Green pixels everywhere on my iPhone 4S.

There are green pixels all over my screen (not dead pixels, these move with images). At first it was just whenever I opened the camera but now it's all over the phone, I'm noticing more on where there should be shadows or shading. It's really irritating as I can't really see images or even videos and it just seems to be getting worse. This phone is barely two months old and has had no significant damage. Is there anything I can do to fix this issue?

Flickering Green pixels everywhere!

I have a dual monitor set-up and on the main monitor I use the "Earth" desktop picture and two days ago I thought, "cool, my mac knows when it's Christmas and it's put twinkling green stars all over my screen..".
Then I realized that those twinkling stars are green pixels flickering everywhere. At first I thought it was my LG WTQ226 monitor going on the fritz. So I tried it on another Mac and no stars. Then I realized that I have green pixels on the second monitor, an old NEC vga that still works perfectly. Hmmm... this is weird! Some, not all, of the stars disappear when I pass my cursor over them, but they come back in random clusters in other spots.
Other things I tried:
-Booting from a cloned version of Leopard 10.52
-Resetting SMC
-Swapping DVI cables
Finally I phoned Apple and asked them to send me another HD 2600XT video card to test out.
Anyone have the same issue? Was it the video card?

The problems with the GF7300 started with the 10.5.2 updates.
I dont know what exactly goes in trouble, but with the 10.5.5 update
my screen freezs very often.
I checked the things users told here in the forum
-clean install (normal - cobo - TM restore)
-fresh install with fresh user
-pram reset
-clean the comp inside
- etc
nothing works.
in "Safe Boot" everything is going normal.
But then i cant use the GL features.
Its not clear what exactly the problem is.
Is it the Firmware - or bad driver - or a core grafic problem?
after all and 3weeks of testing, i ordered the ati because no support from apple,
no applecare an not time to wait.
i hope in future the support will be better.
The HD2600 is fast as the 7300 an works very silent with the fan.

Green screen upon startup and green pixels afterwards

Last night I switched from the dining room table to the bedroom. When I turned on my laptop in the bedroom (about 10 minutes after moving) it started up by flashing with a black then green screen and would not load. I was able to finally get it to load but when it first starts up it is a green screen that looks like it has diagonal wavy lines with the verbiage in the lower left for pressing esc for boot setup. Once it loads it has green pixels everywhere and when I open control panel where the white is normally, there is purple color. I did notice that a Windows update happened. I have tried to do a system restore but it doesnt get ride of it. I do have pictures but not sure how to post them from my phone.

Late 2008 MacBook Pro 17" frozen with pink and green pixels

Hi all,
Hope someone can point me in the right direction with my Macbook Pro problem. I have a late 2008 version of the 17" MacBook Pro. I've been using it today and it's been completely fine. that was up until I was uploading my recent holiday photos to iPhoto. I left it to upload and came to check on it after 5 minutes. I found the program had frozen and pink and green pixels were spotted all over the screen.
I turned the laptop off by the power button. When I started her up again I found the white screen with the pink and green pixels everywhere and apple logo appear. It starting booting and then just stopped. the screen froze and nothing was working. I've tried booting up in safe mode and again it just freezes.
Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated as I'm lost without my computer. I've included a photo I've taken if the frozen screen.

The 8600M GT has several recalls for GPUs, which had a 4-year free repair from date of purchase. It may be too late in your case. You can find the recall notices via internet search if you want to.

Original iPhone. 1 green pixel. Dead center.

Certain not to find too much sympathy around here, if any.
Purchased the iPhone in July 2007. Apple had to replace it as the screen went dead (touch areas) in October 2008. So roughly 16 months of life out of that one.
As of yesterday, there is green pixel in the center of the screen. Did a search for this is issue and apparently it is a stuck pixel and this site (http://www.ebaspace.com/iphone-app/#_home) is the only option. Ran their fix overnight which is flashing the screen in a frantic rotation. The "stuck" pixel is still there (it is a green pixel).
So, 16 months later, it appears that this iPhone is having an issue, how bad it progresses remains to be seen. Can't say I am pleased as the phone cost me over $625 with tax, so annualized that $234.48 per year to have the pleasure of owning this phone. That is without the phone plan. Just the hardware.
Going to keep trying and possibly restore the phone to see if I can shake this green pixel and if anyone here has any other advice, appreciate your input.
My final attempt will be to go to the genius bar and see, what, if anything, can be done (ie. buy another original iPhone, if they even carry any in stock, which I highly doubt.).
I'm biting my lip on this as I have come to expect quality from Apple, which as of late with their updates for our OS, etc. has been somewhat suspect.
Apple apologists, please do not use this thread for any other reason but to advise.

