Grid line display

I have a2300 Powershot black and just can not get to the display menu that turns on to the the Grid lines. The only display I get starts with" Lamp Display" on top. This is a really basic question but it has me stumped. Could somebody help me with a very simple explanation...........thanks................

Hi Woodmaster100,
According to the manual, the grid lines are not available in Auto mode. If you go into the P mode, you should be able to access the grid lines option from the menu. This will be near the end of the list.

Spreadsheet component - bottom grid line not displaying in swf file

Hi,
I'm having an issue with the spreadsheet component. I'm using the "Ignore blank cells in Values" option on the behavior tab. This works fine. The problem I'm having is the bottom grid line in the spreadsheet table is not displaying in the swf file. The bottom grid line displays correctly in Preview mode....but is not displaying in the swf file. Anyone have any ideas on why?

I'm not sure if I've interpreted your response correctly. Our entire dashboard app is built on the swf files being called from the URL buttons. We are not using HTML files. Are you saying that if I do a file export to HTML that the swf file generated from this will display the bottom grid lines?
I noticed that the spreadsheet component grid lines display correctly in the swf when not checking the ignore blank cells option in the behavior tab.
So what would be our options here.....either uncheck the display grid lines for the spreadsheet component to not display the grid lines at all, or do not use the ignore blank cells option in the behavior tab to display a fixed number of rows each time?

Line Chart does not display grid lines for x-axis (apex 2.0 / 3.0)

is there an option to display x-axis grid lines?
I set up an SVG chart (Line) but only IE displays y-axis grid-lines. I set the "Show Grid Line" - value to "enable"
Does any body has an idea how I told apex to display x-axis grid lines also.
Btw: only MS Internet Explorer displays the grid lines, I use firefos 1.5.0.10 -> no grid lines are displayed.
The table how I create the chart are as follows

I changed this and put usage of UTL_FILE into a dynamic PL/SQL. The package will
compile and work unless you want to create debug information. If yes, then it will raise an
error message. So, you don't need UTL_FILE execution priviledge from your DBA.
I opened the package and you may modify it the way that you don't need any public
synonyms and no UTL_FILE to run it.
There are so many questions in this forum related to "What is my DBA going to say?" or
"How is he going to react?". Even for some minor issues. I have myself also seen some
of similar situations and the only thing I can sey is:
You got to use that powerfull tool Oracle Database instead of hiding it away from your
users and developers. Learn how to control it instead of prohibiting access to it! Otherwise,
it's just a waste of money.

You need to modify default XSLT of listview webpart. Open your page in designer and use below jquery.

Grid lines get displayed while opening reports in MS Word 2003

When generating report using rdlc, We are getting grid lines (grey color) in word document (MS Word 2003).
When opened with MS Word 2007 the grey lines are not get appeared. It's happening only in MSWord 2003.
Is there any solution for this problem? Please provide suggestions.

How to hide the grid lines between two rows in a ALv? Please help!

Hi Experts,
         I have a ABAP ALV(reuse alv grid FM) report.
The last field in the ALV is "Description" which can contain data of size more than 130 chars.
Since the max field length in ALV grid is 130 chars hence I am splitting this field value whenever the field length is more than 130 chars.
After splitting I am generating duplicate rows but with different "Description" field values ( each contains the splitted values".
For example:
Name| City | Description                             |
Hari|HK    |Employee responsible for time management |
Hari|HK    |and issue resolution                     |
Now I want to hide the grid line between these two rows
and just for Description field.
In other words I want ALV to display like this:
Name| City | Description                             |
Hari|HK    |Employee responsible for time management |
Hari|HK    |and issue resolution                     |
How can I acheive this?
Please provide some sample code.

Alv grid layout display in 2 pages

I am presently working in ALV programming.
The client requierment is "GL line items and summary sheet will be listed in separate pages."

Line Chart glitch - grid lines thick at certain heights

The Flex Line Chart control does not display correctly at certain heights. The gridlines that are supposed to be 1px pin stripes are sometimes displayed up to 100px wide. This can be demonstrated with 1 line of code

I also have another small app that uses a timer to demonstrate how as the height increases the gridlines increase from:
1px to 100px
then back to 1px
.... then as the chart's height increases another 7000px the 1px gridlines display correctly
then it repeats going back to thick, then thin etc... almost a pulsating effect

PCXML script is used for chart rendering, and with that I think you can't demark the Gridlines.
The following Xml file gives the definitions for the chart components including gridlines.

Which inturn refers to the following js for gridlines
i think you have to work on the Js here demark the grid lines by default

Align Grid Lines in chart

Hi ......
I am generating a line chart using an xml file...I am setting
the interval as 250 on X Axis.....
And I am using a repeated square image as a background.
Intention is to have that square aligned inside the grid lines.....
The problem is that the chart data is dynamic... and when the
no of plottable values are more , then it takes the grid interval
automatically as 500 and not 250 as the chart gets displayed in the
same width.........Due to which the grid squares change and the
alignment to the image gets disturbed.......
I need to set the width of the chart based on the number of
values in the xml in such a way that the grid always comes at 250
and the image is properly aligned in the grid lines......
Please help me in this regard....
Or suggest me some other way to achieve the same.....

