Green flashing on rendered product.

Whenever I render out a clip, with or without affect the final product comes out with this green flash (like a light switch going on and off) throughout the whole video. How can i fix this?

Here is a video example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Epf0zlh3JOI&feature=youtu.be
With these specifications:
Frame size: 1920 x 1080, Kodekar: AAC, H.264, Video field dominance: Progressive, Colorprofile: HD (1-1-1),
Audio channel count: 2, Audio sample rate: 48 kHz
I don't know if this is the information you want, if not then I need help to find it aswell.

  • Green flashes when rendering in Premiere CC 2014

    Hi there,
    I'm an in-house cameraman and editor for a financial business in London. I'm using the latest Macbook Pro Retina with 16gb ram, NVidia 750 graphics card. I've been using the same method for editing for past two years but have only just started editing with the very latest 2014 version of Premiere cloud. I'm mixing PM-100 and Sony EX1 footage which i've done many times before. However i've spend hours trying to get rid of green flashes that have started to appear on the renders.
    These seem consistent with using the PMW-100 as the EX1 footage seems ok. I can replace the error clips with something else but then the render error moves to another part of the rendering.
    These flashes can't be seen in playback within the editor, only after rendering.
    I'm trying to work out if its the camera, camera drives, Macbook Pro Retina or Premiere.
    Can anyone help shed light on this?
    Andy

    I was having the same problem, and couldn't find a fix. It was also screwing up certain effects, particularly warp stabilizer every time I rendered or exported. Finally, I tried changing the renderer from Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (Open CL) to Mercury Playback Engine Software Only, and it worked like a charm. Go to File -> Project Settings -> General and select the renderer from the dropdown menu. Make sure to also change the renderer when you export. Using Adobe Media Encoder, be sure to select "Mercury Playback Engine Software Only" in the dropdown menu next to "Renderer" before you export.
    This has completely eliminated the problem for me.

  • Green flashing during playback

    During playback I am experiencing a green flash after rendering. This will go away if I close and reopen final cut. Has anyone experienced this, and can anyone confirm that if I continue to render this and export if it will appear on the final product?
    Thank you

    Green screen is almost ALWAYS caused by either outdated or corrupted video drivers (even if they're fully up to date, they can be corrupted).
    Download the drivers from the manufacturer site to make sure they're in good repair.

  • Media Encoder CS4 problem with h.264 QuickTime- Green flashes

    I have been using Premiere/Media Encoder CS4 on both a Mac and PC. I am having problems encoding using h.264 HD (720p) settings. These are the problems I have had:
    When I encode on both platforms (using many different settings) the video plays back fine on the latest version of QuickTime on the Mac.
    On the PC using the latest version of QuickTime the exact same video stutters and flashes green.
    When I downgrade my version of QT on my PC to 7.4.5 the video plays fine.
    With the downgraded version of QT and then encode the video again using the same settings. The video has the same mentioned problem on ANY PC with the latest version of QT.
    I would like to say that this is just a QT problem but when I encode the videos using someone elses computer with other software (Sorenson Squeeze) using the exact same settings the video works fine on all platforms.
    I need to distribute these videos online so I have no control over what version of QT people will be using to view the video so it is not enough just to say use the older version of QT.
    Thanks in advance for help.

    There have been several instances, such as you describe, on the forum lately. Do not recall any exact resolutions though. I'd seach for "green flashes," as that exact phrase has been used in many.
    On the PC using the latest version of QuickTime the exact same video stutters and flashes green.
    Is this with QT 7.6.2? Many had major issues with the QT 7.4.x versions and Adobe software. The QT 7.5.5 version seemed to fix most of those, but another user was having issues with it very recently, and there have been some, who have also had issues.
    It seems that QT will work with Adobe products for a bit, and then the next upgrade, or two, will fritz up the whole works.
    Wish this was not such a "moving target."
    Good luck,
    Hunt

  • Green Flashes on Preview screen and final produc when i add certain effects

    When i add an effect, such as speed up a video clip, when it is rendered i get green flashes when i preview it and when it is fully rendered. Can anyone explain this, as it makes for very poor viewing.
    thanks

    Download MPEGstreamclip (I gave you the link in my previous post), it is free.
    Then you'll need to export the clips as QT movie > ProRes or DV.
    Read this useful tutorial:

    Instructions apply to your case (dealing with h.264) too.