Came across an app in the itunes store that goes for .99 to do the same thing that the link in my original post does.
Read through the reviews of this app and the solution was in review section.
Apply pressure. So I did. Green pixel is gone. Gone.
In this day and age of modern technology, sometimes it takes the old school way of banging the side of the TV to get it to work.
To those who come across this thread seeking an answer. Try the free website in my original post. If that doesn't do it, take your thumb, place it on that green or red or blue pixel and apply pressure. Fixed.

Red blue & green pixels stuck on in four coners of the iPhone 3G

4-8 stuck red blue green pixels stuck on in each corner of the iPhone 3G. You can see them when you flip between icon pages & in photos, browser etc. In other words, as you slide from the springboard page one of apps to page two the pixels stay stuck on in the same place as the images drags across?
Is that maybe from pressure, maybe sitting on the iPhone?

Green Pixel after upgrade to iOS 4.0.1 on 3GS

ok.. this is very very weird..
i have 3GS 32GB, after i upgrade to 4.0.1 or 4.0.2, if i download picture from safari or facebook or apps, the pictures is showing green pixel, but not all the picture have a green pixel, it's random picture, some picture showing little green pixel or many many green pixel
but if insert picture from my computer or taking from camera, its doesn't show green pixel. i have tested with stuck pixel or dead pixel test apps, my lcd is good, doesn't have stuck pixel or dead pixel
what is the problem with my iphone? what i must to do? thx

30" with edge effects, green pixels?

Just installed first 30" display on Geforce 6800 DDL in my G5. All windows have a blue edge effect (left side usually) and green pixel fringing on the right and within many objects, icons, text.
Is this a symptom of a bad LCD?

I bought the original 17" MacBook Pro with a 30" Cinema and had the green/blue pixel issue right away. Seemed to only come after the display went to sleep. I brought it back to the Apple Store and they told me it was a bad graphics card and replaced the MacBook Pro. I took it home and the problem was still there. Next they replaced the 30" display. I took that home and had the same problem. I took in both the display and MacBook Pro and they couldn't reproduce the problem using their Cinema Display. The Genius told me it must be an interference issue and to try using the combination in a different place. I moved both to the other end of the house and had the same problem. Next they told me to try a power line conditioner. I bought a 1500VA backup and the problem was still there. Then I noticed that it only showed up when my laptop was closed (I thought I was supposed to be able to do that). I left it open from then on and all was well. Then I upgraded to the Core 2 Duo and got a different problem. Now instead of blue and green pixels, I get a snowy blue pixel dots and lines jumping all over the dark areas of the screen. I can change the desktop picture and it only effects the black or nearly black areas. Watching a DVD is painful - blue static everywhere.
I find it interesting that two different computers with the same video card and the same monitor have similar, but not identical problems. I found a fix in leaving my lid open last time, but I haven't found a fix for the Core 2 Duo. Anyone?

3 years ago I bought an IMac Desktop that I am using for a lot of things but the most important for dvd montage in Imovies and Idvd.
Now today when I opened my computer I get as usual the white screen with the Apple symbol but there were all over the screen vertical lines with green pixels and after a while the screen gets grey and I get message to restart my computer using the power button or the restart button and when I do so each time the same is happening somebody can tell me what is happening and what caused this. This computer is my work and now I have no income anymore.
On the Apple support site they are asking to enter the serial number and when I do so I get message it is wrong but it is the only one I have and I buy this computer in Cairo Egypt. I am living in Hurghada in Egypt for the moment. When I call the technical support of the shop where I buy it they are telling me that it is the hard disk or ram and that I probably lost everything on it and they are asking a big amount to repair.

