greater than symbol inserted at bottom of php pages in all pages

I've coded for years and never seen this. At the bottom of all of my pages, no matter what I do, the following gets added in
"<html>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>" obviously these symbols show up and make all my webpages look awful. I delete, save, and upload, and in less than ten minutes, they are there and on my website too. What is happening?????

Does this appear when you preview your local copy, (you do have a local copy, and are not working directly with your servers copy)?
If your local copy is O/K, then it may be that your server has been infected with a virus, and this is inserting the code. A virus that added code similar to that you are describing, has been floating around the web for years now.
If your local copy has the problem then check your computer for viruses.

Are you trying to add text? Did you check the Style tab and what font is set there? some fonts don't have certain characters.

In the Calculate event of the Total field, write the following with Java Script as language.

About Page View All pages, Symbols vs X,Y axis

Hi,
I click on View=>Page view=>All pages
PowerDesigner display : 33 x 25 cells
a) Can we obtain with mouse mouvement values for X and Y axis when we go on Page View ?
b) Do you know in which form I can get symbols X,Y axis position ?
I know I can do a vb script to obtain these values and add extended attributes. I would know if X,Y axis position is already available in a symbol properties form ?
c) Do you know if PowerDesigner display in a specific form (Diagram, Model Options, etc.) : upper right, upper left, lower right, lower left - In fact dimensions of All Pages view ?
d) Can I add / reduce the number of cells ? from 33 x 25 to 20 x 20 ?

Buttons: If you used the built-in command "Go to page view", make sure the Zoom level setting is set to Inherit Zoom. That would preserve the current zoom level when the button is clicked.
Printing: More or less... The best you can do is place a white text box over these instructions and set its visibility to "Hidden, but printable", so when the file is printed the box will cover the instructions, preventing them from printing. Another option is to use a "Visible, but doesn't print" text box to show the actual instruction text.

GREATER THAN symbol appearing as &gt ; in SQL*Plus

OS : RHEL 5.4
We are a Software vedor firm.We have sent our SQL files to our client to execute. But the codes for various procedures and functions were failing
because, in their SQL*Plus session (in Putty) the LESS THAN character < was appearing as &lt ; and GREATER THAN character > was appearing as &gt ;
In the original code which we had sent to them has no problems with > or < characters.
Original code

I checked with my client. They have put our scripts in Collabnet SVN version control and the implementor DBA will be provided the http URL .
Apparently SVN is accessed using http protocol and yes you are right it is opened through a browser by typing an URL like below
http://10.80.16.214:79839/svn/brcf/DBfiles/2012/WMHReleasel8/hrtb_pkt_wave.sqlFor most of the end users , the GREATER THAN character appears as > without any issues . For some users it appears as &gt ; . One potential cause is the difference in Internet Explorer version. They are currently looking into this.

How did you manage to get &gt_; (without the underscore) printed ? When I tried it the forums editor was converting it to > . This is why I placed a space/underscore between t and semi colon. Is there some escape character ?

ROWNUM with Greater than symbol..!

Can any one explain why ">" greater than operator not working with ROWNUM.
FOR EXAMPLE:
SELECT * FROM EMP where rownum > 2;
But the less than operator is working.
SELECT * FROM EMP where rownum < 2;
Please clarify this.

This value, starting with 1, is being attached to every record which satisfy the where clause condition. Hence, for the first record to be assigned a rownum, the where clause must consider rownum=1 as a valid condition.

select * from emp
where rownum <=3;This query will display the first 3 fetched (not sorted) records from the emp table.

Inserting one page after ALL pages in a doc

Hi all,
I have multiple documents that I need printed double-sided at a shop. Originally, it was supposed to be single-sided. Now, it needs to be double sided but the back side is the same on every page. So, I am trying to insert a document B (1 page) after every page in document A (many pages) so it is new the back side.
Is there a way to do this automatically? One PDF is 184 pages and inserting it one at a time in too time consuming.

Type tool quotation marks display like greater-than symbols

I'm having trouble with getting quotation marks to display correctly, they look like 2 stacked >> symbols. They change slightly depending on what font I'm using, but they all ride at the base of the text. I cannot acheive normal looking curly or staight quotes at all. I have tried switching smart quotes on and off in the preferences, restarting, etc. I've noticed this problem in the past, but I thought it was the font I was using. The same thing happens with Times New Roman. I'm running an up to date version of PSextended CS5, 64bit on win 7 64. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Not sure if this is where you looked, but check the overall Windows settings as follows:
Click Start and type Language in the search box. When Region and Language comes up, click it.
Look through all the tabs to ensure everything's set as expected.
Outside of finding something unexpected in there, it's never a bad idea to try resetting the Character tool, or even the Photoshop overall preferences. To reset the Type Tool, select the T tool, then right-click in the T tool icon in the options area:

"Greater than" symbol ( ) not working in Leopard

I can't input the > symbol on my keyboard. I have a Core 2 Duo MacBook with Leopard. This symbol should come by shift+< but it's not. I reseted all the operating system keyboard shortcuts but no luck. Any suggestions?

If a third party application has mapped its own keyboard shortcuts, I do not know of any universal way to reset those.
What you might consider doing is loading up Activity Monitor and killing off any other applications running aside from the normal operating system components and see if you can use the shortcut keys normally at that point.

Greater than or equal symbol not working

Hi,
I cannot get the "greater than or equal to" symbol to display properly. I can get the less than or equal symbol to display by typing Ctrl+q #, and then formatting it as Symbol font.
According to the Character_Sets.pdf FrameMaker Online reference, the greaterequal symbol is Ctrl+q 3, but when I format it as Symbol, FrameMaker displays a box (which looks to me to be a non-printing character).
Any suggestions on how I get a "greater than or equal to" symbol to display?

Advantages:
Avoid frequent arcane typing: you only need to look up the special character entry sequence once per document (if that - we keep these var defs in a separate catalog for ease of application).
Isolates special char encodings for dealing with eventual replacement by native Unicode glyphs and/or ports to platforms lacking legacy Symbol overlay font
Isolates special char renderings for possible changes to font with native >= glyph
Assures text inserted adjacent to symbol will be in native paragraph font, and not Symbol.
Prevents spell checker from needlessly complaining.
Is portable between FM platforms and releases, although \xb3 does appear as Š (cap s caron above) in Windows dialogs.
Disadvantages:
If you apply a Default ¶ Font to the para, the variable is no longer in Symbol font (but this is always the case for variables that use alternate fonts). You have to re-select the var (which may be hard to even see), and re-insert it.
If you highlight the entire para, or just the text containing the var, and apply a new PgfTag, the variable likewise gets de-fonted. It has ever been thus.
You have to search by Variable, and not by special character.
So what do we suppose made this topic so popular that it's got over 1000 Views so far?
I tried these instructions with great anticipation, but alas, it did not work for me.
Maybe it works differently on FrameMaker 9. I even tried making a PDF to see if it just rendered differently on the screen, since you mentioned the display in Windows dialog boxes (even though I was just in the main flow).

go down 11 windows (of 10 rows each) and it is on bottom row
You should be able to type as Alt+8805 on the Numeric keypad (not number row)
or on laptop with NumLock off as Fn+Alt+8805
but that is not working for me and I verified that hex(x2265) and decimal (8805)
values are equivalent.