  • GLC: Recorded video has red and green flashes

    I tried Googling for a solution but GLC appears to be such an obscure program that none of the results are even related
    I finally got GLC working mostly correctly on Arch64. It records my game in Wine, but when I play back the video it has a red or green "flash" every few seconds that is really disruptive. I know glc-capture has a bunch of options, but I'm not sure what most of them do so I was hoping somebody knew how to fix this problem without me trying different combinations of options until something hopefully works.

    Alright I've done some more playing around with it but I don't think I'm any closer to a solution.
    I've tried pretty much every command line switch to GLC that I think could have any effect at all but nothing changes. The game in question I'm trying to record is EVE Online. The intensity of the flashes seems to vary throughout the recording, here's what I can gather:
    - No flashes at all during the login screen (which does have a bunch of 3D rendering, it's not just a flat text box or anything)
    - Moderate flashes when flying in space, primarily when I try to pan the camera
    - Video goes to complete garbage when I dock in a station. Not a single frame from inside the station is output to the video, it just loops the last in-space frames with lots of colors and other garbage obscuring the screen
    I can upload a video if anyone thinks it would help. I'd really like to get this working, GLC appears to be the only program under Linux that can be used to record games. It seems like I'm so close to a solution yet so far away.

  • Adobe Media Encoder CS4 H.264 iPod video format green flashes in Quicktime

    Quicktime 7.3.1 apparently shows no flashes but 7.4.5, 7.5.5 and 7.6 all show green flashes on videos encoded in AME CS4 H.264 iPod video small.
    No other quicktime versions tested.
    Videos play fine in VLC Player and Adobe Media Player.
    Videos encoded with the latest MediaCoder sourceforge application play fine in Quicktime.
    Clearly something's wrong with the way Adobe exports and the way quicktime 7.3+ reads H.264 videos.

    I think it may be the QuickTime Player issue and not Adobe Media Encoder. Its seems to play find in other players like Adobe Media Player and Windows Media Player after installing Windows Essentials Media Codec Pack 2.2c. (http://download.cnet.com/Windows-Essentials-Media-Codec-Pack/3000-2140_4-1066270 9.html). Haven't check to see if it plays correctly on my i-Touch. Not all videos I encode from .AVI to .MP4 using the i-Pod small preset seem to have this issue.

  • Flash not rendering correctly in IE using Spry and SWFObject.

    Hi,
    Tools that I'm using (Flash, Spry and SWFObject)
    I just finished converting portions of the image gallery to a
    video gallery using FLV Files.
    It works great in FireFox and Opera, I guess all mozilla
    based browsers.
    Now my problem is that I pass the Path variable to Flash for
    it to load the FLV file using SWFObject.
    Code:
    <div spry:detailregion="dsVideos"
    class="AccordionPanelContent">
    <div id="flashcontent"> You need to upgrade your Flash
    Player. </div>
    <script type="text/javascript">
    // <![CDATA[
    var so = new SWFObject("VideoPlayer.swf", "videoplayer",
    "427", "288", "8", "#161616");
    so.addVariable("video", "{@path}");
    so.write("flashcontent");
    // ]]>
    </script>
    </div>
    The FLV files won't load at all in IE meaning the variable is
    not going thru when Flash is rendered for a second time.
    So I added another variable just to see Flash reaction once
    the page loaded for the first time.
    Code:
    so.addVariable("Variable1", "I Love This Bug!");
    I added Variable1 to the Flash Movie as a textbox and It
    loads in a split second for the first render but when Spry loads it
    datasets and renders the region where Flash resides the variable
    doesnt go thru and Flash gets a undefined variable.
    When Spry renders that region the video variable is not going
    thru and no video is shown. :(
    Any suggestion?