You can find the serial number either in About this Mc in the Menu bar under the , or it should be on a sticker under the foot of the machine.
If you have the install discs, try booting from them, holding down the c key and then using Disk Utility to check the drive.
You can also boot into Safe mode
To start up into Safe Mode (to "Safe Boot"), do this:
   1. Be sure the computer is shut down.
   2. Press the power button.
   3. Immediately after you hear the startup tone, press and hold the Shift key.
      Tip: The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone but not before.
   4. Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple and progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
During the startup in Mac OS X 10.2 through 10.3.9, you will see "Safe Boot" on the Mac OS X startup screen.
During the startup in Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you will see "Safe Boot" on the login window, which appears even if you normally log in automatically.
Please post back with results,
To leave Safe Mode in any version of Mac OS X, restart the computer normally, without holding any keys during startup.

Late 2011 Macbook Pro green pixels on the screen where dark colors should appear.

I have a late 2011 Macbook Pro I bought it new with 4 gb of ram. About 4 months ago i purchased 8 gb of pny ram for this model and upgraded the ram. I followed all of the safety precautions and discharged my static electricity before upgrading. It increased the speed of my mac and helps with certain tasks. About 2-3 weeks i notices my mac froze and strange green black and pink bars appeared on the screen so i hold the power button to shut it down and it solves the problem this will happen about once a month but otherwise my mac works perfect. Now about a month ago I powered my mac on and low and behold The screen was covered in green pixels. I tried rebooting twice and it didn't do anything then i let it sleep for about 5 mins opened my mac and the green pixels were gone. Now my mac is still usable and everything works its just sometimes like once in a while ill get a few pixels and closing and opening my mac fixes it. I was curious if this was related to one another or is my mac just starting to die....

I'm not sure, if you're out of warrenty it'll cost quite a bit for the replacement of the logic board replacement...unless you have apple care. you could ask apple to try and recover your hard drive but i'm not sure.

Mac wont play online videos and photobooth is pink and green pixels?

Recently my MacBook Pro has been very slow and has now decided not to play videos on E.g Youtube. I thought it was just the internet playing up, but going to use PhotoBooth the camera screen is all pink and green pixels?? Overall my mac is very slow and doesnt play video/photobooth. Help please!!!

Chris thanks for your reply, if none of the Do Not Disturb settings are switched on - then am I right that this setting will have no effect. I.e. I want my phone to ring at all times, so have turned off all of the do not disturb settings

How can I get rid of green pixelation on a re-exported video?

I recently finished a film that ended on the 18-minute mark. When the film was done, I deleted everything except the finished video file to save space. I had to use this finished video file to cut a 15-minute version of the film for a festival next weekend. I submitted the cut-down version, but it will only be played on the grounds that I can submit a version without the green pixelation that seems to have been caused upon importing the finished video file. Is this a known problem? What can I do to fix this? Here are the technical specifications.

Green pixels in clips cause 'premiere elements.exe stopped working error.'

I have a jvc everio camcorder - PAL. I have copied files from the camcorder to my computer. My computer is running Vista SP1 with 2Gb ram.
The files appear to import to PElements 4 however when playing or rendering the clips I get an error adobe premiere elements.exe has stopped working.
I have noticed that the clips have green pixels appear at the point where PE crashes. All clips seem to have this problem.
I have followed the suggestions from the knowledge base re: updating codecs, disabling startup items, updating video driver.
I don't have the cyberlink software that came with the jvc. I bought premiere elements as I had read that it would be able to read the jvc files.
Has anyone got any other suggestions?

Thanks for the redirect. The solution to my problem was to follow this suggestion from that thread:
I was having the same JVC Everio/Elements 7 problem. I tried renaming the .mod extensions to .mpg and .avi, but still had the green artifacts. After an hour on the phone with Ronald, a VERY helpful Adobe Service Tech, I seem to have a solution that is working on my 5 edit stations here in my AV Lab.
Go to the Adobe Elements 7 folder in your "Program Files" folder and open the "Plug Ins" and "en_US" folders. Find a file called ImporterFastMPEG.prm and remove it. I moved it to the desktop until I test the software totally and make sure this doesn't cause other problems. If you are a brave, go ahead and delete it.
This is working for me, and avoids all that renaming - reprocessing the .mod files. So far, so good!
