Greying out print preview tab in PO

Dear Experts,
We have a scenario where in users are sending the PO details to vendors even before the po is released which is a big problem. IF we go to ME9F & give the PO number which is not released completely, then NO suitable PO documents found like that we get message & hence there is no problem from ME9F. But users are going to ME23N & click on print preview tab, from there taking screen shots & sending to vendor. To avoid this can we grey out print preview tab in Purchase order. Please suggest.

if users are using the printscreen option and sending it to the vendor,
then you should eliminate the use of the "print preview' button in all the relevant transactions,
you can use Transaction Variant functionality to deactivate the Print preview option,

Display only/Grey out Delivery Schedule tab in the PO

We are not going to use Delivery Schedule tab at all. Business wants us to Grey out the delivery schedule tab. Is it possible to make all fields under Delivery Schedule as display only? If yes, how can I do that? But, I don't want PO line qty to be grayed out.
Fields like, delivery date, scheld qty, stat.del date etc.

you better convince your business to wait for a couple months and then rethink this requirement.
You may not have the full understanding yet and have not made a lot experience.
in this tab you can add further requisitions to your PO item, you can close requisitions in case you order less than a requisition, you have to change the statistical delivery date in some case when you are using vendor evaluation, you may have to split the order quantity into several delivery dates if your vendor informs you that he cannot supply you at one time with all quantity.
Just to save you money that you may spend into a development which has to be turned off a little later.

Browsers greyed out in Preview in Browser

I'm using DW 8.0.2. I have the following browsers installed:
- IE7
- Firefox 2
- Mozilla 1.7
- Safari 3.0.2
- Opera 9.1
In Preview in Browser (either from the File menu or the tool
bar), all but
Firefox (& the option to edit the list) are greyed out. I
have IE set as
primary, and can preview using that by hitting F12. Safari is
set as
Secondary, and Ctrl-F12 works for that. But the only one I
can actually
click on in the list is Firefox. I can't preview with Mozilla
or Opera at
all.
I'm running Vista Ultimate. They all worked fine on my XP
machine (except
Safari which wasn't installed). Any suggestions?

I checked that on all of them - they are still greyed out.
And like I say,
both IE & Opera work with the shortcut keys - I just
can't click on them (or
the others) in the list.

I am modifying MEDRUCK so that I can place a new Window to display PO text . I am using FM 'READ_TEXT' to get the PO text . In print preview I can display the PO text, but in print out PO text is missing . Can you please help me .

Item_text
/: INCLUDE &T166P-TXNAM& OBJECT &T166P-TDOBJECT& ID &T166P-TDID& LANGUAGE &EKKO-SPRAS& PARAGRAPH IX
And they are maintained under the text elements HEADER_TEXT and ITEM_TEXT
so if you want these texts to be printed in your window corresponding text elements have to be used along with the Include statements

Can't restore previous session (greyed out); lost all tabs and groups

I've had a similar problem with FireFox version 30 as found in the following question: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/997956?esab=a&as=aaq
I lost all my tabs including those in two groups (maybe 100 tabs) that I'd been keeping for a couple of years and in some cases much longer. Very occasionally I'll get the "oops this is embarrassing" message from FF and when I click on the Restore Previous Session button they reappear.
What happened this time is that when booting my computer (Windows 7), Adobe Flash wanted to download an update, and instead of waiting for the boot to finish as I normally would, I clicked on the Adobe Flash Download Update button. It then opened FF and hung, so I eventually used Task Manager to end FF. After the computer finished booting, when I opened FF it had no open tabs or groups, and the Restore Previous Session option (and each of the other options in that grouping in the History menu) was greyed.
When investigating, I find I do have the sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files from yesterday (each about 4.5 mb), but I don't know how to access them because the Restore Previous Session option is greyed.

Awesome. And maybe back up your sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files somewhere outside of your Firefox settings folder in case you need them for a future recovery. (That would involve copying them back to your active profile folder while Firefox is closed so it finds them when it starts back up again.)

Sourcing cockpit field should be greyed out

   In Sourcing Cockpit, the purchase Org and Purchase Group field should be Greyed out in "Find" tab...

It seems to work but why can't i find any value in the table is_header nor is_item: (I have already add SC in the work area)

CertSrv Request DCOM Config Greyed Out

Hi,
I am trying to publish a Server 2008 Certificate Authority behind an ISA 2006 firewall. I've run into trouble because autoenrollment uses DCOM/RPC. I found a document (http://blogs.isaserver.org/pouseele/2007/10/ and http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/windowsserver2003/technologies/security/webenroll.mspx) on how to configure the CertSrv Request DCOM object to use a specific port.
The problem is when I look at the properties of the CertSrv Request in the Component Services MMC, all the options are greyed out (on all tabs). I have checked other random dcom objects and some are normal, others are greyed out.
Is there a way to fix it?

Due to security consideration, some system core components only grant Trustedinstaller full control permission instead of Administrators.
To enable modification settings of 'CertSrv Request':
1.    Open Register Editor to 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\AppID\{D99E6E74-FC88-11D0-B498-00A0C90312F3}'
2.    Right click the {D99E6E74-FC88-11D0-B498-00A0C90312F3} key (AppID of Certsrv Request), choose permission.
3.    Take the ownership to Administrators. Then grant the Administrators 'full control' permission.
4.    Restart the dcomcnfg.

