Great player, want on movie finished to forward to url help needed

I am very happy to have found this perfect player.
However the only thing i need is to forward to another page when the movie is finished.
Cannot find anny documentation how to receive or send this event, mayby through flash vars.
Can someone help me out...?

Treo 700, I want to move from MissingSync back to iSync HELP

Long story short: got a replacement Palm Treo700 phone. Missing Sync doesn't like that---replacement Treo crashes all the time now. I want to go back to using my iSync. I've uninstalled MissingSync but now I can't sync with iSync, it errors out. So my Treo is relatively useless except as a phone and whatever calendar, phone book data is still in it. Any advice I will appreciate!

I agree that it's a step backward.
Yes, it's a Verizon Wireless phone, however it is clearly documented on the MarkSpace site if you sync a new phone with your "old" software without making the necessary adjustments, it will crash. I, of course, did not think that the new phone would cause this problem so I just synced it. whoops.
Now I just want to fix the problem and once I do so I will move back to MissingSync.

Want to move to from XP to Mac but need to know before hand about security.

For the past few months, I have been having some serious trouble with my system. Twice every month, my setting change and my emails passwords changed. It happens, I reinstall Windows xp home, change the passwords for administrator and user, turn off remote assistance, turn on firewall and then change my password every week which contain letters, numbers and punctuations.
But still someone is trying to sneak in. My settings still change and my passwords cracked.
I am thinking of buying the new iMac and I will be running XP or Vista on it virtually.
But before I do that I want to know what I will have to do to ensure this doesn't happens on iMac.
Should I change my user password every day, I will if I have too?
How long does it takes for a dedicated cracker to crack a say 20 letter(alphabets,numbers and punctuation) password file?
What else should I do?
I had a system crash due to some virus and lost 45GB of data that was residing on an external HD it was connected to the system at the time when the system crashed and all was lost. I want to prevent that.

If the computer you're using now has been compromised and they keep coming back you will have to reformat your hard drive and re-install your OS, that's the only way you can be absolutely certain that the backdoor trojan they installed is removed.
Once that is done, make sure you use both firewall and anti-virus software. If you're using a router, make sure it's firewall is also on.
OS X is not susceptible to Windows virus/trojan problems but it's not 100% secure (no computer is). OS X has had some exploitable problems as well, so you would still want to use its firewall as well as anti-virus software such as ClamXav, especially if you plan on running Windows on it.
My advice to you right now is to disconnect your infected computer from the Internet, reformat its hard drive, re-install the OS and make sure you set up proper security on it as I previously described.

Want to use Logic 8 Pro for Podcasting, help needed

I have a few problems. I just switched over to Logic after using ProTools for 4 years so I'm a newbie. I'm about to start a podcast soon and I want to use Logic 8 Pro to do so. Is there a book that someone can recommend me for getting familiar with Logic?
Here are the things I need to get done:
I have a mixer and I need to know how to record the sounds playing through my computer to end up in Logic. I basically want to be able to capture the audio playing on my computer and have that be on the podcast. How do I do this?
Secondly, I'm confused about what Input 1 and Input 2 are. What is the difference?

I'm not sure what you are asking here. If you want to record the whole output of your computer, I recommend using a virtual audio driver like Soundflower or Jack.

Input 1 is the input marked "1" on your audio interface (or the left channel on a stereo pair).
Input 2 is the input marked "2".
If your audio interface has more than 2 inputs, they will all show up, so you can record different inputs to different tracks if required.
You might be better off using Garageband to record your podcasts, it's simpler and has dedicated podcast functions (like adding iTunes artwork and so on).

I am listening to embedded training files on the Quick Time player (I think). They cannot be copied to protect the information. You only have the option of listening. I used to be able to click on the Q in the audio strip and it would provide a diagonal arrow and this would allow me to expand the bar to a full screen. I then had the bar which would allow me to navigate in case I wanted to listen again or in case I wanted to move forward. After my upgrade, I can no longer expand the strip to a full screen with the adjuster. Now I have not chance to take a break in listening to these audios and most of them are at least an hour long. Thanks for your help.

I want to move my itunes library to NAS drive

I want to move my entire itunes library/content from my macbook pro retina onto my new WD MyCloud NAS drive. Is this a straight forward procedure and will i retain all my playlists/artwork etc etc.
I have read quite a few (older) posts re this but am still unsure of the 'correct' procedure in order to keep all my settings. I also want to make sure that after I have done this, when i next sync my iphone to itunes I don't want to 'lose' everything from my iphone.
Any definitive help would be greatly appreciated.

