Grids are missed in Hyperion reports

Hi Hyperion Report developers,
Could you please give me a solution to following issue,which is happened in hyperion financiial reporting studio.
I have created a one report with 6 grids and 2 charts.After i created the report iam able to see all grids except one grid which is missed.I understood that grid is existed in report and and it is not deleted from the report.How can i see the particular missing grid in report .Is there any soultion to find out?
Please let me know,if you need any further information regard this.

This is my personal opinion. This is a software, written by software developers. It might be a bug. I don't think I would pursue it after 20 days. Rather create my new grid..
But, you could have a different opinion and might like to pursue it. Did you open a SR with Oracle?

When combining files, BOLD letters are missing throughout the report

After OCR'ing and printing excel documents to my Adobe PDF printer, I try combining all the files and after completion I open the combined file and all the bold characters have missing letters, When I highlight the word and copy/paste, the word is there, just displays missing letters? Help.

Fields missing in MPD report after change to structure and program

I have been working on a consistency report for transaction MPD.
I had created a structure in SE11 for handling the data. it was all working, but then i had to go and change the name of the fields in the structure. Now those fields are missing from the report.
When i step through the debugger, all the fields are being populated correctly, but these fields are not displayed on screen. if i change the field names back in the structure and change the code for populating these fields, they appear okay.
i have created a custom implementation within BAdi MPD_WKB_REPORTING.
i have checked the config and it all points to my Z Structure and Z Table Type. I have logged off and logged back on! made sure my code is saved and activated...
any ideas on how i can display these new fields names/values?
Just for clarity, the field name has changed. not the linked data type.

within the BAdi was a method i had to amend: IF_EX_MPD_WKB_REPORTING~GET_ALV_PARAMETERS

Some parameters are missing values

I am trying to invoke a crystal report using JRC API. I am using Business Objects XI.
When I try to invoke the report after setting all parameters I am getting an error message "Some parameters are missing values ". Here is how my JSP code looks like

The problem may be that you are setting your report date parameters as a string when you pass the value to the report.   If the JRC does not recognize the parameter value as the correct type, it will throw the error you see when trying to pass them to the report.
If they are a date type or a date time type in the report, they must be set as such using the Java Calendar object.
Below is an example of how one would pass a date parameter to a report:

Some Line Items are missing in Standard SAP FI/CO Reports

Dear All,
while taking printout of SAP Standard FI/CO Reports some line items and total value are missing. E.g using TCODE FBL3N, it shows correct value after inserting selction inputs but when displaying it in spool request or taking print out it misses some line items and total value.

Few records are missing while downloading to a Spreadsheet from a Report

Dear Gurus,
few records are missing while downloading to a Spread sheet from a Z report. There are around 300 records, out of which 11 records are not appearing in Spreadsheet file after saving. But, the funny thing is when i try to save in other format like, HTML or to a clip board all records are coming.
When asked, the ABAPer said -
your report is coming correctly. if the report is wrong then we can try checking some code in the Z report. Saving it into Spread sheet is the standard program provided by SAP.
He is also facing this problem for the first time.
Can anybody help.

Few days back we got this kind of error, when i tried to down load the asset balances in excel format.
It was observed that, for one of the asset description ends with cama",". Due to this reason all other details has been stored in single cell. Once we changed the master data of that asset, then we able to get the report properly.
2) Some other time, when we tried to download material master details, for one of the material ... description not maintained. this is another issue. After maintain the description problem got resolved.

Crystal Report "some parameters are missing values" while exporting/printin

I am able to pass parameters from a JSP to a crystal report through CrystalReportViewer and view the report. (I tried doing it using the code provided on this help forum. I was getting a message: "Some Parameters are missing values". I had to add 1 line: pfield1.setReportName(""); for every parameter field. And It worked..)
Now I can see the "Print" and "Export" buttons. But when I try to print or export the report, I get the same message "Some Parameters are missing values".

Will, Go to \\Hyperion\HyperionReports\lib\hr_global.properties on your report server. Open the file in a text editor and look for the SMTP settings section. There you should put the name or IP Address of the SMTP server. Restart your report services and you should be set to go. As far as the sending email account, from the Hyperion client, go into Preferences and input the email address you want to send with in the "Your email address" field. Now that will take care of sending emails from the client. If you plan to send reports via email from a batch file, it will default to a system account for the email, most email systems will not allow this so you will have to code the sending email address into your XML file used to send the batch. This is not overly obvious as the SENDER tag is not one of the defaults (don't ask me why) you need to go through the doc for an example or if you need one, send me an email and I can forward a sample to you. Make sure that you do not clear the Browsing Cache as that will remove the thumbnails that are stored in it.

What are hyperion reports?

Iam just wondering what are Hyperion Reports? I mean to say what is called in Hyperion Reports in newer version ?
In reporting and analysis I can see
1. Financial Reporting
2. SQR Production Reporting
3.Interactive Reporting.
So what is Hyperion Reports consists of? all these 3 reporting tools?
And I would appreciate is there any usefull link or file to know what older versions are called in newer version (like Hyperion Aanlyzer is called in newer version Web Analysis).

They are all different reporting tools that you have mentioned which come under the banner of reporting and analysis, these can all be accessed from the workspace.
I always consider hyperion reports to Financial Reporting, it did used to be called hyperion reports.
Web Analysis used to be Analyzer
The rest have kept the name the same.

How to report on machines that are missing an application?

It seems to be a difficult task to report on PCs that are missing a specific exe or application. For example I ran a report and found 418 of 510 machines have the exe I am looking for. I manually merged the information on a page or 2 by printing both the device list and the list of machines with the exe. What I started to see is that some devices in the application report do not show up in the device report or in zcm for that matter and I am also finding some machines actually do have the update but do not show up on the application report. My comfort level in this reporting is not looking good seeing things not match up correctly.

Just to clarify what Andy said, the second report can reference the first report by using the criteria "Device" "not in report" "<first report name>". You don't need to export the first report and start merging stuff. There is a default report with ZCM 10.1.2 called "Reports --> Inventory Custom Reports --> Software Applications --> Workstations without antivirus software" which gives a good example of this.

We are using Crystal Reports (Product Version: 11.0.0.1282). We encountered with a problem while we are going to export report in CSV (Separated Text). The report Contained Cross-Tab. Its Shows the Error Message u201CFailed to export the report \n Crosstabs and OLAP grids are not supported in this export formatu201D. Please find the attachment with this mail having screen shot for the same.
We were able to export CSV (Separated Text) Format in Crystal Report Version 7 for the same report. Please let us know any way(s) so that we will successfully export the report in CSV (Separated Text) format in Crystal Reports version 11.

The columns are missed in Backgroup job in report program

Hi experts,
 I have a report program and I display it by WRITE statement. The total length of the report is about 550, and I set the line-size to 600. When I run it by backgroup job, it can not display the row completedly, the last 10 columns are missed. Do any one know what happpen and how I fixed it? Thanks in advance.