PLD 'print preview' icon greyed out

Hi All,
I am working on making modifications to a report in PLD. I have started with a standard report and 'saved as' a new report. I would like to preview the report within PLD. When I go to File > Print Preview, Print Preview is 'greyed out'. How do I gain access to print preview in PLD. I am logged into SAP B1 as a super user so I don't think authorizations are the problem. Also, I am able to print preview from the marketing document. (Sales Order > Print Preview).

I never close the PLD when previewing.
i.e I am altering a PL for a sales order.
I open a sales order (any)
click PLD and set the layout i want to alter, as default, then open it in PLD
make the changes and save them, do NOT close PLD
switch back to your sales order and click preview.
changes are now shown.
switch back to PLD if needed.

When I open a new tab or print preview, the msn games page pops up

I downloaded a trial game from msn games and whenever I open a new tab or open print preview to print out a page the msn games search page opens up. In print preview the correct page will print, but I cant choose a specific page or view the next page. I removed the game and all of its components but the problem didn't go away

Two-sided printing option greyed-out HP OfficeJet 7500a

Hi,
Could anyone help me? I just bought a HP OfficeJet 7500a (which does support duplex printing) and I am unable to do two-sided printing as the dropdown menu (located in layout in the print screen) is greyed-out.
Do I require a driver or anything like that?
By the way I am running Mountain Lion Developer Preview if that matters.

My problem is that after printing the first photo or picture, when I come to print a second, both the Colour Management and Epson Colour Controls are greyed out and showing No Colour Management

I have recently purchased a Mac computer (updated to Maverick) to go with my Epson Stylus Photo RX500 printer which has given excellent service with my old Windows computer. However, when trying to print pictures or photos via Photoshop Elements 11, the best results I can get are using the Colour Management and Epson Colour controls in the printing options box.
My problem is that after printing the first photo or picture, when I come to print a second, both the Colour Management and Epson Colour Controls are greyed out and showing No Colour Management, The only way I can reset the controls is to shut down the printer and computer and restart.
Could there may be a setting somewhere that I need to adjust please? I have been in touch with Epson and they say that the Epson Colour controls are part of the Photoshop Elements software but a post on the Adobe forum brought no results and I am unable to contact Adobe.

Hello Garry. Thanks for the reply. I guess I should have used a different title from "How do I post a question?" That should come after trying to resolved the colour settings first. However, to answer your question, after experimenting with all the different settings in Photoshop Elements and Epson software, I now start with PSE11 Colour settings then click "no colour management" then after clicking Print, I choose "More Options/Colour Management/Colour Handling/Printer Manages Colour" then I choose "Page Setup/Layout/Colour Matching" which then shows Epson Colour Controls but I also choose "Layout/Colour Management" which then shows "Colour Controls/Mode" I then of course choose an Epson printer profile depending on the paper I am using. I get good results but as I said, the Colour Matching and Colour Controls are then greyed out. Hope that makes sense.

Since updating to Yosemite and CS6 2 of my print options are greyed out on my epson R2880 print pane?

My colour and colour settings options are 'greyed out' on my Epson printer pane since updating to Yosemite and CS6,this happened before after running a software update on the printer driver! The driver version at that time was 6.62 and now it has updated to version 9.00....could this be the problem??

That's strange ... did you try restarting before printer install? You also may need to delete the printer itself (System Preferences > Printers & Scanners) and add it again , in order to access the proper drivers (?)
Can you show screen shot(s) of your incomplete print dialog?

Newbie: In printing dialog, "Scale to" size options are greyed out

I am in the initial stages of figuring out how to use Aperture (v1.5). I am currently trying to make a 5x7 print of a photo.
In the print dialog, "Scale to" 4x6, 5x7, 8x10 size options are greyed out (only "fit image" and "fill entire page" are available).
I've tried searching through the forums, but to no avail...

Illustrations greyed-out when printing PDF file from Adobe Reader

Hello,
From within PageMaker 7 I've made a 52-page PDF document in Distiller (selected job option is for Print) and uploaded it to my website. It contains many greyscale illustrations (TIFs and JPGs first imported into PageMaker), and text. I am able to view the PDF file over the net, and can print the illustrations and text on each page with no problem. I am using an old HP laser printer (LaserJet 5L). Other users are able to view the same PDF document on the net, and they can see all the illustrations and text on every page. However, some users who have tested it are reporting that when they try to print out the pages on their own printers, most of the illustrations are greyed-out between pages 3 and 51. The text is printing correctly on their printers. The images on the front and back cover are printing, and so is an 11-page comic strip (made up entirely of 11 TIFs, with no additional text). Can anyone work out why all the other illustrations throughout the document are printing greyed-out on their printers?

I am replying to my own question.
After posting here, I received feedback from a viewer that the PDF file is downloading and printing out pages with no greying-out of the illustrations. It looks to me as though the problems are arising from other viewers' slow internet connections and/or hardware RAM for printing, especially if trying to print all pages at once, rather than Saving As to hard drive, then printing.