Copy the entire iTunes folder to the other drive. Start iTunes while holding down the option/alt key and select the library.itl file in the copied folder.
I see not infrequent posts here from people who have used a NAS with iTunes. Things can go wrong. NAS adds another layer of communication between iTunes and its files and things do not always go well. Make sure you always have a backup of all your iTunes files on a separate drive because I can personally attest I and others have spent many hours on this forum trying to restore people's libraries on NAS. I am sure it goes well for some (the people who never need post here) but I see many more posts from people with libraries on NAS than regular external drives.

Want to move photos to external hard drive

Here is my situation.
I have used iPhoto before abd gave more than one iphoto library on my hard drive. I want to move all of my pictures onto an external drive so I have them all in one place. I then want to delete all the photos on my hard drive so I can free up space.
How can I do this? How cam I get all pictures on iMac and another connected external drive to this new external drive which is empty of any files right now. After which I want to delete all the photos on mac PC in order to free up space.

you can move your library to the external drive - Moving the iPhoto library is safe and simple - quit iPhoto and drag the iPhoto library intact as a single entity to the external drive - depress the option key and launch iPhoto using the "select library" option to point to the new location on the external drive - fully test it and then trash the old library on the internal drive (test one more time prior to emptying the trash)
And be sure that the External drive is formatted Mac OS extended (journaled) (iPhoto does not work with drives with other formats) and that it is always available prior to launching iPhoto
And backup soon and often - having your iPhoto library on an external drive is not a backup and if you are using Time Machine you need to check and be sure that TM is backing up your external drive
Once you have done this all photos you import will go to the iPhoto library on the EHD so any photos that are not in an iPhoto library are simply imported to iPhoto
If you have photos in multiple iPhoto libraries then iPhoto Library Manager - http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/ - is the best and easiest solution for merging libraries and moving photos between libraries

Hi,
To change your password you will need to open System Preferences, then open Users & Groups, click on Change Password. Change your password to a temporary one, then when you have finished you do the same procedure to change it back, by typing in the temp password then leaving the new password blank. Hope this helps.

Want to move library to the internal HD

Hi, I know this is probably easy, but my search didnt turn up anything.
My old Mac didnt have enough room on its HD to store my iTunes library, so I bought an external HD and that is where my library currently resides. I now have a new iMac and do have enough room (the external doesn't now) and my 9 year old external seems to be dying.
I transferred my music file to my internal HD and need to know how to get iTunes to recognize the music/data is there now.

Hi Robert,
Just asked the same question recently here and got great support so thought I'd pass it along.
All you have to do is select the project with the masters you want to move and then go to File > Relocate Masters for This Project. I did not try moving masters in multiple projects simultaneously so do not know if you can or not.
You can move the masters to where ever you want and even make subfolders. Be sure to check that the drop down option says masters for this project as a couple times I ended up only moving a single image for some reason.

Why do I get an error just before a rented movie finishes downloading?

I rented a movie on my Mac, with the intention to then transfer it to my ipad 3 and watch it there. When I transfered it to the ipad, somehow something happened and it dissapear. I have been trying to re-download it whithout success because just before it finishes, and error appears.
Anyone has any solutions?

The error goes: err = 5102.
I looked at other posts and it seems people are trying to delete the file complitely. It is not my case, I just want it to finish download so I can watch it on my mac or transfer it to the ipad.
As you can see in the photo its supposed to have downloaded complitely.

I have a TB profile on USB stick and 2 or 3 times happen that I moved
accidentally one diretory onto another and run out of space.
Thunderbird TB crushed and lost lot of emails.
There shall be a popup asking: ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO MOVE DIR1 to DIR2
preventing to do that action automatically as it is unstoppable and unreversable
and in case of low disk space leads to DB corruption.

Once you face the problem (don't now how big your DB is, mine 20GB, 9 years) then maybe you change your mind. How many times a day you reorganize your folders? Have your moved a folder bigger then 2 or 3 GB by click?

Move back and forward through Quiz questions...

I need to be able to let individuals move back and forward through quiz questions after they have answered them without the need to re-answer the question.

I should have been a bit more specific and provided an example...
Question 1 and 2 are answered correctly and feedback box is shown each time - they then get stuck on question 3 so need to use the back button to go back through past the answered questions to the main information screens to find the answer and then need to use the forward navigation button to move back to the third question this will result in them moving through question 1 and 2 however we do not want them to answer these again.
The individual must answer every question correctly to pass the course.