I know that I can control the origin of the rulers, but when I change that, the grid lines do not change, which is quite annoying.
Depends on which version of Illustrator you are using.
In recent versions turn on global rulers, then change the rulers origin in order to position the grid.

JTable Grid Lines became very light when changed to JGoodies L&f

After changing to the JGoodies Look and Feel, my Table Grid Lines (Row and Column Lines) look very light. They are hardly visible. The former orinignal black grid lines looks light as gray. Is there a way to change the color of Grid lines using the Table Renderers or do I need to do anywhere else

I have placed the below statement in my Overridden getTableCellRendererComponent method as the first statement
table.setGridColor(Color.red);
The probelm is everytime I switch windows (between my application and any other program), my application is almost dying (GUI gets completely screwed) until I keep clicking on the Application and then it gets back

I am not expert in these, but please check out the following things and see whether it would solve your issue. (All these changes can be easily rolled back in case I'm wrong :). So make note of what you do)
As per your httpd.conf, you have chosen an automatic configuration of Apache by OWCI installer itself. What it does is create an imageserver.conf file in a separate directory and these settings will be included in your httpd.conf as you can see in the first line: Include "C:/bea/alui/plumtreeconf/".
If you check the imageserver.conf in that location, you would find a line like: Alias /imageserver/ "C:/bea/alui/ptimages/imageserver/". This aliases the original path "C:/bea/alui/ptimages/imageserver/" to /imageserver"
To confirm whether this is done right, check the following:
1. Acces 'http://<server ip / server name / localhost >/' from your browser
This should display the Apache home page (as per your httpd.conf, it uses the default port 80; so no port number required)
2. Access 'http://<server ip>/imageserver/' from your browser
This should display the directory structure (if its not disabled) inside your 'C:/bea/alui/ptimages/imageserver/' folder. Also confirm that all the subfolders are accessible.
3. If all the above is right, it means that your imageserver settings are right. Please check your portalconfig.xml for the correct settings: For example, <setting name="HTTPPort"> should be 7001 in your case. If its something else, change it and restart Weblogic for the settings to take effect.

In Report I have a 2D axis system. How do I properly calculate the grid line interval for exactly 10 dots per tick

Having trouble getting the dots to line up correctly with the ticks of a 2D axis. I would like to have exactly 10 dots per tick. The programming is no problem. I set the D2AxisGridInterv variable after opening the 2D axis object. I can't seem to figure out how to calculate the number that results in exactly 10 dots per tick. I also have tried manually iterating to get 10 dots and have not been succesful. What is this number based from? It says as a percentage of the diagonal of the worksheet. I can get pretty close to 10 dots per tick, but it is always off just a bit. Is there really a way to get scientific based dots on a 2D axis so that the data can be analyzed from a printed plot?

Hi Ryan,
I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "dots", but I'm going to guess you meant grid lines set to dot display. In that case you can align the grid lines to the axis sub-ticks, then set the sub-ticks to invisible. The sub-ticks can be set to N of them per axis tick. Attached you will find an example of 10 dotted vertical grid lines per X axis tick.

Waveform Editor Grid Lines in Audition 5.5

Hi,
Anyone know how to turn OFF the grid lines (vertical and horizontal) in the Waveform Editor view in Audition 5.5? I'm on a try-out version at the moment, but have used Audition 2 for years - I loved the way the display was completely customisable. The grid lines in Audition 5.5 are very heavy, and it feels as though they get in the way of me viewing the waveform properly. It may seem like a small thing, but when you're editing thousands of files, sometimes sitting for 4 hours or more at a time, these small things can make a HUGE difference!
Here's hoping!

New Audition user, longtime audio professional, bumping up this post to 2015. Need to remove the grid behind the waveform in Audition; self-help search engine is giving irrelevant results and is wasting significant work time.

When you work with the grid you just have to drag it into your srf and bind it with some table by specifying the table name in its properties.
When the form launches the columns of the grid will be created automatically as per the number of columns in the table.The caption of the column in the grid will be the same as that of the name of the column in the table.The only condition for this is that the table should contain some records, if the table is empty no grid lines and the column header will be displayed .

LINE DISPLAY PROBLEMS

LINE PROBLEMS - Using photoshop elements 10. Windows 7 - 64 bit. I am having problems with "line" displaying correctly after I draw them. The line tool is working correctly, it's the display on the screen that is not. When I draw multiple lines in an open project some of them seem to disappear on the screen. If I print they DO print but I cannot see them all to correctly complete my project. This happens when I use the grid and when I don't. It happens when I do the lines all on different layer or a single layer. It happens If I duplicate layers and if I just manually draw lines on new layers. The lines will appear and disappear randomly if I zoom in and out... It is not always the same lines, not always in the same place and no other consitencies in this. They don't even show correctly in the print preview pane.... My moniter is working fine and I have no display problems in any other programs. Any ideas what is causing this? This problem does not seem to happen with any other shape just line. Also happens when I creat a line "brush" and use it.

Yes, I just double checked all my drivers now and they were already up to date...... This has me puzzled!
