinner, thus more portable and prettier. the tradeoff, however, is now one is stuck with one battery that cant be removed. so what happens if your somewhere and you macbook air dies and you have no plug to plug in the charger, or you dont have the charger? and you cant replace the battery. MY SOLUTION- make a "magsafe battery" that would be a little power brick that plugs into the magsafe connector! this would allow someone to have more "battery life" for a longer period of time. say a flight longer then 5 hours... so what do you think?

Well...um...sorry to burst your bubble, but a battery backup like the one you're talking about is nothing new. For my iPods and cell phones, I have one of these...worked like a charm and really came in handy for long (16 hr) plane trips abroad:

This USB charger is about 1.5 times the size of my iPod video and it works great with small devices--an iPod, a PSP, a Game Boy that has a USB jack, a cell phone, a PSP, a camera, etc. You either plug this battery backup into the wall or you plug it into your computer's USB port to charge it up, and you also have the option of plugging in another USB device to have it charge as your battery backup charges.
The company that makes this backup also makes other battery backups for laptops and such. And that's all fine and good, I think, but I'd like to see Apple make a similar mobile battery backup for the MBA that would look as thin and small as the MBA itself but would at least give users an extra 5 hours of battery life. If Apple could do better than that and give it a nice enough price so you can easily purchase a couple of them and stuff them in a bag or backpack, that'd be great.

I know this is a little early, but I have some really great ideas for ios 8. How can i submit these to apple?

some of my ideas are
1. lockscreen widgets
2. the ability to kill all running apps with just one button
3. having the ability to select your albums and songs within the pull up controll center

I have a great Idea for the new ios!

Instead of swipe to the left to get to the last screen of apps in the iphone or ipad, would it be nicer to have like the mac to have in each corner a screen for apps. So an example would be upper left conner all your education apps, lower left all the business apps, upper right all the games and lower right all the media and others! Then using the home bottom to get to the main screen. Then you still have left and right with 2 screen on each side for other things. A total of 8 screen with an easy access from the home screen. Not having to swipe all the way down to 9 to try to find witch screen have the app you need.

A Great Idea for Do Not Disturb

I wish the Do Not Disturb feature would have more than just Manual and scheduled. A manual option that has a timer. I want to nap for 2 hours, so turn on Do Not Disturb for the next two hours only. Just my 2 cents.
