Grid Report layout
Hi
I'm trying to create a tabular report with gridlines. The report goes over multiple pages and has numerous columns all of different widths and heights depending upon the row content.
I have tried to follow the tutorials however each time my rectangles overlap each other and I don't get clean grid lines. alterntively the rectangles are apart from one another.
How is a grid easily achieved using this software? Am I doing something wrong? Surely it's not meant to be this difficult?

How to get the alv grid report in another screen when double click on basic

I have created an alv report using class cl_gui_alv_grid.I got another report in the same screen,when double clicked on basic list(using double_click event).I want to get this report in another screen.What i have to do?(In classical reports i worked with sy-lsind = 1 ,but how to do here?)
How to set color to the selected rows in the alv grid report?I worked with change_data_from_inside method of cl_gui_alv_grid.But it didn't work out..

now within screen 900 PBO.. you will have to prepare the fieldcatalog/layout.. and the table to be displayed there.
in PAI of screen 9000, you can return to the original ALV.

Is is possible to apply a saved report layout like you apply to the alv grid to a csv file run in background mode?

VIA SELECTION-SCREEN
DESTINATION 'locl'
KEEP IN SPOOL 'X'
IMMEDIATELY 'X'
WITHOUT SPOOL DYNPRO
AND RETURN.
This will return the report in your layout to the spool and can be downloaded as well.

Microsoft Excel Icon in ALV Grid Report
Hi all,
We have a customized report. When we execute that reports, it open in ALV Grid format. When we choose "Microsoft Excel" Icon to change layout to Excel, it then shows the report in excel without any data.
Can any one please tell me that why there is no data? should i need to do any settings in excel for this?

Co-ordinates of reports layout
i have a doubt with the co-ordinates of report layout. In forms, we have the 'co-ordinate system' property of forms. In same way, how can we switch between inches & the other smaller unit in the grid.
I hope, my question is clear. Please help, in solving the doubt.

In Reports 6i: Format->Layout Options->Rulers. Reports 10g: Tools->Options->Rulers. Also, click on the report name in the Object Navigator, open Property Palette and take a look at "Unit of Mesurement" property.

I have to develop the ALV Grid report using the Classes ie OOPS, as i am new to OOPS and know little bit of ALV, so it will be little bit tough to develop the object so plz try to solve my query. I'm sending the Functional specs:
The program should display the list of Purchase orders and Purchase requisitions created for specified materials. The output should be displayed in form of ALV grid. There should be separate ALV Grid for Purchase order and Purchase requisition list. The user should also have an option to save various ALV layouts and should be able to choose the ALV layout on the selection screen.The user should be able to navigate to the relevant document form the ALV grid. (Use hyperlink).

Sales quote layout rows doubled in crystal report layout
Dear All,
Sales quote layout rows doubled in crystal report layout.
In sales quote layout the rows are doubled. Even in the standard layout. If the quote contains only two rows. Then it is doubled as 4 rows in the crystal report layout.
It is happening in the particular database. Other database are working fine. I request you people to help me to overcome this issue.

Huge delay in Printing Crystal Report Layout
Good Day Experts,
I am experiencing big delays when printing a document that makes use of a Crystal Report Layout Design.
For example,
The Sales Quote is set to automatically print when added by the user.
When clicking 'Add', SAP freezes up and only about 30 seconds later does the printer finally print the document.
During that time, the user cannot use SAP at all.
The layout does have a lot of fields and a few formulas here and there.
Logically, I am thinking that that is the reason for the delay, as SAP needs to calculate and populate those fields.
Is there any other way that I could speed up this process? Or if you know what might be causing this speed issue?

Report Layout in report Painter
I created a Report in reportPainter. In the report layout, lead column section..I select Group Name to display the group name (set's id) in the report's lead column but not all the set's keys appear. It only appears children's ids but not the father's ids.
I also need the father's ids....why do I do to have the father's ids too?

I need to display the contents of PDF document after the form letter report. I tried OLE object but at the runtime it does not display the content. Does any one knows how to attach PDF document in reports layout?

Ravindrayou will have to concatinate your report output with the static PDF document. in reprots 10g you can create a cusotm destination that could implement this functionality.
out of the box, reports does not provide the ability to add static content in PDF to reports' generated PDF output.
