Green flashing re-charge status while using (Denki) power adaptor

Ipod 30Gb Video 5G is showing a green flashing re-charge status when connected to a power adaptor.
Is this natural, or am I frying my ipod?
Cannot find any such description in the manual.
Flash is green/white, and not green/amber as described elsewhere, while showing the lightening bolt.

I plugged the adaptor in the wall, connected my usb line , plugged in my ipod and there is no charging light to indicated if the ipod is charging. YES! There certainly should... I have an older version Apple Power Adapter (for the iPod Photo) and it lights up my Shuffle's status light.

Charge Thunderbolt while using Kickstand...

I read about a solution work around for not being able to charge device while using kickstand because the plug is on the bottom, check this out because it looks like the new Photon 4G kickstand solutions works for the Thunderbolt also....

Not trying to be adversarial, but that is about the Motorola Proton and I'm not sure how that pertains to the Thunderbolt. I have never been able to get my TBolt kickstand to support the phone with the charging port at the top. I use the Verizon extended battery and have the Seidio surface case for it. It has it's own built in kickstand that does support it in landscape with the charging port at the top, allowing me to charge the phone while in the landscape position.
Did I miss something?

Close MacBook Pro while using MDP- HDMI adaptor ?

I have the Moshi MDP-HDMI adaptor. It works very well and transports audio well too.
I just want to know if it is possible to close the lid of the MacBook Pro while using MDP->HDMI adaptor ? (as in stopping it from going into sleep mode) So that it can be stowed neatly under the display unit when watching movies/presentations etc. rather than the lid having to be open a couple of inches...

That can be done but there are conditions that must be met. For example, the MBP needs to be plugged into its power adapter. And then an external keyboard and mouse are needed. See here:

When using the power adaptor should I take out the battery?
The reason why I ask this is that I use to have a Sony laptop running Windows 2000 and had continual problems with the battery not holding its charge. I was eventually told by the Sony technicians that once the battery was fully charged I should remove it from the laptop whilst running from the mains.

Possible to charge iPod while using Video out option?

I've read that you can use video out while maintaining its charge by simply 'ejecting' the iPod from Windows (but maintaining the physical cable connection).
But what about using a generic wall charger? Such as this one:

using the wall charger does not put up the "do not disconnect" screen. thats only wen its connected to a computer. so yes u can keep ur ipod on charge while using the video out.

I own a pink creative zen micro 5gig MP3 player. when i bought it, a special edition USB.2.0 power adaptor came with it, which is exclusi've to the 5gig zen micro mp3 players. this adaptor plugs into the wall, and charges the player, meaning i can charge my player anywhere without a computer.
well, now its stopped working. the charge just does not go through to the player, and i know it is because of a problem with the adaptor and not the player because the player still works when i connect it to a computer.
this is seriously irritating beacuse for some reason the player takes a huge amount of time to charge using my computer (as i write this it has been charging for almost and hour and the little charge level indicator in the corner of the screen has not changed from "completely empty")
what could be causing this and how do i fix it's

It's not needed, at least you need to update to one of the later firmwares. I suggest using the ..0 firmware, but you want to charge your battery up a bit first before trying to update.

I'm not sure what's up with your player or adapter. An adapter could fail but it's very rare. If you have a voltage meter you can check the outputs from the first and fourth pin, which should be 5V. Be careful though.
Leaving the adapter plugged in won't cause any issue to it, other than wasting a little electricity.

Does this hold true for old FireWire power adapters for old iPods as well? I have an iPod Nano (3Gen), along with the USB cable that was included when purchased, but no power adapter was included. I'd really like to use an old FireWire cable and adapter from an older iPod model with this new Nano, so I can charge it when I'm away from my computer. Hi. I am taking my nano 3 to Italy and England and hope to charge it with the Belkin rotating power adaptor that allows me to charge by plugging into the house power here in the States. I know that I need to get adaptors for the outlets, but do I also need to get a converter? The Belkin Power Adapter does have 100-240V Input and 50-60HZ AC. I'm getting conflicting info.

Charge IPad while using the Adapter

Hi, is there a way to charge the IPad and at the same time using the VGA adapter to connect it to the overhead projector? Like a switch or a double adapter...dunno... Thanks everybody

The VGA adapter has a lightning plug on one end which goes into your iPad, and a VGA port as well as a lightning port on the other end. You can plug the lightning to USB cable that came with your iPad into that port to charge it.

As I understand the HDMI to VGA adapters, they are sending a signal to the device's video chip/card to change from the default digital signal to an analog signal. I have my doubts about this working if you piggyback the two together.

Ti 500 freezes while using battery power

My ti 500 freezes during start up whenever I start it up using the battery. If i start it up plugged in it works just fine, it will freeze once i go to battery power. I have replaced the battery device that plugs into the logic board. but the problem is still there. I recently replaced the screen taken from another ti 500. Any ideas what might be wrong? I've had this happen with an old G3 Wallstreet 233 Powerbook some years back (hoping my memory is accurate) - - I think it had to do with the battery capacity wearing down with charge cycles - - I'm guessing your battery is at least 2.5-3 years old.
You might try calibrating your battery (battery-only full discharge to shut-down, then powering up on AC to full charge), I've heard some folks get more battery capacity, at least for a while. Good luck!

MacBook Shuts off While Using Battery Power

But whenever I try to just run the MacBook on battery power, it shuts off within
1-3 minutes of use (Mainly using Safari).
I tried to reset the SMC, and changing the battery to a new one, but the problem
still persists.

Never mind with the question...
My dad mixed up the batteries and put the old battery back in the
old one, and the new battery stuck in the new one... =P
So, I tried switching the batteries by myself, and guess what?
I'm using the new battery right now - just on battery power!
(And it's not shutting off! =) )