    Don -
    Have you had any success here? I've been trying to get any
    kind of Flash
    to load properly in IE in a spry:region (or :detailregion),
    and have
    failed entirely.
    I added spry:state="ready" to the div with the Flash movie,
    but no fix.
    I've tested with both IE 6 and IE 7 beta, and with FP 8 and
    FP 9.
    I have a few test pages (everything works great in FireFox):
    - www.imagicdigital.com/portfolios/video_state7.html
    (uses SWFObject to write the movie, with spry info as
    FlashVars)
    IE: Flash movie is hidden. No FlashVars are passed.
    - www.imagicdigital.com/portfolios/video_state7_noso.html
    (same page as above, but with the standard Object/Embed tags,
    no SWFObject)
    IE: Flash movie is hidden. No FlashVars are passed.
    - www.imagicdigital.com/portfolios/video_state7a_noso.html
    (same page as above but with hardcoded FlashVars)
    IE: Flash movie is hidden. No FlashVars are passed.
    - www.imagicdigital.com/portfolios/video_state7b_noso.html
    (a Flash movie with no FlashVars at all)
    IE: Flash movie is hidden.
    - www.imagicdigital.com/portfolios/video_state7c_noso.html
    (same as 7a but with spry:region removed from the flash div)
    IE: Works perfectly. Flash movie shows up, FlashVars are
    passed.
    I noticed a few things:
    - In IE, the spry:debug generated markup shows FlashVars="",
    empty.
    - I don't see an innerHTML fix call for the FlashVideo div,
    even if I
    make it into a spry:region instead of detailregion. Can this
    help omehow?
    - In IE 7, if I right-click where my flash movie is supposed
    to show up,
    it does become visible (with no FlashVars). However, IE often
    crashes
    after that, either right away or on window close. The error
    shown in
    the alert is "Out of Memory at Line 56". This is both with
    and without
    passing FlashVars.
    NOTE: This error was just recently discussed on the SWFObject
    mailing
    list. Geoff Stearns found a sort of bug in FP 9 that was also
    causing
    this same error when 2 Flash movies were embedded with
    SWFObject and
    each making different ExternalInterface calls. He fixed it by
    removing
    the function written by Flash when it loads called
    "__flash_unloadHandler()". Link to the relevant discussion
    thread:
    http://lists.deconcept.com/htdig.cgi/swfobject-deconcept.com/2006-July/000795.html
    It would be great (crucial, I think) to get Spry to work with
    SWFs. Any
    ideas or progress? Thanks in advance.

  • I'm getting green flashes when I compress my mpeg2 files....

    Does anyone know why I'm getting green flashes when I compress my movie for DVD Studio Pro? It plays (relatively) fine in FCP, but when I compress it (using Compressor) for DVD output I got a movie full of green flashes.
    It's really annoying and I can't figure it out. I've had nothing but problems with FCP.

  • Flash content renders above everything else

    This is something that has been happening since even way before I upgraded to Safari 5. Every page that has any flash content renders the flash on top of everything else.
    Example: a site with a dropdown menu and a large content slider made with flash, the flash covers the dropdown menu making it impossible to click the links. Or heres an example that I have a screenshot of:
    http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/5820/flashk.png
    Here the flash covers only part of the content but its annoying especially on sites built with large flash areas. Is there a fix for this? This has been happening for as long as I can remember.

    Honestly I cannot find any other sites, I know there are many out there I just cant remember the name. Regardless this happens no matter what, for some reason my Safari renders Flash the top layer in ANY instance. I can try to explain another site I remember distinctly: The site had a header much like the Apple site here except that the menu was a CSS dropdown menu. Right below the menu was a sort of "headlines/highlights" section which spanned the full width of the webpage design and it was build purely with flash. Now, every time you hover over one of the menu items they drop down, right below the flash so I couldn't read the links or even click them because Flash was stacked on top.
    Another example I can think of is sites that use a javascript/jquery image viewer where you'd click a thumbnail and it would pop it up full size (like Gizmodo does with their galleries). Now if there is a banner ad on the side and I click an image it will come up full size but it doesn't cover the whole page like it should, it covers everything but the flash.

  • What are these green flashes in Premiere Elements 7?

    I am getting green flashes on my video in PE7.  These green flashes are not there when I view the video using Windows Media Player.  The green covers the entire picture, and then goes away over the course of less than a second in most cases.  I burned the video to a DVD and played in a DVD player to see if it was only while in PE7, but they were burned to the disc that way as well.  If you need any other information to help, please ask.
    Thank you!

    A lot depends on what kind of camcorder your video came from and how you got it into your computer -- and which settings you selected when you set up your Premiere Elements project.
