Green bars when Mercury GPU is enabled.

I have problems with Mercury Engine in my CS5. On some clips there are strange bars on the left side - as below.
Fresh Windows 7/64, latest drivers for EVGA 570 (i put it on the list).
Clip is created with AE (avi with v210) and then imported into Premiere.
What is more strange - this problem is only on some of the clips, not on all of them.
Could it be problem with uncompatible graphic card? Codec? How to solve it?

When I export from AE - I can choose "format avi" and "no codec" - then everything is fine.
but I can't choose "no codec" in Premiere - when I choose "uncompressed microsoft avi" - and export - I have those green bars
If I choose "v210" in AE - I have also green bars.
So it is "v210 codec" and Mercury Engine problem.
Is there a way to export to uncompressed format from Premiere without v210? or why Premiere can't handle it?

Disable Mercury GPU to avoid crashing
Hi,
I just upgraded Première to CC and installed Prelude CC.
Première crashes whenever I try to display a H264 clip (from Canon 70D), when I have Mercury GPU acceleration enabled. When I disable it, all it fine.
Prelude just crashes when I try to display a clip, because I can't find a way to disable GPU acceleration.
--> Is there a way to disable GPU acceleration in Prelude?
--> Is this a known Mercury incompatibility with my OS/card that will be solved soon?
I'm on a iMac with 10.8.52 7", quad core i7, 16Gb ram, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2048 MB.

For #1, Prelude already had the same feature with Premiere Pro in the coming release - enable/disable GPU acceleration.
For #2, I have not seen this issue but I would try this on my test machine to see what will happen, later I will give you an update about this.

MY iPad mini when open keeps clicking and a green bar keeps moving around the screen highlighting things, how do I stop it?

As I record, it shows the green bars; however, when I play the recording it does not play my voice over at all nor show the green bars. I was mid-way through my project when this problem occured. HELP!!!!
As far as I can see, it's random. Everything. Nothing makes any sense!
A the moment, the iPhone is playing music with the SIM card, but without anything plugged into it, but it's occasionally fading in and out.
Oh, and I doubt this is related, but about two months ago the iPhone failed to show that the battery was draining - it was stuck at 100%. This went on for a few days, it wouldn't even warn me at the 20% mark, it would just shut off. This happened for at least three full charges - I remember at one point it suddenly started working again at about the 70% mark, I'm not sure if it was alright after that or if it went glitchy on the next charge... but in any case, the problem mysteriously never reappeared after those few days.

Resolution loss in multicam when GPU acceleration enabled
Hello all,
Strange multicam problem here. I know others besides me have struggled with multicam playback resolution, but at least on the surface, this particular problem seems counter-intuitive.
When I enable GPU acceleration (I have a GTX 650 Ti BOOST), playback resolution is decreased in the multi-cam monitor. With CS5.5, this was extremely noticeable; now in CC, it's less apparent, but still detectable. The footage will blur slightly when playback begins, and then sharpen again when paused. If I disable GPU acceleration, playback resolution in the multicam-monitor is the same as the paused resolution.
Is this a bug, or something that should be expected? I can live with this, but it'd be nice not to have to disable GPU acceleration for multi-cam, and then re-enable it for other tasks.
Thanks in advance.Update: At least in some cases, I can see that the paused image is sharper with GPU acceleration enabled than the paused image without it. So the playback resolutions may well be the same with or without GPU, and all I'm seeing is a greater difference between playback and paused during GPU acceleration. Also, there may in fact be a drop during playback resolution in software only mode, albeit less noticeable.
(As mentioned though, this was certainly an issue I experienced in 5.5; don't know if anyone else has experienced something similar.)
My new question would be, is it possible with the right hardware to guarantee full resolution playback in multi-cam? I'm currently editing 4 cameras: 2 5DMIIIs, a GH2, and a Sony NX5U. Editing system is comprised of an i7 4770K overclocked to 4.2GHz, 16GB RAM, GTX 650 Ti Boost, and three HDDs: an SSD for OS and Programs, a 7200 for media and projects, and another 7200 for pagefile, previews, and media cache. Would creating a RAID 0 for the media files help at all in this case? Or is the drop in resolution I experience something I likely won't be able to change? -
Adobe cloud setup downloaded off the internet just fine but when i open it gets stuck at "initializing installer" and the green bar doesnt move. How do i fix this so it installs?

Green bar on video when exporting to PDF
Hello,
I am building an interacative PDF in InDesign, and linking videos from URLs. I edited the video in PremierePro, and exported to H.264 format with "Apple TV, iPad, iPhone 3G and newer - 360p Widescreen 23.976" preset.
The video looks good on my desktop. I then Place From URL in InDesign and it looks good in InDesign SWF Preview window. However, when I export, there is a circular discoloration in the middle of the video and a thick green horizontal bar at the bottom of the screen.
Images are attached of my PremierePro export settings and green bar/discoloration. Any thoughts on what I can do to fix this?
(Note: I tried embedding video directly, instead of link, and that does not solve it).

I have a new ipad, it says I am connected to the internet but will not work. When I attempt to go to a web sight the green bar moves 1/2 inch and nothing.
I have a used linksys router that I got from work. I tried connecting with a older ipad and every thing works correctly. any ideas?Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

I have a iPad Air, I was using Dropbox downloading photos and then a light green bar the full length of my screen about an inch wide, started to scan left to right over and over again until I tap out of it to another app??? Now every time I tap on a picture this green bar scanning thing starts again left to right!!!

Whenever I export a video in the most recent FCP, using File>Share>Youtube
the compressed video file has a green bar on the right side of the frame.
I have exported 4x3 and 16x9 and both have the green line.

I shoot in HD but downconvert on the fly from my Sony FX1 so the majority of my footage is 720 by 480.I am having a similar issue. I have run across the green line a couple of times while exporting. Most recently I exported an H.264 file from Compressor and it looked fine. After it went through Facebook's compression, the green line came. It looks like it is only one pixel wide and is on the far right side. Anyone have any idea why?

In the current Firefox 34 release there is a new "one-off" search bar.
This search bar doesn't show the name of the search engine and a logo.
You can type one letter to make a drop-down list appear where you can see suggestions and see the used search engine and that also has bar at the bottom where you can select other search engines that are enabled via the Search tab in Options/Preferences.
You can use the Tab key to select one of the other available search engines and press the Enter key to search with the selected search engine.
